Totally agree, a guildie was just complaining about badge drop rate yesterday and l concur.
A couple of other points:
1. Remove armor repairs from Wvw
2. Do not allow use of ascended items in Wvw.
Incentive to play is currently lacking for these reasons. On outnumbered servers given server imbalance, people give up and won’t participate when they are going to be repeatedly zerged by overgeared players.

Bring back Gw1’s unique features that kept us playing for years instead of copying game models based on gear progression.

If they remove armor repairs than they have to remove making money in wvw. You may as well ask them to remove armor repairs in general.

Valentine’s day is a hallmark holiday so I would hope not. If Valentine’s Day gets one I want one for Beer Can Appreication Day. (it’s real, google it)

People value their money differently is all it boils down to. Some don’t mind spending real money for virtual items because they have disposal cash.

I’ve played WAY less than 400 hours & use no magic find & have found loads of exotics off Champs, Vets & regs. The other day I got 2 exotics for a map completion. The drop rate could be increased for chests, but it’s not a big deal for me.

Not sure why you can’t seem to find any.

Certain maps gives exotics for completion. Mainly the 70+ ones so you can’t really count them as drops.

You can do the same JP on different characters and get credit for it. So you can farm the same one over and over if you wanted.

Here I thought it was just me! In GW1 I played every beta weekend and even snuck into the Korean beta. Went on to play for years until the game slid downhill into solo everything with your heroes and Shadow Form ridiculousness. But this,.. I really just don’t get it. Not according to Anet. Like somebody just said they nerf the farming areas and pretty much force you into the fractals dungeon. Nerf the things people like to do seems to be their new motto.

No? The guild karma booster increases all karma gain. I’ve done it twice before. Guild booster, guild flag, karma booster and karma food all contribute to the amount of karma increased. Don’t claim something as fact until you’ve tried doing it yourself.

Also, you’re not forced to run FOTM. The stats are barely higher than Exotics.

So we shouldn’t complain about things that should have been in there since day one? Like the disconnect issue that was there since the start? You think it’s fine to release half broken content and get around to fixing it more than 2 months after it was released? These aren’t improvements.. they are things that should have been implemented day one of the patch. You know.. play test it before releasing it like very company should be doing? Not this “We’ll release it bugged and patch it later” like console developers do.

I hate timed things. I suck at jumping so times puzzles are hard for me. The absolute worst thing about the puzzle is waiting 30 seconds or more to restart it if you fall.

Why have you separated, except for the WvW kills which I and many others would wish you would take out of the monthly, every type of content into its own category of PvE and PvP, and then go and put in PvP requirements for the Wintersday achievements? I HATE PVP, as do many others, and find it completely unfair that I HAVE to participate in it in order to complete all the achievements. TAKE IT OUT!

This is the thing I think they should devote 100% of their attention to until it’s fixed. Game-breaking bug, IMO.

You don’t understand what a game breaking bug is.. It IS annoying though. It should have been fixed 1 kittening month ago when it was released.

I’m kind of doubting that they are actually actively working on it right now to be honest. They said it will happen when servers are turned into paid transfers but they always said they would be closing server transfer “when the population stabilizes” so who knows?

I, too can confirm that enabling the AoE effects fixed my issue as well. Kind of weird that would mess it up though. But at least I can finally play that fractal without telling my party that I may crash. Managed to get up to level 10 with only seeing it 5 times at least.

The digital deluxe version is a bunch of one time use only items plus a summon skill with a useless pet. It’s not THAT good.

Hmm, like I’ve said before on the subject, I’ll consider it to be another “checks in the mail” People got e-mails from support saying the rewards would be given out Monday or Tuesday of last week, and more e-mails said this Monday or Tuesday.

I honestly don’t expect them to ever honor their word. They have lied in the past. It shouldn’t take 2.5 weeks to fix this. Even the Fractal DC issue is still around.

Getting to Jade Maw was sooo fun with the jumping issue. Party members fell a couple times before we all made it.

Gold dots for guild members in general would be awesome.

This is a promising reply and cant wait for them to fix it.

They can’t even do compensation for the Lost Shores event so forgive me if I don’t believe them saying they are looking into it. Or maybe they ARE looking into it and a fix will be along in 2 months at the rate they fix things.

gw2lfg.com is what I use to find groups.

Only one person needs the dungeon story completed to go into explore mode.

Sell or salvage is really the only course of action.

The seraph path in CM with blowing up the gate. It has infinitely respawning enemies until you blow it up.

I always seem to crash in the harpy fractals at the same exact jump and have no idea why. I would imagine it would be my client but I have no idea. I have a screenshot posted showing where I crash. It’s at the top right section. Wonder if anyone else has problems here.

1. Headstart day one (25th)
2. 516 hours
3. 110g in pure cash with a lot more from collectables.
4.Only have one 80.
5. Dungeons, Fractals for my money mostly.
6. Only MF I use is on my CM armor set.
7. I’ve only ever got 2 exotic drops
8. Probably 3 exotics from chests.
9. Probably looted about 5 so rares/exotics in a day.
10. Don’t ever expect to loot a rare to be honest.
11. 10 in all total lodestones probably. Sold them all though.
12. 400 Leatherworker only.
13. I keep all my crafting materials in case I ever want to level up a crafting profession.
14. 516 hours for $60? I think it was well worth it for me personally.
15. Dimishing returns honestly. Needing 250 of each t6 mat to make your legendary with a dimishing return in place makes it even harder.

A problem similar to this one is affecting Dailys. There needs to be a common reset time that is not different for each server and is well known, i.e., midnight of the last day of a month, or, for Dailys, at midnight of each day. Less problems, less headache.

No. They reset at GMT+0 and that makes sense. It sucks for new players but oh well.

After the halloween event and how pissed people were I think they won’t put them in the BL chests again. Or at least make the drop somewhat high.

I would be interested in joining if you don’t mind a player that is only really into PvE content like dungeons and the like at the moment. I will do WvW eventually as I work my way towards my legendary.

As the topic states I am looking for a large active guild on the Yak’s Bend server. Mainly interested in PvE content but do wvw sometimes as well. Shoot me a mail/invite in game.

That would make sense and we can’t make sense in GW2.

It takes way to long for little rewards. From the torch part to the wave part to the hallway of explosions. That’s why many don’t run it. The final boss is fun though.
