3 weaponsets is way to overpowered. Imagine the rotations you could make with 3 weaponsets. It would make all the other professions cry.

Agreed, and besides they are all about the easy route. For example we never got guild capes, because ‘it is really difficult’ to program.

Or just get rid of it altogether.

Nothing can be said for those players now wandering. There will be those of us that still get excited to play, but there is a large percentage of players that have stayed the course for three years and still no expac. For any players it does lose, Anet has no one to blame but themselves.
And don’t mention living world.

They may add weapon swap, but it is way too late to start changing skills per legend.

I could care less bout meta. But with the other classes I can still play a number of different ways because I can still burn things down. On Rev I couldn’t, at least this weekend I couldn’t

I used p/p/ before, I use p/p now. I don’t miss ricochet. Move on, losing the range sucks, but there are ways around this.

Mesmers will get snipped, and then Chronos will melt faces. Before the patch I felt a properly played thief was the most frustrating class. I’m sure I wasn’t alone, now its Mes. Maybe its someone else’s turn on the carousel

They need to bump dps across the board so you do not feel lacking when you are one of the other legends. Seems a simple fix on paper.

That is a terrifying point actually. Other than adding more legends how can they fix?

Almost every arc of the personal story takes the player underwater, no matter what path you choose. That assures Rev will be going swimming.

Correct, I know they can fix it, but while things stay the course, Shiro is just gonna pigeon hole kids into one build.

I am pumped for Mr. Tagachi to be back in the fold, but unless they ramp up dps across the board, how does this fix anything? In the next beta every cat will run around with Shiro & Mallyx trying to burn things down in an instant. Hence, there will be no build variation. Not good, but am I missing something?

I like P/P as well, but like babazhook stated, I find INI management to be my main issue.

They will bump DPS no doubt. Whether they change staff or not is anyone’s guess

Also agreed, I run builds that may or not be inferior just because I enjoy them. We are in the minority here though with DPS.

The second solution sounds like Anet could put that in place with minor stress. Auto swap weapons with legend swap.

Not even a transformation, just a animation even. An acknowledgement that we have stepped into the mists maybe.

I’m with you Abnaxis. Just saying I will judge it at a later date. And also think some of those polishes people are screaming for might take away from the feel of the class. Choice of legend to weapon I think will always remain a static thing.
Fix the DPS and people will accept boring, uncomplicated, and vanilla. They want to burn things down as fast as possible

Do you see this as a revenant problem, or a PvE problem? Personally I’m falling on the later. I agree Shiren. I still think the last patch to our traits was the first step in getting away from this, but does the population want to?

Just got my second Warrior to 80, and on the first I use GS/Axe & Mace standard builds, but on this toon I am experimenting with Mace/Mace(Shield). I am fully tricked out on exotics with an ascended necklace. My power is 2351. Getting close but what is the bottom line we should strive for?

I am positive there are enough people rocking Rev that I don’t have to do something for nothing.

He also complained about guardian. One of the strongest classes in game.

It’s pretty. Visually I liked my skill bar when I was Ventari until I popped the tablet. Then I felt Fett escorting frozen Han.

I worry that some lottery item (like a pre-cur) will drop while testing the rev so I really can’t be bothered playing it. It’s kinda cruel mixing the test up with the live game and not letting you keep the loots/karma/exp gained while playing. It’s unrewarding. Maybe it’s just me.

The personal story for the Rev will be the same as every other class. There will be NO NEW choices other than the cosmetic headband. You can still pick from the existing racial choices.

Revenants are the best at being unfinished.

Then they should have waited longer on this faux-beta. Being PVE only I did not have much reason to play as a Rev. I’ll play it when its finished thanks.

I have plenty of words that all come out kitten. I’ll choose…Human only.

Kind of torn here, I almost would prefer to gain skills slowly instead of everything at once. I understand for testing purposes why Anet did it this way. But not playing WvW or PvP, why would I even play a Rev this weekend? I know I am making one when HoT drops, I’d rather just go in dry.

And don’t get me started on the Human only thing.
