Fishing>champ farming
I want fishing like this though, it was very enjoyable and required effort and skill https://youtu.be/S8eR8PghHE0 (and the fish were very colorful and beautiful)That actually looks better than most implementations in MMOs. Thanks for the example!
Yea they went all out to make fishing a very wonderful thing in that game, I loved it so much. Too bad the game shut down :/ Some one really needs to make fishing like this in a game again.

If they don’t wanna add a voice command thing at least make it yell into your speakers when you ping something like if you ping mid have it yell MID every time you ping it and so on. Anything’s better than nothing…no one pays attention when you ping or type, and typing’s too hard when you’re doing other things like fighting, healing etc.
I would LOVE fishing if it was anything like the type of fishing they had in pirates of the caribbean online ( a REALLY fun game that shut down and left all us pirate wannabes and fishermen/women no place to go to do those sorts of things :/ ) Fishing can be quite addicting and fun if it’s done right.
I don’t think they do anything about reports, every time I get viciously harassed by some kittenbag and report them I still see them online every day still harassing people. If they got any type of significant punishment for it they might stop… but judging by how they keep up the same disgusting behavior I’d say they don’t get any type of punishment for it, which is really bad. It’s sad that people can’t log onto a game and play in peace without some kitten calling them all kinds of disgusting things and constantly harassing them for no other reason but they feel like it.
This would be great especially for me since if I try to type I have to stop what I’m doing and if I try to type while fighting it looks like this gjre9gh3u8gh3u gregreughrudfg46. Most of the time I don’t even bother trying to type, it’s too much of a hassle.
Be like Fable, then?
Let’s go all the way and have a different spouse in every city!
Ohh I loved that game I tried to have 2 spouses right next door to each other and they both started yelling at me and one divorced me and left and my kid got sent to the orphanage :/
That would be a good idea though, I already suggested a while ago when people were asking for more chubby options for character creating that they should make it to where when you eat vegetables you get skinny and eating pie makes you chubby, making it realistic like Fable would be amazing.
The female version has buttcape. Yeah, thanks…
you KNOW why it has it or not? Just think for a second and you will get it? right?
What is the difference between the male and female version?
1. buttcape for female
2. FEMALES ARE ALMOST UNDER IT. Males have some really ugly pajama under it.
So. now look at the back of female and male models and lo and behold: if the male model would be as naked as the female under the ice , he would need a buttcape too. And if the outfit wasnt sexist, then the man would need a buttcape too because he’d also wearing the tanga.
But..t sadly the the man is fully covered except two small holes at the sides, so the butt is already hidden. But not for the female chara. And we can have underboob n stuff but no string-tanga I guess, so buttcape it is.Yes, having the female version be nakes, super clingy, draw focus to TnA while the men are fully clothed except their head and two faint little tears in their sides is sexist.
have to go now, but dont get me wrong-im not against that outfit per se.
I have something against the stupid sexist inequality in regards to nakedness.
Gw2 designer, look at final fantasy 14 on how its done.
geez i though you’d better than this aion level stuff
That doesn’t make any sense, these pants are just as “naked” as the ones on this ice outfit and they don’t have a buttcape on em….so why should the outfit…
The buttcape is the ugliest thing on this outfit, I can handle the rest but the buttcape is sooooooooo annoying :/
The outfit has really pretty particle effects tho, it has dyeable frost and it kinda looks like it has a flame in it too.
Start playing male characters and problem solved. Gtfo female human meta tyvm. Outfit is good, bb.
NO, males are wack YOU GTFO
Then you have a problem. I dont and so many people who play charr/male toons like me.

No I don’t have a problem maybe you do…

/signed – no butt capes. And we also have plenty of skirts and MORE than enough trenchcoats!
Yes, it’s time for tight, simple stuff and more pants. Where did all the GW1 designers go?
Where did all the GW1 designers go…bring them back!
And yes plz no more hideous butt capes, they ruin everything -_- It would be cool if we could just cut them off some how even if it meant buying some scissors from the gem store that could remove parts of armor/outfits that we hate.
I would like to thank you for finally giving us a hide pvp badge option, thanks
Oh it’s a thing alright and it happens often. I don’t think it’s fair to the all solo player team….but since when has pvp in this game been fair ever since they removed solo queue and started forcing a bunch of newbie clueless players all onto one team while the other team gets all experienced players…
Since I regularly get put on almost entire teams of people who never even attempt to capture a point I totally agree, give them a pvp boot camp where they have to train with npc’s teaching them every step of the way exactly what you’re supposed to be doing in pvp before they are allowed in ranked matches. They don’t listen to humans anyways so let npc’s try to train them. And after all that if they STILL don’t ever go any where near a point I think it’s safe to say they’re bots.
(edited by Ellie.5913)
I think it would be really nice if some one would consider making a tutorial for new players entering pvp and force them to watch it before allowing them to enter pvp matches and emphasize the importance of standing on those big colorful circles that we like to call points because it can be REALLY annoying when you get put on an entire team of people who never go any where near a point during the match, which makes any efforts of leaving the base and trying to do something useful completely pointless. Maybe give them a few practice matches with npc’s telling them what to do every step of the way that would be a nice way to teach them before they enter a real match.
Also I’m not 100% for sure but I feel like some of these so called people may be bots I mean how else can you explain 3 people on your team fighting 1 person from the other team at the trebuchet right outside your base for pretty much the entire match?
It looks better than the female version, female version has a tablecloth on its butt :’(
I hadn’t noticed it yet.. but now I do.. and it’s quite ugly
It makes me sad cause I like the outfit and it’s rare that I like any of their outfits or armors, but the huge freaky looking piece of cloth on the back ruins it

I think BDO is so popular because it has extremely beautiful armor/outfits and extensive character customization. That’s something Anet could consider if they wanted to make more money off the gem store.
I don’t know why everyone’s angry at teams, sure it’s not fair of them farming solo players but Anet was the ones who decided to remove solo queue and put them all together in one queue and let that happen. We need both queues like we had before, that would be better for everyone, and probably eliminate a lot of anger and hostility from both sides. It feels like we’re all being pit against each other and it shouldn’t be like that.
Why can’t we vote to just add a pure solo queue and keep team queue also, that would be a better option, I really don’t see this everyone in a bunch of groups of 2’s thing working very well. And I don’t want unranked flooded with premades anymore than it already is :/
If this is another what would we like in the gem store thread, I’d agree we need more variety and customization in bodies, faces and armors, outfits, and more dances, which could all be sold in the gem store. ( everyone looks so similar to me) And I would totally LOVE some stylish armor/outfits for a change like other games make. I’m sure Anet could make them too or maybe consider hiring some one who could . Something like this would be cool.
Bring back Lunatic Inquisition.
Hiya,
We’re looking for a majority for the trial step. The permanence vote will require super majority.
If the trial vote passes, the entirety of season 5 will be solo/duo.
Hi Josh
Will the matchmaker take into account so that you don’t get a 2,2,1 team vs a full solo 1,1,1,1,1 team? (move the second duo to the other team).
The system already attempts to do this for every match created and will continue to do so.
The system does not attempt to separate the 2 groups of 2 and put one group on each team, I’ve been in countless matches where one team gets 2 groups of 2 and the other team gets all solo players, and the team with all solo players usually loses by a landslide, they usually don’t even hold 1 point. If anything the system attempts to make whole teams of premades vs whole teams of solo players from what I’ve experienced, and most people already know who wins most of the time in that scenario whether they want to admit it or not.
( Talking about unranked, I’ve no idea what goes on in ranked any more since I gave up on it at the beginning of season 2 after being tortured match after match with extremely unfair imbalanced match- ups of full teams of new players vs full teams of experienced & organized players)
Who cares about floating when the female version of this outfit doesn’t even look anything like a mursaat, yea I think they reinvented the mursaat for gw2 it’s not supposed to be anything like the original mursaat that we had in gw1, so in this version of mursaat they aren’t supposed to float, they probably ride around in Ferrari’s and Mercedes-Benz.
(edited by Ellie.5913)
I’m starting to hate the gem store too but only because they won’t make a cool looking female outfit. But I’d never play a game that has a monthly fee, that’s just dumb.
THIS should be made available to female characters, it’s not fair males get such a cool mursaat costume while females are stuck with a really lame looking version that doesn’t even look like a mursaat.
Looking forward to Halloween. I like the zombie vs human events where you switch to the zombie team if you lose. I would love to hide in a bunch of castles with siege weapons holding out zombie players, then hiding or running away to live until the rescue ships arrive.
Are you talking about this? https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lunatic_Inquisition
That was really fun, and they removed it from Halloween last year for some reason. They should bring it back .
This outfit looks nothing like a mursaat, the only thing that makes it kinda sorta pass as a mursaat are the wings which aren’t even part of the outfit. The female version should be named something else if it’s not gonna look anything like a mursaat -_-
Sure, it’s not exactly like it… but it’s pretty darned close. Also, it’s worth noting that your screenshot is of a female, when the image your comparing it to is of a male…. So, that’s going to make a bit of a difference too…. at least if ANet wants to keep GW2 from being R rated.
~EW
Well the way I see it is if I’m gonna spend almost 2,000 gems on a Mursaat outfit set I should look like a darn mursaat…but I don’t, it looks dumb. I think they could of got it closer than that, especially the top part.
I wouldn’t even mind if they flattened the chest on females and gave them a manly chest as long as it looked like a mursaat…..There were undoubtably female mursaat around somewhere and unless they floated around with their breasts hanging out they probably wore the female version of that outfit.
All mursaat looked the same, none of them looked anything like the female version
of that outfit. And their cloths aren’t all ripped up on the bottom like gw2’s version of it either.Annnnd all the mursaat we saw in guild wars were male, so of course they wore the male version. So your point on that point….. is pointless.
I will give you on the ragged hems though. Arenanet has a ragged hem fetish or something and it shows up when it doesn’t make sense,
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Coventina_the_Matron Notice they call her a she, and notice she wears the same armor as males.
And just to prove my point even further I went and did the mission and took a pic of her in person
( She was attacking me so my spear got in the way but I think you can still see it pretty good)
She’s beautiful.
Who the mursaat boss? They all look the same ( at least in gw1)
And they’re all beautiful.

However it just wouldn’t be workable in the game for human females to have male armor that exposes the nipples even if it’s a male breast. To many women wouldn’t like wearing armor that exposes the chest area like that and too many cultures are breast
sensitive. It would cause controversy in a way that female mursaat armor doesnt. If it looked JUST like the male version I really don’t see how it would be an issue and if it is an issue maybe males shouldn’t wear it either then just to be fair.
It’s not an issue for males. Cultures and men aren’t sensitive to showing male nipples.
The thing is, I really doubt that most women would be attracted to an outfit that removes their breasts. There isn’t a real male equivalent to this situation but breasts are fairly central to many women’s self identity.
You’re right though. The outfit could have been stretched over to cover the breast area. Arenenets artists seem to follow templates when designing male/female armor and dont show a lot of gender boundary stretching.
Well I’m female and so are all of my characters and I absolutely adore the male aka the real mursaat version and I find the female version too plain and boring and so not like a mursaat at all. So if I can’t wear that version I don’t think anyone should get to, they should make them both cover the nipples and every inch of skin if the female version has to.
Individual women may like the male version but just look at the posts and threads that have asked for breasts on femCharr and femAsura as well as begging for them to wear feminine clothing, specifically dresses, to see that if they had made the outfit a male breast removing outfit that there would have been a lot of controversy and requests for a female version that keeps the breasts.
Srsly I don’t think it would be as big of an issue as you think but if it is then maybe they should just let everyone wear any version of every outfit so you can have a choice between the 2 and not be forced to wear the version you don’t like. That would work too.
True. But then that means men wearing women’s dresses (which I don’t have a problem with but others do) and women wearing male outfits that do expose their breasts, such as the Rainment of the Lich and possibly the Daydreamers Finery. Both of these situations would cause controversy and that’s not what arenanet is looking for.
They wouldn’t cause controversy if it was exactly like the male version and had a flat chest -_- and yea I really don’t see it being a bad thing having a choice in what you wear but w/e. Also other games let males wear dresses and no one complains…

Yes, in GW1, one of the many reasons why Necromancer was my favorite profession.. Scar Armor
I also love LOVE the elite scar armor <3

Hey guys we’re giving you back one of your amulets that allow you to make a useful build that you’ll actualy enjoy playing and maybe be able to survive longer than 5 seconds. Sike…. not in THIS game! Now shut up and play the way we tell you to <3
Eh when will all these premades get outta unranked and go do ranked, isn’t that where they belong?
I honestly don’t even know what to do anymore. No matter how well I perform in 1v1s or team fights if my teammates die then there is literally nothing I can do. We have coordinated people in teams farming solo queuers left and right with necro and engi combo and my teammates are either bots trickling into losing fights or afking for 5 minutes after the first team fight.
Seriously what the hell am I suppose to do or play in order to escape this MMR hell or whatever it is? Back in team arena or before HoT at least people knew what to do or how to play and solo queuers had chance against teams. Now I am literally a farm bot every time I queue and might as well as go afk
Welcome to gw2 pvp, hope you enjoy your stay.
I’m literally thinking about tanking my mmmr to the point where I have 10% win loss ratio and then starting to play because this is bullkitten. They make me wait 5 minutes~10 minutes for a rank game to give me bullkitten teammates who double cap or die to beasts in forest whie I win 1v2 only to find out that my team got 3 capped.
Who thought forcing people to lose because they have over 50% win ratio was a good idea? This isn’t fair for anyone other than premades.
Pvp has never been fair for anyone but premades as soon as they got rid of solo queue. I mean come on who can honestly say an organized premade team of people who all know each other somewhat and are all on team speak and all with builds that compliment each other and using synchronized attacks to completely obliterate some poor unsuspecting unorganized group of randoms who don’t know each other and maybe not even speak the same language and with about half of them totally clueless as to what the objective is in pvp matches is fair…only a liar would call that fair.

Havent you realized it yet? Soloqueuers are padding for premades only. Thats the whole reason for your existence. To fill up that spot, to make queues fast for premades.
Live with it, or quit gw2 pvp.
100% correct, and I bet unranked is pretty fun right now assuming most decent premades are in ranked atm
Those town cloths are beautiful, I don’t understand why we can’t wear them as an outfit or armor, makes absolutely no sense at all whatsoever to me.

I’d make a pistol, rifle, both bows, staff and scepter that shoot out angry screaming cats and once they hit their target they attach themselves to it like a bunch of karkas then rip it to shreds.
Oh and more flower weapons, you can never have too many flower weapons.
Sailor outfit, we have a new pvp map ocean & ship themed, game needs cute sailor outfits.
