zaragoz and I are going back to FC since there’s literally no difference between the two servers (either tonight or tomorrow)
also made my first roaming video! this is of several weeks ago, and consists of footage from 1 or 2 days. as such, it’s not the best fights ever but I always wanted to upload a video.

Actually we beat ET the last 11 matches which is why it caught us way off guard when ET showed up like they did on reset and the weekend.

I’ll say it again props to ET for the big improvement over past matches. I really hope we get a rematch tomorrow.

I just transferred to ET from DR. Notice how one server has gone in the dumps and the other has risen to greatness. I’m no math wiz but I’m seeing a direct correlation to whatever server I’m on and that server being awesome.

Did everyone miss this gem? He can 1v4 easy but has trouble against necros. Somehow necros are op. LOL. Necros are not that hard to beat if you spec correctly. You need a lot of condi removal, and in this meta that is pretty awesome. If you are running a zerg spec and you happen to run acrpss a 1v1 speced necro you are going to have a bad day.

sorry, but youre playing a low HP class with mechanics that are suppose to counter direct damage builds, similar to how guardians are. in the current state of the game there is not enough condi removal for a tanky ele (I assume) like yourself to beat a condi necro, or any other condi build. Your best bet is to try to burst them down and water attune after a condi spike so you don’t waste condi removals.. if you don’t have any burst and/or consistant and good condi removal, you’ll probably just die eventually.
Ether reneweal is definitely a very good skill to use, and doesn’t hurt that bad switching it from the signet heal iirc. Just make sure they use their instant cast fear before you cast it so you dont get interupted. Luckily this removes somewhere around like 8 condis on a 15s cooldown, though on a 4s cast time (feel free to interupt it after removing enough condis) which can seriously render a signet of spite or enfeebling blood with dhuumfire worthless.
idk man, I honestly have played ele the least out of every class in the game (<5 hours) but that’s about all the tips I can give you.

I know that most of the Fergs are honest players, but the [HP] guild (Harpies Pride I think) DO have hackers in it. I’ve seen them move like they have STACKS of swiftness in combat, zero cooldown for skills ( bull charged 4 times in a row) and ignore control effects ( ran around with a guards scepter 3 immobilize glowing around him). So if any Fergs read this, pay attention to them and please report them as I can’t get their names

I think when a pvp game is reduced to skillessly spamming a single button at a person or a series of circles on the ground its pretty skilless.

I am tired of condition spam. As soon as you take them off they are reapplied in mere seconds.

This game has been all about spam since release and Peters is not well known for playing a Necromancer at all. He’s playing it in this period just to figure out how to tune it properly, before the June patch, none has seen him playing Necro except maybe one time.

If you thought fighting against condi builds was bad before, just wait till this next patch. They are getting WAAAY better gear itemization with +vit +tough +condi dmg. Seriously, they get all the main tanking stats and relevant dmg stats with one gear type. for a direct damage class to equal this, they would need gear that has +vit +tough +power +crit +crit% dmg. Time to start thinking about condi builds for the 80s you all have.

Get some condition removal, and maybe try ROLLING a Necro, Ranger, or Engie, so you can see how their skills work, and which to avoid. Watch some youtube vids of Condi tanks “pwning noobs,” and then play defensively with that in mind.

on all 3 classes I have less than half the time on my guardian. Im also really good on my guardian. Howver with the exception of going against high burst on my engi, I can easily win almost every single 1v1 using the above 3 condi builds.
maybe you’re the one who should try to roll a melee DD build and try to fight a condi spam build (protip, except for specced warrs, you can’t)

I also kittening Lol’d when you said “play defensively” against condis. that’s step one to getting your kitten whooped HARD.

Why would I want to? I don’t care about your profession, I like my main. Besides, if you weren’t so worried about your DPS, you might be able to stack condition clearing. So cute when you DD Melee types can’t be bothered to use anything but DPS gear. Lol.

Not much difference in skill except in tier 1 we have to learn how not to get too greedy because a zerg could be right around the corner.

Roamers in higher tiers learn to handle larger groups better then those that play in lower tiers, so the mindset of how to approach fights will be different.

For example; A player from a lower tier would probably be less likely to be spotted near orange swords as to where players in the higher tiers will stalk zergs just to see how many they could kitten off.

Also I think the pace is a lot faster in the higher tiers due to the amount of people and due to that you need to have a bit more awareness. If you aren’t aware of what’s going on around you, higher tiers can be really frustrating.

sorry I wasn’t at fight nite.. was fighting ( defending ) briar in ar bl for seemed to be 3 – 4 hours.. first it was 2 of us then 3 then 8 back to 2 then about 4 near the end. outnumbered quite a few times and we outnumbered a couple times as well.

I woulda been at the fight club, but I was having fun defending Briar with Reger for like 3 hours. Multiple AR and FC groups came at us and we even attempted Bay, but our main intention was to see how long we held against AR just the two of us as what started all that was the 2 man lord room hold against 10+ish AR :PAll the fights we had were fun as ever! Still FC, did ya really have to bring a 40+ man to finally take our tower?

Only drawback is no stability since it’s triple meds, but you could replace one with SYG if you wish.

and I just run a 6th divinity so I still have the 12% CD I would have with all 6 divinity

I still think the fact that a guardian will win against a warrior almost any day of the week (assuming equal skill level) is enough justification for me ..

runes of rage are one of the best changes I’ve made to my guardian since switching from divinity runes. I lose 2% crit chance and 50 healing power and get nearly perma fury up time with SY
