In regards with Tornado, I haven’t used it in ages so I don’t actually know, but maybe get rid of crippling, chill and immobilizing effects if you haven’t done already, and increase the movement skill by a fair amount so we can freely act like a genuine tornado.

Happening to my team for a few mins now on legacy of the foefire. It was fine before. Loads of error messages and dcs :/
WASD, jump and dodge still on default. 1-6 still the same.
Utilities 1 and 3 are now the 2 buttons on my mouse, while utility 2 is the mouse wheel. My elite skill is now Ctrl+mouse wheel.
Not many changes, but I still remember playing with the same default keys for the most part of the first year. Good times.
Ah and the F1-F4 are still the same. It doesn’t hurt my hand trying to reach it during a fight :P

I actually forgot how the old Magnetic Grasp was like… But this current one is the most annoying sh#t ever. Opponent is in front of me moving to the side and the skill manages to get “out of range”.

Update: The might stacks are only noticeable with my build if I use something like Fire Runes. They synergize well with the build but taking away Traveler runes loses a ton of mobility. Starting to think maybe 6 in Fire isn’t even worth it right now.
Might stacks are beneficial because it increases power and condition damage. Blind is beneficial as it can make enemies miss the skills that really hurt like Eviscerate or a backstab or something you know.
So it is really up to you what you want more
You guys are right. It doesn’t feel much different from before, but the new signet change is a godsend, especially earth. I feel extremely confident going into a 1vX fight now with the earth signet change (5 stacks bleed) than before. Even after I uploaded this I was fighting 2 pistol thieves and it wasn’t much trouble.
Lol Necrotize :P kpop is the best genre. Recently I’ve starting a lot in earth either because I want to immobilize them and use a skill to its full effect or reflect ranger bursts. I think before that I would start in water to chill with focus #4 so they wouldn’t come close to me as quickly, and I could do a lot of my skills.

FYI if you turn 41m karma into linen you have about 4k gold.
That would take a long Long LONG time. Assuming you can turn 500k karma to linen a hour that would still take 80 hours of none stop clicking. At current prices you can get 15-26gold per hour from karma to linen. Depending if you have a mystic forge conduit so you do not have to port and if you get to bored to continue clicking. The main thing I notice is Diamond legend but only 1gold from farming all of that.

Why is it that when I use Magnetic Grasp in range it misses 95% of the time? I also noticed when using Evasive Arcana that when I tried to blast a field with my Earth dodge roll I would sometimes press 3 quickly (second phase skill MG) so that I could leap through my fire field and that would cancel out the blast finisher of EA. Is this intended or was it because I potentially spammed the 2nd part of the MG skill?
Onto Lightning Touch as someone else has mentioned. Only thing it does is give weakness. Compare it to the other 2nd slot skills for other attunements; Fire does damage/burning, Water heals/damage and Earth does damage/bleed/blocks projectiles too apparently. Why does this skill lacks sufficient damage or abilities like other attunement skills?
Focus. I think there’s nothing wrong with it with the exception of Flame Wall. I don’t want to use this skill, it bores me. Takes a bit of time to cast and for what? A line on the floor that stays longer than your Burning Speed. Sure that can be nice when you want to leap through it for fury/protection/Fire Aura, but I think it needs something new, possibly a rework.
Since everyone is posting their hours, I have over 4,400 hours on my elementalist.

Purple Miku, you are wrong. Elementalists are not so reliant on Earth Attunement to stack bleeds. There are sigils and runes available that produce bleeding and increase the duration. For a condition build you don’t need to go into Earth; Fire is also good even for PvE. If you want to keep your burning up there are Fire traits that do burning on critical hits and all sorts of other methods of keeping it up.
You don’t need to invest your whole build into condition damage, just have enough so that Sigil of Battle can help you out when you swap attunement. Also good to blast your fire fields all the time.
As you for saying ranger and warrior are better, I disagree a little. Sure they can use some conditions Eles cant, but we are still good; nobody really gives it a try that’s all.

Before the nerf you could cast armor of earth, use other stun breakers, use your elite and heal while in it.
They nerfed those 4 things in a snap without think 1 seconds about all the gameplay combos they would break and ruin. Even a year after it playing an ele isn’t as fun as it used to be.
Those were the days when I was a scrub playing ele in WvW. I would give anything to go back to that. Miss the heals in mist form and easy elite pop to run.
Has anyone here even played ele in wvw before ? Because you would have realised that Tornado is the only viable one in zerg fights. Its only used to buff the damage of Meteor Shower since it grants you like 2x the power and 50% crit chance. Ele doesnt need buffs since its by far the strongest class from a survival standpoint, we just need options because it gets a bit boring with only 1 viable spec for wvw and also no rune which fits nice except maybe scholar or rage

I still fail to see how Static Fields and Line of Wardings are able to block the path of someone in Mist Form.
We “morph into an invulnerable, vaporous mist for a brief time”. I’m sure that word in bold means to be immune to attacks i.e. incapable of being damaged or captured, so why is it that we always get caught?
Either fix this unintended bug A-net or continue adding skill tooltips as you are so very fond of doing. It bugs me to be blocked by a stupid line on the floor when I’m literally mist in the air.
Really??? Don’t like 12K Eviscerates? Then stop running around with 1800 armor seriously. It is kind of funny that these are the kind of people that are complaining. Don’t run glass then, or if you do, don’t complain if you get hit that hard.

Another Warrior 60 second cd elite… no thanks. Why is it that Warriors/Thieves/Necromancers are allowed to have 60 second cool-downs?
Take a look at Rangers/Elementalists/Engineers; our elites range from 120-180 seconds, whereas Guardians/Mesmers have elites that go from 90-210 seconds (210s mesmer only.)
Another thing I’d like to say is with all these long elite times the 6/6 elite runes are kinda useless. I tried them and won’t be using them again, there’s no point if I’m waiting 150-180 seconds for the main sh#t to pop up while fighting 1 vs whatever number.
We just need to l2p.

Yeah this is an interesting issue – unless there are brand-new weapon types released so that each class has at least one new 5-skill set, there’s nothing else that can be really given to Warriors – they can’t wield scepters, foci, staves, pistols without breaking their theme, so the only real option from current weapons is the Torch.
Maybe give them off-hand dagger, who knows? I don’t understand why warriors are allowed to use longbow

I don’t pve much so I cant comment on that. In WvW I am solo roaming most of the time. I can handle myself well if there are 2 or 3 more players attacking me at once, but I’m heavily reliant on my FGS so that I can escape. Once I drop that or it runs out it’s game over for me (if they catch up or new group appears).
I like to think I’m useful when I’m zerging because they always need waterfields and statics. If they think I’m hitting like a wet noodle then they are wrong. We can also do lots of damage while providing support. Also, we are the main targets of snipers whilst zerging/roaming. If you aren’t getting targeted by the latter then count yourself lucky because you will survive the whole fight and run away with the commander when things go bad, haha.

Suggestion:
Elements Within: 120 seconds recharge 10 seconds duration
Gain boons and stats based on your current attunement.
Fire: +300 power, extends every conditions by 10 seconds in 240 radius of you target and gain 10 stack Might and Fury for 10 seconds.
Air: +300 precision, +30% crit damage and gain Quickness and Superspeed for 5 seconds.
Earth: +300 toughness, +300 condition damage and gain Stability and Protection for 10 sec.
Water: +300 healing power and vitality, extends every boon you have by 10 seconds and removes a condition from 5 man around you (240 radius) every second.(I"m not happy with the Fire one :P What do you guys think?)

Would definitely be an elite that I’d be using all the time! One thing that worries me is the cooldown though… I’d like for us to have at least one elite that has a reasonable cooldown so we can work with runes that function by elite-activation.
