I like popcorn more than the score. I was sad last night it seemed like TC looked at the score and gave up on the match. Our 4-man group had a hard time finding people to fight that wasn’t the PiNK blob.

The mansplaining is especially prominent from the people who make comments about FA tanking into silver. They are not on FA, weren’t in the Warzone discussions, yet somehow they feel the need to tell those with personal experience how things went down. They just make themselves look like fools. Please, keep telling us this.

I see I’ve been away from the match thread too long and missed out on both the “wvw noob double team qq” and “tank/bandwagon” chapters.

Like all great rivalries, the TC/FA one started over something done by a third party. The infamous yak parade that started it all was put on by CD.

Participating in [YAK] Animal Control is an FA ritual of passage.

Since HOPE reformed back in July, they’ve become a serious force to reckon with. I wouldn’t want to be on their bad side.

I’ve been having similar issues. Without going into too much detail (terrible, I know), I’ve come to suspect it may have something to do with a Windows update in combination with the Optimus technology that switches between the integrated graphics card and the Nvidia card. It is NOT a heat/GPU issue (though you should be blowing the dust out at least once a month). I’ve been able to play under intense WvW zerg battles on reset night without a crash. Other times I just am standing at the bank doing nothing and it crashes.

GPU is Nvidia 675M.

Ah, I see the “our server is mature/their’s is immature” part of the show has started already.

Not sure what OP means by “sticky situations”. I play engineer so it is what I recommend. If someone hasn’t played engineer, one of the least played classes, they’ll probably recommend some other class that is one of the most played. Not many people “get” engineer. I still don’t get it either. LOL!

BOMB has been nothing but an asset to Fort Aspenwood, organizing FA’s traditionally weak EU coverage.

You know what’s awesome about this new GvG arena? Everyone goes there. You know what’s awesome about that? It sends a message to Anet that people want these kind of PvP fights with the expanded PvE ruleset instead of the stripped down s/tPvP ruleset.

[BT] Black Talons. They started what defines Fort Aspenwood: red == dead, and were rather instrumental in organizing the Fort Aspenwood community and drawing more FA players into WvW from PvE.

I second BP for the number of moderate sized guild groups they have. [Lost] is fun to run around with.

Interesting to see someone else notice the lack of collision. If the “melee assist” feature were forced on in WvW, combat would be very very different and IMHO would be the ultimate way to destroy the ability to zerg. Battles would be more realistic.
