(sarcasm) Horrible Guide! Where’s the Bearbows, obviously the greatest PVE combination in the history of Earth, Tyria, and Asgard! And what about Shortbow? You couldn’t even put a footnote in there about how AMAZING it is?

1/10, would not recommend to anyone. (/sarcasm)

Also, can’t we nominate better guides to be sticky-ed….not that Ranger forums has any good guides (almost all of them suck), but look at some guides from other forums :::

Just having a sticky in each forum that goes over the key points in each aspect of the game, with updates on progress if there is any, is fine by me. I don’t care about timeframes, whether it will ever be in the game, or any of that stuff.

If I can see a sticky in the Ranger sub forum that has key discussion points involving/tracking the major issues and future of the profession, that’s fine by me.

It goes without saying, if you do set all this up, please don’t forget the profession sub forums!

ANet chooses, because then that will give the player base some idea of what’s important to the company.
Then they’ll have some feeling that CDIs are going in a direction.

This. But don’t pick such massive open ended topics that we get a thread with 5,000 replies and all of them talk about something slightly different, but related to the topic. The topic needs to be very concentrated.

I love the survey idea, but I don’t know if it would be feasible to implement right away. I say Anet chooses for the first one, and then hopefully can get a survey in the game later on if that’s feasible, I’d just as soon start with something they’re planning on addressing anyway.

Even if the topic is something that we’re not as crazy about, I’d rather provide input on something they’re working on than something they’ll work on down the road.

They can’t tell us what they want to work on down the road (at least two other topics in general discussion are ongoing about that right now), so its not like anything else really matters right now except for stuff they want to address (and let us know about).

soo…….yeah….

1. Anet chooses.

What are devs working on ?

The simple answer is: unless it’s nearing completion, we cannot talk about it. You can read Mo’s post titled “communicating with you” which covers in detail how we’ve been asked to message as of about a year ago in relation to what is in development.

Since we can’t share a road map of what they’re doing per our company policy, all I can answer is I hope when we’re able to show you what all we’ve been doing in total someday in the future – you’re as excited as we are about it.

right now with the current policy, I just plain feel strung along, like an Apple customer, never told about what the next, latest and greatest phone or thing is going to be. Apple will reveal the phone to the world and tell me (some of) the new features half a month before release date, then expect me to get excited for something I know almost nothing about. Some of the features seem a bit sketchy, but our feedback isn’t going to matter because a month isn’t enough time to change anything in the software/hardware world. No one’s feedback it going to agree with each other either.

If this was always the company policy, Would we have instead heard about the game getting announced at the beginning of 2012, get blasted all at once what features it has, then somehow we’re expected to get excited for an April beta weekend event for a game we heard and know almost nothing about? I can’t get excited about that, not unless I want to turn my brain off and set my expectations to zero, which I’m not going to do. It definitely wouldn’t have been the same.

People whining about whiners….How original.

Guess I’ll give my opinion and whine too, in the form of a game to game comparison, even though white knights really, really, really hate it when people do that.

Final Fantasy XIV is like Guild Wars 2 in almost every way. We get regular free updates that adds so much stuff, it makes other MMO’s absolutely pathetic by comparison. The Difference is that one of these games has a confirmed Expansion, confirmed new Classes, confirmed updates to existing classes (not including balance), as well as originally Confirmed(and already implemented) housing. The other game has almost no confirmed future content, and has a unique nature that makes people feel like the Devs are chasing us around a bush with a really big stick until we pass out and forget what questions we were asking.

You mean it has no trinity and it’s got no raids?

That’s another difference, yeah….Though GW2 does have a different sort of Raid in the form of Tequatl. It requires a lot of preparation and almost perfect execution, just like a raid. Raids are not defined as private instances (though a lot of people that complain about the lack of raids in this game define it as such)

And also, The Lack of a Trinity is probably GW2’s strongest aspect…but it does take away a lot of gameplay options, because even if other choices exist, all that matters in a game like this is damage, damage, killing, and more damage. Nothing will ever change that either because of how the game is designed.

@Thread…whatever. Every game has people who complain about everything, and these forums aren’t anywhere near as bad as what you see in other games. Even if we don’t always(if ever) get a yes or no answer, at least Arenanet is communicating with us almost on a daily basis. I can say the same thing about maybe two other game companies, and that’s not a number the gaming industry should be proud of….

About that blix exploit....

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Chrispy.5641

Chrispy.5641

Players should play the game the way they want. If you want to farm you have that “right” if you’d rather farm and not run temple events its your choice to force people to do this is just as bad as people abusing an exploit of letting an event fail just to reset. ANET fixed the problem the problem was not the farming but exploiting the reset timer. If some items become more abundant then other thats called an open market. Some items will lose value because of farming but others will gain value just the same.

Yes, yes they should. Thank you for pointing that incredibly obvious sentiment out.

Do you know what “the way they want” normally constitutes? Rarely does it have anything to do with fun or content. The average player is rewards-driven, and it isn’t necessarily an unreasonable philosophy to have on the game. Obtaining a desired carrot, after all, makes any content you do actually want to play afterward more fun in having it.

But the nature of this reality also destroys the argument that “play how you want to play” factors in to nerfing farming. Farmers do not care about playing the way they desire in the short term. In fact, they aren’t playing the way they want to play but rather the way that will get them what they want.

That’s an important distinction, and it’s one that should not be ignored when considering the effects of rewards distribution and farming nerfs.

The only way to make play how you want and play for what you want line up into a single cohesive style is to distribute rewards in such a way that they are comparable enough to not make heavy differences in income between any two activities. That’s an almost impossible task, but it’s one that must always be strove for if “play your way” is to become a reality rather than a fiction. Otherwise “play your way” will always lose out to “play the way the pays.”

Ah, there we go! Now this sounds like two intelligent people have a conversation. Problem is, now it sounds like you two are arguing almost the exact same point.

Communicating with you

Chrispy.5641

@anyone/everyone

I just want more definitive responses when a Dev speaks to us. I don’t care if its only a yes or no answer. Its way easier to say you aren’t working on Precursor Crafting at this time and leave it at that, than it is to say no then go off on a tangent trying to take the middle ground about how much you would like to work on it, the community wants it, you are listening to us, etc. blah, blah, blah (I am referring to pretty much every Anet interview for the last year that had precursor crafting as a question).

I mean, seriously, lets say I ask an employee at Anet (at Pax Prime or whatever next time you make an appearance) if they are going to add new elite skills to the game in the near future (lets say six months), I would prefer that they just say no. Just plain ‘no’, instead of spending five minutes talking about how they have ideas for it, how they want to work on it, how they are doing this and that, but they are busy on something else, but its a distinct possibility, though it might not be, but it could be, and end up at a point where their original “no” answer turned into “I don’t Know”

Just say no without dressing the answer up in pounds and pounds of fat. We ask about playable Largos race, just say ‘not at this time’. Subclasses? just say “not at this time”. New Ranger pets? just say “Not at this time”. New Legendaries? just say “not at this time”. don’t go into details about how you want to do it, how you might be planning it, or how its some sort of possibility that depends on the stars aligning and the Favor of the NCsoft gods being with you next month…., because that strings us the players along just as much as a false confirmation.

I don’t understand all the hubbub about SAB. Yes I miss it too, but at best it should be a mini-game within GW2 as opposed to being at all tied into the LS. To be seeing it as some integral part of the game seems disingenuous to what GW2 actually is. If anything, it was a fun April Fools update.

So what is Guild Wars 2, actually?

Its not about Guild Wars, since the name is based off of an in game event that entirely took place even before the 1st game’s timeline.

Its not exactly about Elder Dragons. While people were complaining that season 1 wasn’t about the elder dragons, they were entirely right. It only became about Elder Dragons at the very end of the season based on a year of negative player feedback. Half of the Personal Story has nothing to do with the Elder Dragons, and neither does a vast majority of the events you do in the game world.

GW2 seems to be more about Tyria as a whole than a single story thread. This is truer than the Elder Dragon argument because we can go participate in a lot of things that have nothing to do with the Elder Dragons in any way. Since that’s the case, Super Adventure Box is just as integral to Guild Wars 2 as the Elder Dragons are, regardless of whether you believe it was only supposed to be an april fools joke or not.

My honest opinion on the whole thing :::

I don’t care much for SAB (not a fan of jumping games in general), but I do care for Precursor crafting and Tengu, and I was somewhat, disturbed, by the answers given in that interview, because they are the exact same answers that we heard six months ago, nine months ago, and a year ago.

Every single thing that was asked about was met with a “can’t say” type of answer. There was no definitive ‘yes’ or ‘no’, and while I understand Anet’s unwillingness to say either because of the precursor crafting flub that’s been going on for a year now, their unwillingness to give a yes or no answer made that video a very painful 18 minute waste of my time.

I already knew going into watching the video and reading the article that their trademark answer to any and every question is :: “We can’t say at this time.” or “I don’t know.”, but I watched it anyways in the hope that maybe they would confirm something….anything that fans have asked for.

…..nope. What a fool I was.

Ranger balance: buff -> QQ -> nerf?

That’s from July 30th…. 2 weeks ago. Are you guys even reading the same page???
I swear everytime I come here, it’s like talking to people who only play Ranger in their imaginations and couldn’t even begin to understand why the vast majority of players quit playing it in the first place….

Don’t get me wrong… those are some cute little buffs I guess, Sic’em & the might-stacking especially. But it’s not the same thing. It’s not a new segment and it did not focus on “base functionality and responsiveness.”. IE: stuff affecting the mainhand sword

There’s 8 professions, so its unlikely that Ranger will get the spotlight again until the next balance….feature….expansion…..bloat…..patch…whatever anet calls it now. And if the sword was going to change, they probably would have said something about it 2 weeks ago. That’s why people brought up the previous stream where Rangers were featured.

The only way we’ll see rangers featured again before september 9th is if the feature pack has some new skills, weapons, pets….anything for the Ranger, and considering Anet’s record of adding new stuff to the game, not likely to happen.

Chrispy.5641

So how much are people willing to bet that when the balance patch goes live other professions are going to QQ like mad about Rangers until they force the devs to nerf or remove the buffs?

Like a jealous sibling on christmas day…. “No mummy if I can’t have it then he can’t either!”

I say….nope. Look at some of the changes, and see what they really mean.

Rapid fire for example. It shoots twice as fast now, and it appears like we have a burst skill, but, it just makes it much easier to reflect all damage back to source. Its also easier to dodge more of the attacks now than before. It will still be a hard hitting skill if timed right (and should pretty much down anything if you catch them off guard). The problem is that a lot of Rangers don’t know when to stop attacking at range, and don’t realize that a majority of the damage they just took was because of reflected arrows.

It looks like a buff to some people. To everyone else who took two seconds to think about it instead of “OMG, Ranger BUFF!!!!!”, its not really a big change at all.

And what’s the point of walking up a mountain if there’s nothing there of any value? That’s the problem that WoW had, way too much land with nothing to do in it. Guild Wars 2 doesn’t have that problem, anywhere you go, there is something to do. Exploration is about a lot more than just spending along time traveling across a lot of land.

You’re obviously not an explorer.

For the explorer, the reward is just getting there.

And you think you are? Exploration is a heck of a lot more than an empty journey to a predetermined destination.

Play through a zone without following hearts/poi/vista/WP. Just randomly moving around, following NPC, following a little trail and the game will become more interesting.

Some zones are full of places most players have never ventured into. A lot of time, with nothing really special in there aside from “huh I never knew that there was a hole in that wall that lead here”.

But some Vistas are terrible. Some do show you the way to a JP, but a lot show you nothing too special.

If you are hoping to get rewarded for exploring, give up now. But if you really want to explore, buy a lot of experimental rifles because it helps you reach so many new places.

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Experimental_rifle

If your idea of exploration is breaking the boundaries of the map, good for you, but that’s not really exploration.

Chrispy.5641

Fact is, They exist, and you can keep track of the POI’s and Vistas in this game. Not only that, but POI’s and Vistas are all unique locations, and pretty much every single POI looks different and has a unique piece of architecture or something. Its the same for Jumping puzzles. JP’s offer achievement points, and Vistas offer a unique cutscene showing off the scenery. They also count towards world completion, and by extension, legendary weapon progress.

Even if we get the ability to go to the top of every mountain in shiverpeaks, and every single mountain has both a vista and POI to motivate players to go up there, there is no distinguishing feature to separate them. The first mountaintop will look the exact same as the next five mountain tops. This means that there would be no value in putting a POI or Vista at the top of any mountain.

That’s a bunch of useless, wasted, empty space that has no purpose other than just existing. And that’s the problem that WoW had, hundreds of square miles of the exact same, boring looking terrain with nothing in it.

What’s with the constant comparisons to WoW? The closest game that can compare (as far as very highly detailed instanced zones go) is the Secret World, and that game world is miniscule compared to Tyria.

Again – I only meant to compare it in size – Azeroth is bigger, so there’s more to explore.

While Azeroth is bigger and there’s more landmass to explore, there’s less in it overall. Its like comparing the United States (of America…..not Mexico) and Russian land masses as game worlds, and we are equating game content with people. Russia is obviously the bigger country and it will take longer to fully explore it, but the United States has more people in it, and therefore more stuff to do.

None of the fighting styles in the game are really that realistic either, so why should we have realistically sized weapons to go with an unrealistic fighting style?

Why not? Some people would like it, and it doesn’t take anything away from people who like the oversized weapons (and jumbo shoulders that float in the air, and gauntlets that dwarf a hockey goalie’s equipment).

Because the size of greatswords makes it easily recognizable. It makes you understand that the Player/Profession you are playing against is using the greatsword weaponset, and you will time your skills and dodges accordingly. If they were swinging around a realistic smaller sized weapon, and if there were no increase in particle animations to compensate, it would be confusing to a lot of people who would no longer be able to immediately tell which profession/weapon combination they are actually fighting against until after they were already attacked several times. We have this problem already with Asura, which is why Anet is implanting the standard enemy models, but only for certain PvP modes, which means it will still be a problem in WvW.

Weapons are OVERSIZED

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Chrispy.5641

Chrispy.5641

If you want realistic sized weapons that you can realistically swing around in combat without hurting yourself, then the Greatswords will be about the size of the 1 hand Mithril Sword, which itself is the size of the average two handed Longsword from medieval times, and all 1 handed swords will be about the size of the daggers in this game.

The Mithril Greatsword in this game is roughly the size of a German two handed sword (Zweihander, etc.). The closest fighting style/animations in the game that can be used with a sword that large are probably female humans (and more specifically Rangers), because of how slow and methodical the animations look (except for Swoop). Otherwise, the weapon is too big and slow to be used effectively.

None of the fighting styles in the game are really that realistic either, so why should we have realistically sized weapons to go with an unrealistic fighting style?

also, While I appreciate that Medium armor lets me look like a cowboy, a pirate, and a ninja, there’s not really anything nature-ish or natural looking.

Strider armor is the closest we have since some of the textures look like wood and leaves, but someone had to go and ruin the whole set with the stupid blades on the shoulder pads, the mismatched normal mapping/shaders on the boots compared to the gloves and shoulders, and the ridiculous looking fishnet stuff on the legs, and the back of the chest piece. Its like the designer was working towards one idea that was legitimately involved with a nature-y theme, but then the boss man said that it has to look more ninja-y just for the sake of looking ninja-y.

300 gold for a tag color is too much

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

300 gold is perfectly justified for PvE commanders. There’s probably as many or more PvE commanders running around various maps and doing various high level events.

WvW needs to have a system where you can purchase these tags with badges instead of gold. Gold isn’t that easy to come by in that part of the game. It should be balanced with the PvE method so that someone who buys their tag in WvW can use it in PvE and the other way around. A number between 2-5k badges of honor is probably fair.

I was going to laugh, until I considered how many people in China play the game too. If you want a hint, its more than 3 million.

Hint, this isn’t china.
You think we going to ever close come to those numbers in EU/NA?
It’s a different publisher over there and they do a lot of things differently as well in GW2 china… of course its big there.. its freaking china lol, no doubt its more than 3million

Hint, it doesn’t matter.
China gets the same living world and content releases that we do (aside from the extra stuff the publisher does there). Anything that affects PvE/PvP/WvW here will also affect them there. That’s why China is important.

And here’s another hint since you don’t seem to get it yet.
Guild War 2 sold 3.5 million copies outside of China by August 2013, and had as many as 460,000 players on at the same time. That’s more than the concurrent player base at launch which sources say peaked at around 400,000.

The concurrent player base is not the same as active daily or monthly players, and its a safe bet to say that its considerably higher than that.

Most players aren’t even that good with this skill and wont notice the difference in the skill’s uptime, since most of the time, they can’t keep anyone tangled in the vines past 5 seconds anyways (mostly due to a failure to track opponent’s condition clears/equipped weapons).

who said the SAB is not going to come?

Feature patch = features

SAB = content

Content previews always occur on the Tuesday the week after the previous patch.

Wait until Tuesday to vent.

I am not exactly venting, kind sir. My tone should obviously be very calm, if you hadnt noticed. I am merely wondering what people think, because that is what happened last time a feature patch came out, too. an extended break with nothing new to play inbetween.

People on the internet misinterpret everything written as an insult or as someone raging/venting/trolling. I mean, seriously, you said ‘good sir’! There’s obviously some sort of ironic ulterior motive!

Also, It makes sense to see Super Adventure Box come back in two weeks, because it would mark about a year since the last time its been in the game. If we don’t see it announced next Tuesday (with its release on the 26th), then we’ll see a bunch of advertisements (articles) talking about the feature pack.

The feature pack is a release, so the earliest we could see anything would be on Sep 23, which will only give us time for 2 releases before we see the obligatory Halloween holiday release, which would give us time for 2 more releases before we see all of December and half of January reserved for that holiday related release.

so…yeah. Aug 26th (maybe Sep 23rd) or nothing for a really freaking long time is my guess.

Sigil if doom and not every prof/build will be good at everything.

….

What about the professions that have no access to poison?

This isn’t a single-player game. You’re not supposed to fight 1v1, the very underlying game mechanics are trying to push you to at least fight 2v2.

Also, Guardian healing just plain isn’t thaaaaat strong. Their support is, but again, that’s something for groups and… well… you know… kinda their classes’ theme, no? It’s like a Mesmer having illusions or an Engineer having a ton of variety with their kits and tool belt.

I agree with both of you, though that wasn’t the point of my last post. The point was that someone thought they were clever by saying to just use poison to counter guards when there’s 4 professions that don’t have enough access to poison to make any difference. Even if Guardian healing was an issue at all (and its not), it would be massively more complicated then “just use poison”. I think my comment went entirely over your heads.

Again a bearbow topic?
OP, play as you wish. DON’T impose your style on others!

This is still the truest thing said on this thread.

Bearbows are never going to go away, so you guys should probably just accept that as fact.

You don’t just love when everyone melee something and you have a Warrior/Engineer/Elementalist that knock back the mob you just want to …

Fixed that for you. All three of these professions are just as notorious as Rangers are at knocking things back at the worst possible times.

The ones who cycled their alts during all of this and stayed confined to one or two maps weren’t banned, because you need an actual person to do that (allegedly)

The thing with people I have seen botting is that they port between nodes as I have reported people that mysteriously appear at a node in front of me.

I’m shocked that they will ban people for legitly farming nodes but not people who blatantly exploit an event that can be made to not end but spawns infinite mobs that drop loot.

There were people that wanted to do that during the story related Frostgorge event. While there is 3 champions to kill already, the event can continuously spawn 2-3 champions at a time until they are killed, and the previous event also spawns a lot of champions as well. There were a lot of people hitting the boss once of twice, then afking as long as possible to get more loot bags to spawn. I don’t think it should be bannable because the splash could affect a lot more players than just the ones who were purposely doing it, but it is definitely a problem.

Its probably because a case by case basis doesn’t allow some botters to slip through, is precisely the reason they do it. Killing bots with a giant ban-napalm bomb seems to be alright even if there’s a few casualties, because they can be (normally) saved after the fact.

Well, I would THINK you could continue to harvest trees, but speaking as someone who has been banned this morning (I guess, can’t log in, zero word from anet on my tickets) for cutting wood and selling foxfire, you make the call. From what I’ve read, the bans were for people who literally logged thousands of logs for >100 foxfire. I made 200g on it over the last 2 days. The thing is, I did this. I work from home, I did it with my spare time (and I’ll admit a bit on my company’s time, but that is none of anet’s concern). I was looking forward to doing more of it today, but nope, I’m banned. I have no idea for how long since I never received an email or anything. Just can’t log in on my primary account. But, I logged in on my other account and sure enough, plenty of people farming wood just as they were before. So, I’d say you are safe if your past activity didn’t trigger whatever the heck triggered me and others to be banned.

Until I know its safe to chop down trees I’m going pretend there is a Bearspider guarding every tree in the game world and just say…NOPE!

(P.S. – Bearspider for Ranger pet. plz Anet? Thanks.)

[Suggestions]A roleplayers plea

Personally I think that 3D games with a fixed camera that you have no control over are actually darn near perfect (god of war for example), though they are horrible for a game like Guild Wars.

God of War doesn’t only have a fixed camera though. They switch between a rail camera (for specific sections) and a free camera (for battles).

I kind of meant fixed as in out of your control. There is no point in any god of war game where you can control the zoom or angle, except for moving across the screen, in which case, the camera adjusts accordingly.

There is no free, rotate yourself camera in any battle sequence in any of the games, or Dante’s Inferno either(a similar game). Darksiders is a different story, as you could control the camera in that game.

I don’t think that’s true……snip…..

While not quite as bad as guild wars 2, it was still really bad at times in the Secret World and Lord of the Rings Online, the other 2 MMO’s that I played before.

And the big problem with invisible walls in this game is that it sets the camera limits. The Invisible walls are like a collision model(read : that’s exactly what they are), separated but connected to the regular model (they can also be placed without an existing model to create invisible walls), and its the collision model that determines where a character can walk/stand/etc. and it also determines where the camera limits are.

Skyrim uses that system, because everything in the game except the landscape has to have a defined model, and a defined collision area set to it, otherwise you could run right through it. That’s why things you can move through (whether its a flag or badly placed solid rock) don’t block the camera. There’s no collision model tied to the main model defining its limits, and the collision model doesn’t have to be the same size as the main model either. I am guessing that Guild Wars 2 has a similar system, since the camera zooms in when running behind a tree, but the leaves that you can jump through doesn’t block the camera.

I’m being very simple when I explain it, and I’m sure you knew all this already, but its a problem that’s not likely to get fixed in Guild Wars 2 unless some major reprogramming/modeling is done to…pretty much everything. If Anet defines a tree as not blocking the camera, then it could be as simple as creating a flag so the collision model doesn’t block the camera, or it could be a lot more complex than that.

i was perma banned, i also farmed foxfire a lot yesterday and sold them as i got them. But im pretty sure i was banned for afking in WvW at weaponsmith station. I didnt afk on purpose just forgot to turn off gw2

It cant be for that. I always though people get auto disconnected after a few minutes of afking in WvW? its always happened to me.

He’s submit a ticket about it but has yet to hear anything back. Have a lot of people seen the same thing happen since the foxfires were found to be profitable?

Hundreds of people apparently.

If you submitted a ticket, then you should get an email reply shortly. That, or their overwhelmed at the moment. Anet isn’t going to personally respond to this post either unless there’s a reason to (normally just to close it and direct you to support tickets and email), you’ll get contacted through email after you submit the ticket.

When my account was temporarily shut down due to a hacker, it said Trial account too when I tried to log in, so I assumed it does that for any suspended/terminated account.

And yes, other people are complaining too, mainly off-site. Here’s a reddit thread talking about it (warning, almost all of it is hate stuff (hah! censor that!!!):::
http://nf.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/2c8mbb/so_anyone_else_banned_for_mass_wood_farming/

And you don’t need to prove anything. Anet will look through the game logs, and make a decision based on that.

Hateful Comment ::: You were botting, and you deserve what you got! No one should be allowed to harvest that many trees in 2 days without obviously using a 3rd party program of some kind! Cya later! Hope you go play a different game!!!

Neutral Comment ::: I went to this subforum to see if people had a problem with this too, and seems they do! Now I know I’m not doing my 12 hour tree cutting run today, or I might get banned too……

sorry, I joke too much, on to the actual thing I wanted to say…..

Sympathetic Comment ::: Its been happening to a lot more than one person I’ve heard. You’re going to have to wait it out until someone at Anet sorts it out.

Anet explaining the process (from a slightly earlier and closed thread)
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/I-have-done-nothing-wrong/4251386

I’m not exactly sure that relying on in-game logs as a way to see if someone is using 3rd party programs is exactly sound strategy…but I’m no expert in such things so….yeah…patience, and sugar cubes and unicorns, and stuff. I guess…..

meh…Anet’s done worse….

((Not that it makes it okay in any way.))

((edit – What’s even more awesome is that someone was banned while they were streaming through twitch, while trying to gather from every resource node in the game in one run.

http://www.twitch.tv/imnotdom/b/552970165 (doesn’t work anymore….)
http://www.twitch.tv/imnotdom/c/4788736

I don’t know it they were botting or not, just posting a link [Though its obvious they weren’t]))

….And yeah, I was gonna chop down a lot of trees later today to get some firefox clusters, I wanna know if I’m going to get banned or not too?

Edit 2 it seems the first link isn’t working anymore. That was the one showing the hours and hours of gathering.

Edit 3 – Some accounts are getting restored….still afraid to go chop another tree down, less the A(net)EPA comes after me….maybe tomorrow?
