Right now, esp. in dungeons I run GS w S/M, the vuln on Mace 4 is wonderful, just wondering if axe 4/5 can match up.

I run 2 Knights, 4 Zerk. Trinkets are a mix too. Condis are so powerful now, I just need a bit more survivability.

I was wondering from a WvW perspective, is PS still viable? And if so, are two melee sets recommended?

I am on Eredon Terrace and we are always outnumbered 3 to 1. Not having a ranged weapon feels suicidal.

Might effects everyone equally. If you have a problem with it then someone in your party is not giving you enough of it.

Burning affects everyone equally. WvW is a condi-kingdom now. We gotta deal with it.

But it gives me hope that Mursaat might (just might) be a playable race.

My thoughts are, that they are going to intentionally make a minuscule expansion, and then serve some of it back to us with LS. Everything they serve up in LS should be included with the drop of HoT.

It’s a clever ploy that doesn’t work anymore. Look at the reviews of the Taken King.

I main a Warrior, I am useless against MI & SR, and I am willing to accept that if more classes had reveals. Usually my party consists of a Guardian, 2 Cele Eles, myself, and a Engineer, who doesn’t usually slot goggles.

One mesmer, definitely two will not wipe us but just sit in a keep or a castle for 15-20 minutes irritating the kitten out of us.

It’s not fun for them, it’s not for us.

I am 43, married and work 50+ hours, and while I grasp what the OP is saying I couldn’t disagree more. The game should have something for everyone, and right now is slanted greatly towards the casual.

Just by logging in every day you should get one piece of ascended armor every month.

None of us owe ANYTHING to Anet. I have been with them since Prophecies, they literally have thousands of my dollars. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying we want something when we want it. The request is not unrealistic, as is Druid will be dropped, what two months after DH?

After Eye of the North killed my beloved GW1, I am wary of any expansion they talk up, and this sadly feels more like EOTN then Factions or NF.

Back on subject Rangers should complain, but that can’t fix that now. Don’t take preorders on an expansion 18% finished. That was their greed and their major mistake. After Druid drops is when they should have started taking orders, and started beta.

Thanks for the info, I was not singling out engis, or stealth. Once again stealth is not the issue counters are, so the engi has two now. Ranger has one.

Mesmers…and MI is the only ‘unfun’ part of wvw right now. I can handle server imbalance, the ever present blobs, and ACs through walls, but if classes aren’t going to get more counters (and they won’t) please bump stealth traps up to an hour lol.

I have no problem with stealth itself, well yes I kitten do, but I see now engis can grant the party stealth. The game does not need any more stealth unless it adds counters to it for EACH class. Mesmers spamming MI and clones have taken over wvw, all but ruining 1/3 of the game.

Bah, the point is add all the stealth you want, but give each class (or several) counters to it.

We will all be ripped off, but not as bad as Bungie’s theft. That being said, I am still looking forward to my Daredevil with dual pistols.

I have been with Anet since GW1, expansion means more, expansion means bigger. Think we might fall short.

Zerker is great, but I like having some Vitality in the mix.

Simple, double the bleed on the AA, bump the damage on 3 (or lower the init), and the same for 5.

If you measure the Daredevil on staff skills then yes it is meh. But those traits pair up nicely with existing weapons.

And of course, Rev would be one. They want us to be blinded by the new class.

At the least…more viable.

But since they’re not going to make those changes, yes P/P looks very viable with daredevil. Distracting Daggers specced with Impacting Disruption will become a fav of mine as well.
