Instead of raising the ceiling on the content they lowered it. No matter how many clever mechanics they throw into the game they knew some players would never hit the ceiling skill level-wise, so they went in the opposite direction by throwing a timer cap on the content. Clever programming, and probably easier for them to apply.

I am much more critical of time gating things to make a small expansion seem larger.

Over the years of buying BL chests, I had accrued 50+ of these wonderful things. But there is a HUGE problem with them.

In trying to join guildies in DS I would pop one and the screen would say map is full. So I would wait a minute and retry. Little did I know that it USED the teleport. I have no problems with the map being full, but using up an invaluable charge is inexcusable.

This goes all the way back to the start. Playing as a water ele three years ago while my map was doing Shatterer. Dodge rolling and staff healing people because we thought he was super tough, on occassion dropping some minute damage on kitten.

Not sure if Trapper’s Expertise is worth slotting just for one tick of regen, and I find the best pets for a frac party are Stalker/Jag or Stalker/Tiger. The stalker gives party might stacking and the tiger grants fury. You will be doing enough healing to not have to worry about your pet doing it.
At the start of a fight pop the F2 on the stalker and switch to the jag to perform his F2. (*The Fire Wyvern can grant might as well but its animation takes a bit and doesn’t always drop where you want it.)

Marauders is sold from any armor vendor in game. Viper will be on new maps only.

For all of us that think underwater combat is dead, and why wouldn’t we think that?

But isn’t there a Deep Sea Dragon, Bubbles…you remember him right? He is blocking our way into Cantha. What are we going to do pull a Moses and part the waters? Or is anet going to make us ship hop all the way there.

Another odd addition are ascended rebreathers. Makes me think we might not be out of the water just yet.

I played War as a main all though the first three years. Now my time is split between Revenant and Dragonhunter. While I would love to hand out head butts it felt boring, while almost none of the other elites, while some under whelming, felt boring.

Several times I have come across a guild of mesmers-only in wvw. Do you think we will EVER see a guild of DHs?

Revham 2 is a multi-target dream especially blob vs blob. I get 7k usually on crits with LB 2 on a ‘single’ target.

Whining is going to get it a longer CD at the least.

5 second CD on bow 2 might get tweaked, other than that the class feels on par with others. You ever fought a mesmer in wvw? Or seen the cooldowns on staff druid? Every class can bring something to the table than can over power a class not ready for it.

Valky is complaining about the price when the majority of us will put hundreds of hours on the expac even before the raid drops.

Far more than $50.

Gear will be based on your build, and what you want to do with it. If you are dying a bit, try PVT gear. (Power/Vitality/Toughness) When you get good in that try replacing pieces with berserker gear again.

About leveling DH, hero points in the jungle are worth 10, more often than not you could get into a hp train that might bag 8-12 in an hour. Grab hps in vanilla from all the starter zones. That should get you close.

There are dungeons, AC & CoF which are run the most, and don’t forget fractals either.

The dodge mechanic is the most important skill in GW2. They will only add more damage while dodging skills.

It at least teaches kids where that button is.

Unlock all vendors after the obvious ones. Updraft in gliding, and mushrooms wherever that one was.

Mega guilds will now become Walmart. Killing off any mom and pop guilds because the quantity of donation capacity.

It is certainly easier for them, what we run into in our guild of two dozen, is everyone wants, but no one wants to work.

The crashing is Mordremoth’s elite skill.

Mesmer is in one of the best places right now, Chrono or otherwise. I think you will find your class a better vintage than when you last left.

The only nerf I see coming is a CD on bow 2. And if it comes, the world goes back to burning.
