But the real thing we want is for them to say “we aren’t going to do this again.” At the moment with this whole sham “evolution of fractals” our levels are still in jeopardy and they could and might do it again in 6 months. That’s why we aren’t shutting up about this. We do not want it to happen again. Is that so wrong?

Weren’t they gonna get rid of towns clothing? Pretty ironic if i got a shirt that they would take away later ha-ha, to me fractals was dead once they kitten blocked 50. Fractured was a massive fail.

Working on Arah p2 solo, and when I’m fight Belka, her one-shot aoe attack changes direction in mid air to come bite me. Is this supposed to happen? Is there any way around this?

If that guardian was running meta, then no. Hell, no. Maybe when you can FGS things against a wall but I highly doubt that you had much opportunities to do that in a FOTM 49 pug out of all things.

On a complete run of fractal I would be interested to see how many hits points made a guardian and an ele, how many mobs were killed !!! Damages with frost bow or FGS with ele zerk, 15 to 24 might stacks, fury and so one are just so hudge especially on groups of mobs, and it can be done it quite often. With S/D and better D/D ele sustains the comparaison with guardian because ele D/D constantly do at least average good dps. True that I don’t see big numbers like 20k, but I prefer the high frequency of 5-8k hit points !!!

Probably didn’t want to argue with ignorance. Putting an actual effort into an argument with people like you is a waste of time. I would also be silent if I did just a random pug and didn’t care (which 99% of the time I pug anyhow, I don’t really try to filter pugs, often feels like a waste of time seeing the kind of zerkers I’ve seen in FOTM pugs), or just start a votekick and block you if you tried to whisper and the run was advertised as meta. Bottom line is that I’m not going to break a sweat convincing people who already made up their mind to PlayHowTheyWant.

Yeh the ground isnt flat and so he buggs into the different textures on the ground

Normally I’m a fairly relaxed team member when it comes to pugging people. What really irks me about rangers that join my group is that on countless occasions, they’ll use Point Blank Shot on a set of mobs that have been perfectly grouped.

Okay, I understand and I’m willing to accept you not doing the best you possibly could do, but when you start trolling me by pushing mobs around and forcing me to be less effective, I’m much more accepting of seeing someone vote-kick a ranger.

the Tier 3 gets my vote, the ascended looks very messy, the zodiac and the aetherblade armor don’t really blend well together, nor does your sunrise with either.

not really a fan of either, deSade… but yeah if i had to choose it’d be the second i think.

Well, the meter would be “private” so no one else would be able to see or judge.

However, I agree the casual carebears would go up in arms because how dare a DPS meter show objectively (even privately) how bad their scepter/rifle/bow/staff builds are!

I gotta be honest here, i hate Sellers of dungeons, i’m against it because they cheat their way through to get money and it sucks. However, Purple Miku is the only one player that made me wrong. He never cheats, he solo the stuff in a proffesional way, he don’t exploit enemies or use jump skips. I’m proud to say that i respect him, and he’s probably the 1% of the Arah sellers that really deserves to have fun and money if he wants to solo + make some gold with a dungeon.

So, that said: Hey purple, you might remember me, as we played together sometimes. If this happens again, add me and i’ll join your group really fast. That wasn’t cool, man.

By the way, since that player is from my server and i’m a known commander in there, i’ll contact the major guilds and try to make a punishment ^^. Payback is coming. Take care.

Here’s my Warrior “Burning Paris” to resemble my love for France after an Arah P3 Solo-Run.

That would turn all those griefers in Perma-Stealth thieves though “merging outside of the box”… Everytime i picture the merge system in my head i see a pirate ship brutally ramming into a trade-vessel with a troll face on the black flag, seriously there is no reason for a merge system, it just causes headaches. For the tar part, i usually invite friends.

Not everyone has to use exploits to solo. Plenty do it legit. If you couldn’t have thought of that yourself maybe you belong to the latter group.

Sure, some do it legit.. no way there’s a majority or something though grinding their way through when you know how easy it is not only to exploit but simply port w/e using hax. Players aren’t affraid of using them in WvW in front of an audience, so I doubt they are less frequent inside a dungeon without prying eyes.

Because people can’t get carried through Arah or invited at the last moment by friends/guildies.

IMO, Arah gear had some prestige before sellers. I rarely saw a bad player using it; bad as in not even have a dodge button binded. And maybe you like to carry or invite people at the end, but I don’t think it’s that common unless it’s a DC or something. It also takes x amount of “carried” runs before gear can be purchased, by then the carried might have gained some useful knowledge and improved their skill.

Arah gear never had prestige…

If I were a new player to this game I’d have serious doubts about continue playing, much more so than e.g. speed groups that all MMO’s have. Selling dungeons only means two things in my book: Exploits and terrabad players. All the horrible fails I’ve seen on Marionette this past month from people sporting Arah gear with zero skills. Thank you sellers for ruining one of the few cool armor sets :p

Because every bad group posts “need guard!” like it’s a mandatory thing, especially in fractals. They develop a hero complex and they actually think they’re the reason everybody is alive while spamming wave of wrath in magi gear.
Also try to convince one of them to stop using empower when you’re trying to blast fire fields.

Is it really wrong to expect the devs to be able to play their own content? Is that asking too much?

I don’t think it’s a big deal if the devs can’t play the content, as long as they get skilled testers that can accurately gauge whether the content is difficult or not (and not artifical difficulty, like spawning a million dredge). As it stands now, they probably have a bunch of skill clicking staff guardians testing their content.

this although i dont have an issue with dredge currently apart from the boring clown car.
