Its been a while since I ran path 1 did they add more way points?

Knight Armor with Zerker Trinkets is what I run when I’m having some trouble but most of the time I can manage with Full Zerker. I think you need to know your class and its limitations to be able to run full zerker gear. Or else you’ll be throwin up High Fives from the ground.

The only people that don’t want them easily obtained are people that have them already. The “I got it that way so you have to mentality” is sort of childish. Let me make myself clear I don’t want them to easy but getting the one you want is slim. I have a life and a job. I don’t have time to run 48, 38, 28 every day. So In my opinion it does need a change even though people seem to get all out of line when you say anything about it.

Why does it feel like this issue will never be resolved. It depresses me every time I see this thread. Somethings gotta give.

I run 3 different versions of the AH build and all of them have their own different play style. When it comes to any build for any class its about getting to know what the strengths and weaknesses are. The only way to do that is to practice with it. Not many builds are completely worthless you just got to know your limitations. Trial by fire. You have to also take in to account people in general are particular about how they want a character to feel while playing with them. So if someone does not like something you still may.

And that’s just what I can think of off the top of my head typing on my phone.

Which circles back to the point that I and others make every time a topic like this comes up. Developers will never be able to generate content fast enough to please dedicated (hard core isn’t really the word I want here) players who don’t have fun designing their own goals.

I don’t pvp mainly because I dislike pvp in anything but shooters. I’ve finished up the shore and completed everything thus far in flame and frost. Neither of which took that much time to do. On the second to last tier in achievements for costume brawl. Super adventure box was fun for a play through but got old quick. My point is that everything they have released takes little to no time to complete. Content is content yes but I would like something that keeps me playing day after day not for just a few hours.

I am happy with my purchase I got only one and its for my main. I don’t think this game will ever will be alt friendly so I will continue to get the top tier stuff for my main and play my alts for fun.

I’ll enjoy the molten hot lava spewing into my face every swing!

After I posted yesterday I took some time to think what would keep me playing if new gear was not introduced.

• New Zones
• New Story
• New Skins
• New Profession
• New Race
• New Utility/Elite/Race Skills
• New Weapons w/new skills to go with it
• New Dungeon(s)

What I wish they would add:

• Achievement vendor that has new skins for weapons and armor. What I envision is you would have to have so many achievement points to buy and item with gold. Example you need over 4000 total achievement points and 5 gold to buy a weapon. So basically things would unlock to you as you progressed farther. This would drive people to go out and find things to do that they normally would not.

• They said they would eventually add ascended weapons into the game so based off of that statement. Make it so each dungeon has a part of each weapon. So people will have to run each dungeon and use the mystic forge to put their weapon together. This would make all dungeons more active other than CoF. Example of how the use of the forge would come into play. One Part of a Great sword from AC and One Part of a Great sword from CoF, 1 glob of ecto, 1 mystic coin would make Part 1 of an Ascended great sword. Once you had all four parts you throw it into the forge to make a Complete ascended great sword.

I like gear progression. And I only get to play a few hours a day and I’m fully geared 5 more days till I’ll have full ascended trinkets. I feel once I have that there will be not much else for me to do. I have the dungeon master title and Fractal Capacitor (Infused). Currently have 4 full sets of exotic armor in my pack. I only like PvE. So I fear here really soon I will be looking for something else to play until patch days come.

There needs to be something to keep people interested regardless to what content they like.. Gear always is a nice thing to go for.

When you pay 10 bucks for this pick you are not buying it to make money. You are buying it for the convenience and animations of it. When I first caught wind of this my first thoughts were what special effect does it have not Oh boy this is going to be a money maker.

The reason it is overpriced is so people wouldn’t complain to much about it being to op. They didn’t intend everyone to get it so they had to make a price that would make people think on if they truly wanted it or not but not be to unreasonable so people could afford it.

I liked Global Agendas Raids – Basically you protected a point of interest if it took to much damage you failed. It required 10 people. Raid would happen every 60 minutes. Love to see something like this with a chest at the end.

Gear based titles would be a good add:
*Having all of one type of gear Armor,Wep, Trinkets (exotic only) Different Types = Different Title

*Having 6 Ascended Items on at one time

*Getting Boon duration over 100%

*Having all Dyes on one character

*Achieving a specified level of Armor, Attack, Precision, Crit Damage or Vitality

*Total pve kills

*Combination Titles : Where you get a title for getting multiple other titles

*5 level 80 characters

I could go on an on but yeah you get the point.

Fractal skins do not show skill. Tired of everyone trying to put those two together. What they do show is luck and how much of a glutton for punishment you have.

Two part idea not all entirely mine but I wanted to tie them together.

Just as the fused tickets drop for lions chest why not have a Fractal Ticket drop from any even number fractal chest. With the vendors inside selling one skin per ticket.

I propose fractal skins start dropping at fractal level 2. Before you get all up in arms about this hear me out. At level 2 you have a .5% chance of it dropping and every even fractal you move up your percentage goes up .5%.

This to me would make fractals more exciting while pushing people to move up so they have better chances of getting a fractal ticket.

I went full zerk trinkets and knights armor works out well.

while this idea is better than what the system currently is now I still am a firm believer that 4 ascend rings into the forge should give you a random fractal weapon skin. Then pristine relics could actually be used for something again.

Dunno where I read it but is this true?

1 character only has a chance of getting it 1 time from each chest per day?

So if you had 5 characters and you did 1 full run with each 15 chances for the drop.

Not always true Last night I got The exotic skull “Adam” from a chest and it was not account bound. It may just be certain types like the Armageddon and Ceremonial things.

I honestly believe after your 20+ run of the same content you may change your tune. I may be wrong but I too used to like to clear now I can’t stand it because of the lack of reward for performance.

If you look at it in a different light lets say in one hour you can make 8 to 10 gold or you can make 1 to 2 gold what would you prefer?

You still get the same amount of fighting for that hour but its more rewarding that is why in fact people skip trash mobs.

only way to get 60 tokens twice on the same path of a dungeon is to have different characters do the path.

Make your own LFG post. There are a TON of people looking at the same page thinking just like you. Just because warriors and mesmers are taking the initiative of posting on the site and you are not does not mean that’s all that people run now.

Take the time and post I’m sure you will fill up fast.

If you are playing in a group of 5 does everyone get different loot or do you compete for drops?

Bad addition to a great game. Need more fixes for the content we already have. It does not seem to fit any of the lore with the game other than the asura are smart and can build 8bit games? I would much rather have things working right that will be around all year long. Mini games just doesn’t do it for me.

I am glad people enjoy it I just can’t seem to get into it.

If you’re a Norn you know how bad some jumping puzzles can be due to your size. I would like to know what Tonic do you use to make yourself smaller and still be able to jump?

Ghostly Tonic brings you down to human size is there another one that can bring you down to Asura size and still allow you to jump?

totals out to be 90% boon duration with food. If you went all out.

I am in the minority I think that this content could have waited while other things devs should have devoted their time into such as fixing what content they currently have. I also am not a fan of content you can only play for a month. It takes away from the rest of the game because if you don’t play the content now you will miss out.

How many of you have so many rings stored in your bank that you will more than likely never use?

I propose a Mystic forge recipe that if you put 4 ascend rings into the forge you get a RANDOM fractal skin!

This means you could use your pristine relics to buy rings as well and put them into the forge for a chance at the skin you want.

This would solve the problem of everyone having tons of rings and relics just sitting in their banks. It still would be a RNG skin but at least we would have something to shoot for.

1 hr seems about right.

that way people can work on their daily around there then when it triggers they can quickly pop to it without wasting a day…

I still find it funny how many people care about this and are upset with my posts. There are way more pressing issues with this game other than making a title toggle. There are things I dislike about the GUI but there is no reason to change them because its just my preference. Its obvious titles mean something to anet. A title is no different than a skin you want or a hue you wish to have its just another layer to the cake. I may be wrong but people may not like this because they have what they consider a list of weak ones to choose from.

I laughed when I saw the words “screen clutter”. This is hardly a big deal and I am glad they added it. I like them because it lets you get to know a little about someone just in passing. Oh they have this title they must like to WvW, They played GW1, They must like pve content.

For people that really find this “screen clutter” to be a problem press and hold Ctrl + Shift then tap “H” You will never have that bothersome screen clutter again.

I think he was implying you were being a bit daft for not being able to understand basic concepts like necessary information vs unnecessary information, actually.

Anyway, other games have had titles and nobody noticed…I think it’s the fact they are both new, and a different color(Why?) that makes them so jarring here….not to mention the fact the mostly novelty info was already provided when you target a person in the current target element….

Was not being daft at all about the subject matter I was being as silly as everyone complaining about something so small. Special questions get special answers and I did answer the question it just may not be how people would want it to be. I really hope they keep it just like it currently is now. Why have titles if you can’t show them off.

Clicking on people is ridiculous just to see that info, I’m glad its out in the open now. I don’t know about everyone else but if someone is proud of something that they done in the game I’m happy for them and I also very happy then can show it off now.

My group has continued to get fair drops lately. Seems like every day at least one of use gets an exotic. Yesterday I personally got enough rares to get 14 ectos from salvaging. Not sure if the update’s have anything to do with this or not.

This horse is dead and despite what we all are screaming for all of it is falling on deaf ears. Fractal skins being a random drop is a joke. Most people don’t have time to run fractals like a job. Put it on a vendor and make them pricey. At least then people would know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Small, medium, and Large guilds should all have a way to get the same amount of commendations.

Have 3 Tiers of rewards with a max cap of One Commendation.

Tier one – 1/3 of a commendation (can do this 3 times a week)
Tier two – 2/4 of a commendation (can do this 2 times a week)
Tier three – 1 commendation (can do this 1 time a week)

Basically have smaller guilds do their missions more times to get the same rewards. This way it would make it pointless for larger guilds to do the smaller missions when they can get more efficient results from the higher tiers.

Then have some new mystic forge recipes to make the full commendation and you would be set.

two days ago our party got 2 globs 2 exotics and 10 rares
yesterday party got 1 exotic 2 shards and 8 rares

Hopefully i remember to post here what I get later on today. We should only get another day or two of good drops till the drop off.

It was more fun to me back when you could have top gear without having to wait a month or so for one trinket.

Not really worth the price. I hope if they are intended to be pricey they should add them on the fractal vendor for 20 pristine relics.

I wouldn’t want to pay a monthly fee. I would pay a fee for updates that were worth while. This Flame and Frost garbage “so far” would not be worth paying for. Hammering a few signs and finding a few items to me is not new content. I play for pve content. So anything that has to do with guilds, pvp, or wvw is not added content for me.

I would rather them focus on one thing at a time rather than be abysmal in all areas at once. This month we will work on wvw next will be pve then the next be pvp.. I would even be up for paying for just pve content. I know it will never happen but just sayin’.

I am a full zerker guardian and have no problems in high level fractals. Just missing one ear ring now…. I only advice this if you are good at timing your evades and are running AHEM.

When you get to the 40+ range of fractals everything pretty much kills you fast regardless to armor/toughness so I just try to kill it faster than it can kill me.

side note: If you are looking for a bit more survivability in general get Knights Armor with your Zerker Trinkets.

Other than that if you didn’t keep track of it on paper you may have to just guess at it. When I went for DM I just did them in order and kept it simple.

I pray something is done about this in either this months or next months update.

Idea: Make a new golden relic that can drop in place of the pristine relic. Add skins that require 1 gold relic to purchase from the vendor. So this way people could get what they want but still would require the RNG Gold of luck to be in their favor?

2 months ago to do the skipping stones jumping puzzle. Not much else other than that interests me there.

What I was saying is, once you’ve got the skins you need, you’re certainly not going to return to fractals for the gold rewards. Maybe it’s just me (and everyone i know) but fractals rewards are crap compared to like.. any other dungeon.

I have my fingers crossed they the loot tables are a constant WIP and will be made better later on. I actually want a few skins so I think I’m doomed for eternity. I still do other things but FOTM is at least one run a day. I also am looking forward to the day they double the number of maps there.

I wrote that wrong. Its the best place for me to go seeing how I’m trying for a skin. But as for world bosses I like to play on my time not theirs. But as for CoF runs I understand.

Once you introduce a way to get fractals skins without RNG, it’ll be nice to have it and then there’s no reason to do fractals at all. Everyone will have the skin they want, fractals 30+ will be a ghosttown and you run out of goals fairly quickly in this game.

If getting a fractal skin is end game then anet has done a really bad job. I am sure they are going to add more maps to the Fractals along with more items. Who knows what they will do next to fractals to keep it going but given its design it can be easily expanded upon. I know myself that I am not running fractals for just the skin I am also going for ectos. To me it is the best place for me to gather them. As for 30+ fractals maybe every 10 levels they add some guarantees like X amount of ectos. That would keep people coming back. Not to forget the players that want every fractal skin for their character they will be back. I think it would actually increase gameplay. Just my thought though.
