The nades them self are not super imbalanced or a terrible idea it is the 25 stacks of might that go along with it. What is it? 250 power and 250 condi dmg for 25 stacks of might that is the stat gain from 50 trait points.
It’s actually 875 power/condi damage. But that’s for your entire set of runes, your heal, 2 utilities, your sigil AND 30 trait points.
It doesn’t even deal the most condi damage out there, it just deals the most overall damage of any engi build out there ATM because power scales well with nades.
The sacrifice in survivability and team support more than make up for it. Lots of top tier engis, including myself, no longer run it for that reason.

That I did. I was meaning the particular permutation of HGH that everyone knows and loves does not produce the most condi damage of specs even up the same trait lines. It simply produces the most damage total.
I’m just saying that overstate HGH’s damage potential even though it is one of the hardest hitting specs in the entire game. It’s similar to backstab thieves in a way.
Im still curious as to what spec has more condi damage than an HGH engi.

Can someone please tell me where most solo roamers are during the week??
I enjoy a lot of 1v2 but when you get to 50 repeated 1v4’s where you down 1 or 2 only to have them be rezzed it gets really annoying.
God Im so kitten ed at the fact that NO IoJ solo roam. Like maybe .001% (aka 2 people on the server). Even the half wit almost decent players all roam in groups of 4 at least, so you know, they can kill those solo roaming pests without having to worry about losing! Unfortunately they still lose a lot.

They literally WILL NOT EVER give up chasing you. If its one person being chased by 30 others, so be it, they WILL get you. it just might take an hour or so..
I dont want to be mean but kitten IoJ has a lot of people that will literally never give up chasing 1 person (Like 10 people chasing 1 guy for 5ish minutes)
BTW heaven I suggest running sigil of blood on GS and swap hand that doesn’t have life sigil. Extra life steal is always especially if running you’re current food.
Yes guards are insanely good solo roaming. Thieves are literally a joke unless they instagib you (not many can and aegis gives you a heads up) or engage you while you’re already fighting.
Personally I think flashing blade (sword 2) should give a 1s chill. Most of the time I use the skill to gap close, even with swiftness and same movement speed of my enemy, the small delay in the attack makes the enemy actually leave my attack range. This makes it so the gap closer is completely useless because I can’t even damage someone running away with1 hit. I sometimes wonder how funny it is for someone running from me, where I’m 1 foot behind him flailing my sword missing every single time.
I just wish I could get all my money needed for my precursor in less than 100x the amount of time it takes to get 500 badges. gee would that be nice.. a WvW player getting his legendary by only sometimes going to Pve like Pve players sometimes go to WvW.
Unchallenging is usually uninteresting. That’s almost always true for me. I agree with him that Pve in this game is dreadfully boring and I cannot understand what “Pve players” even do on the game.. grind grind grind?

T8 is having problems like this as well. Definitely not due to being near towers or keeps or using waypoints, as I’ve disconnected while in citadel and the mid-lake.
And sneak attacks against unorganized groups is hardly owning. Imagine g PAXA were all solo roaming for whatever reason (your thief does it) and happenedto be in the same spot and got hit by an organized sneak attack by BS. who would win? answer is obvious.

Hey guys, dueling is as easy as coloring but sneak attacking a few people barely outmanned while running an extremely coordinated group against an uncoordinated group of pugs who had no coordination shows complete skill! Yet PAXA probably remembers that SS guard who ran with the INVI group that killed them a few times over (before they started the necessary shadow refuge heals to save their asses). Not skilled..
Dude I can get my dailies in wvw almost every day. You get 3/4 just from doing random crap in WvW, then you can do the last 1 or 2 from the karma merchant, laurel vendor, mystic forge (GARRISON HAS A MF), or crafting. It’s so easy to do I never have to leave WvW except to lions arch for the laurels vendor.
lol is there a direct ratio to the amount of players and the lack of skill on a server? Im destroying everyone 1v1 on henge right now and winning most 2v1’s.. at least until theyre 10 man group of backup that have nothing better to do show up or someone mans the 10 arrow carts and 5 cannons lol
Yes, a dead Mesmer that we had to sit on for an entire boring hour. I mean, seeing all the talk of these epic battles going on in map chat was nothing compared to the excitement of standing around a corpse. It got so exciting, that I actually ported back to the citadel just so I could waste 15 badges on a stealth trap and run all the way back. ANet needs to just let me burn the zombie corpses.

Yeah FC commanders can be pretty ridiculous.. ET might have saw the dead mesmer and me inside of their bay last night waiting for a kitten commander to come over so we could portal them in, but after a whole hour no one could send 10 people for a free bay cap. I mean come on.. that’s ridiculous.
Same thing happened last week, HoD comes out with ~3x the amount of ET and FC combined while moving around constantly making it seem like theres 6 trillion of them. They’ll probably all die off like last week..

To all HoD players: you deserve losing terribly to Ferguson’s Crossing right now. While you may outnumber us daily on the battlefield, your entire server is glass and the level of organization held by your zergs is laughable. While Eredon Terrace may not yet have the same community strength that we Fergs boast, they at least work together to utilize what little numbers they have to their favor. The “HoDomination” you once so proudly bragged over was merely the illusion of mindless zerging— where are your fair-weather battlers now, pray tell?
Your “strategic” plays are moronic (Borderlands over Battleground camps, idiots), your community’s strength is hilariously pathetic (that new PvE content sure is exciting, eh?), and the only thing your server can boast over now is the number of players you possess— mindless players, but still players. You don’t deserve to be green, or even blue, within this tier. The only color your players should, and will, have is red. At least then the rest of the higher tiered servers can have a model example of what happens when a server lacks any sense of teamwork and commitment.
So read what I’ve said, get all worked up with, “YOU’LL SEE, WE’LL BEAT YOU SOON ENOUGH!”; it still won’t be enough. Your reliance on pure numbers has put you in a rut that will take quite a few weeks to get out of. Enjoy the Valley garrison while you can— Eredon Terrace will be claiming it back very soon.
