I hope the challenging content does not take its lead from the triple worm. Too much communication and strategy are needed to even have a chance. No one even bothers with this silly boss anymore, if they ever did. I can only imagine what direction Anet is heading in.

I don’t need the new spec to sway me. I’ve played war since GW2 dropped, and will continue to go heavy metal until the end. Though the mobility thing is real, I play my war in pve and pvp, and go d/d ele in wvw.

Rifle #3 is pretty strong as well, no?

All that said, my super adventure box sawed-off shotgun is too cool to take a silly bow!

OP, you chose deep strike over blademaster. Is +150 CD that much better than crits on bleeding and 20% faster skills?

Until anet fixes pet AI what good will drones be? Its 30/70 whether a necro minion will even attack, and drones sound like they will be armor plated pets. I remain on the fence

I’ve owned and played this game since I got it for Christmas 2012. I’ve unfortunately never been able to get an engi past level 30 or so. I think the main reason is the weapons and utility skills. I think the pistol is a little too Batman for me, Rifle is… K, and I just don’t like shield all that much

Pistol is too Batman? Not sure what that means but nothing is TOO Batman.

I want a shoulder mounted laser cannon, a scythe that launches rockets, a land shark bola, a battle axe the size of Rhode Island and food buffs that last for infinity. Why should we have to choose?

If you are new to the game, like I was, I went with Knight’s armor first. The additional toughness will help you survive. Get a build you like and learn the rotations cold. Then you can replace a piece of knight’s at a time with berserker.

I don’t know, I still enjoy playing Warrior in pvp. My build is all knockdowns, and really the only reason I run rampage for the additional kd. The only classes that still infuriate me are Mes and Engi. (Some Necros)

Just think anet wants war to stay in the middle of the pack.

Maybe berserkers are the original smiths of zerker armor, and they’ve come back to slaughter the multitudes of knuckleheads who misuse their creations.

This will help weed out who wants to play the class and wanted to point and click.

It’s fine. Breathe people. It’s still a couple of godbombs a match. By the way, mes got a nerf too.

I can handle him 1v1 but it takes a ton of knockdowns and stuns. I have five on my bar, but it takes some time to bring him down. Question why are you 1v1ing him? It’s a team game, 2 or 3 should melt him down off the start, and if you get a bonus kill on him again, then double the pleasure. Either way, fighting him 1v1 is an incredible waste of time if you can’t melt him right away.

Sylvari are the main characters? Only for now. Go with what you like to play. From a personal story standpoint (which is not changing) the Charr were the most engaging IMO, and the Asura have the best animations. But play what you like looking at.

I agree with most points, but he complains about throwing gold at the game. That’s what it is, a back-end gold sink. Just like any other MMO, you either pay up front or at the end.

You are not supposed to kill it ‘easily’, but it is still not that difficult to melt down. Svanir does not need to be nerfed, Tempest needs a buff.

Nothing needs to be nerfed on ele. With attunement switching, long skill chains, and light armor, a d/d ele is one of the most complicated (if not the most) classes to play. A mesmer complaining about nerfs is equal parts amusing and sad. Or did you realize that’s you in the video dying?

Zig I think unarmed is potentially a new class in the future if they decide to go that route, not sure it will be added to the existing classes.

You were buying the expac based on a single class’ eight new skills? Kind of pigeon holing yourself there. I hope then that Tempest is all it can be.

Do we really need a buff? If you want to argue Tempest, I’ll listen, but right now the class is in a great place. LF should be glued on your bar if you’re D/D

My favorite thing about Tempest is I don’t have to use it.

Why kitten bother

Warhorn makes sense in the buffing of allies (hearing the call and all), but it isn’t the sexiest choice. It was always going to be unpopular next to the sword.

Paragon is already in game, it’s called Guardian/Warrior, because they divided their skills up between the two. If you want a toon that throws a spear, who knows then? Ritualist still has a chance, but locked spirits in GW2 have not worked well to date, so they would need a bump. With the Rev coming, I would say there is zero chance for Derv now, who were linked to the human gods anyways. Not much credibility to a Sylvari Devish now is there?

i doubt we’ll be getting any more expac’s after this, and honestly the execution of the current one already is a colossal failure so i hope we won’t be getting any more of it, just small but frequent updates will be fine, hell i’d even pay for gems to unlock classes or races ect

Really dude? No expacs? So a new class will just make the existing maps new all over again?

Who liked fighting mesmers before? I don’t like swinging at a target that explodes in purple sparkles. I have never enjoyed fighting against a mes pre or post patch, and you know what that’s fine. The class plays great, it has infuriating skills, interrupts, dazes, that all add up to a class that feels like it should. That’s my opinion at least from the opposite side of the fence.

Agreed, rampage is fine. It is super strong but at least a third of the time a class I am going up against is prepared with ample stability and/or skills. My whole build is based on knockdowns (I have 5 on my bar), half the time I am stomping and laughing or stomping and crying. Either way, I enjoy the build.

Why take rampage away? Just step up and counter it.

Way back in GW1: Nightfall. Palawa Joko, who could turn out to be a major character again is my favorite NPC. His interactions with Zhed Shadowhoof are timeless.
