A 1200 range or an off hand weapon to concentrate thief energy and let him unleash his power to gain stability while damaging multiple targets or porting through shadows to give stealth and protection to his allies.

I don’t think it could work. We are not warriors, we can’t stay there hitting ppl, we must go in and out with few great shots, so basically if you don’t hit you will not gat healed.
Maybe you could try in a p/p setup.
Now if you want to play a condi d/d you’ll spam 3 3 3 3
I think it’s better to be limited to a certain weapon set then to a single skill.

I think they should give a more specific type of damage to each kind if weapon so that any combination would be more adherent to players’ style.
for example:
dagger, short bow -> power dmg (dagger for melee, bow for ranged)
pistol, sword -> condition dmg (pistol for ranged, sword for melee)
a d/d weapon set should have 5 power oriented skills, same for SB.
a p/p weapon set should have 5 skills that do condi dmg, and also s/p.
if anyone would like to go hybrid he will just pick up the right combination:
d/p = 3 power – 2 condi
p/d – s/d = 3 condi – 2 power
doing that anyone will be able to choose his own playstyle and have 5 useful skills for each weaponset.
imo there is no place for skills like death blossom, choking gas or unload.
I think choking gas should become “inferno” applying burning instead of poison and being a fire field so we can stack some might

I think this build is pretty strandard. I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s almost like a classical d/d. It completely relies on c&d which is a big weakness imo, especially since there are a tons of immunities, blocks, evades, out there (not for thieves obviously).

Unless condi mesmer is rly bad, there is almost no way to win vs him in 1v1 as thief, even if u drop condis every 3 sec he just stacks like 3 condis every shatter not to mention his skills. You cant rly attack you cant rly move, torment was always insane vs thief but when u add it to Confusion it starts getting out of hand. Only trick i found is to focus on backstabs instead of pressure, bs invis bs invis bs invis till they drop rly low.
1 condition every 3s (in stealth)
1 condition for every trick ability (4 tricks in bar with shortened cooldown)
1 condition removed by infiltrator’s return
3 conditions removed by shadow return
that build is a great counter to conditions and performs pretty well in general.
i found this build pretty good for roaming, and it’s good against condition builds.

Solutions to WvW problems:
1. greatly increase reward from kills.
2. divide that reward by the number of attacking ppl
3. introduce unique armor and weapon skins
4. link points earned (from keeps, towers, camps, etc etc) to instant WvW population. eg: 1 keep with 300 ppl in wvw = 1000 points // 1 keep with 10 ppl in WvW = 50 points. (night capping issue solved)

left click on the ground → about face → withdraw
i have alt+\ bound for about face and alt+1 for withdraw so it’s just like a double tap. during withdraw animation i turn the camera using mouse.
I think devs should put a second part in venom skills.
my idea is that the thief should be able to consume venom charges to obtain a certain effect.
Obviously if you consume your charges you will no more apply the effect to your enemy.
skelk venom: heal yourself by x per charge
spider venom: gain 3s of regeneration per charge
skale venom: remove 1 condition per charge
devourer venom: gain 1 stability per charge
ice drake venom: gain 2s of protection per charge
basilisk venom: gain 2s of damage immunity per charge
Random numbers there, try to get the general idea:
venoms could be used offensively OR defensively and thieves would get some more survivability and build diveristy.

pistol whip roots you in place, it’s good in pve but not easy against other ppl.
they can nerf our defense, taking away protection, stability, immunities …. oh wait.
note that without hidden thief you can have regeneration.
stealth applies when heartseeker lands. so if you find yourself revealed it means you steal too late and mug takes you out of stealth. try to be faster with your steal.
You basically have 3/4 of a second to steal.

I think so. There is a bug that prevents a break stun ability to remove daze under certain circumstances.
it’s simple. you just need to steal before landing the heartseeker. while you are in the air (during heartseeker jump) press steal.
The “Security Issue” is that lots of people used the same password for everything.
Hackers got that one password that was used for everything from a vulnerable site via heartbleed.
Hackers then simply entered the user name and password and stole the account.If your account was hacked, it was because YOU didn’t follow the basic rules of using the internet:
#1. LONG passwords + Complexity = Security
#2. NEVER, EVER, for ANY reason should you use the same password twice
#3. Always assume links in emails are BAD, especially if you didn’t request the email.
#4. Every website is infected. Repeat that to yourself. Again. Let it sink in. Every website is infected. What do you do after visiting an infected website? You run a scan. Do it. Do it because every website is infected.

Not a single problem in almost 2 years and recently, in less than 1 month 3 of my friends had their account hacked.
It is obviously a security issue: something ANet is not aware of and can not fix.
Let’s hope they can at least give items back, since they cannot grant accounts’ security.

La gilda è attiva principalmente in WvW (ma si fa anche altro) dalle 21.00 alle 0.00.
Pertanto cerchiamo una persona che:
- usi il guardian come main pg
- sia interessato al roaming in WvW fatto in 2/3 gruppi al massimo
- sia disposto a modificare la propria build per adattarla alle esigenze del gruppo
- utilizzi TS3
Malgrado il tono serio del post, siamo un gruppo di persone che giocano per divertirsi e il divertimento resta il target principale.

I wanted to stop by and say thanks for the feedback. We do feel that the celestial stat set will be hit the hardest with the upcoming critical damage changes, so we are looking at possibly boosting the overall stats by a small amount.
Also the celestial stat set in PvP is using a much lower stat multipliers than the PvE versions so we will be looking at changing this as well. Nothing is set in stone, but I wanted to let guys know this is something we are discussing.
You should give ppl the chance to choose new stats (as you did with magic find) … at least for ascended stuff.
