god I hate when people say we just need to learn more.. as if it’s anything besides numbers and coverage. it’s especially annoying when the majority of FC has been complaining about absolutely no skill across both enemy servers besides PD and a few there from Abyss

If Anet wanted to change how the siege weapons work. They would set you to first person POV, instead of letting you zoom back out of relatively close to first person pov. Until they do, then all your arguments are moot points.

Since there has been no official response as to how the ac is supposed to be operated, then we have to assume that it is working as intended. And with that in mind, then how one is able to operate any siege weapon within the confines of the determined environment, is how it has been designed to be used.

I posted a screen shot on how to make the shots that DH has been doing. Then it was infracted and deleted. Then the moderator thanked me for sharing the exploit but to send it to exploits@arenanet and not the forums so it doesn’t become public.

so yes they obviously support what DH is doing.

Firstly, I looked to see if there was a sticky thread or merged thread about this since I know it’s common, but I didn’t see anything. Sorry if I missed a thread dedicated to this.
Anyway, around 2-3 months ago I was forced to change my name after several players reported me for completely different reasons than my character name. You could say it was because they just didn’t like me and they heard that if they mass report someone enough for character names that they’re almost always forced to change names, but I don’t think that’s really true. My character account was “Xr Moobs”, which was a play off my earlier character “Mr Moobs”. I was also forced to change my character name on every character that had the word “Moob” in it (6 of 8 of my characters). I would like to request for this to be looked at again, as I don’t really think it’s that much of an offensive name.

P.S the reason I haven’t posted a thread much earlier is because Gaile was on vacation at the time.

But at this point ANet needs to give up with enticing players to move to lower population servers and just wipe out the entire bottom bracket and merge those servers with different ones.

ET, FC, and AR are probably the 3 lowest population servers. Each are bleeding players every day to higher population ones because ANet keeps pairing these servers up against others with 2, 3, or 4 times the population. I’m confident that if any of these 3 servers had real coverage for the midnight to 8am timeframe they’d have no problem rising through the ranks. But when you’re outmanned at even your prime time? Come on…. something needs to be done.

we dont really mind being outmanned at prime because when we field around 30 we usually wipe anything they throw at us.. but yeah I wish we had some overnight/morning coverage.

Gotta organise, on Kaineng we don’t have the numbers to match other servers but we trained all guilds and pugs to all basic WvW strategies like moving in groups, fire/water field, buffs and combo.

Its working very well, whats killing us on the ranking its our lack of 24h coverage. so we end up losing, but on the battlefield, most of the time we win the fights when outnumbered most of the time.

by outplaying your enemies you may counter their number. just gotta organise with everyone for this.

It’s gone so well over here, we had few ppl who started to join Kaineng even tho we ain’t high pop top of the list server.

A guild even asked us to pool them golds to help them transfer and most guilds contributed.

so Yeah Anet system blow but you can counter it

dont worry about it FC wins every equal number fight, ever, and when we have an actual organized zerg we dont lose (unless siege is used or there are around 2.5x more than us)

First, I’m out of town and won’t be able to play at all in this matchup until Monday or Tuesday.

In my experience, average player skill level is somewhat higher in lower-ranked servers. This is not to say that players are better: simply that they’re devoting their time and effort to a different aspect of gameplay: solo/skirmishing versus group-play. If FC or IOJ (or DH) were to play a tier 3 server, I believe our players would win a majority of 1v1 or 3v3 situations, but lose almost all 15v15 or 30v30’s.

The current system makes this matchup unfortunate. Either Darkhaven goes all-out in an effort to stomp IOJ and FC and gain points, or they ease off to encourage competition and lose points, thereby making a future rematch more likely. Is that what you really want?

In any event, there are many of us who welcome 1v1’s and small-group matches. Feel free to PM or /w me or my [PD] mates or a number of others if you think all DH players are zerg riders.

True most of us in WvW from FC devote ourselves to Skirmish and solo / roaming, so far i havent been impressed, lol except PD but PD only so far has come in groups not really a solo wise, but i still got most of them down to 10% and 50% a necro, a mesmer and a guard or warr, I wanna see you all in duels this week, I need some new fresh faces!!

yeah nothing special in terms of roaming so far, but Ive only checked out EB. Ill roam in some BL’s tomorrow when I have time.

I wouldn’t say a pug is a non major guild member, more like someone who has little knowledge of what WvW is and don’t understand what they should or shouldn’t do

Do you really need to capture all of EB, all of FC’s BL, and have half of our BL? If you keep it up, I think you’re going to have an entire week of absolutely nothing.

Also, if you’re going to spend 2 hours throwing hell down on our EB keep, at least charge the thing. We had outer gate, 2 outer walls, and 2 inner walls down. On top of that, you easily had 3x our people. Even then, you had 2 trebs and 3 catapults hitting right around the choke points. And you wiped all our siege. All that and you sat there long enough staring us down for the blasted thing to fortify, only to start trebbing it into oblivion again.

On a more positive note, CORE had some good fights with you in your BL. Not sure why you hopped maps after we wiped you once though :\ . Or why you had literally 10 people in DRBL at reset. . .

idk man EB and FC BL numbers were almost the same. our Zerg in EB wrecked pretty much everything DH and IoJ could throw at us so it gave us more control in the map. by when I was in EB, defending SM was lesser importance than keeping our section.

nope because when I could be considered a pug everyone wouldve been a pug, thus there were no pugs..

this glitch is actually a lot worse than some of you guys realize, needs to get patched ASAP.

anyway the higher the the tier in NA, the more organized guilds. Not necessarily more skill or less pugs, but often because there’s more competition to fight in upper tiers the higher skilled guilds are usually up there as well. In terms of small mans, on average lower tiers are more skilled. since there’s much less players though, the actual number of good players comparing low and high is about the same (BG and NSP for example)

also although I was lagging too hard to actually fight at fight club.. VLK made it worth it to show up. way to go guys that was fun.

Loved the small fights in FC borderlands yesterday. Even the fight at bay. We were just ramming the outer door trying to attract some attention hoping a few would come out and fight. 5 mins later the outer door is down… WHY?

Here is a guy from Ferg’s crossing that glitched himself into Lang. I entered lang then he did Whirlwind assault and he was inside able to kill me. In the 1st picture he accepted my party invite and I got his name. He said “It was a accident” when he entered Lang twice.

Teleporting into towers and keeps is quite intentional since it requires a certain spot on the wall to get in with judges. And he obviously kept doing it/used it to his advantage. Which is an obvious exploit.

He looks like a ghost to disguise what he actually looks like, so if someone screenshots him, he can’t be identified. Only real use for that tonic.

I used it at the front gate, attempted to do a JI + WW combo before he got into the gate but I was too late. too my surprise I still downed him and somehow I was inside the tower. a bit later after that I wanted to see if I could do it again from the same spot and it worked; I left immediately after. I use the tonic because it looks good.. I always use the tonic.. look at my sig. the glitched gate at langor requires no special positioning except that you be in front of it apparently. so lols on you

So you do admit you wanted to exploit a glitch. “Wanted to try again” is still against the rules. You took the time to “Finish” me off when I should have been safe from you, And then you killed that poor defenseless npc. I don’t care if langor was under the control of fergss, but since you wanted to try it again, that is exploiting. You basically just told on yourself lol.

also Ive reported like 15 different locations where people can glitch through walls so its not new to me

Why dod so many players so quickly scream nerf the necro. I play a necro and a engineer in WvW, and both are condition damage builds. I do play my engineer as a bomber at times. I see so many remarks about limited condition removal open to each class; has anyone mention certain races have condition removal, take a look at humans. To my dislike, the game allowed all races to be whatever class they wanted to play. If conditions are killing you, then run more condition removal, or use a make-up kit, that might alllow you to change race? Thieves killed me all the time when I first entered WvW, I added lots of thoughness and hp and I found myself living longer and sometime winning against them. every race and class has strengths/weakiness and those strenghts/weakiness are by design to promote group play. I’m a full condition necro, and I dont mind at all spreading the love on the battlefield. Master of Conditions? My engineer can reach about 2400 CD, and I think rangers can also, I wonder about the title “Master of Conditions”.

they cant transfer and remove condis as well as necro, making necro the literal “master” of conditions; though they may not be the hardest hitting. regardless, I believe that condi engis and condi rangers are ridiculous as well. Condi engis however use projectiles and are thus at least able to blocked or reflected.. then rangers dont have ridiculous repplication and you can actually see their skills so its easier to dodge. so in the end necromancers are basically unblockable conditions and can easily kite as well.

Seriously, if you don’t care about the keeps/camps/points, and your favoured scale is 10v10 or less, you’re pretty much the perfect match for custom arena pvp.

Because it’s all secretly a ploy to make threads like this, instigate conversations like these, and in between the fights that they do get by whacking the nest thusly, they like the fact that they do this sort of fighting in WvW because they get to gank and back-clap about it. It’s evident in the things they’ve posted in match-up threads for months.

sPvP is in fact too fair for this lot.

Oh, for everyone thinking VS runs with equal numbers of the zergs we fight, or think we need Pugs to help us, you’re wrong. In our previous video, one of you talked about all the green dots on the map. You should all know that they flock in when there is a fight near them, they don’t do that much though. In this video though, you’ll see we win these fights without any help. We were fielding about 22 this night. You guys do kill us sometimes, but I will say 95% of the time we wipe, we only have about 13-17 VS members, I don’t count the rest, nor do I care if they’re with us, as they’re mostly rally bait and actually helping you guys.

Oh, shoutout to Deth, WZ, IoM, and a few other guilds for the awesome fights throughout the week. And someone asked where we came from, we came from Ehmry Bay. I want to fight t7/6 servers next week for more zergs. After seeing TC madness, I don’t think any size zergs will scare us away.
