I think this is a troll thread…. seems like it’s meant to get people upset…and it’s working
You’re so dour. What’s wrong with a thread dedicated to raising qualms with balance?
People are already upset. This thread has nothing to do with it ;D
People are upset because their favorite builds keep getting nerfed to the point that they can’t use them anymore, so of course they are gonna get more upset whenever people suggest they continue getting nerfed, you’re just throwing fuel onto the already blazing inferno. If anything we need buffs not more nerfs. I’d suggest buffing all the core skills & traits that haven’t been used by anyone in ages… and leaving it buffed not continuing with this merry -go-round of oh lets nerf then buff then nerf then buff then nerf even more. And put back all the amulets and runes that got removed over the years so we can have more viable builds.

ANET asked the community’s opinion and added a healer class, ie auramancer ele and to a lesser extent Druid.
I’ve seen posts on this forum for years asking for the “holy trinity” to be brought to GW2. So I don’t think it’s reasonable to ask that it be removed.
Besides, the healer is the answer to overwhelming conditions. Hell, with time you might even see an Ele/zerk war or zerk Mesmer combo. I’ve seen it a couple of times in PvP and it’s deadly.
I’d like to see fewer interrupts, especially from MM pets and scrappers.
please tell me which minions other than flesh golem is interrupting you…..
its a small minoirty of people looking for the holy trinity
Just because a few people on the forums who are VERY vocal want a game where there’s no healing or damage mitigation whatsoever, doesn’t mean you speak for the majority. So don’t pretend like the majority wants their game like that because I’m sure they don’t. I find it very boring when all my teammates run in die in seconds rez and repeat, I find myself going afk sometimes in those kinds of matches.

-Surge of the Mist 3s cast timeThis is comedy gold. Shows why these threads are absolutely pointless.
Well the thing is, everyone wants to have all the professions/ builds that they do not play to be nerfed into uselessness so they can play what they like and beat everyone else very easily. And I do believe some one listens to them or at least some of them because all my favorite builds that I enjoyed playing over the years have been nerfed into uselessness, and never get used by anyone ever ( accept maybe an occasional new player who doesn’t know any better, but I’m sure they learn REAL quick that they can’t play whatever skills they want and be useful here)
Yes, teammates all dying in 2 seconds isn’t quick enough, lets continue to nerf everything that could possibly keep something alive for any amount of time, since I guess last patch’s nerfs to sustain clearly wasn’t enough. We need to be 1 shotted quicker yup totally. And while were at it lets add more daze, stun, and knock backs, 2 whole straight minutes of that isn’t anywhere near enough. Brilliant ideas here, some one make it happen.
This isnt your ask for s4 buffs wishlist, Ellie. You’re meant to wish for nerfs.
Geeze, some people.
I will never ask for nerfs( in a serious way) since nerfs is the reason I no longer have any builds that I enjoy and 1 of the reasons I don’t play anywhere near as much as I always did before. ( I’m from gw1 aka build wars so I love having many useful, fun builds to chose from, it helps prevent boredom)
But it would be interesting to see everything get nerfed even more, I mean most skills and traits are never used any more so I wanna see how it is when there’s even less to choose from. Or they could just premake our 1 build for each class and say here this is all you are allowed to use, that would work too.
OP obviously never played a necro….if anything necro’s boon corruption should be toned down. Try something similar to this if you want to destroy ele’s sustain http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Necromancer_-_Vanilla_Condi_Necro or just use 1 of those heavy cc builds that everyone is running around with since most ele’s don’t bring much stability.

Yes this makes me very sad as well, I have a solo guild just me in it and I used to be able to make banners, now I can’t. Seems like everything we enjoy just keeps getting taken away from us.
Why force some 1 to wear an ugly tag next to their name?
When I first got the tag I thought: “what is this?” and I looked all over to find the box where I could uncheck it… didn’t find it and I don’t like seeing it.
Yea that’s why I decided not to play this season, that and my mmr is rock bottom which means I’ll never win again…. But yea no ugly pvp tag for my beautiful characters
Why force some 1 to wear an ugly tag next to their name?
Not me, I LOVE not having a pvp badge next to my name, since the badges have absolutely nothing to do with skill level, but some people mistakenly think it does. Also yea, they aren’t that pretty, except diamond, that’s the only 1 I like, but I’m not gonna stress myself out with some dumb idiotic matchmaking to try and get it especially since my mmr is rock bottom these days.
Seeing as how a LOT of people (including myself) love tribal armor, I don’t understand why they don’t give it to us & in many versions. They seem to always have the same theme with armor and outfits….big, bulky, poofy, very concealing, trench coats, butt capes………..Come on people want tribal armor, give it to them already. ( in many versions otherwise everyone in game is going to be wearing the exact same armor)
(edited by Ellie.5913)
the right solution would be a “surrender” button …
We definitely need this, there’s no point in wasting all day on a match if its 100% for sure that you’re not gonna win, best to hurry up and end it so you can move on to the next hopefully better match.
I think a lot of people want gw2 play style to be something like this, and it is getting closer and closer to it imo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FruDiBguzM
I just learned that I’m casual, and GW1 is the most epic funnest game I have ever played, (wiki is there for a reason) I love my build wars.
The problem with the term casual is that it has multiple meanings. The casual play style however, is to play with little effort, as in, difficulty setting -> just the story. Picture SAB infantile mode for example. These players just want to have casual fun and will tend to jump into the game pressing buttons with little knowledge of what they’re doing. They’re not going to bother with putting in extra effort to learn and research the game, so most will never see those easy builds or even know about the wiki or other resources. What most will end up doing is using whatever skills they were given and a random set of henchmen, as most tend to play MMOs like single player games, which made the game very difficult, and when these players can’t progress, they’ll simply move on. There’s a reason why the average player “stands in fire” and most MMOs balance solo content around those players.
I have a feeling that most people who play games don’t play them as carelessly as you just described, most actually do want to succeed at whatever it is that they are doing and will find a way to help them to do that if it is holding their attention and interest to the point that they care enough to figure it out. As for gw1 it was EXTREMELY easy to figure out how to get help, hit menu-click help- read all the many help options they give- click wiki- read wiki a bit, then look up what you need help with. GW 1 was my first online game and even I figured out things I needed to know with the greatest of ease ( and I tend to be a bit ditsy and slow thinking at times) I didn’t even know that the game was to be played with other people so I didn’t really pay that much attention to others, but that didn’t stop kind hearted people from approaching me and asking me if I needed help when it appeared to them that I might be lost xD
But yea, I liked that definition of casual player in a previous post about not treating a game like a job and just playing for fun entertainment, which is what I do. I don’t like stressing out myself trying to make a team then be told exactly what gear to use, what skills to use, when and how I gotta play and then yelling at me & calling me names or kicking me from the group because I didn’t do something perfect enough, THAT is not my idea of how games should be played so if it means I’m a casual then I’m a casual and happy to be so. And yes gw1 was very casual friendly AND very super serious elite pro competitiveness friendly as well.
GW1 never supported the casual play style as the game was all about builds. Since casuals are more likely to use random builds, the content could become nearly impossible. With the right setup however, the game was trivial, but casual players generally don’t put in a lot of effort, follow guides, research or etc.
That was true until build templates got introduced at while point it was just a couple clicks to load a build or you see what you were missing for a particular build.
I just learned that I’m casual, and GW1 is the most epic funnest game I have ever played, (wiki is there for a reason) I love my build wars. How can it not be easy for casual, solo players whenever you have these amazing things called heros ( and early on in the game you have something called henchmen) that follow you around and kill things for you. And if you’re clueless about builds you just look one up or ask someone in town, most people were VERY happy to share a build if you asked them too, I remember asking some one for a build and he gave me like 15 different builds, very proud of his builds he was. And the pvp in that game was very nice, you had options for super hard core organized gamers to pvp, and other options for those who just want to do some more casual laid back pvp, and it was all very fun. And if you were having trouble all you had to do was ask and there was usually plenty of people that offered to help (back in the day when it was super populated) So yea don’t say gw1 wasn’t casual friendly it was super casual friendly AND had options for hard core super organized extremely competitive gamers as well.
Spring festival.. that sounds nice, even lord of the rings has tons of festivals like that, why cant gw2?
I do miss the festivals, though the last one that happened in GW2 was that Year of the Ram one, right? I didn’t even participate in it. Halloween is always my favorite because there is a bigger variety of things to do. Even carving pumpkins while you are already doing other things in other maps adds a bit of fun to it. I wonder what the next one will be, and when? Those always have something for every kind of player.
Yea the lunar new year was the last one, although super adventure box was after that, I guess you can call that a festival or at least something to do when you don’t really have anything else to do in the game. They used to have more festival type things, I don’t know why they don’t any more. They also removed some things from the halloween festival that they used to have, like lunatic inquisition, that used to be a really fun thing to do in the halloween festival and for some reason they got rid of it last year http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lunatic_Inquisition
Out of all the games I’ve played gw2 definitely has the least amount of festivals.

So please define casual as it applies to your posts
Casual, defined is often associated with relaxed approach, with notations of not possessing Serious Intent while engaging in the activity. IE: They are just Casually Playing a game of B-Ball, they are not looking to deal with some NBA wannabe.
When it comes to MMO’s, often it means people who want to be able to just play the game, not treat it like a second job. Casuals realize they are not going to save the world playing a MMO, in fact they are not even going to learn any valuable life skills, it’s just purposeless entertainment.
Urban Dictionary Offered this Gem of a Definition.
“Casual” – A pejorative term used by the “gaming elite” to describe any person(s) who doesn’t measure up the standards these sycophants have set for their definition of what a true gamer is.
So it’s not a question of skill, but as you said,it’s only when you have the right mindset, but what do you do when you don’t?
By this definition I am definitely casual (even though I play games a lot) who wants to be stressed out by a game… games are supposed to be fun.
That’s why I don’t like being matched with or against premades…..you obviously got the weaker premade on your team. They probably just now started learning pvp.
@Baest (and therefore in direct reply and on-topic, since the question is relevant to my assertions in this thread)
My game play isn’t the issue. I’ve been teaming and boosted into Diamond where I play adequately if not great.
I will not post a video of my game play. I did that last season. After doing so, I was asked to kill myself in RL. The player was apparently annoyed to see me on his team. These kind of comments continued for a week or so.
There was some good feedback and I improved my game as a result. Overall though, it wasn’t worth the price.
You gotta ignore trolls AND report them, they’ll probably get a ban if you report em for saying stuff like that. But yea don’t let em get you down, they aren’t worth listening to.
How would you know what they were talking about if they were all the same word? o.O
I’m pretty sure I’m playing the same game, but maybe you guys are getting put on better teams or something (or have a premade) because most of my teams run in and all die like in 2 seconds, rez and repeat. Before all the defensive skills got nerfed and defensive amulets got removed that didn’t happen as often as it does now. Also I had way more fun builds to play back in those days, now not so much. HoT builds get old fast.
Most of the “meta” builds atm are really tanky and can deal a lot of damage. I found the game more interesting when there were squishy builds that did high damage and tanky builds that did low damage.
There has always (imo) been an issue with might stacking that allows players on some builds/classes to run high defence and high damage, but now the situation of “tanky + high damage” is almost out of control.
I don’t run HoT meta builds often ( since I only play in unranked these days on my main account that has HoT, I don’t see it necessary ) and most of my teammates definitely are NOT tanky, quite the opposite in both unranked and ranked where I play on my free account occasionally, which only has core skills. So yea I don’t see a lot of tankyness in any of my matches. Before HoT though there was plenty tankyness and support builds that I really enjoyed a lot, and now its all gone. So that with the fact matchmaking is horrible and there’s far too many premades in solo queue, I really don’t enjoy pvp anymore. And if there’s lots of tanky super damage dealing builds, I haven’t seen many, the closest I’ve seen that could possibly be tanky AND damage dealing would be berserker but that’s about it. Some say scrapper is tanky and super damaging, but I don’t see it, especially since they got huge nerfs to their defense skills and it’s not that easy damaging some 1 with a hammer whenever you have to chase them down just to hit them ( that’s why I don’t use hammer engi, I run a squishy pistol engie instead)
If you want to play tanky with lots of damage- reaper, scrapper, ele, condi warrior, some rev builds.
Thief and mesmer tend to be pretty squishy, but thief has a couple of builds that make them almost impossible to hit/pin down or apply condition damage to, while mesmer still seems to have a decent condi build that can survive for a long time and apply great condi damage.
DH is like a trap ranger on steroids with access to stability, stun breaks, etc in addition to great burst, and rangers have a couple of druid options which provide a lot of survivability (far more than pre-hot) without really losing out on damage.
Anyway they are the builds I tend to run up against most matches- when people are playing something different its usually really easy to blow them up.
Yea those are all HoT meta builds, and ele’s meta build doesn’t do a lot of damage, I’ve played it plenty to know that. And mesmers are very squishy now that they got rid of their amulet that helped them to survive better. The only things I see there that would do a LOT of damage and be tanky would be berserker. And reaper if you count the necro’s death shroud ability as being tanky. And the scrapper if hes REALLY experienced but they did get a huge nerf to their survivability through skill and trait nerfs, weapon nerfs and amulet removals. Dragon hunters die very easy in most cases. And I hate playing rev because they are the opposite of tanky, mine dies super fast.
And yes most or all non HoT builds are very easy to beat if you are running HoT builds.

I don’t get why so many feel entitled after getting 1000s of hours from this game, I have never seen so many make such a deal and claim the sky is falling over an mmorpg releasing some harder content before, usually people understand why there needs to be a mixture, your just going to have to be patient, you aren’t paying a monthly fee if you don’t mind it, then play something else until they release the content you want.
Its not doing any good making thread after thread as how you think the game should be, there is criticism and there is entitlement.
YES perfect solution, I agree. We should all leave the game and come back in a couple years (or longer) after they’ve added something we’d enjoy doing. Eureka!
If this is 1 of those lets name what we want nerfed threads can I plz get all those things that do perma daze, stun and knock backs nerfed? I find those the most annoying.
I simply want DH buffed. Is that too much to ask?
UM NO, it’s not, if I was the game makers I’d totally buff it for you!
( the reason I asked that question was because people started listing all the professions they wanted nerfed, like they tend to do a lot on here, and that’s probably why DH got nerfed in the first place)
Or learn to be a guitarist in a rock band…. whichever works for you better.
Why do you keep trolling? If you have never faced a good ele then you must be having easy games, congratulations. Nobody said they couldn’t be beaten, but to suggest that a good ele can be dropped as simply as hitting them is foolish.
Dude who’s trolling? You sure do sound angry for some reason….. All I did was quote yours and Ross’s suggestions on how to play ele….since the OP’s topic was getting seriously lost in angry rants about how ele is invincible and this and that.
Or learn to be a guitarist in a rock band…. whichever works for you better.
All you have to do is look up auramancer on metabattle, it’s right there. He spams auras team wide.
There’s your answer OP, go read metabattles and you’ll be invincible
Welp so far everyone is giving statements about how ele is invincible and can’t be killed and how he prevents his teammates from being killed also, but not 1 single person has answered the question of how all this is done, and that’s what the OP is asking. Personally I don’t have an answer because I’ve never come across any invincible ele’s, most I see are pretty darn squishy.
I don’t believe in healing on this game, some say it can be done but I just don’t see it, not in any significant amounts anyways. Bring back monks.
Eles don’t just heal, they buff constantly. A good ele can be almost immortal.
Welp, I haven’t come across any immortal ones yet,(the last match I played, the ele in my team died constantly to a thief then started chasing the thief and yelling at him for the rest of the match calling him a “bad thief” was pretty funny I lol’d a lot xD) and I have been playing for quite a while. If it’s boons that makes them immortal then that’s pretty useless since mesmers and especially necros can get rid of those boons pretty easily and constantly .
Current meta mes has no boon removal. Shatter mes has it in spades, but he’s weak in the meta (cant handle condi’s, cant stand on point, cant do reliable damage etc). So mes is out. Necro on the otherhand, he’s your only hope XD
Mesmer has lots of boon removals all you need to do is maybe change one of your utility’s and you’ll have some, not everyone plays meta but yea if you want boon removal on mesmer you can have it. And necro has kitten tons of boon removal, they practically never run out of it . Also mesmers can shut down ele pretty easy with moa if they are really good at what they do, not to mention the crap tons of dazes and stuns and all that, I freakin hate fighting against a good mesmer, can’t hardly cast anything.
Due to the prevailing threat of hard counter condi berserker, some condi chrono’s have opted to swap out signit for null field as stripping that resistance will ruin the berserker’s day.
Otherwise domination must be taken (doesnt fit in meta build), or there’s GS (full power weapon isnt going to see use outside of power/hybrid which would probably take Dom anyway). It’s not that the mesmer doesnt have options, it’s what options are viable.
Of course in the land of pugs there’s always the possibility of rolling over the comp by bringing something they’re not ready for. And in the land of premades you can always comp with prestige.
All this said, swapping out for null field significantly weakens the condi chrono. Illusion sig = 50% reduction in shatter skills and all related effects (dps and sustain), blink = zero stun breaks, and portal = mobility/competitive viability. So ya, don’t act like building for boon strip is a meaningless thing XD
Priorities…. depends on what you value most I guess.

Yea and more body type modification would be nice, I don’t like my characters having stick figures, that’s just not pretty in my opinion. And to the person who said less anime faces, I totally agree, yea some people like that look but a lot of others don’t, I’d rather have a realistic looking character than an anime looking one.
I don’t know if it’s balanced but it sure is boring that there’s not a lot of viable builds anymore. So if balanced means everyone runs the same exact build then I’d rather have it unbalanced. Also I find it very frustrating how fast most of my teams die, I just really don’t see the point in everyone getting 1 shotted… how is that fun, I know that’s what a lot of people asked for but I seriously don’t see how it’s fun or makes any sense.
The one shot is likely offense vs. offense an lots of offense needs stacking with all the on demand protection with tanky runes and amulets floating around on top of lots of sustain and invulnerability skills. I think thief damage needs to be reduced by 15% across the board (except for sword/dagger) but have a very slight net buff (except for auto attack) despite that since everyone’s sustain would be nerfed.
I talk “stay here on point”, and the braindead in my team leaves the point to run around, no capturing points.
Sometimes you just have to intercept bunkers before they contest a point where they’d be really useful. If you’re a squishy you’re going to need to step off point giving them free decap whereas if you fight them while they’re going to the point you have more freedom of movement to disengage or go to the other point as needed so the bunker’s advantage when he reaches the point is minimized.
That’s the problem, I don’t see bunkers anymore ever or healers at least not on my team and if the other team has them they aren’t really that effective. I guess I’m just soo used to playing games where I get healed and stay alive long enough to kill something that maybe gw2 just will never be fun to me since it’s pretty much the opposite of that. Also, all the best tanky amulets and runes got removed so there really isn’t much tanyness anymore, and if they do try to go tanky they sacrifice ALL their damage so they aren’t that useful.
I don’t know if it’s balanced but it sure is boring that there’s not a lot of viable builds anymore. So if balanced means everyone runs the same exact build then I’d rather have it unbalanced. You can run virtually anything you want in solo queue. If you need a build to carry you, then sorry that you’re bored.
Yea of course you can run whatever you want, but running whatever you want doesn’t mean you’re gonna win. There’s not a lot of viable builds that would actually be useful, and they keep becoming less and less and less with all the nerfs and amulet & rune removals and the making elite specs way stronger than anything else. ALL the builds that I used to enjoy and that were useful , nobody runs anymore because if they did they’d be dead weight. And I really don’t enjoy any of the few current useful builds that everyone’s running atm, soo soo boring. And it’s extremely difficult staying alive long enough to cast anything or hit anyone with having most of the defensive skills and amulets nerfed into oblivion or flat out removed. So yea run whatever you want but don’t expect to be very useful, hope you have a really good premade to carry you if you run whatever you want.
To clarify, you can run virtually anything you want AND be useful. Let’s not pretend for one second that ranked matches are as coordinated as: 5 v 5 premades. As long as you know your build and can fulfill it in your team comp, with a compromise to adjust on composition, you should be fine.
Um no you can’t, unless you’re one of those people who have a premade or super high mmr then yea you can practically go afk and still win. But people on a team that can’t carry them can not run whatever they want and be useful…
You cannot claim that you can’t when it has already been done. It has and continues to be done. As long as the build fills a role and you’re able to play it then you are more than capable of having it work on your team. There’s tons of builds you can play because there are fewer scenarios where people are going to punish you for playing it (in our current ranked population).
Pretty much every person I’ve seen running a non HoT build dies to the other team which IS running HoT and meta builds. Heck I even tried to play a non HoT build on a free account that only has core skills and I melted like a popsicle to the other team which ofc was running HoT AND meta builds. So yea say whatever you want but no most people can not run whatever build they want and be successful against people who are running HoT and meta builds. I also tried 1 of my favorite pre HoT builds that I used to be extremely successful with and yea I died pretty quickly, not only because the amulet that went with it got removed but also because the other team was using HoT meta builds.
And like I said before, if you have a good team due to having a premade or having better teammates because of high mmr your games are gonna be very easy to win regardless of what build you play.

I’ve never had a key drop in pve OR pvp, I think the whole key drop thing is a myth.
Anet, I haven’t played GW2 in a while, but after having put almost 3k hours into it over the years I still follow it here on the forums and on Reddit. You’re losing a lot of players because of these two things.
- Prioritizing balance over fun. Fun > balance, always. I’ve seen you guys nerf things that people were having a BLAST with over and over again for years now simply because a small number of people whined that it was imbalanced (EotM, OS, Capricorn, dungeons, etc). Stop doing this.
- Catering to the hardcore crowd. What percent of your player-base raids? 10-15 percent? Yet you still pump out tons of content for them and none for your majority player-base. Stop doing this, cater to your big populations, that’s casuals, WvW, and SPvP players.
Just thought I’d let you know, since you seem intent on wrecking this great game more and more with every patch. I’ll be watching, playing other MMOs, as will many others. Hope to enjoy GW2 again some day if you guys can get it on the right path.
My thoughts exactly. We started with a some what fun game and now we have a very bland ,boring game with no variety or diversity. And way too much attention on content that most people won’t ever touch.
This is the best thread ever speaking the true facts. PvP is a team game and not a solo levelling quest grinding game play! Therefore, there should not be any soloQ in Ranked games but only premade entries.
When people soloQ most of the time there is lack of communication and a single player would like to do what he/she thinks is the best rather what the team wants. This is not meant for Ranked system. A competitive system is a team format and that is how it needs to be played.
Now when people say what about players who duoQ or go in teams of three of four? They will quit? Why they should quit? They should actually find other mates as per their skill level and ambitions and form a team. When players will do it, all that would happen is, Q time would be superfast, and games would be far more interesting rather one sided blowouts. Of course you won’t be facing situations where you would find nubs rushing to double DH in mid and dying instantly or just fighting on the road rather point…if you understand what I mean…
However it would only be successful, if Anet removes all PvE kitten from Ranked system. PvP rewards should be PvP based only with more titles for highest ranks/leagues/divisions climbed etc.
If Anet actually does this, then competitive game mode will just get rejuvenated and interesting for true PvPers.
Goodluck with that, tbh I’d like to see them do this just too see how many more people leave pvp xD
But yea the only REAL solution would be to go back to how pvp was in the very beginning whenever solo queue and team queue was split . And un-nerf all the builds that got nerfed into oblivion over the years kitten so we can have a bit of diversity.
And if you want more people in pvp you could always give better rewards, atm there’s not 1 single reward track that I am interested in doing.
Jade quarry and alliance battles was absolutely NOTHING like wvw O.o WvW is something completely different. JQ and AB was point capturing & defending game modes. In AB you had to form your team and in JQ you just hit enter battle and got put on a random team. But yea neither was anything like wvw whatsoever. WvW is a zerg fest , pretty much just follow the zerg, hit things, and whoever has the biggest zerg wins.
And yea ofc more game modes would be nice, but I have a strong feeling that they just don’t know how to make decent pvp game modes in gw2 so I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for it.

I guess we all know that if we can only queue with 5 man in the current mode (conquest) the PvP community will decline very fast.
Other players idea (including me) is to get different game modes like GW 1.
Random Arena = soloQ (team death match)
Hall of Hero’s = 5 man
GvG = 5 manI dont list the other casual “PvP” modes because they were not competetive.
So except RA, you were forced to get not 5 but 8 people together to play. And it worked super perfect (ask every GW 1 player)
I dont see why those game mode cant be implementedMy idea (link on page one) is surely not perfect but the sad part is that there is no feedback at all (good or bad)
I always found jade quarry and alliance battles to have the perfect combination of competitiveness and easy going-ness and above all super fun. Those were the funnest 2 pvp modes imo. Hero’s accent would have been more fun if it wasn’t so hard to get into a team, people were very picky about who they let in their teams there.

You can run virtually anything you want in solo queue. If you need a build to carry you, then sorry that you’re bored.

but my idea of sexy shows the character’s physique without an excessive or impractical amount of skin.
I love skin, skin is amazing, I came into this world in nothing but skin and I’ll probably leave it the same way, the more skin the better. Cloths just get in the way. I’ve always found cloths to be very annoying, especially in excessive amounts. ( unless it’s freezing cold weather then by all means bring on the layers)
Well the OP is comparing female to male armor so I think it does go along with the subject. There’s really not that many naked female armors as everyone thinks, but yea males probably have a few less skimpy pieces than females do. The point is we ALL need more revealing armors that are all as equally revealing in both the male and female version. I still think we need Kasmeers and Farens bathing suits. Those would make a lot of people happy both male and female.
If there were white boxer shorts with love hearts on for males, I guarantee you they would be very popular for the folks that like to troll, running around with the princess wand =P
Not quite sure how you troll by wearing some kinda cloths & weapon that you like but if people don’t like it they can just not look at it, that always works for me whenever I see something I don’t like to look at. A lot of npc’s in this game wear bathing suits so it really doesn’t make sense that we can’t wear them on our own personal characters. Also we had underwear & loin cloth type of armor in gw1 and nobody had an issue with it, it they liked it they wore it, it not they didn’t wear it, simple as that. Never saw any complaints, it’s just silly to complain about what some one else is wearing on their own personal character on their game that they payed for. And also silly to force some one to wear a style of cloths that is just not to their liking. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Necromancer_Elite_Scar_Pattern_armor_m.jpg http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Necromancer_Elite_Scar_Pattern_armor_f.jpg http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Necromancer_Obsidian_armor_m.jpg http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Monk_Flowing_armor_m.jpg http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Monk_Flowing_armor_f.jpg http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Assassin_Imperial_armor_f.jpg http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Warrior_Elite_Gladiator_armor_f.jpg
Well in fairness I assumed s/he meant people who would use the character’s clothing to exacerbate their trolly/attention seeking behaviour, rather than the outfit in particular being the extent of the trolly behaviour.
It’s not a reason to not introduce different clothing options, but I don’t think s/he was saying that it was either?
And I wasn’t saying he’s the 1 complaining about what other people are wearing but there are a lot of people complaining about what other people are wearing and are extremely against anyone wearing anything the slightest bit revealing which I find very silly. Nobody in real life tells me what to wear and what not to wear so why should they on my fantasy game? Let us all wear what we want, make some sexier armor/outfits for us all , males and females like we had in gw1. That’s all I’m saying.
