shout warrior (hammer + sw/sh) - my version

in Warrior

Flitzie.6082

Since you mentioned koroshi and by the looks of this build I assume its a WvW build.

1700~ power. 0 Condition damage. You want to kill people here, this is not a petting zoo.
50% crit chance is good and all but it does not help with such low base damage.

I also dont really understand what you want to do with your warrior, solo, group, zerg? A bit of everything? Your armor and vitality numbers are getting close to what they can/should be, thats good but really not at the cost of so much damage output.

Futhermore 50% crit chance on a hammer/sword setup is not needed at all. You need lots of critchance on a low damage, fast hitting weapons like the GS. On a hammer you want to use a sigil of intelligence. (Imo THE hammer sigil) You can use one on the sword aswell but be aware of the 10s ICD on that thing.

I have scraped the idea of a shout healing warrior a long time ago, since stances are just that much better and one slot HAS to be bullscharge for me, I cannot play without it. Still, I want to share with you what I run so you can have a look at how high the stats should be to be taken seriously out there.

The trait merciless hammer is missing aswell. Its probably not a must have but I find it so awesome. I always feel slow and unresponsive without it. And the extra damage is great!

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQJARSjMdU2ZXIOewJigfgC9t3C7gpAQZak7pOCA-T1CEABRcBAWUlCGOEAPp0YLlgScEAaSZmiqr0muAAeAAxs/QAAEgbezs5NDc0je0je0j2Nv5QH6O3ZhAEMGA-w
(Pic related) My current Build. Works best in out small group setup, also great soloing and you wont be entirely lost in a zerg either.
If you really dont want to play with a GS you can easily change it for a sword/shield in my build. Been doing that a long time myself.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQNBMhJakpj2O7CxxD6QDkFUoH8AoAUWD9QyJ4EA-TVCEABZ/AAY4QAYz+DbpEkJlfKq+jEHBAAOBAupPIAACwNbz28mBO6RP6RP6R7m3coDdn7sQAyGDA-w
Probably the more average zerg build. You just need to use the warhorn and quick breathing, its so good. And a few warriors running ‘stomp’ can already make a huge difference. (aka, zergbusting supreme make’em fly.)

The food choise are entirely up to you. If you encouter lots of condition builds I advice going with the ‘minus conditiion-duration’ food. The servers we face against rarely have any condiguys anymore.

Edit: The thing with shouthealing is, you will never be able to reach full effectiveness on a power based shout healer. A condi shout healer can be pretty insane though.

Edit2: If you really do want to play a shouthealer by heart:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJMQNAS8enMdMdoyjyjdecewUwUQciciMQVQhexDgHQVPk+E66UA-TxCEABRcBAWUlCGeCAPp0YLlgMpEpJlRKquSS7P0muHAOIAkBwcMA-e
This could probably work quite well. Great defense, amazing sustain and decent damage. Maybe even swap one shout for endure pain.

So, What Fun Is Warriors?

in Warrior

Posted by: Flitzie.6082

Flitzie.6082

I think this is more of a troll thread but I’ll bite.

My personal reason:
I am the typical Tank-player in other MMOs. I love heavy armor High HP melee classes. Simple as that and reason #1 I love the warrior the most of all classes.
Logging into the game just to see the beautiful number of 30.000HP in this red circle down at the bottom of your screen, what not to love about that?

I could ask the same. Whats the fun playing a mage class? All of those light armor professions. Magic and stuff.. ugh. I could not bother playing on of those. They dont appeal to me, I find the general concept of this type of character boring. Of course they might be well implemented and fun to play with if you are looking at it from a gameplay perspective. It just does not appeal to me.

Though, I agree, in PvE its kind of sad how little viable options the warrior has which leads to a stale gameplay. But lets be honest for a second. Its probably less about the warrior mechanics, but rather the Pve concepts in general. This game is just dead easy in all Pve content. Think about that for a minute.

In Pvp its less about knowing your class, the warrior, but rather knowing other classes and your counters. An experienced player has an easy time to counter a warrior.
As a warrior I dont think about what skills I use next to finish my awesome rotation but rather what skills should I not use at that specific moment because they’ll just get blinded, dodged or simply outplayed. That means, counting dodges, skills, knowing the enemy skills cooldown times etc.
Results: Not as easy as everyone thinks. Atleast not in PvP.

I can sense all the hate thrown against me already
“But but those 13k Evis, perma cc, movement skills… OP nerf!”
And sadly this is not going to change until those guys realize a simple stability boon and a condition based Crownd control effect and the warrior is a sitting duck and a free loot bag. Try it.

Pure "Power"/"Precision" for LB ranger

in Ranger

Highest consistent damage possible:

100% crit chance with borderland bloodlust and fury.
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fNMQFATjEq0waBLWsw1ag9gadAUAnN7OYE+AXbxFLV1D-T1BBABQt/AWK/A4BAknOAGuAAVq+zZKBDAcA87vBgzP/8zP/8+d4hHe4hLDg+CA-w

Highest Burst:

90% crit chance, 3k power, air sigil.
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fNMQJATTjEq0waBLWsw1ag9gadAUAnN7OYE+AXbxFLV1D-TFCBABQt/AEHCgKV/5MlgYp8DgnAQe6CY4CAEA4A43fDAnf+5nf+597wDP8wDXKgIGDA-w

Of course you dont carry a longbow as your first and second setup. You carry a second one in your inventory to swap to once bloodlust stacks are full. (Remember to have the bloodlust sigil on your second weaponset aswell in order to keep those stacks)
Second weapon is a GS for blocks, leaps or burst.

I recommend trying the cripple on crit sigil instead of Air to keep the enemy in range in case they run.

Fights end within 10 seconds at most. Make sure the enemy NEVER sees you comming.
If its not a complete beginner, a prepared enemy leads to your death mostly. If he is not prepared he dies in a second. 7-9k+ AA opener hit, 4k consitent AA crits. 15-20k RF within 1-2 seconds.

Your job is to circle around zergs in a big radius and snipe unaware people. Roaming is a no-go. Melee zerging, too.

Edit: Dont be one of those burster ranger that open up with RF. You loose huge burst potential. Only use RF as your first skill if the enemy has aegis on him.
Otherwise pop your 2 damage signets → 1 AA then RF

So, if I get that right, you want us to come up with ideas to improve the trait system. Ill bite.

Although they dont seem fun to most people I guess, I LOVE % stacking traits and combinations of them. Sadly they don’t always work the way they should imo.
Ie: Gain -?-% of X as Y

Traits that don’t work properly:
-Warrior-

Armored Attack – 3rd Minor trait – Defense
Gain power based on your toughness. 10%
- The added toughness of the Dolyak signet does not provide me with extra power.
It does so in the gw2skills.net editor, but not ingame.
- Strength in Numbers trait of the guardian no effect on power by observation. (will test again to confirm tomorrow)

Great Fortitude – Adept Trait – Attack
A percentage of power is given as a bonus to vitality. 7%
Multiple sources of power have currently no effect on vitality.
- Buff food and sharpening stones.
- WvW Guard stacks.
- Regular Might stacks (Bloodlust stacks work)
- 150 power of ‘Empower Allies’ trait has no effect on vitality.

- The added power of the Dolyak signet if Armored attack is traited and fixed.

Well, except for the gem2win options like the harvesting tools and the stupid gemstore titles that lead to an even more gemstore focused game, why not?

Why is the 1000g title called ‘jaws’. I dont get that one, or is it an offensive typo-pun?

Also:
>Wallets are merged

- DIVORCE! My partner stole my money!

Edit:
Oh and the mystic dye box. That would be a must have item for everyone since it can create a significant gold income. Not pay2win since, well, you can transfer gold to gem but another gem2win nontheless.

I understand the gem store is important for the game to survive but I dont support it being abused like that. Anet should lower the gold to gem ration in the near future anyway. To work against the passive inflation.

Endure Pain - be gone!

in Warrior

Posted by: Flitzie.6082

Flitzie.6082

I am not going to straight assume that this is a bug, but I am more and more leaning towards it because I can’t find any reasonable explanation.

Sometimes my endure pain is doing nothing or only on half its duration.
I understand that there are some spells/skills that go right through endure pain, or like in this case the “Leech” effect from the sigil as you can see below. (which I dont understand btw, bug?)

However I often notice that my endure pain vanishes way to quickly or does not react at all. In the example posted you can see the end of a combat log from a few minutes ago.
My whirlwind attack shows this was a fast going combat with lots of stuff hitting me. 5-6 people on me at that time. It was a desperate try to get out of that, thus I popped endure pain. Only to make it work for a split second and not 4s like it should have been up.

Is there a way to remove endure pain? I assume its not a classical boon thus not affected by boon removal.
Endure pain mostly seems to bug out when my Hp is already below 20%, above that I never saw it fail.

Also, can you please list skills that go through invulnerablitiy. I remeber some thief ability, but I forgot what it was called.

Edit: Before you ask, it was no conditions damage. I know its not displayed but I am pretty sure this was not the case.

Whaaaaaaaaat~ No!
I hate the PvP mode the most because of toned down equipment options.
Choosing an amulet and some runes/sigil… Wonderful options, really.
Besides the whole thing being a cage fight that is my number 1 reason not to play pvp.

Imo, Pvp should use the normal pve gear aswell! I understand that this would be bad for those people who step into pvp at level1 and dont even touch pve. Its a great system for those guys. But come ooon, how can anyone complain about gear or levelspeed in this game, its sooo incredibly fast and everything gets thrown at you for a few copper anyway. (Which is a good thing I might add)

On another note, if I dont even have to farm for my wvw gear then there really is nothing left to do anymore…

Edit: Best option would be to make players able to choose all the gear there is in Pvp for free. All item slots and generally everything that exists in pve/wvw. Not a single amulet shrug

I am not really built for a high crit chance, but someone that is will certainly have an easy time doing the mentioned with great reliability.

Overall, its quite a nice addition. It procs often, makes life easier and is porbably worth its slot over a leeching sigil.

But seriously, do I really need to make a seperate thread to show all those OP-screamers that there is one single boon (that every class has access to) that counters pretty much all dangerous warrior builds and makes them a sitting duck? Think about it for a second.

Warrior used to be to strong in relation to other classes, I agree. Maybe not outright OP, but strong. Now though, no more.
But yeah, they want us to be free bags, I know.

Edit: Btw man, whit the hammer trait, that pretty much every hammer warrior uses, its more of a 90+% uptime. You should edit that thread-title.

>Judges Intervention requires a enemy target
Right. Just saw it myself. On a lot of videos it seemed to go whereever, but those are pretty hectic to watch anyway.

Still, I think its going to be decent on our 3 man roaming group.
And there are always plenty of neutral mobs to use as aid I guess.

Well, I’ve just had my first 20-30 minutes on a guardian slaughtering those pvp-dummies. Pretty fun.

What I wanna test in an open world scenario:

Focus #5 + Scepter #3 -> JI + weapon swap (procs sigil of intelligence) + stability -> Elite tome + tome #5 (still under the effect of a guaranteed crit) 12k crit upwards.
tome #4 while they are CC’ed -> cancel tome to GS + GS#3 and unleash hell with that quickness.

Or just stay on the tome for the full duration, does great damage anyway.
Also get 2 might with crits and be safe with 14k total heals on a 22k HP pool.

I understand that there are probably other ways to do damage just as fast but Its more of a wombo-combo setup that I highly doubt anyone sees comming. For fun.
The whole thing might require some addtional CC from someone else.

Does anyone actually use those tomes? I never see them in action…

Edit:
I have a feeling judgement wont scale as well as I want it to. Tomes are weird, weird but fun.

Is the mobility really that bad? with a GS/Sw+Fo plus the 2 teleport meditations I can imagine the guardian to be pretty mobile.

Judge’s Intervention can be aimed anywhere on the ground right? Just safe your cooldown if you need to get away. And with the sword It should be pretty easy to catch people aswell.

Traveler runes are a must have, I realized that from the first minute I took a closer look at the guardian. And the added bonus attributes actually work quite well with pretty much any build anyway.

I posted the build in your thread a while back but I was ignored.
The starfood sadly was not available this year making it extremely expensive.
Any food is viable though. Power+preci, power+vita, power+toughness or anit condi food if you feel you need it.

Endure pain can easily be exchanged for the stability stance if you want. This build got so many defense you often dont need it while roaming, especially not with the shield.
Bulls charge is a must have, hopefully it will be fixed at some point.

25kHP is the sweetspot. thats 27.5k with guardstacks and 30k with 10% robust WvW buff.

Great fortitude is an extremely powerful trait. Sadly its bugged. Power from food, guardstacks and Might doesnt add up with the vitality. That would easily give me an additional 500HP++. Its still increadibly strong imo.

I’ve got some 120h+ on this build now and its wonderful. If you engange with GS first and swap in combat you get up to 11 might on average. Thats 3400 power! Some thieves have been hit with 8k backbreakers.
Try it out.

The 30% crit chance is absoluletly enough btw, you just gotta play it smart with the crit sigil on swap for the Hammer.

Toughness threshold for WvW

in Warrior

Posted by: Flitzie.6082

Flitzie.6082

Well, while is technically the best to sit at 3k base armor you have to consider at what costs.
I believe 2900~ without signet is more than enough.
Power builds usually are not the problem on a warrior, especially not if you run shield and endure pain. I’d rather push Vita to work against conditions.

I have often read that the most effective ratio for damage mitigation is 1 armor for every 10HP. I have by no means a way to prove that right but it seems to work pretty effectively.
Going for 3k armor with signet still allows me to push other stats significantly.

Currently, fully buffed, I have:
~30kHP (varies due to the robust% buff – 28-30kHP during the course of a WvW-week.)
+3000 Armor.
3000 Power.
33% crit chance.
~200% crit damage.

Going for any more in any stat is going to drastically lower other values.

For a solo or group build I’d say 3k is enough. For serious zerging you should probably look at 3400.

Solution to fix the population imbalance

in WvW

Posted by: Flitzie.6082

Flitzie.6082

Alright. Let’s try something different.

My 3 step programm to fix WvW- tl:dr version:
- Get rid of the ranking system and tiers. Match server by average population.
- Limit WvW to level 80 characters. EotM will still be available for all levels.
- Increase the Rewards of WvW and lower those of EotM (Keep Exp gain rate.)

Longer version with reasoning:

Many of the Ideas in this thread are great but wont make it into the live version for many reasons. Server merging is bad for the communities. This whole alliance system has a lot of flaws aswell that have been mentioned already.
Altering the way points are being earned by the number of players is not the worst idea but can be absued to easily.

Why not grab the whole system by its core and scrap the idea of ranking servers and putting them into tiers.
What really needs to be done is monitoring the average amount of players online per hour. Thus its important to lock the content for level 80’s only because upleveld players are not scaling accordingly and usually being trampled down.
If the number of serious participants in WvW would be monitored and the average be calculated you could match servers according to their population.

I realize that this will inevitably match the same servers against each other again and again, but is that really a problem if its balanced? No.

A quick example. (Average player count/hour in bracets)

Results of First Week:
Server A (~500) vs Server B (~300) vs Server C (~60)
Server D (~290) vs Server E (~450) vs Server F (~70)
Server G (~315) vs Server H (~525) vs Server J (~75)

Matchmaking of Second Week:
Server A (~500) vs Server E (~450) vs Server H (~525)
Server D (~290) vs Server B (~300) vs Server G (~315)
Server C (~60) vs Server F (~70) vs Server J (~75)

This system is solid and works for everyone. Serverpride will still be a thing, people wont suffer from loosing all the time. Servers like Maguuma wont stay on higher tiers for ages that they dont belong to etc.

A system difficult to abuse
Of course a server could refuse to play WvW for the first 5 weeks to get matched with low-pop servers and then stomp them like crazy. But for what? People want to play the game at some point, no?

And the longer this system is present the more balanced it will get.
The only problem I see Is guilds mass transfering server to get a guaranteed win.
In the first few weeks this would be no problem, the system would easily catch up and match them accordingly again after 2-3 weeks. Once this system has been around for a year things get more difficult.

This is why two seperate statistics would need to get monitored.
-The average amount of players online per hour.
-The average amount of players online per week.

In case of a large guild transfering servers the second statistic would immediatly display other results than the weeks prior and be of priority over the first one – thus matching the server accordingly the week after.

I think this would be the way to go.

Minor things thats would need to get changes in general to further help WvW
The normal WvW needs to yield more rewards.
Many people spend so much gold on WvW for siegeweapons, upgrades, expensive bufffood etc but they earn so little that it forces them to play PvE at some point even if they dont want to.
A guild member of mine had this problem today. We are playing on Dzagonur which is having a tight battle where every man counts atm.

He said: “I really want to play some WvW now, but I am absolutetly broke after last week. To a point travelling gets expensive and bufffood non-buyable. Ill run some dungeons now. see ya later.”

This needs to stop. We should be able to have a decent gold income in WvW to keep up with the expenses.

On a related note, the EotM rewards need to be towned down to motivate players more the play actual WvW and stop mindlessly grinding EotM.
I like EotM as an alternative to level up a character and it should certainly stay that way, thus keep the current exp gain rate. But town down the rest of the rewards.

Thanks for reading.

PvP and PvE class.

Really, it depends on what works for you. Some classes I don’t play because their mechanics don’t work my instincts. Figuring out how you like playing and what class works well with your preferences will make you more effective regardless of the current meta.

This, if you have no fun playing your class, you automatically care less and perform worse.
Pick what you like. All classes are viable in PvE anyway, and for PvP I am sure you’ll find a build that suits you and leads you to success.

You see. I always play the Tank class in MMOs. I tried guardian and warrior the day I started. I preferd the warrios sword and board skills over the guardians and loved how he had more HP. I quickly deleted my lvl 12 guardian and my main character was chosen.

Little did I know tank builds would be no good or how GW2 functions in general back then. Now I main a GS/Hammer warrior. I love it!

fractal backpiece farming

Flitzie.6082

If you plan on doing only below lvl 10 fractals I recommend to do them on lvl 6.
lvl 6 fractals reward you with more fractal tokens than below that and its still easy to do.

I’d recommend getting atleast one piece of ascended gear, for example an amulet. Slap on a +5 agony infusion for 76(?)ish fractal tokens and do above level 10 fractals aswell.

Thats going to be a steady income of those tokens, if you do both runs a day and 2 fractal relics aswell. Thats a set of rings after only 10 days.
That how I did it.

Personally I really hate running fractals. The first few times were fun but after you’ve seen them all a few times it gets old fast. I have now ran them 40 times, 2 sets of rings and one backpiece. I am happy if I never have to step into one again, its a pvp game after all

Yes. Pvp in the normal Pve maps all the way.
I’ve been playing LineageII for the longest times myself now. The pvp system of that game is brilliant in so many ways.

The only problem that would need to get addressed first is pk’ing low-level guys.
Thats no fun and ruins the game, much like rifting ruined AION even though the concept of it was awesome.

On a more related note, he is right. The ranger is far from OP. its simply more balanced now.

The rangers best friend is the enemys unawareness, especially in WvW.
Manage to get in a 6-7k opening crit, knockdown and 15k rapid fire and GG.

I was so sure afro would go for the 30k HP and pick great fortitude. I’ve been looking at that direction myself since patch.

I love that he made the step to break away from 6 in dicipline. That might on weapons swap was no must have and probably neither Burst mastery, since now you do not want to spam bursts anymore nor Brawlers recovery for reasons Gamgee stated.

Going back to Leg specialist is probably a good move, much more if you swap to sw/sh if the situation calls for it.

In the end after comparing his and my build and many others I’ve see along the way I poured together the best of all worlds. The stats are now 0.5% better than afros maybe. Some lower, some a bit higher.

Also I am going to stick with the leeching sigil. 1k damage and heal every 10 seconds is to good to skip out on.
I’ll also be carrying around anti-condi food and probably oil for a while longer. Depends if I am going to be happy with 30% crit chance or not.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQJARSjMdU2ZXImhwJigfgC9t3C7gpAQZak7pOCA-T1CEABRcBAWUlAGOEAPp0YLlgScEAaSZmiq70muAAeAAxs/QAAEgbezs5NDc0je0je0j2Nv5QH6O3ZpAuYMA-w

If you want to give it a go and love pushing individual stats, feel free to see if you can get overall better stats with the same traits just by switching gear. I’ll be waiting till the end of the week to see If there really is no more way to go higher in stats.

No no no. Brawlers is awesome! While might on block does not work that great against single targets that dont run fast hitting builds. (Which a lot of builds dont).
Atleast it does not justify dropping Brawelrs imo.

1. You get immobilized – brawlers.
2. You get chilled – brawlers.
3. You have a huge posion duration and want to go ooc (or let the signet heal you) to recover before the thief attacks again – brawlers.
4. Those condi warriors that only spam bleed and burn (not many run confusion or poison) – brawlers.

And many more.
Even Burst mastery would be better than might on block. Especially on a GS/Hammer build that need to spam its two bursts. Even the dumped down AS can crit for 6k.

Do not get me wrong, Might on block iskitten*ing awesome. But it only really helps against multiple fast hitting enemies most of the time. Its probably good in a group setup. It really depends on the situation.
Do not forget you loose crit damage if you go only 4 points in.

Indeed. Air/fire sigil on a hammer is very lackluster. The slow attackspeed coubled with the low crit chance does’nt work on a hammer. On the GS a fire sigil is quite nice and procs reliably with 100b and WW.

Intelligence sigil and sigil of battle seems to be the better option for a hammer.

Pop SoR (5might) > engange with GS and swap to hammer once in combat (3+1might) > Get hit once or twice (1might) = 10 guaranteed Might for 3 guaranteed crits on a hammer. Thats 3400power on my build! You hit like a truck.

If you run shield and block on might you can go even higher. Its awesome.

I feel leg specialist is a must have if you dont run bulls charge. Even an immobilize this short can help wonders catching up to melee range or just ensure a high burst crit.

Since I run bull charge I have swapped it for something more useful. You really only need one of those.

Well, I have run my current build pre patch aswell. Who even needs Rapid fire.
Having some serious projectile speed now lets me finally hit stuff reliably, yay for that.

Picture: 3 Hits against some low armor necro.
You can see me critting a bronze assaulter for 3k aswell on that screenshot. He must have had 3k+ armor and it was close range.

Edit: that tooltip damage is wrong btw. Hovering over the actual skill it shows 1100 damage at max range.
And before everyone wets their pants. The damage averages out on 6-7k opening hits and 3.5k hits without signet of the hunt. It is usually not anywhere near that high.

Oneshotting upleveld guys is fun though

I see where you’re getting at but I always find myself surprised over how many times I actually crit. With GS you will be at 51% chance at all times due to Fury uptime. That is the only downside to this build. But you still have signet of rage. Another sad point is that taking banner will nerf the build quite bad, which makes it semi-optimal for group fights. If you feel yourself not critting enough you might consider taking Furious Reaction over Short Temper. Final thrust crits often enough for me to prefer it over GS though. In the last 2 days I’ve had it crit for 9.4K three times on full 80s! In one hit that’s fairly easy to set up.

I run literally no vitality and 2.8K armor because frankly I don’t seem to need much more. I rarely find myself in a position where I go back and say “Crap, If I’d had 200 extra toughness I’d make it.” It happens though. But mostly when I die, it’s because I take on too many ppl or misjudge how deep I can push. That said I might be able to push further with 200 extra toughness. But it’s all about knowing your limits. If you know you don’t have enough toughness to make that or go there you have to keep your head calm and not do it. If you need to do it then you might consider more toughness and vitality.

Heh, I’ve run Sword and board for a few months myself, I can certainly relate to those final thrust crits. Its kittening awesome. I just died a lot more because I could’nt escape fights with the sword that much. The block helps only little if you cant escape the enemy. Its a great source for getting might thats true. Even the reflect is hilarious sometimes, especially now with all those rangers.

In the end I opted for the greatsword just for my own safty. And since I run bullscharge aswell its not to difficult to full drain the endurance of an enemy with the hammer, swap to GS and charge into 100b.
I still carry all the weapons with me though. Thats the good thing with builds like this. Most weapons work quite well.

I wish I could get more insight of what everyone plays though and how everyone made their roamer. I am certain many out there managed to push the stats higher with the same traits and setup in general.

Well not the worst build I’ve seen, its actually quite decent! If you can rock with it, the better. Warrior certainly isnt entirely dead yet.

I tend to prefer the GS over the sword aswell these days though.
Interesting to see that you roll with only 30% crit chance atm. Would you say its enough or do you often say to yourself: “Man if that backbreaker would have crit that’d be sweet”?

The problem with Main hand sword and Hammer I always had is that the Hammer needs to crit 3 times with the intelligence sigil for decent opening damage. Its your main source of damage anyway. Then you’d never want the final thrust to non-crit either which forces you to run double intelligence but thats a waste of your weapon swap abilities.

Currently I run with 40% critchance and its decent imo. Intelligence sigil on the hammer is a must have anyway. If I drop down to 30% I can reach the 2900 attack, 3k armor and almost 30k HP (Sadly only around 29k) on a typical 20606 or 00626 GS/Hammer build. (With guardstacks and WvW boni of course)

Its incredible how much you push indivdiual stast just by shifting gear back and forth and finding the best in slot.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQJARSjMdU2ZXImhwJagfgC9t3C7gpAQdak7dPA-T1CEABRcBAWUlAGOEAPp0YLlgScEAaSZmiq70muAAeAAxs/QAAEgf7b8tvB4mDdo3cn7sQAyGDA-w

Still trying to push that 30k HP and 3k attack but I dont think its going to be possible without the 5 might from signet of rage.

>inb4 no condition food. Well, I havent fought a single coniditon roamer since patch :o

[Bug] Questions: Might into Vita | Criticals?

Thanks man. Sad news though.

But seeing how technically from a trait-description point of view and how the editor handels it all of this extra power, wether it be might or guardstacks should work with Great Fortitude.
I think its a bug.

The increase in HP is fairly low anyway, so I wont think we get enough love for this to get heard and fixed.

As for the critchance I am currently running 60% w. Fury. Probably’ll drop to 50% as I am running an Intelligence sigil. Not sure yet.

[Bug] Questions: Might into Vita | Criticals?

Flitzie.6082

Sup, just got some questions.
Trait: Great Fortitude Adept strength
It works with bloodlust stacks, the HP goes up.

Does it work with guardstacks too?
Cannot test it atm, still another 70 ranks till I get that.

And why does it not work with normal might stacks, I always wondered. It probably might be a bit to strong for an adept trait but might gives you +35 power, not attack, so you’d assume it should synergize with the trait.
On a closer look 25 might stacks would only give you some +610 HP which is not even that much to be considered OP. Is it a bug that noone cares about?

Cirt chance/damage:
I am still puzzled by how much crit chance and damage I should go for on a roaming warrior. I understand the idea of different builds and different values in these stats being viable.
Would just like to get some numbers on what everyones running with because those two stats are usually what I prioritize on first when making a build.

Edit:
Well, am I crazy now? On this gw2skills editor might stacks DO increace the HP with this trait. Ha! Bugfix please. I want my 600 HP
