You can tell (and see) where your character is by watching the mini-map in the PvP Lobby (and anywhere else the camera sticks while waiting to render everything).

This is an old bug that first appeared when Culling was introduces way back when…they fixed it then; hopefully, they will fix it again…soon.

Rangers could get alot of new pets! Gryphons(Hey ogres have them) Raptors(again ogres), Llamas, Colatal?i think they are? those things with the wings, those would be neat to have!

Not really judging, but I wouldn’t have spent $300-500 on an in game item, would have rather got her a different gift – if she’s into gaming, a graphics card or something/gaming keyboard+mouse/an awesome chair.

To be fair, it was only 75$(25$ per person, not that much) and shes not into gaming, shes into GW2. she plays other games, but she loves GW2 over any other game(and she plays it the most, when she has the time). You can chose what precursor you want to work towards so you get the legendary you want first and the continue and get them all in time.
You will probabely be one of the few to make all the legendarys and not have to worry about a rng drop at all.

Masteries are made to be region-specific, but there will be masteries other than gliding, mushroom jumping, and frog-talking, including some in old Tyria. They have yet to give further details, stay tuned.

Yesterday while doing “The Stone Sheath” it was not allowing me to pick up more than 1 dwarven relic and to progress the name you have to pick up a certain amount before the sheath shows up(For the first try through). The second try through it was not allowing me to pick up the stone sheath. I did it get it on the third try though.

I read that as, “I like collecting and using the rarest items in game that few people have and are desired by the vast majority”

Much like in GW1, i spent a good extra 4 months playing that game just so i could get a voltaic spear, by not buying it. I wanted to be one of those who got it from a drop! But the RNG in that game was much better, but the feeling of getting somethingthat you want and is very rare is still great!

Just no, id rather wait for an extra 6 months and get a full working product.

Most people wont even bother clicking on all caps thread, and i know fact that mods and devs wont even touch them.

4.) Sort of proving your point. Some games have them, some do not. If you want them, suggest it be added.

5.) My first response was bit rude ill admit that, but so to was your original post(the all caps one). For my response, ill apologize though, if you take or not is up to you, but i do apologize.

6.) It wont get deleted if you do it respectfully(IE not all caps, no raging etc)! unlike your first thread here! And it not being a thing for 2.5 years doesnt mean its a bug, just means it was never in the game to begin with(which could be a good and a bad thing)! The problem he described was gold transfers between personal guild bank. So, yeah maybe he was getting gold emails as well. However, if that was the case he would not even know he got the dye email until he was able to clear the gold emails.

Well, unless its bugged at the moment to not allow you to take any mail out of the mail after you hit the cap. I dont suppose that would be possible would it? i wont ever 500 gold, so i cant test it.

I have played alot of MMOS. World of tanks(You have 2-5 minutes to get back in). GW1 you had 15 seconds to 1 minute to get back in, if it let you do it period, the reconnect feature there was very finnicky. GW2. EXTEEL And those are the ONLY ones that do it that i have played. So i suppose i shouldnt have said all mmos i have played, just a large portion do not allow reconnects.

This is NOT a bug. and it SHOULD NOT be in the BUG section however. You should post this as a [Suggestion] In the general discussion thread, im actually quite sure more than a few would agree with you and like to see this implemented. And i am far from a troll. I despise trolls, they ruin the forums, they dont allow any progress to be made in the game either.

If you want this changed, post a suggestion and bump the topic every so often. If a dev likes the idea, and its physically possible, it will be implemented.

Difference is, im doing it at my own pace when i want to do the content. Hes going to use scrolls insta level his character, do the entire HOT and all the masteries as soon as they are available, and then have..nothing to do, and then probably(Most people who do this do the following)blame ANET for not adding enough content… Meanwhile, Ill still be doing that content probably weeks or months after hes done, not rushing through it, getting the masteries as i get them, as i want to get them.

Call me impatient or whatever, but I’m SO over waiting for the expansion now. I mean, when most games announce something so big, usually they have a price and a release date which follows the announcement, and with most new legendaries for HoT not even being in the beginning stages of conception, worries me a lot.

I have enough stuff to level the Revenant to 80, the mats necessary to instantly gear it in full ascended of any stat but Zealot, and I’m amassing spare Tomes to instantly max mastery points as I unlock them, while waiting.

At this rate, I’ll probably be able to max out the character within hours of the expack’s release, as will many, many others.

You are honestly probably not the majority. Im not saying there arent alot of you who will do that. But there are many many more who do not, or will not do that. I know i wont be. Why? i just dont have the tomes to level my characters nor will i by the time HOT gets released. I still have stuff to do in the base game, even after 3000 hours played. Get all my characters stories done, both living world and PS. Get all mapping done, get all the PVE achievements, get all the dungeon achievements.

I have no clue how people have nothing to do, but if you want to rush through any content they add to the game that is your choice, and while there is nothing wrong with it, it just doesnt seem as fun to me!

How do you define this locking of your mind to the Dream?

The reason I ask, is that we have examples of characters who were part of the Dream, but later make the choice to switch to the Nightmare Court. Or is the Nightmare Court still considered part of the dream, just the dark side? I figured the existence of the Nightmare Court was Mordremoth’s influence reaching through the dream to ensnare some. I’m not really a lorehound, so I only know what I’ve encountered through personal story.

At any rate, insisting on some sort of “once and for all” sure is a limiting choice for story possibilities. I’d always hoped to that Caithe’s insistence that no one can ever be brought back from Nightmare is her personal bias, and not objective canon.

After all, imagine Star Wars if no one could ever be brought back from the Dark Side of the force.

Redemption stories are the most powerful, and the choice to stay good is always more interesting if there is still a chance to fall.

I dont think the nightmare are part of the dream anymore, What they interpret as the Dream may very well be nothing more than the Dragons influence on them since they arent part of the Pale Trees Dream, they could very well have done what the soundless did and turned(More than once its hinted that the nightmare court raid Soundless villages. Hell, they even have a heart quest dedicated to it). Think about, what do the nightmare court want above all else? They want to see the pale tree destroyed. You know who else does? The Dragon Mordremoth, as its stopping probably the most powerful of his minions from being under his control. Oh! Something else i just thought of, the nightmare tree, in the twilight arbor looks in coloration very close to one of Mordremoths minions, i know its older than his new ones and looks slightly different but still!

In the video they show Faolin fighting the pact troops, so will she come back as a heroine or a villain? She was the leader of the nightmare court after-all, and Caithe chased her out of Twilight Arbor. Maybe she found the dragon and her lack of protection allowed the dragon to take her over. Perhaps maybe she found the dragon and realized how wrong she was, when it came to the pale tree and she fled, but was attacked by the Pack for looking like the Sylvari who turned on the battlefield after the ambush.

Its her im more interested in than Traehearne, i dont think hes dead, and i dont think he will have turned. Maybe i will be proven wrong. But i would rather we find him alive and fine and have to help him, and get to see Faolin again and maybe get to see her redemption if thats what they have planned!

Oh please dont start this in game…i have to put up with this enough IRL…

One legendary to my name, got it 5 months ago after farming dungeons for a month, and i have another precursor, that i got by farming gold from SW, donations from lovely guild mates <3 and farming dungeons(Neither of my legendarys are among the most common). Been playing for 942 days, with about 2800 hours played.

My mother has 1 precursor(will seen be a legendary), that i bought her as a Christmas present. Been playing for more days than i have. with about 4000 hours played.

My dad has 0 precursors or legendarys. Been playing the same amount of days as my mom, but only about 1500 hours played.

But people who just started playing have gotten precursor drops…RNG is so fun..

Well, at one time way back when the fight was so hard it was impossible.(I could swear this was true) And if so its a classic case of over nerfing which happens alot in MMOs. hopefully it gets tinkered with, a little bit. As its really not that epic anymore!

They have too many strange restrictions on the skills you can use. My necro’s shadow and bone fiends can be summoned underwater but not my flesh golem. My ele can have an AOE field that boils the water but my necro can’t have an AOE skill that makes the water at a spot poisonous. My necro can become a virulent cloud but not a Lich underwater. The ele is even worse off with their elites. Out of their 4 elites, only one can be used underwater. My necro can summon minions, but the ele can’t summon elementals. My guardian can summon spirit weapons but my ele can’t summon weapons.

It’s these strange and inconsistent restrictions on the skills you can use that, imo cause people to dislike water combat. If I’m used to using a set of skill on land and those are denied me in water and I have to use a much smaller set of skills, then underwater combat will not be as fun.

Pretty much all my problems with underwater content!

And yet, they fixed Charr footprints.

Also, as opposed to Charr tail-clipping, where the issue requires redesigns of each individual armor, this is more of a universal problem how the item is positioned on Asura, regardless of model.

After 2 years….after 2 years they fixed it…and we had clipping issues with main hand swords for another year(And just about every single main hand weapon).. or should i say, our paws werent holding onto the sword at all in some cases…
And oh god the clipping issues, not just tail clipping, but in general. We have armor that clips through our chest, head, shoulders, arms, legs. Our backpieces float or clip, Our weapons will stowed will clip through our bodys and armor…just like yours.. (Still needs to get fixed, just saying charr have a ton of issues!)

Honestly no we shouldnt. No Class mechanic should ever be broken for any length of time in such a way that it inhibits playing that class. i was kicked from 4 dungeons tonight because i was ranger.(Yay! This seems so familiar from last time!) Groups mind you, that i had started, that i had posted in the LFG tool.

Am i aware it happens? Yes, and it should always be on the highest priority of bug fixes possible, which if it isnt already on that list ill be surprised.

I don’t think they need reasons, they seem to be in tunnel vision mode since the release of this game. GvG CDI? New dungeons? New player’s experience? Trait system?

It’s unbelievable that a Guild Wars game still doesn’t have GvG, and the stuff they made instead, like SAB, was removed!

I noticed the lack of GvG. If I didn’t know any better I never would have guessed the game has been out as long as it has. I definitely got my 15 dollars out of it, but man I’d be upset if I got the game at launch. But I’m getting off topic.

Guild wars has nothing to do with GVG stop thinking that. “Guild Wars” the name of the game is based off a war between the various guilds at the time in Tyria. Orr, Kryta, Ascalon being those. Not GVG the PVP mode.(Still on the side of wanting it back, but neither of these posts are useful, and for that matter neither is this one)

Dredging up the past(Priory level 40 PS) Is broken, the cut scene that is supposed to play isnt playing(Okay it played the second time), and Kekt and Siren arent talking to each other. They do talk to me, well at least Kekt does.

I got a letter in my mail, but it doesnt do anything even after reading.
