LOLOLOL I like how there is mention of engineer roles but no mention of what those are, unlike the clear examples for the other classes. Please tell me what they are. I have over 1k hours on engineer, mostly in wvw and I still don’t know what my role there is. Forget tpvp.

I’ve had a similar thought after trying some elixir and grenades build, but I’d rather see regen as the standard boon since it is a heal skill and the regen provides at least some protection if you toss grenades into a retal-buffed group. IDK.

No use. You’re responding to someone who has already been there, done that, and has little interest in doing that again. It would be more constructive to encourage those who actually have the interest to do as you suggest.

Moreover, if you are a PvE-er who finds themselves resembling the remark, my suggestion would be to join a WvW guild and fulfill your willingness to learn.

Clearly, one or two guilds transferring are “bandwagon” as opposed to the clear lack of experience in working together that a very large influx of players to a server exhibit.

BTW, Joey, I’m hoping for omega or gtfo.

Man, this comes up from time to time and it would be nice to see Anet do something about it. I posted a thread myself about my thoughts on it. Mortar #1 should increase in radius for one. Either the range should be greatly increased or, because it would have to be used in close, it should have its hp and toughness greatly increased, maybe even made indestructible considering that the person using it is still subject to damage. Nothing worse than putting Mortar down within range only to have it destroyed before the player even is able to get off one shot.

Mend seems to have a history with SIC. It’s nothing personal with IOJ. I too can’t wait to Spike Karn/Mend (all in good fun buddy).

Mend just mad that Alaric posted a video of SIC wiping them when they were on HoD right after Mend claimed to pull entire map queues. So they transferred to IoJ and started a little battle of wills. I, for one, am glad they won to be top dog WvW guild on IoJ now that everyone left. With allies like that, who needs enemies?

Mmmmmm perceptions are such a funny thing. Alaric has never once made such a claim. We will, however, jump into a zerg of 80 as a flanking force when there is an ally zerg around. Hammer and Anvil: normal open field tactics, not something your siege bunkering guild would understand.

Maybe it is just me not understanding how stealth works, but is anyone else finding issues with still being hit by single-target skills after stealthing using Toss Elixir S? It has happened in both PVE and WvW.

SIC wasn’t rallied last night. Eventually we got up to 6 on for night crew skirmishing.

Easy to brag about not wiping when holed up on the third floor of SMC behind a kitten ton of arrow carts and ballistae or running back through the unguarded side of garrison to the safety of the arrow carts at inner. I wouldn’t wipe either.

This comment needs calling out as well because it just isn’t true. SIC did not abuse people for not fighting outnumbered other than the abuse suffered by the red nameplates. It can only be said that SIC ruffled some feathers by pushing guilds to improve with concrete and constructive suggestions based on our experiences.

“Your guys”? You said your fight was against 1 SIC and 3 BP versus 3 IOJ while “your guys” addressed to SIC implies a complement of SIC members. Three BP pugs cannot represent SIC any more than you can represent another guild on IOJ.

We fought outside your keep and when everyone died and there was a char left he tried running back in but we locked him down. We then waited outside for another fight but you guys came out with like 8-9 people. We tried fighting again when it was more even near SMC but an enemy necro and his buddies walked into the fight and we retreated since we were way outnumbered. That’s when we were hopping away down the alley and we had the fair fight.

Either way good fight. Lots of hammer stuns but we’re good at avoiding them. We just saved the hammer warriors for last.

Yea, those sound like the fights earlier in the night when we had poor class comp and no damage. Our usual caster players were practicing their hammer stuns. Good practice for them, but you made them get on their mains afterwards. Were you not around when we ran into you again later in the night?
