I don’t get why the stat combo is something that most classes and builds don’t want to use AT ALL. If you only want to make one stat combo, why not PVT which most people would find at least remotely usable? That or at least give players the chance to choose between a few popular stat combos when they ascend the back piece.
It’s just cuz it’s the stat combo that Southsun came with for crafting. Apothecary.
It’s actually amazing for condition builds. Plus they wanna sell Tranny Stones.
I guess that’s how I got it. I had a Habit of waiting for a Karka to roll towards me when I had the crab and Dashing through it so it hits everyone behind me. :x Was best way to get them away from me. XD
It’s beautiful.
I opened 3 with my leftover gems since they didn’t add anything interesting in the patch. Contained a buncha shells, green flowers, passion fruit~ not really worth it.
Was hoping to buy some new skins with those gems but they didn’t add any.
Let’s lobby for traps that remove protection/regen/stability and make the player immune to them for 30s.
Oh, also, one that renders block and invulnerability usesless for 30s.
This is what bothers me most. Why create a trap that only targets one class?
That’s discrimination .-. What does the other trap do?
There’s no need to change Backstab such. The longer you take to land a backstab, the more likely you are to land a facestab instead.
Unfortunately, the d/p thief allows you to create a blinding field and stealth without taking damage. Continuous spamming of this allows you to stay in stealth until you land your backstab. This is why I don’t mind the spamming. I simply would like dodge block and blind to reveal a thief.
Isn’t it bad enough that it removes venoms (which makes no sense… I guess the venom just flys off your weapon and onto the ground). Don’t need more annoying functions. Stealth doesn’t last long enough for it to matter, plus it’s obvious they’re within melee range of you if they’re going in for a backstab so why would you need it? Are people that awful at predicting where they are?
Dulfy is a she? :x idk anything personal about her or her characters but I use her site all the time.
These speedo skin would sell like hotcakes if they come with various Macho/Sexy poses.
I’d love to finally have a /flex emote.
Just have to ask… Can you picture a Charr in a speedo? Cuz I can’t and don’t really want to (horrifying mental image that I’d like to avoid).
I can.
Doesn’t look too horrifying. Defiantly. Now picture that Charr without that speedo on for a horrifying mental image.
For those who need assistance in picturing.
/facepalm >.<
lol, yeah. That Sylvari won the dance floor. :P

Charr warrior in CoF armor, in all black dye.
And with a twilight.YAWN.
Pretty much this. Actually may apply to any race doing the same thing, except Sylvari Warriors which are just awesome/uncommon.
For Necromancer, any race except Sylvari (kinda wierded out that I rarely see Sylvari Necromancers)
I have a Lv.80 Sylvari Necro. He’s awesome.
I want a speedo/swimsuit skin too but I am worried they might do it like they did jetpack again with the extremely low droprate.
It’d be town clothes, so probably just a purchase from gem store. They don’t like adding town clothes that are obtainable within the in-game world.
One reason I stopped wearing it long ago. A lot of armor does it on Sylvari, the hips mainly are stretched too wide. The Vigil medium armor for example; I like that armor but it looks abhorred on Sylvari males because of how gigantic the skirtpart is. http://www.gw2armor.com/sylvari/male/vigil/medium/display_looks.php

It’s always raining because it’s been veiled in the sadness of all the Karka who lost their beloved leader; the Ancient Karka.
Maybe one day we can sail there via event without teleporting. Maybe get attacked by naughty sea critters while on the boat. :s
The initial attack upon them involves hitting their weak point several thousand times till their armor shatters.
Actually, missing Backstab should give us a Might buff to compensate for other peoples’ OP ability of moving out the way.
I’d rather have new weapons or new weapon skills for current weapons for a little more customization before they add races/classes. Though a new class could come with new weapons and armor for others.
Or they can just add GW1 Assassin armor so Thief can feel like a new class.
Closer to the Stars; because I’m from GW1 and because it reminds me of Suikoden.
There’s often times I find myself mass clicking to open 20, 50 or even 500 items ina row; Karma Jugs, boxes, bags, etc.
It would be convenient and healthy for my poor little mouse if I could just right click the stack of items and select “Use All” bringing up a pop up window asking if I’m sure. Even throw in a 2nd warning popup just in case. Anythings better than having to mass multi-click.
Don’t forget Karkas have a gigantormous aggro distance. Especially the big veterans.
I cant we just have mini games forever? ;o
I like hermit crabs, even tho mine always died.
Yes, my Sylvari has perfect abs. He swims a lot.
The Unlimited Sickle maybe, since South Sun is known for it’s passion fruit.
I want Owain to help us battle the Karka as well as decide to hatch one of the eggs to earn us a mini Karka and/or Ranger Pet.
I rather have swimshorts but I don’t see why we can’t have both.
Don’t provoke people to underestimate Reef Drakes.
One wrong move and that confusion can instakill you. XD
Meh, this game makes you realize Mana was kinda a dumb system to begin with that just wasted time. GW1 used an Energy system that was closer to how Thief function.
Thinking about that Jetpack skin makes me sad panda.
Did it every day on multiple characters and no luck.
LOL, that burst. Thought you were bull****ing. Suicide Glass Cannon.
Now all unrelated builds to this will get nerfed. /sigh.
@Doggie, what is up with you and throwing gunk<.<? But a whole slew of weapons would be cool, but as Auesis said, anything would be better than the current anim, hence I suggested that form of breakdancing
and since my sylvari has shuriken on her legs, it would make sense :p
It’s my favorite steal skill, and it’s powerful + amusing.
Would it be cooler if they renamed it and the attack was related to main hand weapon?
Sword Storm, Dagger Storm, Arrow Storm, Bullet Storm.
Or Throw Gunk Storm? .-.
That’s all
…that should be a new skill in general. o.O Thief ninja vanishes or leaps into the sky and 1000 knives rain down in a radius as wide as Warrior’s full longbow burst aoe. Actually mix caltrops, bombs, swords, flails, kunai and other crap into it and let’s just have an unnatural disaster everywhere.
Those are in the Chests? Thought it was only the weapons.
You could just convert the skin to PvP.
Only the people who wanna sell them actually find it. .-.
Light Blue on Max~

Sylvari fit any class best.
Including Engineer.
Cuz we’re amazing.
You forgot to throw in how INSANELY BUGGY Scorpion Wire is. Lotta times it won’t even pull them on flat terrain and just knocks them over. Then there’s the sinful outa range when not issue, and obstructed by nothing. Mine as well make it unblockable since it’ll fail anyways. You don’t see that happen in Mortal Kombat. That s*** connects and they’re ****ed. They should make it faster and add a line similar to Scorpion’s as well just for the hell of it too.
But… Sub-Zero is better than Scorpion!!
Now seriously, what’s exactly the point of the thread? Is this a sugestion? You didn’t construct it too much beyond posting numbers and no explanations.
But the photo is pretty cool!
I generally enjoy ice/water element more than Fire but I gotta say.. Scorpion is 1000 times cooler than any Ninja. Although Reptile is my personal favorite.
Maybe that’s why I love Throw Gunk so much. :s

I’ve Lvl’d everything, even a little; except not my Guardian much.
Thief is my favorite despite the mess of poorly designed weapon skills and bugs. I like my 80 Warrior and 80 Necromancer’s armor a lot more though, and Warrior has a ton of builds and weapons that make use of everything. My Necromancer is also using every single skill across both weapon sets and utility, as well as death shroud.
I’m taking Ranger slowly to 80 next, they have some of the best skill animations and pets are fun. Utility skills are really dull though and I end up using signets mostly and of course have the medium armor woes.
Asking best/worst stats~ not sure how to respond to that in this game but appearance-wise by armor, weapons and animation imo:
Warrior
Guardian
Necromancer
Elementalist
Mesmer
Ranger – would be a lot higher if I enjoyed the armor more.
Thief – cuz of the armor and can’t enjoy guns the way I wanna.
Engineer

My Jetpack flew away forever. u.u
The deathtimer was set a long time ago though in update notes, but I admit; I actually assumed it’d be gone during Tuesday’s update till someone told me few days ago.
First post kinda misses the point, lol.
A weekly instead of daily may actually be a good idea, as long as it still loads tons of xp onto my alts as it does currently. It would be better if it stacked too~ Like if you miss 1 day, you can do 2 dailys next day~ not all 7 at once (unless it’s sunday). Same thing could be done for Dungeons I guess.
according to numbers : asura. they take less damage. “before you say wth are you talking about” try remember how hard its is to target one :P
It isn’t.
Just on the skill description. Unload says 230~ x8 and Repeater says 900~ x5
They QQ cuz they’re Baaawwhhhhd.
Worst but most fun is P/nothing that only uses Body Shot pistols-at-dawn style.
You just made me realize Repeater does like 700 more DMG than unload. .-.
It’s a hidden Guild Trek location. http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/gw2-green-moa-paddock-guild-trek-3.jpg
The Cavern is a Jumping Puzzle. A lot of the hidden JPs look pretty awesome.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Chaos_Crystal_Cavern
The absolute worst thief build is completely naked and 0/0/0/0/0 traits. Hope this helps.
+1.
I think P/D just looks awesome as kitten, but the skill setup is horribly flawed and you can really only play it as condition. It’s very fun for to use though with tanky cond builds (totally broken in Spvp cuz of 4s reveal). Even if you play it successfully, it still sucks and needs some remodeling to make all of it’s skills more universal and useful.
I actually disliked starting a character in nightfall because it required you to farm levels at the beginning. Grinding Sunspear and Lightbringer rank was pretty tormenting, lol.
I have seen similar complaints about the Kurzick and Luxon faction points in Factions. For those who have forgotten, you need 10.000 faction points in either of those two sides in order to advance through the storyline.
“OMG teh grindy!11!!”, someone could say. And that’s false. What ArenaNet has used in both those games (as well as in a few things in GW:EN) is giving players the option of which quests to do. While other MMOs would give players a list of quests and tell them to do all of them before advancing to the next area, the points system used by ArenaNet allowed players to pick which quests they wanted to do in order to advance.
Now, keep in mind I’m not saying GW1 was perfect, far from it. Prophecies had an horrible story, Factions’ one was only slightly less bad, and all the Guild Wars 1 games had a lot of flaws.
Unfortunately, Guild Wars 2 has even more flaws. Even the things ArenaNet should have learned after GW1 were thrown away. And the decision to cater to grinders, addicts and exploiters has obviously been something ArenaNet deliberately decided to do, to the detriment of other, real, players.
At least Fort Aspenwood PvP was fun, and you actually earned money off it. A lot more fun than SPvP.
I was going to write a huge wall of text explaining the failures of the OP but Mirta did it already…
I’m only going to respond to another post of the OP:
Go in game and watch. Take a look at how many players are farming dynamic events in Cursed Shores; compare that to how many players are just playing in any other map in the game. Try to find a group for story mode in a dungeon that is not farmed, and compare that to finding a group for CoF path 1. See how many players do the Dragon events, and then tell me how many players you see just exploring the world.
That doesn’t prove anything… There are people who are moving from zone to zone, world boss to world boss, there are people who are doing events for their dailies, you’ve never gone to Queensdale I guess, or any starting zone. Not to mention a huge amount of players isn’t in Cursed Shore, they are in WvW, I guess WvW is also a grind in your faulty logic?
All those examples make it clear that grinders are in very higher numbers than real players. This has a very clear impact on ArenaNet – Ascended gear is just a huge grind, Fractals are basically a huge grind, the loudest complaint in the forum a while ago was about the lack of drops, etc, etc.
You don’t actually have those numbers you say you have, you have no proof and no evidence to suggest anything. Ascended gear isn’t a huge grind at all, seriously Ascended a huge grind? What’s your basis on this? You just wanted it yesterday and it will take you a little bit of more time and you come here and start ranting?
MMORPGs have been designed to cater to grinders (and that is actually a fact, not just my opinion, unlike most other things I have said here). The original Guild Wars had less of a focus on grind, at least until GW:EN. GW2 is catering to grinders, and as such it has a community of addicts, who care more about their next “fix” than about having fun. Like I said above, it’s a pity that ArenaNet made a game in which it’s so easy to play with other people, and then filled it with people you don’t want to play with.
The original Guild Wars had a LOT more grinding than Guild Wars 2 (for cosmetics/titles) have you ever tried maxing out some of the titles in GW1? Getting Obsidian armor maybe? The grind in GW1 makes grinding in GW2 look like a walk in the park, and no it didn’t start from GW:EN, it was always there you just wear your “GW1 was awesome glasses” and refuse to see the truth in front of you. For your final, idiotic comment, I’ll have you know I play with people I want to play with, including my guild mates and my friends, if you have a problem socializing and playing with proper people that’s your fault.
I actually disliked starting a character in nightfall because it required you to farm levels at the beginning. Grinding Sunspear and Lightbringer rank was pretty tormenting, lol.
Most of my chars were Factions because I love Cantha and because it was all fast-paced story driven progression.
(edited by Doggie.3184)
I like when I land Cloak and Dagger on stealth Thieves because as a Thief I know he doesn’t magically vanish into pixie dust when he’s invisible.
