Hello, since the 7th of October I started to get disconnected from the server with the error code 7:11:3:191:101.
It is random, maybe after 10 minutes, maybe after 2, maybe after 1 hour, but I can’t do a fractal run, I can’t do Tequatl, I can’t PvP nor WvW.
I did a Client Repair, I did a router reset and then I changed it with another one.
Ping is stable around 50, everything else, related to Internet, seems to work fine, simply skills don’t work and then boom, DC.

Can you please tell me what to check? I would like to play.

I’m on Gandara and I’m from Italy.

How can you do a full set of ascended items for a class you don’t even know how it is (i mean final balance).
Don’t you want to test it? I mean, and if you’ll need more of a stat than another? You’ll trash ascended items?

Same problem here. Big spike of lag, internet on my pc starts to lag (noticed because of TS3), game disconnects me and everything goes back to normal.
This happens in any game environment: wvw, pvp, pve, afk in LA.

A simple dodge can prevent half of the damage, bringing it to an average 3k or so.

You are saying it’s fine because you can dodge it. I’m saying it’s not because the game is no 1vs1.
Moreover there will be tons of reveals since every revenant will have it.
Reveal applied by other professions is just a wrong mechanic.
Stealth will be even less effettive; it will still be there, but it will be less reliable. And thieves are the ones who suffer the most from that.

1vs1 ’nuff said.

Don’t get me wrong but i will not be happy getting revealed because someone else will trigger it instead of dodge it.

Okay, let me just summon a wall that goes everywhere I need it specifically to counter one skill from a Revenant.

Hell, you don’t even have to nerf the damage. Just make it take SKILL to land.

Even a Thief backstab which doesn’t even do as much damage as UA takes setup to land. Not to mention you die in 3 seconds as a Thief if you’re not careful. Maybe a bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean.

Backstab does more damage, and still less than killshot or 100b or a bunch of new skills that i ate during bwe

Warrior: 2 endure pain + shield block is the same.

You know the game is not balanced around 1vs1. The drwaback of UA is that it keeps you on the target and at the end you are on your target, that means that if your target go inside a group of allies or onto a bunch of AoE (with a teleport or something else) you are overextended, far from allies and too close to enemies, and pretty much kittened

Not really.
Both SA and Daredevil are really the specs you tak for survability, and since you always need trickery, you end up not having any damage traitline ( DA or CS ) and you do very poor damage.

that’s not true. DD/SA/TR i still do a pretty good damage (without the right equip)

i have no personal crusade, it’s just that you are defending the undefendable.

And i think that’s why there are tons of rifle war out there playing “duck hunt” , because rifle sucks.

Because warrior is in a very strong place and doesn’t really need another skill that can literally oneshot targets.
Warrior must have his immunities toned down and start to wear toughness and vitality ’cause a glass cannon without the glass part (due to immunities) is dumb OP.

I figured something out that annoys me pretty much a lot:

When I do Bandit’s Defence and someone hits me in melee with some kind of rapid attacks, it will try to do the knockdown. But instead I die because enemies spam auto attack or some other attacks during that window that it will try to knockdown the opponent.

For example when a warrior does Whirlwind, I still get hit by the whole thing (aside the first strike), so that’s pretty annoying. You might say it’s part of the skill and maybe that’s true, but it really doesn’t help in group fights where people are focussing on you.

Maybe change this to make the knockdown a flipover that you can trigger? And increase the block to 2 seconds?

Or add an evade whlie kicking.

it’s less hilarious when you are out of reflect or you don’t see the war

This is more a question than a feedback, but i think it is important: why a group should take a thief?
I mean, our damage is good, but not much better than any other, we provide little to no boons/condi remove to our allies, we cannot follow a melee train since we are too squishy, we don’t have great CCs. We have stealth, which is more important for us, due to our stealth attacks/traits, than for others. So, again, why?
Daredevil doesn’t add anything.
It is a selfish elite spec.

I feel like i’m not contributing like others to the fights, i would like thieves to have something unique and tactical to let them be a strong part of a setup, to be the steak, not the salad…

Reveal must be counterable.

Hey Karl

I just logged in and saw you guys changed the dodge traits.
I was really looking forward to playing S/p and p/p because of the prospect of leaping through my smoke fields.
But now i logged in and i see that its no longer a leap finisher, its now a blast.
And since the blast will come at the end of the dodge, it feels clucky trying to get that wanted stealth effect.

I dunno, was just really exited for that trait and now not so much ^^

Debilitating Arc - distance is obviously bugged. much more short than it should be.

edit: look at the pictures. I started against the wall and I did “dash” (450), then heartseeker(450), weakening charge(450), debilitating arc(400)…

To me dust strike will never get the field component, but it is pretty useless now, since it does few damage and it’s easy to avoid.
I think it should be changed into “Dust Charge”: thief become a bolt of dust (same animation of druid – the blue healing ball) that travels to a location blinding foes he passes by and dealing AoE damage and blind when he lands.

Basically it’s the same skill of the druid but instead of healing + healing splash it does blind+blind splash and dmg.

Unload damage is pretty good, but but you can’t do anything else with p/p
Still have crappy range, no mobility, no survivability, no AoE or piercing.
OP against afk ppl and pets.

Thief is not in his best shape now, it’s harder than it was but it can still be effettive (wvw speaking).
One of the greatest problem is getting the stomp, since few AoE can kill you; that will hopefully be solved with new elite skill.

Smoke screen is not counterable. You can just avoid it.
A circle would just have a greater area, and being GT can let you put it where you want (e.g. on downed ppl) and use a defensive skill in a more aggressive way

Convert it to “Smoke Pillar” make it a pillar instead of a wall.
Make it ground target, 900 range.
Same radius of Shadow Refuge.

Because i spent so many hours on my thief, for 100% map, story dungeons, skins, items, and so on that i would never have balls to do it again.

tbh you can’t use them since they do damage and you will pop out of stealth.
