i was actually surprised at the lack of unique drops from dungeons.

GW1 had plenty, the Voltaic spear, The emerald blade, the frog scepter, etc etc…

why didnt they pull peoples favorite skins from the dungeons in GW1 and add them in to GW2? i spent days farming slavers exile for a Voltaic spear. here i dont see the need to do dungeons unless i want free armor

Did you speak to BOTH of the NPC’s standing next to the base of the tower the vista is on top of (by the Skill Point Challenge)? You MUST speak to BOTH of those NPC’s before the cow catapult can be used by you.

yes, several times and still nothing.

Edit: tried it again just now and still broken after talking to both npcs

Seems like this particular vista/event is constantly being broken. I’ve seen it working only to come back with another character a day later and not be able to interact with it at all.

I do wish the devs would just do something to make it work on a regular basis. From some of the earlier posts I saw I think it is connected to other events in the region, but not sure.

what other events if i may ask?

get rid of the jumping bit and i would go with this, not that i cant jump because i can. i just hate doing it…..

make it so that a person has to do every single world event in every region, the Dragons, Shadow Behemoth, capturing some of the towns from the centaurs etc. each only needs to be done once and after doing them all you get a token

that would bring people into regions that are pretty empty most of the time

i think this should be in the suggestion area not in the bug section

i can confirm that this is on Fergusons Crossing as well 1 enemy left cant find him

Ah. I’m on Eredon Terrace and it worked fine when I was there recently, perhaps it is bugged on your server. I hope they eventually get around to fixing it. Last time it was busted on my server it took 4 months to get it working again…4 months of many people not being able to get zone completion on multiple characters. They should just remove it and move the vista or let people go up some stairs to the top.

that would be nice, i mean there is a gate from the top to bottom already made, so it would be easy to make it work opposite as well

To interact with the cow-a-pult, you must go to the front of it and interact…not the back, which is counter-intuitive as it loads from the back where one would expect to ‘get in’ at. But nope, head to the front after he’s done launching cows and interact and you get launched.

tried that nothing happens, the event doesnt start nothing, the catapult cant be interacted with

edit: ive walked around the catapult pressing the F key and nothing it happens at all

The cow catapult out in Diessa Plateau is broken on my server( Fergusons Crossing). i cant interact with it, and after 1 hour of standing around the event has not spawned either. Both npcs are there Mad Mardine and Tigh Snatchskull. if you talk to Tigh he says he needs to get more cows, but never moves.

so maybe the char mid teens look slightly like weird, not like we usually see the whole maturing process for the charr anyways.

Doubt it, charr cubs look “normal” and we all know what adult and old charr look like, so you are proposing that in the transition years between them they look this odd? No its look is deliberate; for what reason? I don’t know.

maybe disfigured in an accident or something, im sure they have a reason for going against what the charr are supposed to look like

Soooooo, ehmmmm, me buying 450 lodestones to make volcanus was silly?
Of course it was! But darn, that’s what makes the game fun, you look funky every day, I can really enjoy that element of the game. Skinwars for the win!

Next goal: 100 charged lodestones for the Wings of Dwayna! Soon, I hope.

Oh, and no, I don’t have my legendary yet, I’m missing a precursor like everyone else. But I’ll get there some day. I’m in no rush.

oh believe me my characters look funky, i have a charr that looks like a space marines armor was salvaged by beastmen.

and for crafting a weapon you want no it isnt silly, but spending 40+ gold to buy the weapon when you can take some time to craft it….is what i was getting at. if you just want to buy it thats fine, but dont understand it.

the fact that i cant where my town clothes in combat like in guild wars 1 really disappointing me…. im spending real money on your game to buy a skin i should be able to wear it anywhere i please while do anything i please!

when are the new hairs being added? the colors are there when i use my full kit but not the new hair or horns

i really really hope not, cantha is what got me into GW1 and i miss it already..

i love my ranger even though i just made it! i wish i could choose not to have a pet sometimes but, oh well yes it has its problems but they will be fixed eventually

Fergusons Crossing has a ton of charr females, all my charr are females….6 total and 1 sylvari

I was disappointed that you could die a unlimited times in dungeons, its one of the things i miss from gw1

yes please, i switch weapons quite a bit( mostly on toons that do not have level 80 exotics) so this would be nice

i went and found the armor, forgot to update post.

The shoulders are ascalon shoulders from the dungeon
The gloves are banded, and the chest seems to be plated.

no its all professions thief, ranger, mesmer, and warrior. they all look weird when running with a sword in hand. it was one of the first things i noticed about them. i dont use sword and shield because of this

Could anybody please tell me what different parts of armor she is wearing?? i know the pants are the tier 3 charr armor, but what are the shoulders, chest and gloves?

i support this, i get tired of having to search for weapons on my ele when i have a inventory full of weapons.

To late :P i thought that was the idea anyways, my dad has wanted the dwarves to be playble since the game came out. Note he plays dwarves in every game( from D&D, and neverwinter nights, to warhammer.). so i support this, just after the tengu are added – that is another topic though kekeke. good luck oh this idea, i would love to see it go through and would certainly roll a toon up

would you explain what the dodge roll bug is? i seem to be dodging and rolling just fine, on all my toons

it appears that the Auruete highlander sword, the greatsword that is clips into the middle of the charr. is annoying walking around with a big blade sticking through your toon if i do say so. The scepters are attached to the foot for some reason as well. included are a pic of the greatsword and the princess wand( i hope anyways)

sorry for the bad quality playing on a bad computer, but it hasnt happened before. and just started with the last patch,

i like the look of the outfits like the mad king outfit much more than the regular armor and would like to be able to equip weapons while im in town clothes so i can fight, maybe make it read whatever armor you are wearing as its stats. much like guild wars 1 its a costume that goes over the armor.
