Sea of Sorrows will lose alot of points
if you spam vunrablity on the npc it will die in seconds

people dont read posts this long if you have been on MMORPG’s for long u would know this
Engineer can also use “jump shot” to make it impossible to fail jumping puzzles and bypass large parts of them
best thing about Engineer in WvW is you can walk up to the door and use your flame thrower to damage stuff on the other side
you can even run outside click on the ram run back inside go to the door and auto attack the ram on the other side of the door
the best way for golems to be used is trying to hide their approach and less then 5 people go with the golems and go for the back door something that’s not checked on much
if there are 5 or less players in combat you wont show up as a big battle icon saying HEY COME OVER HERE CHECK THIS SPOT SOMETHING IS GOING ON HEY
so you could take 2-3 golems with 2-3 players and attack a back gate and break in before the other team even knows what’s happening
then its just a matter of who can fall back faster 1 team to defend the keep or 1 team to get inside the inner walls and stop the other manning the siege defence’s
whoever used 14 golems on a main attack has no idea what hes doing
Daish can see Sea of Sorrows coming last this week very easy
Daish checked out 2 Boarderland maps today and the players and Commanders had no idea what they were doing
it was very sad
players on SOS do not seem to understand that restart is on Sat for Oceanic players and Friday for US players thats the only reason for our higher score at the moment
that would promote teams to go after the weaker on the server 2v1

so if there is 5 player on blue and 2 on green red will still get 20 players in
the cap will only work for the team with the most players
red has 25 players
blue has 20 players

the weaker teams if they have decent commanders are more likely to attack the stronger team
this will help spread out the population and also make the game more enjoyable for the larger servers
joining a WvW game and your server owns 100% of the map and the other teams have left after u have spent a hour in a queue = not fun at all even if your server is winning you would have to be a idiot to think this is enjoyable
Daish plays a Engineer for his main just getting sick running into the enemy trying to get his server to follow instead of hanging back
so Daish dies alot so Daish is wondering if playing a Guardian would be better for a Commander it can buff players and stay alive longer then a Engineer
but no way in hell Daish is going to spend another 100 gold
Daish would rather go play planetside 2 instead
The fact the commander title is a money sink is itself kitten It should be a community vote thing. Say 10 commanders per server?
you can already turn Commanders icons off by joining a 1 of the Commanders Squads it will turn the rest off
Daish thinks thats a bad idea there should be some kind of player vote system and the top 3 should be shown on the map (but you need a Commander Token before you can be voted for)

Orbs should give buffs that don’t affect combat because currently they give a ridiculous buff to HP. +30% HP might not seem like a big deal but consider even with equal sized armies that the whole enemy force has 30% more HP than yours. Two armies meet in the open field and one has hundreds of thousands more HP, who do you think will win? It only gets worse when a defender has that extra wall of HP. This in my opinion is the biggest snowball problem next to free server transfers.

Daish is almost up to 800k Karma / 248 Skill points that’s with only 62% World Completion and Daish wants to play 1 of his other level 80 characters in WvW
but Daish would lose his Commander icon and there is no way Daish is going to spend another 100g Daish would rather quit the game
can Anet make the Commander tag bind to the account and not just the 1 Character but you have to be level 80 to press the “Create Squad” button
if your not listening to what the Commanders are saying and are provokeing the other weaker team to attack you and start a fight that opens a window for the stronger team to capture 100% of the map

Please tell me this is some form of sarcasm. Can you show me an NA matchup where this is actually working as intented? The only one that I could possibly think of is Kaineng and (possibly) the NSP matchup. Sadly, transfers have screwed these matchups up so badly that it’s hard to even tell.

No, I haven’t actually played on every server. I’m not really sure if I should even bother responding to this. While what you’re saying sounds great in theory, it’s much less cut and dry in practice. One of the reasons for this is because organizing two servers to compete against the winning side is quite difficult. It’s actually easier to take towers and supply camps from the other server that is already “down.”
Additionally, the week matchups and scoring system really make it difficult to form alliances to take on the stronger server. The matches are dynamic, and what do you do if one of the two “underdog” servers gets on top? Do you instantly call off the truce and slaughter each other? In DAOC, you knew who the strongest server was. If you didn’t work to change things, you were stuck in your matchup for eternity. Things were enver going to change unless you did ti yourself. In WvW, if you simply wait a week, the change will be made for you. Simply put, it isn’t worth the effort for a lot of people in WvW to form these alliances, especially with the free server transfers. Is this a people problem? Perhaps, but what do you think is easier to change, the free transfer and orb snowballing systems, or changing the mindset of every player that logs in to play a video game?

its not a Alliance you cant take their part of the map
you need to sacrafice whatever their part of the map is
say its a boarderlands their part of the map is tower/keep or towerx2/garrison
your Commanders are jokes if they cant maniupulate the other servers into helping destory the stronger 1
if you end up taking the stronger team out then you take out the weaker server that just helped you by being a distraction and you capture the whole map

No, that is the opposite of what happens. When one team owns all the orbs the two teams without them are encouraged to fight each other more than they are to fight the team with 3 orbs. Why? Because it is easier ti fight the team that does not have +150 to all stats and +15% health each. The stats on the orbs only encourage infighting between the losing factions, which is one of the reasons the tactic you talk about is so rare in WvW.

the alter in a keep my server owned was destoryed
i picked the orb up then placed it back in the 0% hp destoryed on the ground alter
it repaired the alter back to 5% hp the alter then slowly regained hp back to 100%
combat swords on the map will apear if more then 5 players are in combat and close to eachother
Commander icon is so you can see where your players are on the map hes leading them
there would be a major issue with spy accounts and cheating if every player showed upon the map
maybe the issue here is your walking around alone

the stronger the orbs are the more chance of the 2 servers without the orb going for the server with the orb
the orb really helps to balance out the game making it weaker/worthless would be like cuting yourself
getting a foothold in a 1v1v1 is very easy
getting a foothold in a 1v1 is hard
The real problem here is invisible enemies. Give their algorithms time to match servers properly.

invisable players seems to be getting worse ive ive been attacked and slowly killed by invisable players now over 10-20 seconds i can see the invisable projecties “arrows” flying though the air hitting me
not just the instant invisable zerg killed in 1-2 seconds then i can see them type
you can see what guild kills you

hackers and bot users in “World of Warcraft” tell the stupid staff that their account was hacked and it was not them and they get it back 100% of the time

there is a hacker on Fort aspenwood opening portals for the players to bypass walls with
the hacker was on Sea of Sorrows first but we told them to leave and were not going to use their portals to cheat
he then said he was going to transfer to Fort aspenwood and help them bypass walls
i dont remember the name of the player but i reported it was a bot
the players who make the choice to take the hackers portal are just as guilty as the person teleporting around and need to be given a warning or temp ban

yeah WvW is becoming extreamly unenjoyable on servers without max population 24/7
they need to do something now before people leave the game
gamers are not the type of people who will come back and give something a 2nd chance

because of the lower population joining WvW there needs to be a balance system

I love being grossly outnumbered. It makes every success my team achieves feel like a real victory. I understand that this can get old quick for servers where there is a chronic population deficit, but I don’t feel that this is a reason to create longer wait times for other people. Punishing players is never the right answer.

if players/guilds are really into WvW there is nothing stoping them from transfering their home server to play in a lower population server
There do not need to be limits. There need to be servers full of people who aren’t quitters; who refuse to give up when they start falling behind.
You do not fix psychological shortcomings with game mechanics.
If it’s that imbalanced, it didn’t start that way. It wound up that way because the people on the losing teams are quitters, plain and simple. They don’t want to lose, they don’t like to lose. Their solution to losing is to quit. They fail to realize that if they don’t want to lose, they should fight to win.

also if you don’t show up to fight you should lose. this kind of queing locks people out of content due to other peoples choices you simply can’t do this.
People are already getting locked out of content due to other people’s choices. What do you think the weekend queue times look like on HoD, for instance?

no that would be horrible it never even worked in WoW they ended up removing it
if you have the outmanned buff you need to leave that boarderlands and try get your server to group up in 1 map instead of spreading out between the 4
longer matchups force people to work togeather to take down upgraded buildings instead of waiting for a restart
shorter matchups cause people to move to the higher population servers

night capping is only a problem because of how unbalanced the servers get when they are not full
there needs to be limits on the servers that lets players know they can hold stuff and still have a chance when they are out numbered
if the lower population servers have 20 players and 15 players the high population server should only have 20+15 players MAX alowed to enter the server
so that would give 35 players MAX even if they had 150 players queued up unless players from the lower teams queued up
if players from the lower teams leave the cap for the Max Population team would shrink but players would not be removed from the game
this would mean late night players can defend without any major issues and not just be like “$#&@ this we have no chance lets leave” and have everything whiped out like what is currently happening
like that instanced puzzle the burning legion 1
they could make only 1 jumping puzzle instead of 3x as well nobody wants to do it 3x a day
