I have found that stability lessens some of Kohler’s damage when he spins. So let’s say you’re on your Warrior, pop your stability like 5 seconds in, and when he spins try to dodge roll at the right time(a lot of the game boils down to this mechanic)and use mending or the signet that cleanses conditions. You’ll get it after a few tries.

Don’t get mad at yourself if you go down at the Spider Queen. She sucks. Just kill one of the little spiders to get right back in the fight.

And when you’re skipping the trash make sure you have Balanced Stance or Dolyak!

Listen, I am all for the devs ramping up the difficulty in PVE, but with the exception of Triple worm, nothing I have ever encountered in PVE could be considered ‘difficult’. Until I had the unfortunate experience of trying to get the dive master achievement. To do this you have to get to the very top of this maddening JP. It took me about forty minutes and a revive orb to get to the almost-grail like goggles. And guess what? We’re not done there, because on the mile long drop my toon hit at least three pipes and splattered.

Do the devs understand how deflating this is? Do they care lol?

So guy any tips for the jump? I’m sure if I roll the sleeves up, I can make it back up, but I can’t take the soul crush if I die on the way down again.

There are plenty of classes that can spec healing lessening the need for a Druid.

Just a sidebar devs, but if you read this entire thread like I did, you would notice MAKE FAST HANDS BASELINE 31 times.

31 times in a thread based on berserker shows just how strongly we feel about this. No matter how good/bad you make berserker there will be little build diversity until you provide this simple fix.

They were obviously going to make Revenant superior early on, as they want us all to make one and play it. Six months on they will nerf it when the new car smell fades.

After Thief, Warrior is the next class most hated by the other classes.

Makes you wonder if Anet falls victim to the in-game perceptions.

It’s good to hear that there will be more hairstyles coming out. I just hope that if you buy the expansion, you won’t have to turn around and buy a kit just to change to the new options. It would be nice if you got 1 free change on each of your characters.

I solo most of what I can, but (sigh) this has been said every which way it can. This is an MMO, there are plenty of other games that are designed to fit your solo tastes. By making content stiff enough that you have to group into party it builds upon the social aspect that is the spine of all MMOs. A game like this is only as strong as its players, and if the population is running around by themselves the game will suffer for it.

Super Adventure Box is just there, when it dropped, you either entered or did not. Sometimes retro IS cutting edge.

I started a thread on the Warrior page about thinking about running banners and shouts when HoT drops.

One of my fellow players stated that if we go full blast in healing power we gain an extra 62.5 healing on the 1000 the shout provides.

How can Arenanet not look at that number and laugh?

I’ve been thinking of crafting a second set of ascended armor for HoT, and run banners and shouts. Just wondering if the regen banners offer gets a bump from HP?

Also what about the 75 regeneration boosters from BLCs?

The issue is with healing power not with Druid.

I main Warrior and 0% of me wants to play Berserker. Whether or not the elite skills are any good, they are (for the first time) providing us with different builds.

Agreed, great points. Blademaster is underwhelming in comparison, but I have never considered using anything because of harpoon guns.

2 second stun on shield as compared to the Mesmer’s instant cast signet that does 3 seconds?

In pvp I play axe/mace with hammer and one of the most frustrating classes is an engineer with a FT. I might as well be throwing marshmallows at the dude.

I know what the OP said. Ele’s are F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C right now, and have zero need for a weapon swap anywhere. You have twenty skills on a weapon.

No, but if raids are going to be facemelt, then we should all do our part to take on a portion of the healing. With zealot’s or cleric’s you can take Standard and Tactics or Defense banners with a couple of shouts with trooper runes. Use hammer or mace/shield to constantly apply weakness, and you have a solid front line build that will take heat off the healers.

Or maybe the raid gets nerfed and we zerk through the whole thing.
