What is this “any class can do just as well if played properly” argument?
Truth is that rangers, necros and engis are worse than other professions.
What’s so painful on that, so that people continuously bring up such arguments. Back to gw1 I never see such complaints. Noone ever gets to the idea of arguing that it isn’t paragons, monks, warriors, dervishes and assassins that are not used in uw because of being bad in that content but rather the players playing improperly. Alright, most of those professions have uses in other sc’s or at least in urgoz/deep.

Warriors on their own aren’t so great. They need to know to play. But warriors with some guardian support? Different matter entirely.

I’m not sure if there’s an easier or stronger profession for solo play.

Don’t listen to guang, ever. He has absolutely zero knowledge about actual game circumstances and his theorycrafting isn’t any better. Even his spreadsheet and rotations used to be full of errors.

Necros can do that just fine. Spectral Walk allows you jumping in the air, combine it with flesh worm and you can jump three times as high/far as normal.

Not saying it’s bad, just saying an ele is better.

Unfortunately nothing that can’t be fgs’ed would promote taking an engi about an ele. Never. Ever. Nowhere. As for nightmare tree, if running 1 warrior 1 thief 3 eles or 1 warrior 1 thief 1 engi 2 eles, that would still be superior. Simply due to another icebow and metor shower killing tree before engi stacked 10 stacks of vuln.

Engi sucks there, compared to an additional ele.

Cmon guang, just give us an example where an engi is good already.

I don’t want to sound like i am undermining your achievement bcuz that is probably the first video i seen an engineer solo lupi off wall but i feel like RNGesus favored you in phase 3. There were many times where lupi could of domed you or could rapid fire and then life drain and then rapid fire when you are completeing defenseless but he doesn’t

I’ve actually been pretty unlucky that kill, as I took quite a lot of random rapidfire and p2 aoe transition hits, additionally he has been quite active for most part. Also, this was my first attempt and it was with battle sigil, going with energy will take care of any eventual endurance lack. And last, but not least, there was just one point where he could have bubbled me, although it was very unlikely to happen. Tldr: nothing strange about the kill, just a bit unlucky.

My blood pressure is atleast 150/90 right now. Sometimes I feel like running absolute crap just so pugs can see the utter crap they are running but that probably wont do anything because they are most likely blind and stupid.

I’ve hosted several arah groups before labeled as “experienced speedrun (berserker gear only)” where i ran on my full healer build cleric ele and nobody even questioned anything, even with me having Benevolence stacks and chocolate as food.

The last time i did that it took us about 25 minutes to even get past hunter/crusher.

It was fabulous.

About when will the first dungeon runs take place, by the way? It might be somewhat problematic getting NA and EU teams together at the same time.
