I’m also going to try out a Power Build instead of putting so much into CS’s now. I have on Crit Sigils so I’ll start using some Precision food and maintenance oil which should be good enough along with Furious Retaliation and Thrill of the Crime.
Against Certain Classes and builds I think it might be a good idea to spec into Shadow Arts for the Cloaked in Shadows or the Condition Cleanse, especially against those backstab thieves. Then again I have almost fully geared with PVT and Lyssa runes, so I have to Build a bit more defensive so I can then counter whenever possible.
If you are Zerging I’d suggest putting at least 20 for Bountiful Theft. I’m not sure if putting 30 into Trickery is worth it though.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
That does not sound like Deso to me, we are a generally a friendly Community but there may be a few bad eggs among us, and as mentioned you might of caught some gals/guys during a heated moment. We are all human.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Seriously I have no words, I mean maybe a facepalm is in order.
And Rezzet I seriously doubt you’ve even played a thief or even extensively. F1, 1 and 2 hardly gets you anywhere.
The whole point of the debate is about stealth and d/p, that is just plain bad trolling without even being on topic.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Interesting, I don’t think we even ask for this right?
Such an unneccassary change really.
Helping to keep this bumped.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
i Love how all thieves use the same excuse that they dont gain boons on dodges or soemthing or that they have no survivability other than stealth when it is an obvious lie
reason you lose big chunks of hp in those rare cases you are hit is cuz you run glass cannon wich again even warriors get melted as
try use actual excuses for once please
What do you mean by Boons on Dodges? What kind of Mythical skill have you invented from thin air?
Of course we have stuff outside of Stealth which gives us the ability to survive, with Dagger mainhand if our Auto-Attack hits then we regain about 10 Endurance along with any other Endurance regen Trait.
It’s just that Stealth is convenient and most Roaming Thieves use it.
Our Vigor Regen got nerfed, but we’ve still got decent vigor uptime – which is still far from “perma” Vigor.
This thread makes my head hurt.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
All the more reason for them to Fix the Imbalances between Populations and the Scores that are so skewed by Coverage that you see some Match-ups over before the weekend is over!
Desolation earlier tonight ticked for +25 at 10pm and +50 at 8pm, which is as you can understand shows how much this new Map has affected us. I don’t think EoTM is everyone’s cup of tea though and as I mentioned many of us will go back to playing on the BL’s and EB after a while.
All we have to play for is Bragging rights and Server Pride, it may be about time that players catch on to the fact that there is no point in trying to Compete in a imbalanced Matchup and neither for the Server Wide Bonuses anymore.
Does this new map also give less reason for Guilds to Transfer to lesser populated wvw servers? What Anet needs to do is make it so each of the maps had enough unique differences especially in terms of how the maps flow, such as: having more open field plains and less obvious choke points on the main maps (not those cannons I’ve heard about in EoTM!), otherwise we might aswell re-roll tetris.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
I don’t think Anet intends to Gate people after all this time, or in other words stop people playing at times that they can play. wvw has never been a Fair and Balanced 24 hour war, if you don’t have the coverage or dedicated players as it is over here in the EU then you will have imbalanced match-ups with blowouts – even before the weekend is over.
There’s no point in worrying about about the Score/PPT, defending or upgrading structures unless you have the numbers to do that unfortunately.
Match-Ups are so skewed by Coverage and Population that it’s best to focus on when you can play up against Equal numbers. It really is best for your own sanity to do something better than watch as things get run over until the Train Stops.
You could look at wvw as Open World PvP Warfare with a touch of PVE, which has a rather ‘Casual’ Scoring system rather than a Competitive Scoring system which takes into account Coordination, Organization and Strategy rather than PvD.
I wouldn’t just blame EoTM by the way, it has it’s own issues and the novelty will wear off quickly!
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
‘Hardcore’ wvwers will still hop onto the main maps especially for Reset, eventually the novelty will wear off anyway.
I don’t see how this will bring about much difference to the gameplay you see in everyday wvw apart from the Map layout, having to play alongside Servers who are the same colour (which’ll bring about language barriers but everyone knows how to blob right?), PVE objectives, LS while it lasts and without the PPT to worry about; not that many even cares (or has to care) about that anyway.
There will be Roamers, Gankers and Guild Groups, but those tied to their Community are still obligated to support their own Server Community on the main maps. As mentioned it’ll be a place for people to hop into wvw if there’s imbalanced Match-Ups, but we’ll just to wait and see how it affects the Match-Ups.
I predict that most Guilds will prefer the flow and layout of the Borderland Maps, and every other zergling will stick to EB as usual.
Anyway, the time for Speculation is almost over!
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
@uriel Breathe in Breathe out.
I thought I’d clear some of the myths about us: Thieves are not OP because of one Weapon-set and we do not have Perma Stealth, Perma Evades or Vigor.
To Summarize: D/P is an forgiveable Multi-Utility weapon-set, despite the Smoke (blind) field and Stealth issues it is possible to counter, but I understand at first it’s difficult to keep track of Thieves who disappear out of thin air – only to burst you down when you aren’t even faced the right direction.
That does not make Thieves an Easy Class to play, there are highly skilled thieves about that do not utilize that much stealth, it’s mainly roamers that run with low risk and high reward. wvw gear and stats are vastly different to what you find in PvP.
Overall I think it’s dangerous to change things drastically as certain changes will break certain weapon-sets like S/P which relies heavily on Black Powder for survival, and adding a reveal for blocking/evading under stealth which would punish D/D uses that don’t have easy access to stealth. Afaik when the 4s Reveal was reverted back in April 2013 it was because it didn’t work out well for thieves in PVE, unlike the nerf to Shadow Return which kinda broke the flow for us Sword thieves. Just look at the Necro Signet bug which melts gates; wvw is clearly not their priority and they don’t balance for wvw alone.
Thieves would need a complete rework and incentive to try out different Builds/Weapon Sets really.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Brooms, now there’s a few creative ways you can get by using brooms to fix all these big bad Invisible OP thieves.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Most of our rangers rerolled to heavies, true story.
And I disagree about thieves and engis, they are not useless in an organized guild group, they have their own specific uses especially if the players are skilled; same with skilled Rangers.
Other classes are better at doing specialized things as mentioned – it’s the way the game has been balanced for, which safe to say the classes haven’t been balanced for the game-mode in mind and neither is there as as much Build Diversity as the game could have.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
I tried that once but ended up getting a ram BP thrown on my corpse =\
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
People feeling A sense of entitlement to say such stuff is sad to see towards new players among a video game community.
Its probably best to start off by following the commander tag first and listen to what they tell you unless the commander isn’t any good. Get on the public voice comms that they advertise (unless you’re on a server paranoid about spies) if possible as commanders often communicate a lot more through that than in-game.
The rest of the mechanics you will learn eventually, try watching what people do and maybe you’ll find someone or a guild friendly enough to help you. Just don’t do anything out of the ordinary like dropping random siege, or following untagged guild groups.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
And I thought I had things bad
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Perma Stealth, Perma Evasions and Vigor? Where do I get that if I’m not a hax0r thief after they nerfed Vigor? Feline Grace is not OP in any way.. and it just returns a little endurance.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
This is what happened to me the last time I played two weeks ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fwliYYx_Bc
This is not supposed to be a showcase of l33t skill.. :x
I don’t specifically roam in search for duels , they find me. If there’s a large scale fight especially against a Guild I’ll engage cause it’s better than wandering about and my build allows that, but going up against high dmg or condition builds I’ll steer clear once I realize it. (the food/oil and stacks of bloodlust/Corruption is a sign)
It’s a good idea to run a Class with good mobility/stealth (Or a stack of tonics) just in-case those gankers are lurking or some large group is around to run over you. Otherwise you can PvP or use the OS if you want some duels, but you will still not get fair duels in PvP.
And yeah Deso’s now rank 10.. hardly Gold league with not many queues these days, just pugs blobbing on EB, or fighting off Guild Groups on our Home BL.
Our Guilds like fighting elsewhere, but it’s normal for us!
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
D/P is just the most versatile round weapon-set around the only thing it doesn’t have is Cleave. It is a forgiveable set to run and has easy access to stealth along with a Blind Field, but it is not the main problem it is also how there is so many ways to access stealth in addition along with running certain traits that Regen’s your Health.
Shadow Arts IMO is an extremely valuable trait-line unlike Acrobatics even with Feline Grace if you run a stealth build as opposed to an evade build which they’ve since nerfed to an extent.
Anyway in PvP you have a 4s Reveal which they reverted in PVE/wvw after much outcry, I’m not sure they can break that back without breaking some builds though.
As mentioned though Stealth was truly annoying when culling was around, the problem people have is with those high power/crit builds along with stealth.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
A Zerker Ranger is a rallybot not a zergling..
Anyway in wvw critical damage is much higher than in PvP and you have Bloodlust Stacks, Food and Oil, and Applied Strength. It hurts more in wvw that’s for sure, besides Thieves like everyone else will be brought down a bit once they bring in Ferocity.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
There is no such thing as using “Stealth beyond normal”.
It is a Mechanic which all thieves have and usually have to use to survive besides using Mobility which got nerfed so you often see these kind of Stealth Builds.
Is it annoying as hook? Yes it is, some thieves use certain skills, utilities and traits especially from the Shadow Arts line, but eventually you’ll get used to it and adapt to their shenanigans unless they run full zerker.
I suggest you run for your life unless you have the capability and knowledge about what you are up against without being insta-gibbed or dying a slow death to conditions (the latest P/D cheese)
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
I do when I’ve had the time to play which is not much in the past couple of months, but I usually Roam and Scout. I only occasionally find a good fight, although often you’ll get interrupted unless it’s late at night on some underpopulated map if you’re lucky enough.
Otherwise you’re left farming Moas and the rest of the wildlife, especially the Ice Wurm.
I’m from Desolation in the EU where we’ve been fighting ‘Gold League’ servers with our population facing post league and PVE patch drops in activity, Jade Sea is the one with the superior coverage and night cap.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Back on topic, I doubt they’ll do anything even if its a server wide or group abuse it. But I hope most server communities can take a vow to avoid such cheating, it gives them a bad image anyway.
I don’t know how long this exploit has been around but that mesmer chaos armor bug was caught pretty early and it got fixed quickly, what happened with this situation?
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
This is what I do and I enjoy it more than anything apart from commanding, and it sure beats stationary scouting!
I think overall opening up the map and checking the situation isn’t so difficult that we need such a feature. As mentioned we’ve got multiple ways to keep track of things, and scouting may be boring to some but not everyone.
Try to come up with an idea to reward your scouts to encourage more scout rotations with your community, if they’re cooperative enough they’ll share their gold towards those who do a lot of dirty work.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
This is unbelievable, what will stop players or servers abusing this as reporting each and everyone is impossible.
I’d like to express to express my condolences to you guys on behalf of Deso, and his family and friends. Stay strong.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Ah so that’s it. Nothing you can do about pvd and being outnumbered but try to defend with what you have.
Sometimes you’ll have more numbers than others at night depending on the matchup you get.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Obviously paper gates will get melted by a zerg with little resistance, why does it effect your enjoyment of wvw so much when you do not need to bother so much about it – go PvP or pve, or log off and do something else.
People can play how they want, different servers have their own style – with different kinds of players. You may not be facing Servers within your requirements, but you can’t expect fair and balance most of the time with wvw.
Plenty have tried to come up with solutions yet Anet have ignored thus far, they should Be doing everything to break up zergs.
The karma train mentality is sadly never gonna change until they decide to change wvw into a balanced competitive mode – It’s not only a open world PvP mode but also involves some tactical warfare. It is rather casual with the players coming up with their own ideas to make it more ‘hardcore’.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
The biggest problems for defenders is the siege decay and dedicated scouts.
Here’s what happened to us one night : we once lost t3 garrison to rams due to a lack of scouts, not your typical zerg with golems .
What this problem boils down to is the coverage game and imbalanced matchups, but even then what I see is that people recap their entire borderlands eventually after some perseverance; unless you are up against a t1/2 EU server.
The karma train may come again depending on the resistance on other maps but there is naught you can do, it doesn’t “kill” wvw – you have to adapt to it depending on the matchup.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Yeah bad idea, this would make the last vigor change even more unbearable for us evade thieves. I know it would be nice to have the insta-cast back but I wouldn’ t swap it for less endurance regen, which is essential to our survbability – besides stealth.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
One of the most frustrating problems we’ve had since launch really, which is why it’s probably best to avoid EB during Prime-Time..
@Marz PVE/wvw Commander over here mate.. (attachment)
On topic though, I can’t imagine what they were thinking when deciding over what to put into a Open world Pvp map really.
On the other hand queues will be ‘gone’ and we’ll get to play and farm along with everyone else stuck in the queue we rarely get, but on another note it looks like League Season 2 will be just around the Corner.
I’ll happily farm Scarlet’s Minions for precursors and Gold with the added bonus of some Pvp and Loot, until they remove this living story stuff.
But if it’s Open Access and works exactly like the PVE Overflows, even then why would you want to have Open world PvP interrupted by NPC’s? Hopefully they’ll be open spaces to roam about without interruption at least.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Some of the best fights you can find is over a Keep like Bay or Hills, or Garrison if it manages to get as far as that. So it’s not so much about PPT is boring – it’s more about where you pick your fights to find the best fights.
You can get bags defending an objective even a camp, it’s just that fighting over a camp near another Server’s spawn mostly ends up a never-ending fight compared.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
That is not Perma Stealth, that is using every Stealth utility a thief has including cloak and dagger and the uptime isn’t so ‘Perma’ anyway but with that extra Second uptime thanks to Meld in Shadows I would still generally think anyone who runs that sort of build is more of a troll build.
Unless you run a Dagger Main-hand it’s pretty harmless without Backstab.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Over here in the EU Desolation has a decent chance of matching up T1 servers like Vizunah in-fact we’ve had Riverside and SFR, but we haven’t been matched up with Vizunah thus far since normal Match-ups resumed. And we’ve had some decent variety with our Match-ups.
It makes sense that the Top 3 servers have a high chance of facing each other though, it’s not like the time you had Deso and SFR stuck in Tier 1 waiting to lose enough rating to drop down to Tier 2.
So overall this system is much more welcome than the previous Tier system, although thinking about it now the previous calculations used before the leagues weren’t so bad as long as you didn’t pay attention to the scoreboard. I suppose you had Match-ups pairing Servers from 1 to 15 which was pretty ridiculous, but you still have blow-outs and disparities between Server populations either way.
If you want Balance and Fair Matchups, Anet should encourage players to transfer to balance out populations especially before they ponder over a League Season Two.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Don’t worry, I’m sure there is still stuff that is still left in the oven for a little longer like EoM and hopefully a change to the Commander system, although Account Bound World Ranks can’t be that far away from being implemented.
I’m wondering when they’ll bring better rewards for the PVE champions on EB though! That Kitten Champion Spirit takes so long to take down, yet we end up with a handful of badges, Greens and or a piece of Siege.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Just look at Desolation now and during the leagues, currently we face heavy reistance at night from other servers but we’re not complaining cause it is how it is. We often struggle during prime time and make up the points difference after prime time, but now our night force is not as strong as it was during the leagues.
What happens to whoever has the most dedicated players at night is that they are left free reign to cap everything with Golems and a fair sized zerg, if you face 1 opposing server with equal an amount of players border hopping – sometimes you’ll see them avoiding each other and taking points off the weaker server, unless either one goes to attack each other’s borderlands or structures on EB.
There’s a big difference if there is two or three servers with a fairly strong night force who’ll just back cap or defend their structures with ease, no matter if you lose a t3 keep during prime time you can cap it back later for the PPT.
What can you do about it? Organize a night Force for your server – bring together your most dedicated players to work together both defensively and offensive. If you can’t put together enough people then do the best you can with what you have.
Otherwise don’t worry about it too much, commanders and players burn out worrying about the PPT and losing stuff at night; do your best with whatever time you have to play or just focus on the fights and enjoy yourself instead of worrying about something out of you control.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Just saw us take Augury Overlook on EB, that was a nice attempt to defend against the odds that we even had to build arrow carts – oh well. I have good memories of that keep this year!
I have a screenie of that JDGE Warrior with the Afro on the cliff next to the treb, but this Scorpion had to spew venom as soon I took the screenie that you can’t see the treb.
I’ve also haven’t seen much Crow about lately, I miss you guys!
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Personally I find these Glassy, Ganky and Stealthy thieves awkward to fight as a Thief; whether I’m roaming around or scouting.
They are very much prominent despite the previous balance patch, but if you are a good enough player you should learn to counter them once you get used to their mechanics.
Usually they have high amounts of crit dmg; In addition to Food , Oil and Bloodlust stacks.
What I do is see what I’m up against: I stay away from those with Crit Food and Bloodlust stacks, as I’m usually built for staying alive and zerging.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
So it was you Osicat who I bumped into along with that Engineer on Deso Borderlands, I was that [EXG] thief who kept escaping cause I was actually just scouting around that area..
It’s nice to see some JDGE back around as I kinda heard you stopped playing a few weeks after we had that GvG. I always admired what you could do with smaller groups against the odds when you were back on Deso – back when I was just a EB pug.
@Gamgee Haha, we saw that Warrior with the Afro on Ganadara BL with one other guy Trebbing Hills, while we were fighting a big group of BLAK + randoms around the gate. (They got blobbed in the end lol)
Also that was quite some coordinated Gandaran Zerg on EB, you had us tearing our hair out with our group of guys, who eventually got it together.
Credit to your commander(s?), I think you swapped commanders or the tags were just bugged.
I also noticed quite a few Coin members among the Gandaran Zerg that I remember..
My footage from the Garrison Reset fight will have to wait a bit, as I’ve had a few connection problems sorry.
Let Rangers go wherever they can enjoy the game with their friends and pets…
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Thanks for the Fights CoN, BLAK, Yak and anyone else I forget when I got on at about 7pm GMT, especially Yak and the other guys who followed you; you had some impressive coordination and movement going on. I’ve got some footage of that Epic fight inside Garri which goes on for 8 mins.
I don’t know if you’ll read this Truebanana but I spotted you earlier, I remember you dueled with a few of us from Desolation sometime ago.
I guess it’s our last chance to QQ since these forums are closing down, so let’s make the best of it without going into Shino levels of bad trolling.
Looking forward to this New years week!
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Well thanks to AG for pushing us hard this week, as I mentioned it’s also been a fun week. We had to bring out the late night golems and manpower but that’s a part of wvw which I think, shows up the glaring flaws about how balanced wvw is with the scoring system.
You had the lead but not quite the motivation, our philosophies are different so I think it’s no big deal if you want to play for fights or points; depending on the matchup.
I didn’t see many complaints when you lead, now how is Night capping an issue with us when it’s an issue with wvw?
If you’ve faced our pugs then you can’t expect them to have the builds or skillful as us, and I’m not even a hardcore wvwer.
If you faced Guilds like my own we’ll put up a good fight, we’ll also tag up and blob up if required for our community. I can’t say much about the other few Guilds we have; some of them are on a break, I’m sure the rest are a decent challenge to fight at least.
And lol who acknowledges Shino at this point!
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Cheers for the fun tonight East from SM. Sorry AG next time pick a better time to walk out your Golems when I’m not around Skirmish.. Scouting.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Thanks for the Fights on Deso BL DOOM, I’m still recovering from Xmas day but it was fun trading lootbags!
I noticed a lack of variety in Classes even though I know it’s the norm, it just feels like the last patch seems to have pigeon holed people further towards re-rolling Tetris.
I’m still looking forward to what’s left of this matchup! It’s good to be involved in a close matchup, while it’s also been a fun week with Christmas and all.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Thanks for the fun this past Xmas Eve and late into the night on EB; from the big fights to the small skirmishes.
It was especially fun chasing after you three thieves (1 guildless thief and 1 each from TCHU and SOLO) around EB, while you went around hassling people. Also you can expect pay back from me for any bad sportsmanship towards me and my friends.
Nice to see you being creative Shino, but you are like a Broken Record.
Merry Christmas to everyone here, even to the Funniest “Troll of Glade”
What do people have against lonely wandering Reindeer’s? Those tonics cost 1g now..
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
I told someone that I was glad that they’re closing it down, but now that I think about it feels like it’s become a part of wvw culture.
I like to log in for some Friendly Banter, yet when I see some of the arguing over the same things over and over again like Night Capping and Zerging; it’s just sad to see.
Then there’s things like Propoganda against another server Community, I can understand why many take things so seriously: It’s war but still it’s a just a game!
The Bad trolls are actually fun to read, but the ones trying hard are just bad for the internet. The Leagues brought out the worse from the Community really.
I hope something could change their mind and that they can find a way to moderate these threads better, if not we’ll find somewhere else..
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
To the Warrior guy from CRiT just now, I hope you are proud that your friend backed you up there while we were 1v1.
Otherwise Merry Xmas from Deso’s Night Crew! <3 I’ve missed you guys..

It’s a shame we seemed to miss each others Zergs most of the time, but then again we had a drunken commander. (that wasn’t me)
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
It’s not the classes that end up being “Rallybots” its the individual players builds, skill level and knowledge of their class.
It just takes time to Theory-Craft and learn your class in depth; knowing your limitations.
Each class has a set role among a zerg From: Boon Stackers, Boon strippers, Blast finishers, CC’ers and Combo Fields.
As a thief I wouldn’t waste trait points nor utilities slots for Venoms, I’d equip a Pistol as my off-hand weapon for the Dark field and blind; which is far more accessible and useful in teamplay.
Use your Steals to your advantage: Steal Fear off a Necro or a waterfield off a Ranger, and switch to your shortbow for the best blast finisher in the game.
Of course some classes are far more versatile than others like Warriors when it comes to each wvw game-style: Guild runs, Solo Roaming, Zerging and Group roaming.
Generally Heavies are often low risk and high reward, they aren’t invincible though if you use Choke point, Flanking and other tactics to your advantage.
When there’s a group of up to 20 it becomes less about individual skill and more about coordination, but a few skilled players CAN turn the tide of a battle around.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Karma/Zerg Trains are big social events, they bring together Casual/Hardcore players and it’s not like those “lootbag hunters” can get away being badly geared, or by wandering away from the group.
They happen when there are big differences in coverage/population between servers in their matchups, or to maximize the PPT in a close matchup.
There is of course little reward towards Defenders, Dolly Escorts, Scouts etc who spend alot of time and money: these are the truly dedicated wvwers who do their bit for their community.
They may not be among the big social Zerg but they make a sacrifice everyday, that they deserve a break now and again and it often happens that the only thing running is the Karma or Zerg train.
Because there is no faster way to take down a T3 keep and you can get around fast with an army of golems, if you don’t have the numbers or scouts to defend your structures then you have no chance.
It’s easy Karma, Mats, Points, XP and WXP.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
I’ve had the same problem here, I’m from the EU on Desolation and I seem to rubberband and bad skill delay during the evening but not so bad late at night, even when I engage combat with a small group or a single player.
It might be due to my ISP but I don’t know for sure.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Ooh yeah that’s when I woke up and couldn’t sleep then! Yes we got tired! Clock was like 4 in the morning… That was fun though, it was quite even though we kept dieing.
Sorry I met an AG thief earlier the same day that ganked me and then laughed 5 times and jumped on my corpse. I partied him and said wait there(got angry), and he said he’d “Whoop my kitten all day”. I got there and killed him, let him res and killed him again. He was good though, so I told him and we had a chat. Just some context
Yes thanks anyway people for good fights, always appreciated!! Don’t hesitate to jump on lonely people, might turn into a greeeat fight!
Idk about the siege on bodies, I THINK that JDGE started that when we met FSP and started “ramming”(putting ram buildsite on the corpse) a guild called [Lion] that we thought were pricks. It got pretty widely known and we got donated like 500 ram bps, alot of them from AG and FSP aswell haha. After that it has grown I think.
No problem, I get ganked all the time as if it’s in my job description. Most don’t jump on me, I respawn ASAP or as of late I seem to teleport everywhere, not because I’m a thief – it’s cause I keep rubber-banding.
I don’t think you are the same Warrior as the other two I met earlier this evening, I hope they had fun taking me on with a few pugs and then 2v1. :o
I also spotted you Gandarans walking out an Army of Golems from Lowlands on EB, which tbh is nothing compared to how big our Zerg has been tonight, but that’s how wvw has been for a long while to maximize PPT.
I remember Elona Reach this time last year in Tier 2, they had so many more active players during most of the day; that we couldn’t do much to stop them.
So yeah no hard feelings.
And I assure you dropping siege, jumping, Laughing or sitting down on a corpse is not EXG’s style, unless it’s IRON
If you do all that combined against one poor gal/guy, it’s sad to see that kind of sportsmanship.
(edited by CrimsonNeonite.1048)
Nice fights on Gandara BL late tonight, special thanks to that JDGE warrior who seemed to like me.
Anyway it seems our numbers have dropped drastically as we’re usually pretty strong during the weekend, but despite some of the zerg-iness there’s been some great fights so far.
No matter if we lose this week, let’s bring some festive cheer into wvw.Haha I’m guessing that warrior was me. Good fights, funfun. I’m hoping you won’t /laugh on corpses anymore!!
I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I jumped on Gw2 and roamed a little, tried to cap Bay with 3 ppl and one cata and reinforced walls. Twice the Deso blob came at us, but in between there was like 5 decent players and a very good Engi to fight, much fun! Eventually they killed us though. Still fun!
I do not /laugh on Corpses, I saw some bad Sportsmanship from our guys last night though; like dropping Siege on Bodies, apologies for that.
I was that S/P thief from EXG who was hanging around bay and Garrison, you guys eventually gave up respawning and running back! I also met an Ele from a Guild I can’t remember, whom I had a fight with that felt like it lasted for 10 mins.
I’ve changed my build since I started playing again and I’ve been lag spiking now and again, so sorry if I’m not that much of a challenge.
