Well you see it is about supply and demand,
Supply: The amount of an item/service a given person/entity has or can make, at a given price.
Demand: The amount a consumer wants or needs and is willing to pay for said item or service.
People are demanding an item lower then the cost it takes to make them. Result: they do not get the item they want because,
A) Crafter, buys materials from TP (this is a 3rd party or middle man) Crafter makes item and lists item for a little extra then the cost to buy the mats trying to make profit.
B) Crafter will farm the mats himself trying to make more profit and realize that they sell for more if they are not refined into an item because of the buy order being so low, or still lists the complete item at the highest possible price trying to make even more profit.
Really it is only the truly desperate that sell complete items at lower prices, they aren’t getting ahead at all.
Also this game makes getting a top lvl profession extremely easy so the value of the service of making top tier items lower.

Lvl 80 warrior and ranger here will have lvl 80 necro in about a week and a lvl 80 guardian in about 3-4 depends when I feel like it, all exotic geared and both warrior and ranger have ascended gears.

You’re perfectly efficient without those rings, if you’re a good player. Why raging so much?Because there comes a point at which rings/agony resist is a necessity or you die without fail at Jade Maw health checkpoints. And if your entire party is extremely competent but RNG has seen fit to not reward them with any rings….
It becomes impossible to complete Jade Maw at 20 unless everyone has a (default) infused backpiece + slotted infusion.
But then, why are you even doing Fractal 20… to get even more rings or backpiece?
If you’re a good player, you’ll be good even without them. You choose to keep grinding, and you lament you aren’t dropping items that merely make possible for you to … keep grinding more.
I am doing Fractals as i do all other things of this game, as a possibility, not as the ONLY possibility. But maybe it is because i don’t make pugs and only play with friends and guildies. I play to enjoy the game, not to have the xxx-stats-more-than-you.
I probably will stop doing fractals at lvl 10 for this reason. And then move to my long-term goals, building a legendary, a good tPvP team, and a good WvW squadron.
Oh, the last two things don’t drop in dungeons. Nor do skill. And i am glad that in PVP, all your rings and backpieces mean nothing.
I hope this could make you think twice on this insane WoW-style grinding.

No one will complain about RNG until it affects them negatively.
That alone is reason enough to remove it. Besides, nothing in 10+ dailies is not RNG; it’s a bug. I garuntee you it’s a bug. Arenanet can’t admit it so we’ll never really know.
Just like some people never get the bonuses from WvW since launch. They still haven’t fixed that bug. For all we know; there could be a bug in the game that have certain players on permanent loot DR or something similar.

The rifles attacks are adjusted for bleeds whereas the LB has no adjustment so it actually does apply more direct damage then the rifle. It just takes a different play style because you have to be close for the rounds to hit (they travel slower).
However, condition specd warriors are moot in SPvP since the up-time of multiple conditions is lacking.

Stacking HP is kind of pointless without strong damage mitigation like protection, hitting 40 would probably mean dumping 30 in tactics and if you want 3k defense you would need 30 in defense too, I guess I just can’t see hitting 40k while still having 3k in both and being effective. plus having 3k attack while neglecting crit chance just makes it suffer you’ll hit like a pea shooter, adding enough crit chance to hit say 20% is enough to really change around how much damage you deal, unless youre just trying to tag people while apart of a zerg. :/

Try using Rabid gear in pve and the amulet/jewel in pvp 30 in arms getting the 50% longer bleeds +10 crit with sword, I think theres also some LB related traits.
in the swords take sigil of earth and agony thatll make your bleeds hit at 60% longer. which is another tick, or 2. i personally have done 10 in strength that adds another 10% condition duration then 30 in defense. using 1 shout and 2 stances.
with fire condition damage the duration being longer really helps in spvp i thnk the max damage per tick is like 600, thats equivelent to about 6 stacks of bleeds.
Also in Spvp since rabid amulet will make you tanky try putting 15 into disc at least, fast hands will be needed to keep both burning and bleeds up, otherwise youll never overwhelm someones condition removals/heals.
That build is what i’d do in Spvp, its total of 85% longer bleeds and 40% longer burns, the trait i selected in strength really makes mending a great condition cleaner can remove up to 6 different conditions, gives you time to run away.
in PvE use 6/6 superior mad king runes, as they will give 10% all condition durations, 15% bleeds and 165 power rather then the broken up ones i have here.

Both are easy, like ridiculously easy to kill. in wvw I make groups of 5 run from me. how does everyone else complain when there is the awesomeness of the shield on a warrior :/ Main hand axe is where the damage is. Also not using any sigent but signet of rage helps.
sPvP is stupid, mesmers are easy to track. They are the ones that are dodging. and thieves, you just got to blow all your CDs make them run in fear or die because they are so squishy. You are a warrior, find a face smash it.

That’s the build I’ve been using.
True warriors lack solid condition removal. However, in this build beserker’s might isn’t absolutely needed, so if there are heavy condition builds on the oposite team you can trait into Strength #2 and mending will remove up to 6 conditions.
Also the sigil in the shield isn’t needed and since then I have swapped it for another sigil of purity.
lastly You could swap out 1 rune of rage for a 5th ranger gaining another 5% crit chance if that fancies you. I like the increased fury up time though.
With this build I havn’t had much trouble with anything really. I’ve had some wonderful 1v1 fights (Spvp is kind of dead :/) vs all sorts of classes condition and direct damage dealers and it’s nice to say I’ve come out on top 60% of the time.
Condition rangers can sometimes get me because they are usually the most skilled kiters I don’t know why but necros, engs, even eles and mesmers I have no trouble catching. With this build though knowing when to use each stance is key you can’t just run in pop them all and win especially frenzy. But usually If i do find a kitteny bunker build he is put down really fast because of bal stance + frenzy (if they can do enough damage to me endure pain kicks in).

Only 2 traits effect my utilities Signet mastery and sure-footed, Mastery is to keep the fury boon up more often and sure-footed is there because I technically have 2 stances and the lack of anything better in the Tier 1 trait selection. Though reflecting missles could put out more damage, I mainly have the shield fore more defense (151 from wep and mastery) and the #5 is rather obnoxious. The #4 also helps in removing defiance stacks on bosses. Oh and the fact I am carrying a shield helps retain mob aggro.
Otherwise everything else synergizes well, all adding more damage, crit chance, crit damage, or toughness. Which is the focus of the build.

So I’ve seen alot of people saying that warriors are crap at tanking blah blah, true we don’t get alot a tankyness because protection is low and hard to get but really we don’t need it.
I will list the gear keep in mind this works for me in dungeons and WvW, I have made a similar build in Spvp thats been working great but still isn’t the same.
Traits
20- strength / 5-Beserkers might /10-Axe mastery
30- defense / 3-sure footed / 9-shield mastery / 11-defy pain
20- Discipline / 5-heightened focus / Signet mastery
Keep in mind that Beserker’s might and heightened focus DO NOT show in the character screen.
Gear
Knights-Power, precision, and toughness
Axe – Superior sigil of accuracy +5% crit chance
Shield – Superior sigil of perception (I do not include this to my final count however, in most dungeons I can keep 25 stacks which adds 12% critical chance) I may swap this out for a sigil of purity not sure yet.
Armor is all knights with 5 Superior runes of the ranger and 1 superior run of rata sum this adds 190 precision total or 11% crit chance and 8% crit damage. I have been condsidering taking out the rune of rata sum and 1 ranger rune and replacing them with either 2 runes of the monk for the 15% boon duration or 2 runes of rage. Either would give me 100% fury up time but I am trying to make up the 115 precision I would lose.
Trinkets are Beryl Power Vit Crit damage. As soon as I can get Cavalier’s stated Trinkets in Exotic or ascended I will be using those. Cavalier’s is Power/Toughness/Crit damage this will give the build 400-500 if not more toughness and should keep the power stat about the same because of the 25 point minor trait in defense.
Skills
Heal- Mending, condition removal is really needed here, if you don’t like other utilities I have then Healing surge is also a good choice as I tend to not use the burst F1 then much prefering the static damage of the auto attacks.
1) “For Great Justice” – Adds 8 sec of Fury, This build kind of need fury to keep the crit chance high with out losing stats elsewhere plus this helps your team too. In SPvP I take Shake it off instead for obvious reasons and in WvW this slot is used for Endure pain
2) Frenzy I like this because it make you swing your axe like 6-8 times a second, Also great to use if your #11 defense trait pops since you will take no damage at all. You could switch this skill in PvE for “shake it off” or balanced stance. But keeping a stun break in PvE is great.
3) Banner of Discipline, at least 1 banner is great in a dungeon but this one adds 5% crit chance and 10% crit damage to the team. also the #2 skill while holding it grants more fury. banner of tactics is also really useful. In SPvP and WvW I take balanced stance in this slot instead.
Elite- Signet of rage, All around awesome for any build, Rampager is useless 99% of the time and the banner is awesome for resing but even when traited into banners it has a 2 min CD. But this is why I take signet mastery it makes the CD of this signet 48 sec this signet gives 30sec of fury + the 8 sec from FGJ, if FGJ is casted with this it’ll be up before your fury has worn off giving you another 8 sec for a total of 46 seconds of fury, meaning you have 2 seconds of fury down time. Obviously this doesn’t happen all the time because of the rotations and that’s why I’ve been thinking of different runes.
Buffed up I hit
3057 attack 3423 with Beserker’s might
31% critical chance +5% from banner + 5% from sigil + 9% from heightened focus making it a flat 50% +fury making it 70% total (the sigil would add another 12%)
Obviously in WvW or SPvP I don’t carry a banner so there I only have 65%
74% critical damage +banner is 84%
3197 armor Again this should go up even more once I get the trinkets I want.
lastly
21522 HP I know I will lose some HP with the trinket change but a big pool of Hp on this build isn’t really needed.

Alot of people use rifles over bows because of the #3 the big number looks cool to them and thats all they care about.
as for damage most warriors are direct damage not condition rifles attacks are adjusted for bleeds so in reality in a direct damage build you will get more damage out of the bow. the bows #3 can still do some massive crits and it’s AoE.
Most people don’t post axe/axe because they are belittled by the amount of people that use GS, gs is one of my favorites but it just doesnt do as much damage as the main hand axe. Again gs auto attack is adjusted for the vulnerability it causes,and for running around gs might be great, lots of movement the #2 spam etc, but the axe still attacks twice as fast and hits a little harder :/
As for axe off hand the #4 is a bust unless you have like 50% or more boon duration because 2 seconds of fury isnt alot even on the axe. the #5 is great for killing abjects and tagging alot of mobs though, how ever because of its cast time and relitivly low damage you can get more damage by just auto attacking.

Rabid armor can be obtained from TA HotW and CM. It is also from the karma vendors in each of the 3 Orrian zones. I believe WvW has this combo as well. Power/vit/toughness are obtainable in similar ways.
As for exotic trinkets with these stats you can find a rare account bound recipe from certain dungeons that will make these stat combos at the cost of tokens and other orichalcum pieces.
If you really want to know a whacky stat set up that I have yet to find in exotics (not even in the hidden recipes) Is “cavalier’s” power/toughness/critical damage, there are rares with this stat set up and ascended with I can only get ascended rings and don’t want to wait for earrings and ammys to finish it :/

Back when shelters and penitent where decent I salvaged all yellows and sold everything else and made 1 gold an hour, If i had sold the yellows or ecto it would’ve been 3-5 gold an hour, so realistically if all circumstanes remained the same each day one could make 6-10 gold per day in 2 hours of play, which is rather casual.

Well if you think about it the infusion part is just +5 agony resistance. Which is only useful if your doing FOTM. Anywhere else and its a useless stat. So basically that infusion is only for the hardcore people that are trying to get as deep into that dungeon as possible.
Realistically, as long as BASE ascended gear is obtainable without insane requirements, i’m ok with the crazy high INFUSION costs. Why? Because its a stat thats only needed in a specific dungeon. All i REALLY need is the base ascended gear, and the 50 ecto/ 250 T6 cost, while high, isn’t insane imo.
Also infusions for defensive, offensive and, omni slots are not limited to agony resist; also +5 agony resist reduces the damage it does by like 87%. That all being said one can cunclude that even casual players that want asended gear but do not want to run FotM often, can infuse 1 or 2 peices leaving the slots open for other stats in other dungeons.
On topic I think the biggest thing I am disappointed about is the rediculous expense to make just fine class infusions. They stated in the release blod of asended gear that they will add more infusions of higher classes later, so for those of you who where thinking of making say +5 prec +5 agony resist might hold off till the exotic/asended lvl of infusions are release.
lastly @Hexgame I had 1500 ectos at one point (when they where 13s) and sold them when they hit 24s around a 38-40% return. However, I farmed them all and the gold to buy them knowing the price would go up eventually, you too can do this very easily

They de-itemized several playstyles.
You basically get 4 choices: full dunk berserker, tanky condition damage, baby’s first tank soldier’s, and magic find. The itemization for hybrid condition damage offense, tanky dps, and team support is not represented at all in ascended gear.
You don’t even get upgrade slots to mix and match your stats.
I’m massively disappointed in how pigeon-holed the ascended gear is trying to make me be.
Hybrid condition damage is terrible, because you have high precision with little to no crit damage and you have lower condition damage then those that use Prec/Tough/Condition. (which is by far the absolute best stat combo for condition builds because of runes of undead +5% toughness added to condition and then food that does the same thing)
Tanky DPS is supported by the Power/Toughness/Crit damage which synergizes perfectly with a knights set of armor, Which i will use on my warrior.
Either way Tanky DPS is supported in new stat combos on asended gear, (infact more so then before the new combo) And trying to pull hybrid damage+ condition is just bad so there is really no need for rampagers, However I remember rampagers stats being availible. If you go to GW2db you can find it there.
