It will be different if there will be the c&d’s animation between mug and bs. in that case you can react.
I think that they should eliminate the possibility to precast c&d.
That is really OP. C&D is supposed to have a cast time, but the “steal during animation” in fact brings it away. It should be steal-c&d-bs, not c&d-steal-bs.
I was thinking about a system that could diversify materials a person obtains by gathering from those bought at TP. Something like a “gathered orichalcum ore” and “bought orichalcum ore” and the recipe could be:

i think that it is correct that a hidden player could be hit, and also that the channeling goes on. what i found broken is that the ranger rotates following the direction of the stealthed one and also preventing the proper positioning for a backstab.

that skill is a life saver. 10s of stealth are far better than any blind or little heal that a projectile will give you. You have to stay in the ring for some seconds and then you have more or less 5 secs of free movement stealth; so no, i prefer to stay in it and be like “hur hur you cant find meh” ’till I can go away.
When you use SR the little house is visible for a couple of seconds and enemies can figure where you are, with the red ring they actually know where you are anche can AoE you to death.
and for stealthed characters ? There will be footprints too?

PvE encouters are boring. In every mmo and that’s because they are predictables.
The most difficult encounter ever will be firstly frustrating, when you always wipe, and than boring when you are geared enough to farm it.
That’s why PvP is so much more funny than PvE, because there is no AI but only I.

I think magicfind helps a little bit, but you also need to be lucky.
for solo no brain pve i suggest anything with pistol off hand and some ini regen.
in main hand: sword is slower but aoe, dagger is faster but single target.

do you know there will be the possibility of wearing 2 different armor sets?
Something like the combat/civil button.
Maybe something that can be done with cooldown, only when you are out of combat.
Instead of unequip / equip every item you simply click on 1 icon.
13k dmg / 3 skills = 4.3k each. Using 3 big skills. I cannot see where is the problem. A lot of professions can crit for 4.5+ with a lot of skills. You cannot even complain about “no cooldown OP”, he used 3 different skills.

i think there is a great difference between stolen objects.
some are usefull, other less… if you don’t want the regeneration tree, don’t steal from rangers… (tip: they always have a pet)
before speaking of culling we should ask how many players were in that area … if there were 10ppl it could not be the culling issue.
thieves can stealth, warriors can’t.
so when you will be in an istance and 3 mobs will wipe you all, the thief can stealth, lose aggro, save a repair and ress his team mates.

Shadowstepping while running interrupts run animation and the character starts to slip forward.
Hidden Assassin trait gives 2 stack of might but the tooltip says: “Gain might for 15 seconds when you go into stealth.” No mention to 2 stacks. I hope this is a tooltip bug and not a trait one.
i read somewhere that sigils don’t stack. so 2 sigils of accuracy = +5%.
it is annoying that the critical chance is not updated in the hero panel.

Hello, i was thinking about the revealing debuff that a thief get attacking from stealth, but what about a d/d build, with venom and patient trait (recover initiative faster while in stealth).
Basically put venom on (just to have some more damage) and use only c&d, not from stealth but timing it so that it will hit immediately after you come out of stealth.
would that work? did anyone try this?
am i missing something?
if you max a profession then you can craft for tips (i did some jewels for 10s each but you can charge more) it will not take so long to regain what you didn’t by not had put rough mats on tp…
yes but it is slower and can jump only forward
the TP cut is there even for rough materials. you cannot compare sell and buy prices.

You should try if it is still broken before ask for a fix.
1: while you play you gather materials and if you have a maxed crafting skill you can craft your own items with no cost.
2: the price of rough materials will decrease probably faster than the number of crafters will increase (everyone can gather but not everyone will approach crafting) so the profit margin will be higher
3: learn a discipline gives you tons of xp = skill points = mystic forge
4: for an exotic amulet: rough materials 2.25g – amulet 2.65g it’s almost 20% profit
13g spent for crafting ? you did something wrong. To me for 400jc it took more or less 50s

you cannot see stealthed foes, otherwise stealth will be completely useless. You see as faded figures just your stealthed friends or yourself.

so a skill that leaves the thief useless, with 450range, not usable from stealth…
we have to change a lot of other skills, like warriors’ Aimed shot that should incapacitate the warrior to perform any other skill for the next 30 sec and immobilize it for 15.
seriously, your changes will just take 1 skill away from thieves’ bar.
the only thing they have to do with HS is fix it so it wuoldn’t miss so much with no reason.
it would be great if the damage increase will be proportional to the cost … i think maybe a 45k dmg if specced correctly should be fine. so thieves don’t have to spam HS but they can do it just once.
it is correct that thieves can stealth, but they should die suddenly after having activated it. This is the only way other professions will stop to whine, and it will be balanced.
i’m using the discovery tab and the guildhead.com database. It’s not the fastest way but it’s cheaper.
Basically i look for something in my range for discovery (ex: lvl 134 —> look for 125 chef items) and put it in guildhead search engine. It gives me back the recipes in which my item is used. I’ll make other ingredients and then do the discovery.
btw it’s #3 and it requires the same skill to be avoided. The skill of pushing 2 buttons.

It really depends. We have 2 dodges (3 if we spend 15 points in acrobatics) + 1 healing skill + Roll for initiative
so we can dodge 5 times in a row i think.
How often can most of you go into stealth? I know one of your heals goes stealth so thats what, ever 20/25 seconds?
more or less every 3 seconds, using healing skill (30s CD), blind powder, weapon skills, combos, shadow refuge, shadow trap
What is it where you guys disappear in a cloud of smoke at a certain health point?
5points in shadow arts. at 25% health casts blind+stealth

Obviously we cannot have all of those things togheter. We have to choose for stealth, or dodge, mobility or dps.

Sorry, did you just suggest that the skill should have a shorter stun duration when the thief has haste? That makes absolutely, positively no sense. No other skill in the entire game gets penalized because you have a boon, and rightly so.
They can do it even for other professions. Frenzy + Bull’s Charge could act the same way.
