Not even sure I am worried about game content. I am a child of Prophecies, Factions & Nightfall all coming with collector’s editions. Huge boxes with art books, etc.

I do not care what they say, I’m sure some of it will be as colorful as Palawa Joko’s insults with Zhed. What I do care about is Shiro’s skills. If they do not give us they frustrating-kitten banish skill he had where someone disappeared every minute from the fight I’ll punch my dog.
JK, can already hear it though, the Horse will chastise us for fighting, Shiro will scream from the toes, the Dwarf will bolster with positivity, Glint will soothe all, and Mallyx will whine infernally.

Agreed on rifle, but disagree on any weapon. Let’s hope they fit weapon choice into lore. GW2 Thief is based completely off of the GW1 Assassin.

I don’t even consider this a ‘full’ expansion.

Expansion to me is new class, another playable race, new skills for all classes, and another FULL continent to explore.

HoT is giving us what 35% of that. Three years later…

I have been in Proph since day one, I have been with GW for this whole ride. I have had zero problem with understanding the Charr are no longer the issue at hand. There is a larger threat consuming EVERY race. The dragons have to be viewed as alien in nature, all these racial squabbles have to be squashed for the respective races to survive.

Besides I have played out the personal stories for every race. The Charr storyline IMO are easily the best written.

Do more damage, swing slower. It all evens out in the end.

Let’s say late August release, what’s that ten, eleven week out?

Correct. Anet is doing just fine, and remember these stories have been unfurling since 2005. Why would they stop now? It is easily the most popular MMO now, Warcraft included.

GW1 had a hard mode. This game caters to the masses, so they will never make anything face melt.
But Anet could institute a hard mode for bosses and instances.

Does the meta matter to someone just getting back into the game? (It shouldn’t matter to any of us at all.)
Ele takes some doing to perfect the how & when of attunement switching.
Engi has merit in all aspects, but I would lean towards Guard. Guardian works solo as a leveler, and crushes in a group Pvp or WvW setting.

Edge of Destiny will give you deep insight to Eir, Zoija, Logan, & Rytlock before you meet them in-game.

Even though the choice is there. Every single Warrior runs one of two builds.
So what you are asking is the ‘perception’ of choice really.
Honestly, I only want to hear from people that have rocked the Rev in the beta & Anet.
It seems likie the only solution would be to give each stance eight or nine skills and let the player dip into that pool.

Actually, I answered my question. The gate at LA that is guarded by Tengu does not lead directly to the DotW. So there is room for a starter zone then LA where the docks can take you anywhere after.

If its not animated, I’m not watching. Some things we love are great only in their current format.

Why place the Dominion of the Winds there at all then? Are the Tengu simply there for background fluff? I think they were all set to be a playable race and Anet pulled back, like Bungie to sell back to us at a later date.

I worry though that with Southsun Cove, Kessex Hills, and Calendon already cleared, how could their home city work now as a starting point?

But I distinctly remember them in the Shiverpeaks in Prophecies right? Or am I losing my mind? So is there any lore as to why they landed in the Shiverpeaks or DoW?

Since we are being sent in the wrong direction as Cantha and Elona, I am asking the lore experts on the forums this: If Anet sends us to the Far Shiverpeaks next, can the Tengu be introduced there?
I was under the impression that they hail from Cantha, but I could be mistaken.

Also it seems we could enter onto the Neverending Ocean next, which could bring us to Cantha. Just surprised they took us this way first…
