When we first entered AR BL, we had no idea GH was going to be in that map otherwise we (or myself) would have sweeped. We did not make the same mistake the second time and made sure you and Ez were dead.

But good job, you took the keep from us and we left us clueless. All of the fight in AR BL were fun, it was just a battle of which server gives up/goes to sleep first.

Keep up the good work GH (I voted for you as the most skilled enemy guild ).

Why? I like the Q and A thing. If people want an updated score picture, they don’t have to search the thread to find it but rather look at the top. Instead of making new threads every week with the same servers, why not just stick to one. It makes sense.

And so far we’re on a huge streak for thread not being closed.

based on spvp… Anvil Rock has the most skilled players from this match up.

AR skill > Ebay skill.

However, ebay is a zerg server with 4 zerg guilds holding it together. Ebay is just winning due to population. No skill required.

You’re correct that AR’s skill may be greater than EBay’s skill. However, we’re not just winning due to numbers, we’re winning due to the fact that BP’s strategy is pretty bad, and more than a few of their players don’t have anywhere near the skill both Ebay players and AR players have…plus AR doesn’t have the numbers BP and EB have (this would change the server power significantly).

I’ll outright say it…BP is the weakest link in the skill and strategy department, and are seemingly only making ground due to numbers. Imagine what would happen if AR got a lot more numbers…they’d probably wipe the floor with BP easily and we’d have a REAL fight on our hands since the odds here would change significantly.

I must give credit to the opposition. You guys proved that you don’t belong in this tier.
You guys have a combination of skill and numbers in which AR or BP can’t match and it’s quite obvious.

The only guild that BP has that consistently goes out in WvW daily is WFD. This is a guild that was 90% PvE just over a month ago. They field 20-25 and they’re all skilled and talented led by Varlen/Deltona. You guys can say that they’re bad or w’ever but we don’t have guilds who can field 30+ daily.

Being a pug server, we really can’t keep up with your coordination. Faux mentioned a list of basic things that you guys do. When you’re leading a pug group, it’s hard to do half those things. But when it’s a guild group/coordinated group, it’s completely different.

I wish myself I was apart of a big WvW guild similar to your big 3 and do things I haven’t done before but unfortunately I can’t unless I transfer. So myself and the rest of BP try our best with what we got.

Edit: I may be in BURN but when’s the last time you saw a big BURN zerg outside of reset? I’m not saying BURN is bad but BURN is not a WvW guild, it’s an everything guild and unfortunately a big part of that ‘everything’ is PvE.

To be honest, it’s a very small minority that do that on the forums, Darek. Because if we were to base all servers on their forum warriors, then BP could be declared worse due to Kalkz and Evilzara, and AR could have been declared worse for quite a while due to CHAR. Every server has its forum warriors, you just learn to ignore them and play the game.

I have been away for a few days now… I am confused about what is going on by reading this forum. From what I am reading, BP and AR are teaming up to fight EB. By reading the comments, one would think that either BP or AR is winning, but the score is telling me otherwise. In fact, I only see the score margin between BP and AR opening up more and more while the margin between BP and EB remains basically the same? so who is helping who in this?

I have to say I am most disappointed to see AR fall so far this week. They were doing so well the previous weeks and are now getting stomped by BP. Sad times indeed.

How is that even a reply? I mean WvW is about capturing towers to get the highest points. Of course they are. PvD is the game. So because EB is PvD you get to use AR as whipping boys for your benefit? I don’t understand your answer, but apparently AR is satisfied with it.

As I said, I used to think much higher of AR until they began to kitten themselves to BP and take the huge sacrifice they are making in Points and Ranking that they are so that BP can come out 2nd place.

I think you are confusing forgot and don’t have the people. ARBL was running outmanned until AR forces moved off EBay BL. You don’t seem to understand, so I will explain. We can queue up one map on reset night, it was EBay BL last night. On rare occasions AR can queue up a BL and Eternal on a reset night. Of the three servers in this matchup AR has the overall lowest WvW population and coverage. That’s just how it is on AR. The tier below AR had an edge in population and coverage and BP had the edge on AR. I’m curious as to how many maps EBay had a queue on last night(the standard answer is “we only had a queue on our BL, we swears it.”)

On reset night. I would like to see AR or BP come close to that, on any night.

If you ask me, this is kinda close.

Yep because everything changes so drastically in a week. Every fellow commander I asked for assistance from when trebing eBay towers or keeps who previously claimed there was ‘no point hitting eBay’ has suddenly seen the light! Every commander who told me to give up attacking eBay because we would just get wiped and lose all our pugs has grown a pair?

When I can take a 5 man into eBay BL, build a ballista and kill all the NW towers siege, build 2 superior rams (so resupply three times) and take the fully fortified fully supplied tower at the end of it all, all that says is you guys obviously don’t get pressured enough to actively stay on your map.

Go flipp an ebay keep and see what your borderland looks like…. Probably what its been looking like most of the week…2 ebay keep on your home land.. with alot more pressure.

This is the most pathetic thing I’ve ever read. When I WvW, I don’t hide in a corner and not attack the tough guy, I’ll attack whoever I want. Just because Ehmry has more people it doesn’t mean I should be afraid of them.

WvW is about taking risks and accomplishing things you never thought you could.

OK, I’m bored/curious so I want to ask a question to bp/eb players.
I recently changed to a Flamethrower build on my Engi; and it seems to be effective to me (seems to tag a lot of people for drops at least…).
Opinions from the other side?
Char Engi with a pink hat and a Flamethrower from AR; [ALS] tag.
Rest of set generally dyed based on whatever color we are this week
(haven’t tried to run into an enemy portal since I started doing that….)
