Yup! That’s exactly why

Personally, I can’t wait for Rangers to try to do it with Quickness and Read the Wind, They’ll drop themselves in about a second and wonder why I’m running over to finish them off.

For a positive, Rapid Fire should be even more fun against Thieves, since they normally stop trying to dodge the moment they stealth for some reason (or wasted their evades, then entered stealth thinking it would save them). I’ve downed countless thieves just by letting Rapid Fire auto-track them.

Retaliation is manageable, but watch out if a Reflect gets thrown your way though. I imagine that a lot of players are going to end up downing themselves because they used Rapid Fire and didn’t pay attention.

Not paying attention gets you killed regardless of class to be fair

Yeah, but Rangers do it way too often compared to others for some reason. I’ve killed my share of Rangers by using Whirling Defense. Other professions….not so much.

Bria revisited, kind of insulting (spoilers)

Chrispy.5641

Insulted? Seriously?

You probably played several hundreds of hours, had fun, did tons of stuff and one quest that was bugged (and now “recycled”) insults you?
I guess it’s true what they say, people always focus on the one thing that’s broken and forget the rest.

I would make a joke about how anything can insult anyone, but it will end up insulting someone (even though that will prove my point…..), so in the interest of not getting reported/infracted twice in a week…..

Seriously, what’s wrong with ‘recycled’ places/world events? I bet that a vast majority of players have never even played those specific events before. I only played the Frostgorge event once since the game came out, and only once again this week. I’ve only played the Bria event twice as well. Sucked that it was broken so long, but hardly insulting.

It was a good way to get people back out there, playing dead events that no one cared about. In this update. there were still a few new good instances and a pretty good boss battle at the end of one of them. There was also a whole lot of story.

Open World Portions of story are bad

Chrispy.5641

I have no problem with the Open World Events inside the story. It gives you the sense that there is a larger world moving around you and its not just you running around. I am a little worried about the event scaling in the Iron Marches, but the events everywhere else are quite easy to do alone. I have soloed the event chain in Frostgorge Sound before, and its kind of easy when there’s only 3-5 veterans instead of 3-5 champions scaled to 100+ players. Those 4-5 vigil guys are still useless because they aren’t even half as strong as a regular player, but its still doable with 1 person.

I also have no problem with the single player focused instances. It gives you a chance to breath and play the game for awhile instead of pressing 1 to win, like in those open world events. And besides, wasn’t the game heavily advertised with a single player only personal story, something that is so rarely done in MMO’s? Why would they get rid of that? Its one of the reasons that many people bought this game.

It took everything that was good about Lord of the Rings, removed everything that was good about Lord of the Rings, mixed equal parts boring politics and extremely descriptive sex drive, then threw dragons in there to claim it was still fantasy.

Are you saying it needs more Bible fan fiction in it’s lore ? ;p

GoT/ASOIAF might not be what you like in a book or TV show, but that’s why there are many different ones out there (it’s not my favourite series, and I’m not really a fan of the “fantasy” elements in it, but it IS “Fantasy” even if you personally don’t like what elements of storytelling the series focuses on). And since I’ve been reading Fantasy since I was a kid, it’s nice to have a series that does it a bit differently even if I don’t think it’s always successful in everything it’s trying to do.

And, really, GW2 is not going to stop having ridiculous things to wear in it, I don’t think that’s an issue here at all. GW2 is more like Discworld than GoT or LotR. Lord of the Rings is itself pretty light on actual magic. LotR certainly did not have and would never have had anything like Holographic Dragon Wings. Even when LotR used “magic” or “mythical elements” they were presented in a very natural way. I mean, we can now turn into furniture, Douglas Adams would be proud. GW2 is very, very far from the very serious approach that LotR took. And that’s not a bad thing, either in the same way it’s not a bad thing that GoT didn’t do the same things LotR did. If everything took the same approach using the same methods that would be really quite boring.

Really, you have nothing to worry about. This is a game where one of the Legendary Weapons is a disco ball for heaven’s sake, there’s no reason to worry it’s going to become too realistic.

That post was just some commentary on what I think of Game of Thrones (as compared to its polar opposite in almost every way) and I was just answering someone who somewhat wants to drop the silliness and make Tyria to be a hyper realistic setting based 99.9% on history like Weteros is. I never said I didn’t like it. The point is, is that Westeros is a very different sort of fictional world than Tyria is, and neither are the same sort of world that Middle Earth is.

Those wings are one of the most silly looking crap items in this game. Looks totally stupid, unrealistic, too fancy, boring, crappy etc. Just imagine a Game of Thrones Character running around with holographic Dragon Wings, WTF? Never understood this hype about those items. But maybe it’s about the underaged manga-bulgy-eyes community.

That, would, be…..AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I can’t make enough exclamation points to emphasize how awesome it would be) Game of Thrones is way too boring, drab, political, realistic, and historical!!! It took everything that was good about Lord of the Rings, removed everything that was good about Lord of the Rings, mixed equal parts boring politics and extremely descriptive sex drive, then threw dragons in there to claim it was still fantasy.

Holographic Dragon wings appearing on a character or two out of thousands would make it slightly less annoying when a character you read less than a sentence about a hundred pages before seem slightly more memorable.

I have to snort at the fantasy defense. Big, ugly, stupid, impractical, campy nonsense weapons are a design choice that has nothing to do with the genre called “fantasy”.

I’m not sure that a Fantasy game is the right fit for you if you are unable to suspend your disbelief long enough that there can be a sword made of separate crystal fragments held together by magic, in a game world that is literally overflowing with the stuff.

Until Anet introduces a giant fish and I can swing around as a greatsword, I’m going to keep using the fantasy defense.

The problem with the camera/viewpoint/etc. in a 3D game that you can control is that you can control it. Its difficult to make a perfect camera system without just giving the player unlimited access, allowing you to see scenery from angles that makes it look like a buggy mess or showing massive clipping issues.

Personally I think that 3D games with a fixed camera that you have no control over are actually darn near perfect (god of war for example), though they are horrible for a game like Guild Wars. It keeps all the action front and centered, and there is no chance for it to betray you at the worst possible times, or at any time in general. ((Like this game for example, which some people have already pointed out has a big problem with invisible walls. Even small rocks and environmental scenery can prevent you from moving the camera properly, causing it to suddenly zoom in and out when there is no reason to. Its not a bad camera, but its not anything amazing either. And….most MMO’s have this problem.))

Good heavens are people always trying to suppress someone else all the time? Some people want more realistic weapons, myself included and there are people crying about it? Why? It’s obvious up close what most people are using or by animations. It’s a stupid argument and the worst part is there is a ton of huge, fat swords and goofy looking stuff in game already. Let people have some realistic look skins or katanas or whatever. The last few weaponsets have been nothing but gaudy stuff so you anti-realistic weapon weirdos can be happy.

You don’t get it. You’re still lumping size with realistic design. I already showed why a realistically designed sword would be a bad idea if it was the same size as a realistic sword. This game’s visual style doesn’t allow for it. Even the most reasonable swords are monstrous in size by comparison.

That the weapons are too big, as in that onehanded swords have the size of longswords in real – I don’t mind. The weapons would be very small otherwise, and hardly visible for even yourself. For me being realistic and looking realistic can be seperated. Is Bonetti’s Rapier realistic? No. As others pointed out it’s too long. But does it look realistic? It does imo. It’s sleek and not over the top. It looks like an actual weapon.

someone here does get it.

Well after 5,022 hours on ranger and this is all ranger gets? is the buffs to the same kitten weapons they have been buffing for a about a year. No love to traps? no love to shortbow? No active stability that isnt on a huge recharge? Guess its time to hang up this silly game

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Signet_of_the_Wild
5k hours on ranger and you somehow didn’t realize that Signet of the Wild gives your pet 8 seconds of stability on activation?

Seriously though, this one signet will be the one icon every ranger will have on his buff bar. Massive damage/movement speed increase, regeneration, stability. On a 60 second cooldown. Amazing for one utility slot.

In Casey’s defense, he did say “that isn’t on a huge recharge”. Some people would consider 60 seconds a huge recharge since a lot of stuff can happen during that cooldown (and he was probably referring to this signet, but also Rampage as One, on its 120 second cooldown). I’m not saying that I agree that the changes are all lackluster like he did, and he did say a lot of stupid things in this thread, but you did just say something pretty freaking stupid too by posting this before reading the whole thing.

I put together a quick image showing the unrealistic size of swords and daggers in this game. I compared the Mithril sword and ebon vanguard dagger to an actual sword.

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Ebon_Vanguard_Dagger.jpg
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Mithril_Sword.jpg

The actual sword is a mostly accurate replica of an arming sword. Not sure of which time period, but probably late medieval/early renaissance (probably early renaissance because of the detailed cross guard). 35"(90cm) total length, 28"(71cm) blade length. If you look really close, you can see the words ::

Stainless Steel
Made in Pakistan

That is totally not the point though!!! the point is that I needed a very basic sword to get a size comparison that had a straight blade. The black area of the handle on the replica is roughly the size of my hand (about 3.25"(8.5cm) across). I copied pictures of the Dagger and Sword and up-scaled them until they fit in the relative area (inside the green lines), and that the hand gripping the hilts (as seen in the screenshots) were the same size as my hand would be if I was holding the sword/dagger in real life.

I honestly wasn’t expecting the Ebon Vanguard Dagger to be almost as big as the real world sword is. Its like 30"+ total in length, and it looks like a reasonably sized dagger in the game, at least compared to the sizes of the swords.

The Mithril Sword is the correct size of a longsword, also known by a name that would get censored if I typed it in the forums (hand and a half sword or kitten Sword…see?). Its actually the same size as a Real world Claymore. Its total length is over 50"(127cm) and if it were ripped out of the game and weighed, it would probably weigh 5-6lbs. They were designed for both 1 and 2 handed use, depending on the actual fighting style and strength of the user. You could swing it around with one hand if you really wanted to, but because of the weight, you would probably hurt yourself.

Both the Mithril Sword and the Replica sword are correct in size, the difference is that one was made to be used by One or Two hands(mostly 2 hands) and the other wasn’t. The dagger just isn’t realistic at all, as its the same size as a one handed sword like the replica shown.

Now, probably none of you needed that lesson at all, but think of it like this…..Looking at your computer screen from about 2 feet away (and looking at the screenshot as presented in this post, not on a separate page), you should still be able to tell that that Sword is a Mithril Sword, and that dagger is an Ebon Vanguard Dagger. Looking at the realistic sized sword, you can’t even see the detail in the hilt until you clicked on the image and saw a much larger version.

I actually wouldn’t mind seeing a more detailed sword like the one I showed. The pistols and rifles in the game show a time period approaching colonial times in the real world, but the melee weapons mostly look completely locked in the dark ages. Its going to be the same size as the Mithril sword just to see any detail, even up close, and it would in fact be unrealistically large, otherwise it would be the same size as the daggers in the game.

That’s why I am saying that you won’t see realistic swords in Guild Wars 2 (in size). If you want them to be realistic in form, then they can’t be realistic in size. They will look bigger than they are supposed to, and that’s not really such a bad thing (lets you see all the details!).

It might help if you read, even if the post isn’t directed towards you.

And here we are again with the thinly veiled personal attacks.

Suggesting that you read the thread is a personal attack? Might I suggest that you take a deep breath man. Not everyone is out to get you. And this is not a thinly veiled personal attack on your mind’s health or anything.

Also….

1 – So, you want more daggers?

2 – speaking of daggers, Could you show me a good sword weapon in Gw2 that isn’t a dagger. all 3 examples from this game that you showed me were daggers. Those are supposed to be smaller than swords, and in all the examples you showed me, those daggers are quite large for daggers, and most daggers in this game might as well be considered short swords.

3 – Looks are subjective, and maybe there is a subjective reason for many daggers being so large in this game and that swords are made even larger to compensate. (and if you read my posts in this thread, you would have found out that my favorite weapon skins in the game are the Mithril sword and greatsword. Like I said. Read the thread.)

4 – I actually meant in an earlier post that Form over Function and Function over Form are both meaningless in a Fantasy game.

Guys, enough with this “it’s a fantasy game, keep realistic stuff out of this”. Stop abusing the term “fantasy”.

Do you know The Lord of the Rings? Yes. Is it Fantasy? Of course. Do people in LotR wield stuff like this?
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Crystal_Guardian.jpg
Hell no!

Are you talking about the movies or the books? It doesn’t really matter, considering that almost every weapon in the stories had some otherworldly quality or other because they were forged with magic (eh heh….sorry, totally physical weapon smith skills that no longer exist. Magic had (almost) nothing to do with most of them), or exotic metals like Mithril. Sure, they might ‘look’ like weapons ripped straight out of history , but because of the qualities of the weapons, and the mythical things they could do, the characters in Lord of the Rings (and the Hobbit, and Silmarillion) may as well have wielded weapons like the crystal guardian.

and weapons out of history is debatable because most of the weapons in that story are never fully described. We don’t actually know what they look like. The talking meteor sword from outer space, Gurthang, may as well have been a unrealistically curved sword whose black metal edges were literally on fire. ((Oh look, I also used the Fantasy argument again…))

I’m not sure if that’s going to change, because if it does, the Forest spider will be pretty much useless, as its F2 only applies poison, that most of your weapons can do (and other spiders can do with one of their abilities anyways)

I was under the impression that it already was.

You had an extra quote box in there. Now everyone can see your post!

The extra poison from the F2 is kind of pointless in almost all cases (and should be replaced with something useful), but it didn’t stop me from experimenting with the forest spider in an old build, only because of the extra cripple. I experimented with having the spider attack, then putting it on passive until the enemy was no longer crippled, then had it attack again. I was saving up those cripples and poisons for when the enemy didn’t have those conditions on them.

It had its uses, mainly for freaking WvW players out when they kept getting cripple after cripple (and poison after poison!), no matter how many times they cleared it. Made individual kills rather easy.

Bear F2’s can be blocked now. Kind of needed to happen though.

Entangle cooldown was reduced by 60%, but skill effect was reduced by 75%.

Just wanted to throw that out there.

It’s a nerf and a buff. The other side of the buff is that on top of the recharge speed, traited, we now have a 48 second recharge elite that allows us to interact with the “on elite” runesets, which is a HUGE bonus.

HAHAHA yea. Rune of sunless will be a good alternative to rune of the nightmare now. 3-4s fear every 48s, you’re gonna stack an insane amount of bleeds from shortbow AA flank.

Also, does that mean Eagle Eye and Read the Wind damage modifiers stack? Thats crazy!

Question about Intimidation Training: Will this be an AoE cripple or will it depend on the pet?

So far its depended on the pet. Canines were always an AoE cripple, but Spiders were single target, and their cripple stacked depending on how many stacks their F2 ability was. The Forest Spider is currently able to get 3 stacks 15-22.5 seconds of cripple (as well as their standard poison) if you take that trait, while the Jungle Spider/Black Widow can only stack 5-7.5 seconds (as well as their standard immobilize).

I’m not sure if that’s going to change, because if it does, the Forest spider will be pretty much useless, as its F2 only applies poison, that most of your weapons can do (and other spiders can do with one of their abilities anyways)

Then again. This is a fantasy game. Nothing has to be the perfect realistic design to be functional

You are correct, it doesn`t have to be realistic looking. Doesn`t mean they aren`t allowed to be realistic looking.

We are merely asking for weapons we like, not for weapons someone might like/recognize from afar. And that`s all we are asking for: more skins on the other side of the spectrum.

It seems like you don`t want this to happen. Why? What is there to gain from preventing more options for other people? I`m truly curious as to why.

I already answered your question, and explain several of the issues present in designing small, no detail weapons. I have explained it from a design perspective, From an ‘easy recognition’ perspective, from an egotistical MMO “I want to Look cooler than you” perspective, and from a ‘form over function and function over form’ perspective. I see no point in repeating anything I have said. It might help if you read, even if the post isn’t directed towards you.

Yeah….you have no idea what I posted, do you? From my first post in this thread, I pointed out that a possible reason that many weapons were designed to look larger than realistic sized was because this is a multiplayer game and it made sense for the weapons to look big, and slightly unrealistic.

The coment that I made at the top of this page was made on the assumption that you read this whole thread, and knew what I had posted earlier, but obviously you don’t care about that. In the next post after that, I said that there is no point in designing a bunch of similar looking weapons because it would be a waste of time, I posted that on the assumption that you and everyone else read the whole thread. You ignored that too.

Seriously, ever heard of editing posts instead of posting 2-3-4 times in a row? You still failed to answer that, which just supports my statement again, that you don’t like reading. There are posts of people complaining about those big, ugly looking weapons and not just asking for more elegant looking ones. A good example is this post I am about to reply to.

But a lot of you have a problem with a “realistic” look of them. There is already bezillion weps that look nothing special and dull. If you want realistic approach we’d have only weapons like

http://sbg-sword-store.sword-buyers-guide.com/media/Valiant/cf408.jpg

You need only look at the swords in GW1 to know that that isn’t true. Realism and esthetics do not cancel each other out.

I want them to look GOOD, not realistic :L

Realistic == good looking weapons

They tend to look bad when they are designed by people who don’t understand weapons. That is when we get carts with square wheels, swords that are unwieldable and cannot kill anyone, and bows that cannot fire arrows.

You do know that Bonetti’s Rapier isn’t a realistic weapon for this game, right? The Blade is about a foot too long, and the handle looks like it was made for two hands (or a big fat charr hand). Either way, the unrealistic length of the blade (when compared to a Human/Norn/Sylvari character) would throw the entire thing off balance, and get you killed just as fast as any other unrealistic weapon in this game. It would be great for parrying and stabbing, you know, actual rapier stuff (in which case, the blade length would be right, but the thickness of the blade…..yeah….once any weapon heavier than itself clashed with it, its done. also, don’t forget the handle length compared to human characters would still be horrible unbalanced). almost all sword attacks in this game are of the slashing variety, something that rapiers aren’t good at doing, unless you are fighting something composed of only flesh. The moment it clashes with armor (or thick Drake scales, or anything else thicker than skin), it would be rendered just as useless as any ‘unrealistic’ weapon in this game.

Then again. This is a fantasy game. Nothing has to be the perfect realistic design to be functional, since a chainsaw swings just as effectively as what is essentially Glass
They just need to look good, and big enough to look unique and distinguishable from other weapons of the same type (….otherwise, again, what would even be the point of making them if they all look the same on a computer screen?)

I was considering getting the Ley Line focus because its the first non pink glowy focus which goes relatively well with infinite light. Unfortunately its too big so i have changed my mind. It would be perfect if it was half the size. They dont need to be huge to look nice anet!

They need to be huge to look nice from more than 5 feet away.

We usually watch our characters quite close so no need to be huge.

Keyword. You usually watch your characters quite close. That’s all good, but what about the million other players who play this game. When I’m playing a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE ROLE PLAYING GAME, I like to see what other characters have equipped by a quick glance or look at them and if larger weapons get that job done, then it should stay that way.

I don’t exactly like your idea of squinting for ten seconds to see if that small sword at the character’s side is a Spanish style Rapier with a Cup hilt, or an Italian style Rapier with a Swept hilt, only to find that after five more seconds of squinting that its just a simple arming sword from an earlier period. yeah, that sounds really interesting, but….No!

- Realistic is fine, but the weapon has to be big enough to notice the individual details, otherwise it will get lost and look the exact same as every other weapon made the same size. At that point, what is the point in wasting resources to make a bunch of swords that all look the same?

This is going to sound terrible but I personally do not care what others can see. I care about what I can see of my Character.

That doesn’t sound terrible at all, Teofa. Please remember that when you purchased the game you didn’t do it to play by other players rules or expectations, only your own. You are within your rights to want this. Its not like you’re asking for a shield with a giant hand flipping everyone the bird on it and then you’re saying you “don’t care what others do or do not see on your character”.

Personally my characters are not in game for other people’s amusement and/or inspection. They are there for ME.

So…..Guild Wars 2 is a single player game now?

Through all the shiny changed There was actually a dirty nerf or two….

Bear F2’s can be blocked now. Kind of needed to happen though.

Entangle cooldown was reduced by 60%, but skill effect was reduced by 75%.

Just wanted to throw that out there.

nevertheless the skill effect never lasts so Long as in description. The vines can be destroyed fast and with condi cleanse u could get out of them.
So i think in effect it is more a buff right?

And what i throw out here is that entangle can have a cd from 48s with the Adept trait for it. Rangers will have the ability to use runes like Lyssa

Just wanted to throw out there that we still lost some stuff. Not everything was a shiny, “Ranger’s are God Mode!” hyper buff.

I’m geeked about the new trait (which is indirectly a 10% buff to sword damage). And I’m finally intrigued by axe as a main hand ranged option (I had already started to come around on its off-hand viability).

Power builds definitely got some love today.

What about Condition Builds? My Rabid/Trap build will be peaking at around 3000 Condition Damage if I keep using Mainhand axe when this balance stuff hits.

(New) Rapid Fire + Quickening Zephyr + Read the Wind = ???

Would that cause the RF to complete in 1 second? Also signet actives now affecting us, that is absolutely terrifying. 1 second RF for like 26k damage?

Edit: I have no idea to how to do math. The skill would complete 60% faster, 60% of 2.5 is 1.5, so it completes in 1 second? Correct?

My horrible math came up to 1.125 seconds. (2.5 × 0.9 × 0.5)

Axe change also gives us another way to stack a lot of might on the pet through fortifying bond. Any might copied to the pet lasts for 10 seconds(+ boon duration) regardless of how long it lasts on us, meaning that your pet can hit 25 might in seconds, even without the need for that companion’s might trait in skirmishing.

Also, not too many people are mentioning the pet trait changes in any thread. Those are actually pretty huge.

In Guild Wars 2, Rangers ARE ‘unparalleled’ archers though. No other profession can u"s"e both shortbow and longbow, nor can they trait/modify their bows to the extent that a Ranger can. “Rangers are unparalleled archers” does not equal “Rangers can do 100 Blades from 1500 range”. It’s not just a Ranger. It is the Ranger/Pet, a duality that must be played as such to be most effective. That’s not going to change and it shouldn’t IMO. This “give us back our 30% damage” demand is completely ridiculous. Anet NEVER ‘took away’ any damage from the Ranger; the damage split has been like that since launch so idk why anyone (2 years later) would be acting surprised/upset like this just happened last week. Yes, the AI could be improved quite a bit, like pet skill usage or being able to attack while moving, but demanding the devs completely overhaul their game just seems crazy to me.

The problem, then, is that archery (and ranged options in general) are poorly implemented compared to melee. When your opponent can dodge forward then swoop/shadow step 1000+ range instantly, ranged needs better damage to compensate. They already lack most of the defensive/control options available on melee weapons, and the only reason ranged weapons traditionally do less damage is because they’re supposed to be safer. Given how much mobility and projectile reflect/destroy/evade are available, ranged damage is far too low. Range is only an advantage if you can keep your enemy away from you.

Of course, this assumes that rangers’ bows are as powerful as the ranged weapons of other classes. I don’t know if they are, but if not then this needs to be addressed. I know that rangers have far more limiting trait options than other classes, though, and that their condition removal is nothing short of pathetic.

I agree with everything in this post as well. The problem is that some professions/weapon combinations have no gap closers, meaning that the if the longbow were balanced only to compensate for the combos that have gap closers, it would send the Longbow far over the top and unbalance everything as a result. I’m not saying the current state of Ranged weapons are Balanced, but neither are most alternatives.

More slick and elegant weapon skins please!

Just letting you guys know I’m still reading and taking notes, but I’ve taken a backseat position since I haven’t been spending much time away from the Destiny Beta on my 360. Will be more visible on the thread again after the 27th when I have to quit the cocaine that is Bungie’s Destiny cold turkey.

Off Topic : I prefer to call Destiny ‘Final Call of Gears of Halo Reaching Borderlands/Singularity Zone of War Fall 3.5’

I’ve been told it rips off almost every FPS ever made, but does it all in the most perfect way.

On topic : Honestly there are two major things with pets that if fixed, could be a massive change to the Ranger and might solve most of our problems…

1. Pets should attack and move at the same time so they can hit moving targets.
2. All Pet F2’s should track moving targets just like how the Lynx’s F2 can track targets.

Okay good to know
Do u already have a build for zealot?
And do somebody know if the two life steal effects of the runes of vamp and scavenge work together?

Still working on Zealot.

And no, the 2nd effect two life steals do not stack. Those two runes 2nd and 4th effect all give you the same effect when triggered. The 2nd and 4th effects do not share the same cooldowns with each other, but because they share the same effect, they cannot stack. Its also the same effect that triggers on weapon swap with Sigil of Leeching, and therefore, cannot stack with that either.

I’m not sure if its an oversight, a bug, or if Anet is trying to prevent people from getting too much healing.
