Dungeons: Barely done any dungeons really, having to stand outside of a entrance just to try and get a group together is not my idea of fun. A simple matchmaking system that other games have incorporated for years would definetely improve that!

Amen to that. I have done only story mode but have completed so far: AC/CM/TA/CoF/HoW all with little to minimal wipes (Aside from a learning bruise or so). We did CoF/HoW in the same day and thought we were on a roll…until.

/map LF 2 more CoE – nobody answers in zone after 5 mins. Ok lets head to LA.
/map LF 2 more CoE – still nobody.

We eventually gave up run in naked with 3 people and got almost 1/2 through. At least we got to see it.

Is speedrunning dungeons an exploit?

After seeing a method to make about 3 gold per day was considered to possibly be an exploit, it would be nice to know if speedrunning

CM story takes roughly 20 mins TOP and rewards 26 silver not including drops. 4 runs = roughly a gold (not including drops). So that is 1 hr 20 mins per gold on completion only. So 3 gold isn’t that much even if you play legit. You can also level up people nicely in the process.

And that’s killing every single mob in that zone.

Get 5 80’s in there with some nice burn and you can zip right through even faster

I still haven’t done CoE storymode (Tried 3 manning it naked since nobody wanted to PuG it and only got maybe 1/2 the dungeon), or Arah storymode. After that I need exotic set or at least yellows. Then run some explorable maybe.

Prolly some WvW in there too.

I wonder what the OP thought of the Bioware ending.

They made the ending THEY thought was the best. It was an “Artistic choice” if I recall correctly.

Dungeons need:
Dungeon Finder

Also Dungeon Dailies:
Completing a dungeon storymode daily (offered ONLY after you have completed results in a set of 5 or 10 tokens for explorable mode Of that dungeon.

Completing a dungeon daily offers not only the tokens you loot from that dungeon, but a set of tokens from any dungeon you choose equal to that of a full run.

Both would also reward a size able chunk of $$$/xp.

Each daily can be run once per day. The story mode will help out lower levels looking to run content that will be “old” and useless to most by having essentially anyone the dungeon level + join in.

If they really wanted to get in depth they could do a daily dungeon + path so you are forced to go different routes. If that would deter I don’t know though.

First time I PuG with random group. Rez fest

Second time I run with my guild/family – rarely if ever had to rez rush (won’t say NEVER since 4 manning TA final boss was rough, but we got it).

I am not discounting the OP but you can list traits and hp/toughness that you run explorable with? That gives a better impression that the dungeon is wrong or your hp/toughness isn’t right.

I remember one time we killed them they wouldn’t move from rocks due to a bug. They eventually stood directly on top of each other and made the fight 10X easier. Each rock instead of hitting one hit both. Two of us kept both couples perma knocked down since they were inside each other 0_o.

Killed him three times now and finished story mode twice. One time Mr. Kudu bugged out and we actually KILLED him after the golem (He didn’t get a chance to run ha).

It isn’t that bad, but it just needs HP toned down a tad. For a fight with roughly 3 phases on easy mode it takes FOREVER to kill him.

Trust me the final boss is a gimmie after that guy. =/

Remove all auto targeting from dash/jump skills.

It is in options to remove this. I think it under auto target.

By level 30 I clicked it off my warrior since it would kill him in WvW while he tried to escape.

Just put more loots in Meta events for Silver and above players. Bronze has only a chance at a yellow like it works at the moment.

For example: A meta event has a 100% chance to drop a level appropriate random yellow. That way you can’t farm an event for a specific yellow, but all of them come back worthwhile in a way.

Currently as it stands I have gotten more yellows from trash during the event to take the temples rather than actually the chest at the end of the temple event. That isn’t right for the risk vs reward.

Make SURE you use focus fire, and tell people before to use assist targetting. If everyone runs around randomly DPSing you will die.

Last run I did we went: Eir → Boss → Rytlock → Boss → Logan → Boss → Zoija.

Every single time we moved to a new target I called the new target and the PuG focused fire. They go down fairly quick (except for Eir for us, but she prolly is the nastiest).

1 copper per chest doesn't fly.

The bosses drop moderate amounts of money even if the chests dont

There is a problem if someone is getting 1 copper though. It should scale based on your level but obviously had a RNG dice tossed in. Just silly to have it even go as low as 1 copper, bare min for explorable at 80 should be 1 silver as that is what you get from most DE’s.

Suggestion: LFG system/Dungeon finder?

Cross-server group finders are a bad idea, a bad bad idea. They destroy any sense of community, as players can be total kittens without any sense of accountability.

Cross server? You mean like….a guesting feature that allows PvE players to hop between servers at a whim so even if they act like horrible people they have dozens of servers to choose from?

Guild wars 2 already has that planned btw….

I agree on a modified WoW style Dungeon Finder. We don’t have to 100% copy WoW like most people will rant about, but improve upon it.

For instance as a tweak to DF since areas can be captures how about the Dungeon Finder mark out dungeons that are currently held by mobs. You can then que up for a group to then free the dungeon which will most likely then run the dungeon

I would also like features such as:

Obvious level restrictions would apply

A statstic of how many people are queued for what dungeon showing something similar to Ascalon Catacombs Story Mode: 97 players in que – Twight Arbor Explorable Mode: 50 players in Que. You can then select from the list based on population. This will spread out people picking dungeons and hopefully speed que times

Also a “First Available” option – This will toss you into ANY random dungeon on whichever mode you pick. So if you are 80 for instance and pick First Available Story Mode it will toss in any story mode instance that needs a group, same for explorable.

I would MUCH rather have Devs spend time fixing the game for the ****MAJORITY*** of the player base rather than make super hardcore raids for a VERY VERY small minority.
