When HoT drops, I think all those fancy hairstyles and faces we drop gems on should be thrown into the normal character creation rotation, which is kind of bland in comparison. I do not mind the gem drops for additional styles, just hope they come up with new ones.

I am on the fence here. I do want harder content, but is 200% HP the best road for Anet to take? Or is it just the easiest?

There are whispers that we won’t even fight Mordremoth, how does the OP feel about that? This still boils down to one thing: Buy it or don’t.

The reason I am fearful of no Mordremoth is plain & simple. It has already been three years since Zhaitan. It has taken too long for HoT, if we do not burn him down then what? We wait another two years at the least to introduce Cantha and/or the Tengu?

But on the serious side. Their story lines are fantastic, and the centuries of depth of being the main antagonist in GW1 (at least the first half of Prophecies), only fleshes them out that much fuller.

Yes, it would have to be instanced for it to work.

Otherwise play Evolve. Or Rampage if you’re into the classics.

The leg armor for Centaurs would be unbelievable. That’s all I’m saying.

I thought I read that we would be able to save up to three builds on a individual character. For the life of me, I cannot find this tab.

This streamlining allows them to move forward now. Instead of struggling to inch forward with the jumble of (mostly) useless skills we had before. I play Necro, and NO nerf is greater than the one to Consume Conditions, and what I have done is constantly tweak my build until it no longer matters. Almost there now. Discovering something new that works for you is where the fun lies.

Tendril, fern, mulch, vineyard, arbor…

Anything that goes with flora or nature…like Pollen Tsunami.

Agree with the last post. The Charr are fantastic.
And all of their story lines eclipse the other races in depth and drama.

Mmm, Grenth is Death & Ice, so that’s a tough one right there.

In PVE use what you want. Looks to me that Axe/Mace is more than viable.

There is no new race, because the race associated with Mordremoth is Sylvari.
Bubbles can either be Quaggan or Largos, Primodus will probably open Tengu, Krakle will reveal Elona, which could be a number of choices, mainly Centaurs who are plagued by Palawa Joko’s evil. Jormag could be Kodan.

This is pure speculation.

In all the months I played Necro, I had no idea SW had that capability.

I play Necro as my main, and think we shouldn’t have burns. But we should be amped in all other CD areas across the board.

Necro is just fine. Find another build. They are out there you know.

Consume Conditions is however, quite dead.

Rune of the Brawler is intriguing, to grant might along with the protection. Not sure if its enough though

On a build like this, what would you use for runes?

Is this a legitimate direction now? I am intrigued by taking the Well instead of CC now, because if you run 6 in Blood Magic, you get the Vampire minor, plus Vamp Presence which aids the party and Vamp Rituals, which makes wells grant protection and siphon health. On paper it sounds great…but am I wrong?

They can destroy it when an expansion takes us into the Crystal Desert. Then the humans can migrate back to Ebonhawke.

So do people run builds with the bow and FGS? Even the hammer’s auto attack is ruthless. I find it hard to believe that a party of four would have trouble burning anything down.

3 & 4 are getting a HUGE buff (25%), making it the most damaging skill in the game.

I already use Ice bow as is, with the Conjurer trait that allows you to fire off two 4s before it is dispelled. A pair of eles (4 bows) should be able to burn anything down in PVE.

Or am I wrong?

Every business I know caters more to the new customer than to the existing one.
Now, if the loyal customer feels slighted, than that has to be rectified. But how does Anet go about that?
A character slot for only veterans? Seems like two wrongs there, and a vicious circle tbh.
Still even with any extras, kids are still screaming price when every video game ever released on ANY system is $60.
So if Anet caters to us ‘veterans’ what about those unhappy about price?

Any game you put a hundred or more hours on is priceless.

My labor rate at work is $125 an hour, yet we scoff at the price of a game that some people have 8000 hours on.
