Had a friend last night try two different invasions and mid way through his client crashed both times and when logging in was pushed to the overflow. To me I think that is a little unfair.

Do you only get the items after you finished the 5 invasions for Vorpp?

Looking forward to what is going to happen next I have over 350 jugs to use.

I had 40 friends playing the game at launch now its just me and one other who still play the game. When I ask them why they quit 95% say because there was no reward for performance. They also were not happy with time gated stuff like dungeons as well.

Before I gave up on my ranger I named my pet Moa wait for it….. Rocky Balmoa

I am not a giant fan of fractals myself but it should be a hard item to get. Glad your not going for Fractal Capacitor (Infused) then you would be upset about the ectos.

Sitting on over 550 of them… cant wait to spend them on something worth getting.

I just wish the living story made sense and had a story. Events are great but unless there is some decent story telling on why they are there seems pointless. To me it feels like biweekly themed random content updates. Having it be called “living story” is really deceptive seeing how this story is barely living.

Love the game just wish there was more back story behind it all. I’m not talking flat text reading from a blog or talking to a npc and reading text I like cut scenes and the character voices that go along with it. It always nice to see the inflections in the voice when they are talking.

I have not beat landri yet came close a few times but still slightly out of reach. I don’t really have a problem with the fight as much as I do with seeing where the AOE is about to hit. I know some people have trouble viewing the circles and such but why not let us decide how its displayed? I would love to see negative AOE as a solid red circle that way i could quickly tell what side of that one shot AOE that falls from the sky I’m on. This would be a great option to add.

The gathering tools and this salvage kit were never made so you could break even I love how people say this over and over. Its not about how many times till you get your moneys worth. It is and always will be about convenience. You have to decide if it is worth it to you. If not, well then no reason to complain about it. That’s just my take on it.

I am tired of minis. No point to them right now so no need to keep giving them to us with every content update. Between having to keep them in a invisible bag and having to manually launch them just for them to show is just insult to injury. I could not care less about minis just flat out tired of it really. I would rather have something new and exciting that I could actually use.

I have to agree with the camera angle issues as a Norn fighting Salazan was a pain because most times you were backed against that wall and couldn’t see where to stand. I did have a great view of the back of my head though!

I just wish there was some things worth while to purchase. At first it seemed like it would take a while to get the things I wanted but now I have my main geared and sitting on 180 of them.

bhagwad would you mind sharing your build (traits,utilities,weps) ?

I have 1 main and 3 alts the secret to saving them is just only get the gear for your main and leave the alts with exotics. The only reason my alts have ascended rings is because I got them as random drops in fractals.

I’m afraid to use my laurels because I know the new ascended stuff is right around the corner and we know how alt unfriendly the game is. Is anyone else saving them up as well?

They remind me to much of the Zenith Weapons just in their solid state. Color and glow both match.

The question I have now lets say I have all the achievements for all this seasonal content. When it comes back around the second time will there be enough new stuff to keep me entertained?

nope, I never care about what other people have unless they are running “whites” in a dungeon and I am teamed with them.

I would be willing to bet people would pay for any ticket to trade in at a vendor for a item of their choice. You don’t have to put all the skins in the store keep it like it is and sell the “Golden Ticket” for a price. I would have purchased several of these from past events. Where in reality I have not purchased one key for an RNG box. I could pretty much guarentee their sales would sky rocket if they did it that way.

All this elitism for rare skins is ridiculous. All these skins show is that you got lucky nothing else. So why not give people what they want and make money in the process? You cant really compare the Wintersday weapons because they were pretty cheesy.

I like the idea but I think you could actually take it a step further and make it like a crafting skill where you would have to level to go fishing in higher waters. Make it sorta like a rng for materials. So people wouldn’t farm one spot make it so people could not throw a line in the same general area twice. Make them move around. How great would it be to throw out a line and pull in a charged loadestone.

I play for the fun of it. The game is not perfect actually nowhere near BUT when you compare the content you get for what you paid for it really is second to none. Every time I think that I should change to a different game I think to myself “60 bucks for 8 to 10 hours worth the content” then stop myself right there.

My personal wish is that they would focus on more endgame content rather than biweekly events. Not much to do once you have finished your story, 100% world completion, ran over 500 fractals, and have dungeon master.

I sorta agree with this. I’m tired of go touch base with this many items or go here just to go there type of deal. Fetch quests are not on my top 10 things I like to do. I would rather have more instanced stuff where you could go in with a team or alone. Some more in depth story telling would be nice to see. Reading text to me isn’t as much fun as watching the cut scenes. I can not remember the last competitive mini game I played. Maybe I have never even tried one to date I really can not remember but I know I dislike that content because there is no real substance to it. Were the op dislikes festivals i just dislike the way the content is being presented to us in general. I would like to see some real progression that is story driven and not achievement driven.

Finally. I think this has been posted in the suggestions more than a few times. Can’t wait for the space.

I’ve asked this and it falls on deaf ears. Everything has to be kept secret so people are surprised when things that they know will happen, happen. Ridiculous if you ask me. Why not have every ascended piece even the new stuff be made to purchase with laurels?

Abaddon was done in gw1. Either way both of these will more than likely be made in the future its just which one do you want first.

I’m voting for the person that will effect my style of play more and that is mainly between reduced cost of keys or waypoints. Since I do not buy keys take a guess who has my vote.

I don’t play them unless I’m forced to do so. Forced being to get the reward for the current event. I skip anything that I know people can exploit and waste my time trying. So I will just buy what I want from the TP.

I would like to see it happen. I agree the story should reset and as for the armor well it seems like to much work for them to make a convenience to us. So I would say all cultural stuff would be at a loss. Because if you look at it from a new characters point of view it would be at a loss if you decided to make a new character with the race of choice.

I was thinking if they didn’t straight up add them to the vendor maybe they could put the materials on the laurel vendor so we can obtain them a tad bit easier. I wish there was some official word…

Just a quick question on if we will be able to buy the new ascended armor and weapons with laurels as well?

I know crafting them has been mentioned but I’m sitting on over 150 laurels and wanting to know if hanging onto them for later is a good idea or not.

It takes me forever to hit the final button on create a character. So I am generally happy and never wanted to change any of my toons.

Norn’s are by far my favorite race due to their nature and culture. Guardian is my main class because of what he can bring anything you need to any fight support, dps, tank truly a jack of all trades. Spent over a thousand hours on him and still not tired of him yet. A good guardian should be able to hold the weight of any team on his back given the right build / play style.

I do have 3 other level 80’s a thief, warrior, and mesmer. They all have their perks but they don’t sway me to make them my main. This is coming from a person who mainly plays pve so take it as you may.

While I don’t find obtaining gold that bad. I understand how people could be a little upset because the rewards for some content are lacking in the game. The “Play your way” philosophy doesn’t really account for how much gold you would like to have. Pretty soon CoF will get its nerf and people will be out looking for the next best thing which probably means orr overflows.

I suspect it’s more to do with keeping support tokens as an effective gold sink. If one candidate was far ahead of another the losing candidates supporters would probably stop buying tokens.

Its a good point but a point based around purchasing things from the store. Now as others have pointed out with people getting these scraps from chests it leans even more in favor of Evon seeing how people will be able to buy more keys and get more scraps if they were a lower cost.

My theory either way Evon will win due to what he wants. Reduced key pricing is money in anet’s pocket. It is sorta strange that they don’t tell us whats going on with the votes. Seems a little fishy and charr I imagine like fish as much as other felines.

Can Anet check this out and revert the change? Make the sound cancel if you click Escape key, but not pressing the same key twice as it ruins a lot of good songs!

I was going to post an idea very similar to this.

I was going to say profile slot per 800 gems per character and it would have the ability to save everything from Armor, Weapons, Traits, Utilities skills.

The only thing I could see being a problem is would you have to keep all the armor and weapons with you to be able to make that switch or would you equip them prior and it would be removed from your pack. So basically would it be in or not in your pack.

It would be nice to have build profiles and when you accepted the switch to a new build it just charged you the silver. No need to use trainers other than buying your manuals. I would love to have this ability in dungeons and it would even act as a gold sink because I am pretty sure people would swap builds more often.

When ever there are people like this that want you to stop doing what you are doing i just act like I can not read what they are typing because I’m from a different country. When you don’t respond it generally gets at them more than when you do.

I hope they add ascended weapons and armor to the vendors but it more than likely will not happen. : (

The best thing to do and I’ve done this from the very start. If you notice your in a guild party or any suspicious party for that matter take a screen shot with all of their names showing. This way you wont have to worry about it latter and you can give their names to anet if needed.

What I like to do is go to an area in the dungeon that looks nice and be like “hold up really quick I’m going to take a screen shot” then they know you have their names and will think twice before the kick.

I had the same thing happen to me last night. It happened to me while trying to get my 50 plays in. All I can say it was totally random and had no real rhyme or reason to it. Some times we could play 5 games without the freeze other times the first time we tried it, it would lock up. Some times it was just me some times it was just my friend and some times we both locked up at the same time. We thought it might be the zone we were in but that didn’t seem to be the case. I am not exactly sure how many times it did it to us but roughly 40%-45% of the time one of us were having to ALT tab out and kill the Guild Wars 2 process because it was not responding.

We were joking about paying the 100 gold for the bottomless table and how it was basically a Russian roulette freeze game. Every time we both made it through without freezing all you could hear is a sigh of relief because it was a major pain in the rear.
