Agreed, throw in bull’s charge & rampage for two more knockdowns. It’s almost what I run, but I go axe/mace. Don’t like the lack of range on skullcrack.

Isn’t it to stop the stomp of a teammate? Or knock someone off point? I understand a knockdown would be more beneficial selfishly, but the skill does have its uses.

Silverwastes. In the west-southwest of Brisban Wildlands there is a portal.

But if you bought it there should be a new button on the character screen that says create beta. Click that one and you port directly into the Silverwastes after you create your toon.

Healers are slaves to some, and heroes to others. What the trinity would do in this game is make everyone play a character they do not want to play, or possibly be kicked from certain groups. Every group of five would need a tank & healer. That leaves three slots, putting necros, rangers, thieves, etc. at risk.

I’m with you, I only create a beta toon to get a feel and the erase. I want all story related nonsense to be fresh when HoT drops.

There are people that have 12-15 characters. I myself have 12 slots. Not sure what the confusion is.

What is worth? We pay what 13$ for a 2-hour movie, so how many hours will you put in this game? 40? Which is a low number, but isn’t 40 hours of enjoyment worth it then?

It’s been DPS since it shipped, and three years later its still about DPS.

This game is still way aways from an earth ele or sword & board warrior pulling aggro so the other four can survive long enough to burn the enemy down.

Rev is in a good place, but yes, Ele even without line casting is still the best. And Chronomancer is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Tempest got a 33% damage boost on some skills after feedback. So will berserker. Still, I needed stances to survive, not sure how they work around that.

…and the Daredevil looks absolutely amazing.

They will do it by adding non-combat obstacles in the raids. Frustrating puzzles and such where we might have to spec towards healing/toughness builds or straight speed builds just to navigate. For the bosses, they will put that defiant buff on them like Bookworm has. I still think DPS will shine through though.

Yes, and in GW1 the most prestigious armor was gated behind grinding on a scale that would not believe, because that was what there was to do in the game other then pvp.
GW1 also had you creating different party comps of support, healers, and damage dealers to meet the challenging content.
The core of guild wars pve has always been that instead of increasing the level cap to 90 and adding new level 90 gear to grind for, they add horizontal progression by increasing the number of skills available to classes and new challenges that require you to use and combine these skills in new ways.
Any steps GW2 takes towards GW1 is for the better, because GW1 is a better game in every way.

The only reason any of us should look towards any aspect of this game is fun. Any thing else is dressing. They make the raid fun and I’ll do it time and again.

Agreed, minimal grief to play, minimal grief from others in fracs/dungeons, and little weaknesses overall. Guardian is your best bet

Agree with flesh wound, get the tough stuff out of the way first, then just chip away by regions. (Shiverpeaks, Kryta, etc.). If you do too much at one time, the gears will no doubt grind. Do a map at your own pace and enjoy the rest of the game in between.

Another opinion related strand. Not everyone feels the same, like I for one think Silverwastes’ content blows. But in BWE I enjoyed some of the events, others not so much. The game is in a good place, they just need to work smarter and faster.
