Good to here you got it fixed, yes Dorksquad would have told you you needed a new motherboard, that’s there responce for every computer issue!

Looking through the log you posted I can’t see anywhere where it shows you are being routed to Frankfurt. I would venture to guess that Level3 is the issue, that backbone provider in known to be very laggy.

It isn’t so much that chckdsk will damage an SSD it’s defrag that will kill an SSD, but it’s always best to use the SSD manufacturers disk utilities instead of the Windows ones.

When was the last time you have opened up the case, dust buildup is a common problem with airflow even in the cleanest of houses there are issues. Computers are dust magnets, get a can of air take your computer outside, do not do this in the same room the computer is in and blow the dust out, also if this has been an on going problem the chances are your thermal paste is dried out you will need to replace it.

Don’t take it to Dorksquad those guys are over priced morons, try doing a complete system restore from a preveuse restore point. I’m not sure how to do this on Windows 10 but Google it or maybe someone will post how to do this

Sounds like Bitdefender is junk get rid of it and get a more gamer freandy AV like Avast or just use the built in Windows one that’s all I use and have no issues. Also anet support will not help you with other apps causing issues with the game about the only the they will tell you is to uninstall it.

Did you check for the latest drivers including the commonly forgotten chipset drivers, also check for bois updates that have solved some Windows 10 issues. This issue could also be caused by an under rated power supply, what it the watt rating of your PSU make sure it is at least 600watts or more and it wasn’t one of those $19 cheapo Chinese specials. Overheating can cause this to, double check that all fans are working properly. Make sure you have good airflow and no dead air spaces around the CPU or GPU or cable bunched up around the CPU fan. Also try to reseat the video card and memery.

We had so much fun back in the day our guild sponsored a bunny run in in Guildwars1 every Easter or a spring festivel we would pass out free bunny tonics in one of the main towns and chance people that wasn’t a bunny, it was good fun I would like to be able to do this again in Guidwars 2 some how I know it is to close to Easter to make it happen but maybe next year.

You may want to ask in the support forums but without more info no on can help. First try running a ping path app with one of the ingame ip addresses you can get the ip by typing in the game chat window /ip the repost your question in the support forum along with the ping path log.

Get yourself a portable hard drive if your system has USB3 get one that is USB3 I don’t trust large files like that on fash drives I had a flash drive go bad trying to load a 20G file on a 32G flash drive. plus the transfer rate is a lot faster with a portable
hard drive then must fash drives.

Would it be possable to add the guildhall decorating system to the home instance, maybe this could be an upgrade sold in the gem store. Also open up more of the building so your charature could enter and decorate inside. The home instance is never really used much any more so I think it would be fun and give people something fun and creative to do with the home instance. This could be basicly player housing.

Check your task manager look for multiple sessions of your web browser running it may be malware or a virus.

Exception c0000005 errors are mainly connected to video driver issues you could try uninstalling and reinstalling your video card drivers upgrading or posably downgrading the driver, good luck

Have you tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them, maybe as a last resort completely reformat and reinstall Windows. I do this once a year wether I need to or not, it’s like getting a brand new system a clean install works wonders!

Every link posted makes reference to video card drivers have you checked for updated driver lately or did you update your drive lately you may have to down grade to fix the issue.

This sounds like something you may want to think really hard on. People could think you are trying to scam them. Doing any in game event on your own where you are asking for gold is a bad idea if you are in a guild then you might contact your guild leader and see if this is an event the guild could sponsor. As a guild we did a lot of giveaway events in GuildWars1 and never asked for anything in return. Requiring gold to enter an event is just asking for trouble, Good luck!

Check for a Bios update I had to do this to a friends PC we updated the ram in the board only had 2 ram slots with 2 2gig ram sticks We upped it to 8gigs with 2 4 gig sticks but the system became unstable and would blue screen. I know the ram was good because it came out of a working system. Checked the motherboard web site sure enough there was a Bios update to correct stability issues with some types of ram, solved the problem.

Like I said in my above post it’s not going to happen so this topic need to die. If you enjoy the game then play if you don’t then move on the game is what it is. I play on my laptop from time to time and barely get 30 fps I don’t care I’m having fun. If you are getting low fps on a high end system then the issue is not the game but the way you have your system set up you probably have so much craptastic apps and programs running in the background it’s bogging down your system to where the game can’t run get the crap out don’t run a bunch of junk in the background while you are playing the game.

Looks like your issue is when you hit gtt.net witch is most likely a fiber optic backbone that could have a node issue that is out of Anets control this may clear itself eventually but the most you can hope for is to send the ping path log to your ISP the may be able to forward it to gtt.net. The high ping and error coming off Anets Ip is the security system rejecting the ping request.

I seriously don’t think we will see an upgrade to DX 11 or 12 any time soon. I’m getting on average 70 to 90 fps on my 3 year old i5 system with the 64bit client on Windows10 with most in game setting on high to medium. People are so obsessed with fps if you are getting 30+ the game is playable. The one question you need to ask yourself is “Are you having fun” and if the answer is yes then get over the fps issue and have fun! If the answer is No then move on to a different game. The game is what it is and no DX 12, maybe in GuildWars3

I do trade among freinds with the ingame Mail but I prefer the TP over direct trade. I don’t have to type in chat what I need I go to the TP and get it or sell what I have I don’t need, the fees a trivial and don’t bother me at all. Direct ingame trade will never happen in this game.

A realy fun event we use to play in the guild halls in GW1 was hid and seek, but there was on big problem, you had to be on you honor that you have the in game GUI turn off so you could not see people’s names above their head. If there were some way as a guild event to have the GUI or the names to turn off in this event that would be really fun.

You said you updated the GPU drivers but what about the motherboard chip set drivers?

The game doesn’t run well running 2 video cards disable SLI and you should see a big improvement in fps.

I find this hard to believe, this is built into every router unless you are the only one computer connected directly to your modem if that’s the case the you need to get a router setup between your modem and computer and unable port forwarding even my comcast modem/router has this feature. Even if you are connected directly to your modem then there shouldn’t be any ports blocked I don’t see an ISP doing this bicuase that would totally cripple you Internet and if this is happening I would be changing ISPs today. The only time that this is ever an issue is maybe if you are at a college or university dorm if this is the case then you need to contact that dorm admen and get the needed Ports forwarded.

LavasoftTcpService.dll is a virus and can be very difficult to remove the best suggestion is to reformat and reinstall Windows. Good luck

Do you have an app called Hide My IP, uninstall it and this will solve you problem. Guildwars needs your correct ip for security and account verification. This causes problem in a lot of online gaming. Good luck

If your not willing to update your drivers then live with it, driver, update are released to game devs for testing and performance improvmrnts Anet sometime will release patches to take advantage of these improvements.

Did you check the folder you put the dat file in, there is one miner flaw with transferring the dat file. If there is a patch to the game that updates the gw2.exe before you get it into your new computer then If you have an old gw2.dat file the and try to use it with the new gw2.exe file that new exe will start downloading the new dat file. Also it is possable that you have done something to the file structure in the process of turning it into a zip file that the gw2.exe doesn’t like so it thinks it a bad file and start downloading it again. The question I have why zip it in the first place, external drives to copy that large of a file are dirt cheap you can get a 32G flash drive for less than $10?

It would be cool if they added an NPC or Jukebox type device to select the guildhall music from any in game scores this woul effect everyone that entered the guildhall the selected music is what everyone hears.

I think HoT if fun it’s a bit harder then the core game but all in all its all good. Over all GuildWar2 has to be the best game out there right now I have tried other games but nothing does it for me. The game is still getting high ratings. It’s still number 1 on MMORPG and is still in every top 10 list out there for PC games and that’s not bad for a going on 4 year old game.

They mainly play on the US servers I have seen them from time to time. As for them being some type of monitoring bot that’s just dumb. Thisis the first I have ever herd of this myth and yes there is a real person playing if you see a charature with the Anet tag above their head.

It may be your video card do you know if it is factory over clocked if it is GuildWars 2 does not do well with over clocked video cards.

Do you have any trusted family are friends in the US get one of them to buy it for you on the official site and email you the key then apply that key to you account. Don’t use g2a.com they are not an official GW2 reseller and you will lose you account because you will have used a invalid key.

Did you read the original post this was not a fraudulent key the upgrade was paid for with his moms credit card, when his mom got the statement she didn’t recognize the perchase, though is was a fraudulent charge did a charge back. This happen quite often, unfortunately Anets policy on this is quite harsh, do a charge back and totally lose you account, but Anet should have some way to handle this differently give the account holder some way to make restution to get their account back the only issue I can see is the cost my be high, to high that most will not pay it so they don’t offer it.

It takes up to 72 hours for your gems to be sent to you. This is a fraud protection method because gold seller can buy accounts with bogus credit cards, trade those gems for gold sell that gold in minutes and it could take up to 72 hour to detect if some credit card a legit. This is stated in you perchase agreement just wait you will get you gems.

If this was a Windows 10 problem then why isn’t everyone having it, I’m not and 3 of my friend that play recently upgraded to Windows 10 with my guidance have no issues.

You can submit a support ticket or you could give us more information like your system spec and any error messages but this sounds to me that your hard drive may be full, very low on space or going bad.

These are network error codes usually do to connection issues. I know you said you updated all your drivers but did you check for latest Ethernet drivers?

What antivirus are you using some AVs detect GuildWars as a virus or malicious software because of the way it downloads and connect to the Internet it resembles a bit torrent so to fix it try disabling your AV till you get it all installed and everything is going good. If by any chance you are using Norton’s dump it get something else like Avast or Windows Security Essentials.

Sound like a corrupt Local.dat file, you need to delete, it then when you restar the game it will creat a new one this file is located in C:\useres\username\%appdata% or somthing similar just delete the local.dat file if you can’t find it do a file search.

No problems here with high ping in Windows 10 I’m thinking you didn’t get all the latest drivers for windows10 like chipset drivers and network drivers.

“DRIVERS” you need all the latest drivers for Windows 10 including the commonly forgotten motherboard chipset drivers, if these drivers are not up to date then this will effect how your video card reacts to the whole system even if you have the latest video drivers. Also there are bios update related to Windows 10 issues, good luck!

The reason it takes so long to get the gems is to prevent fraud, gold seller can buy accounts on a bogus cards trade the gems for gold and sell that gold in minutes and sometime it can take a couple of days to check if a card is legit. Anet is just protecting their interests and the game economy.

Farm the mats guilds needs to build up there hall this stuff has sky rocketed in price and is easy to farm. I can make 2 to 5 gold without even trying that hard and I don’t play much maybe about an hour a day if that also sell everything you fine, mats, an gear.

As long as it is not reporting you in Korea or somewhere in the Ukrane then I wouldn’t worry about it. like if you live in the US and you were being redirected to some ather country through a proxy that would be bad.
