This is the one time where WoW is superior. Taming a pet was more epic IMO because the pet would disappear if someone beat you to the punch. Then you’d have to wait, a bit tedious but, oh how it added that glory when the pit became yours.

That aside, I like the new pets for HoT especially Tiger, but they need more vanilla options for pets. Like Dolphin in water, or Raptor on land.

I’ve brought this up in other posts, it DOESN’T matter how great the raid is, all of us players will blow through the pve content in less than two weeks. Leaving us what, one path of one raid? I’d like to know the percent of players that are level 50 fractals? Less than 5% I’d wager.

The game is not strong enough to strip players of one game type. My guild runs every game type, and not once have I seen a guildie get rich running AC/CoF. It’s an excuse, and a poor one at that, for them to kill content they don’t want to put manpower on.

Lux no drama, I’m with ya. Jump into wvw on a Wednesday morning and tell me the game population is still strong. What has this game sold, 7 million copies? Lucky if a million still play. Not to compare, but WoW had over 10 million subs for what half a decade. Players decide the fate of a game, and if you continually make it harder for them to enjoy your game, then they’ll catch on.
We need changes that IMPROVE the QoL in game. They are a few slips from pushing the players off the ledge.

Just remove explorable, and keep story for those wishing to do so.

And then when 2.6% of the game population applauds your work on level 74 Fracs, the devs can pat themselves on the back and say job well done.

Also, add portals to each of the dungeons in our guild halls, so we don’t lose more money running for the bus.

My guild does everything there is, but twice a week we run AC & CoF, and now you’re saying we will get LESS rewards? How can you get less from AC? We walk out of there with 32 blue items and a slice of garlic bread!

Fractals are cool, but now you’re saying we HAVE to run fracs. How mighty white of you.

The dodge mechanic is still any classes best friend. Heavy armor mitigates more damage, but we’re talking mere seconds more of survivability. Conditions after the summer patch are a bear, and armor ignores them so…yeah learn to stick and move. Learn the greatsword backwards and forwards, because not only is it a DPS monster, it provides us the best mobility. Remember skill 3 is a dodge, if you burnt your two dodges already.

The same people that complain about recycled events are the people that decorate the same Xmas tree the same way for over thirty years.

You need to do it before you craft your legendary, so I agree with Artanis, go for it now. I mean right now lol, before the Halloween events drop. Right now in the dead spot you could easily bang it out.

And then if we have to clear the HoT maps you can worry about just those.

BTW the Incinerator is kitten, disco destroys, the shortbow is a pony-fueled one-man riot, the Predator is face-melt cool, the GS serves as a timepiece as well as a murder machine, some people dig Bards (hence Minstrel), the Jug is a lamp post of destruction, the Bifrosty is the bridge to the gods, if it’s good enough for them, why not you?
