I really hope a lot of ppl will roll a warr … when wvw population will be 80% warriors, devs will maybe ask themselves “why everyone is playing a warrior ? Maybe because it’s OP?” and nerf them (or buff others)

The change they did to stun rounding hit Pistol Whip really hard. The stun used to last through the first two sword swings, but now it’s over before the first blow even hits.

we use sPvP to test combos, traits, or other stuff to bring to wvw and honestly the fact that sometime the match ends it’s a waste of time.

Your equip seems to be random with almost no optimization and I think you are not very effective. I mean, there is a lot of trolling but few kills.
Kill Shot is a highly telegraphed channel. It’s fine.
Maybe in a 1v1 environement. In a group fight it’s not fine.

I think venoms are poorly designed.
They are too weak compared to other skills even traited.
Maybe if they’ll become unblockable… i mean just the venom application, so the attack can be blocked but the venom part cannot.
I enjoy playing my thief, so I don’t get the fuss. Then again, I don’t rely on perma stealth, so the nerfs don’t affect me.

Personally I don’t think hybrid is viable and that’s why I think each weapon set should be designed for a precise purpose.
If you’d like to go hybrid, he can choose 2 different weapon sets (1 condition – 1 power) and switch them, but if you want to go power o precision you’ll have more suitable skills
a separation between single target/aoe would also be nice.
1: single target direct damage / small poison part
2: single target direct damage / gap closer
3: 3 targets condition / evade
4: 4 targets direct damage / cripple
5: single target direct damage / stealth
to me 3 and 4 should be reworked to better fit in a single target burst weapon set.

the right counter to stealth would have been letting the ranger “see” the stealthed thief, not put revealed on thief.
They should have countered “invisibility” not the only way to regen hp, have opener, remove condition (oh wait, they nerfed it) ….

Engineers have stealth, Mesmers have stealth, Rangers have stealth. Any smuck that happens across a smoke-field with a leap or blast has stealth.
they don’t have a trait line + traits in other lines dedicated to stealth + specific abilities that can be used only when stealthed.
also they have other ways to keep alive.
thieves have good melee burst (not the best) and … low health, low armor, low access to boons, no immunities ….
we have stealth and they are taking it away because noobs’ endless QQ.
I wonder what will you cry for once we won’t stealth but still crush you.

I think the dmg scaling should be changed from % of enemy hp left to distance from enemy when casted, the longer the distance the more the dmg.
That way it rewards timing and positioning, not pressing it over and over again
ahahaha that would be great for 1 shot HS.
i mean: 1500 range —> heartseeker + steal (traited) = kaboom!

progression is good , more skills/stats are good IF the way to obtain them is right.
not a random aoe spam, no PvD, no point for capture but just for kills and assigned on the number of allies/enemies involved in the fight.

There are tons of games out there that give stats and more stats and make stats the decisive point in PvP, Gw2 could be the first one to take a different step so yes, it would be progress and something to aim for instead of falling down the path of every other MMO pvp and why the PvP in those games sucks
If you want stats to carry you instead of your own ability to play pick up any MMO on the market right now and BAM you got it.

Scrubs rely on permastealth. For the good of the class, the ability to permastealth should be removed, sorry.
there is a great difference between perma-stealth and 0-stealth.
I agree that perma-stealth should be removed, an internal cooldown on smoke field + leap should be enough.
Screw up tons of abilities of a class is simply wrong.
Skills should be countered one by one , not 1 counter for 6 -7 skills
Or give thieves immunity and better access to boons.
