To this point, after playing berserker, I have never once said I have to spec for this.

The engineer gets compared because turrets and spirits were ground locked. Mesmer plays nothing like anything that’s come before, Mesmer included. I think the Ritualist got torn into pieces and split into multiple classes, virtually assuring that we will never see the Rit again.

How does anyone (excluding wvw/pvp only players) not have ascended armor yet?

This happened when the game dropped. BWE2 mobs were challenging, this weekend they are preschool. When the game drops we will have something in between. I agree with Krall, our enjoyment is trivial compared to any feedback we can give that might help the finished product.

In BWE1 I got a headache from traversing through the Pocket Raptors, but we are not talking about the same thing are we? I didn’t stay long enough in VB to experience any issues like this, but I’l plus one for you.

For a game that caters to the masses, they certainly don’t have enough in place to prevent things like this. I also think they completely ignore the color blind for instance.

I personally like it. Open world pve is supposed to be like this outside of events. Just trying to get to point A to point B shouldn’t involve snipers randomly coming out killing me and stopping every 5 seconds for a fight.
You now have higher level fractals and raids for what you are looking for.

Absolutely disagree. In GW1 people paid other characters to run their toons to Drok’s. Because fighting through the trash would take hours. If you think easy is the road to take, what will you do 9 days later when the content is sleepy?

And….(sigh), once again this is an MMO, designed with groups of people playing together to sift through content.

Metal Gear is a great solo experience.

Even if they don’t bump it all the way up, it shouldn’t be preschool. They do this at their own peril. If cats blow through content too fast, they will only have themselves to blame.

If I going to be that frustrated by a map, I’ll go with the one that gives easier rewards.

The pistol was invented to cause damage to others. Put one in the hands of a caveman and watch them bang one on a rock when their initiative burns down.

My build is similar, I am swapping Acro for DA and I am going with Impact Disruption and Lotus Training in DD.

Going 2x Assassin & 4x Carrion for armor. Assassin on both heaters.

I am going with needle trap, and caltrops to keep people away, and a signet to boost my precision. Basilisk for elite is just my personal choice.

Have my precision with food buffs at 93% right now. I guess we’ll see how we fare?

I don’t think gear is the argument here, it’s the tone used against those who play different than you.

I have seen plenty of PUGs in full ascended zerker do everything wrong. It’s still a skill based game. Still takes chemistry and coordination no matter your stats.

If I ever have the unfortunate experience of raiding with someone who asks what gear I’m running. I will be raiding naked while running backwards.

Anet is on the west coast of America, so Pacific standard time is their hallmark.

I think though, the counter argument is that if most classes specced to bump their self heals and party-wide support, there will be less need for a straight healer. If we all go into the raid rocking zerker with straight burn down skills, then yes we might need a heal only class.

Until healing power gets bumped, Druid or any other class will only be theories.

But besides what I personally want, I don’t think Guild Wars can afford to do cheap endings or story progression, I get invested in the story but Zaithan was the worst ending to a story that I played in my life and 90% of that was because it was a personal story fight for an amazing dragon that I had so many expectations and would have rather killed it with a raid.

GW2 is the second worst ending ever. I will never, ever forgive Bioware for ME3.

The only two that make me say, I have to spec this, are Chrono and Druid.

I will spec Daredevil without staff.

And Herald is probably the best elite spec, but they did that intentionally.

To put in perspective, mace4 on the warrior doubles the vuln we have on hit and does 300+ on hit.

Well, looking at that shaman’s map, verdant brink is definitely bigger than Silverwastes or Drytop, but not bigger than them BOTH.

I remain skeptical.
