Champ farming was a TERRIBLE way to try and make gold. It was mainly for XP, crafting materials, karma, and luck, none of which are impacted by this change.
If you were farming champs for the gold drops… I mean… I don’t even know what to say…. maybe “don’t”?
It’s true that champ farming is by a wide margin not the best way to make gold (not counting TP either)
I do need to ask, but I’d assume champion boxes will include boxes from Tequalt since they too give gold.
Ran with pugs in FoTM 40+ when having AR was completely meaningless because you get hit, its instant down. Combine this with grawl map and you got a ton of wipes, also the fact that leaving FoTM back then means unable of coming back.

They just made hambow build the absolutely most telegraphed and obvious in the game. You can now literally dodge everything big the warrior is going to throw at you because its the slowest thing in the game. The bad players will just spam dodge dodge dodge and run out for absolutely not reason and get hit with everything while the good players will run circles around them.
I wish I can sell these on TP. I stopped running fractals months and months ago.
I’m not sure if its brought up but, I have several sets of gem bought armor sets. Will the new system be like it is in sPvP where equipping it on one character means unusable for another. Otherwise I’m not going to have any idea what to do with the multiple armor sets I bought.
If that’s the case I’ll prefer a refund on the gems.
I don’t think the map is bad for solo Que or team Que. I think that people complain about it because they don’t want to have to mind their positioning, and play the terrain. The cannon is very powerful, but it has a long pre-fire tell. I usually leave the area as soon as i see it bout to fire. I wonder if people are complaining about the cannon, because they think they should be able to just take it to the face. The fact that you don’t know its the next map can be a problem, but you have to accept the situation and deal with it accordingly.
There is no such thing as positioning in A or C to prepare you for a stealth pull from an engi and stunbreaks won’t save you when they immediately net shot you after the pull.
If you are not able to use your evade when a big, fad red beam pointing at you when you deserve to get pulled of the map. Dont blame the map mechanics for it.
Scorpion wire of the thief is way more complicated, cause where is no animation for it and you have to hope to hear the glass splinter early enough.
You cannot dodge the cannon. You need to literally be out of the circle, also the map itself is bad because on the map all you need are tons of pulls+knockbacks and stability and you will win every fight. There is no skill, calling thieves that just scorpion wires you in stealth when you’re capping a point is not skill.
So you’re telling me we should be able to have a 120 man zerg chain stun spam bosses so they do nothing.
Oh well, first they nerfed MF% straight off of the gear, then its nerf to crit dmg and give it a joke of a 6% stat buff. Time to break out the salvage kits and just get my ectos back out of this worthless stat item.

That is wrong. Assuming all zerkers do 10k now and 8k after the patch:
1 zerker: 10k -> 8k = 2k less equals 2/10 = 0.2
2 zerkers: 20k -> 16k = 4k less equals 4/20 = 0.2
3 zerkers: 30k -> 24k = 6k less equals 6/30 = 0.2
4 zerkers: 40k -> 32k = 8k less equals 8/40 = 0.2
5 zerkers: 50k -> 40k = 10k less equals 10/50= 0.2Your # are a assumption, not real data. No 1 know how much damage berserk build doing after the patch but the goal that anet is trying to do is stop from ppl to run nothing but berserk and give other classes a spot ( condition build) and the only way to do that is to bring the damage close to other kind of damage, so i’ll guarantee you that to pull that off is making berserk damage much lower then going from 10k to 8k it wouldn’t shock me if it goes from 10k to 6k

^ I usually agree with 90% of what A-Net does for balance + rewards but a big tough luck is definitely something I just do not understand. Making glory booster tradeable for 200 glory wouldn’t affect the economy at all since boosters do not affect ranks only glory as the currency.
Also it’s A-Net’s fault for waiting 1.5 month or so before telling to the players that boosters will not refunded whatsoever unless you bought em with gems.
Every loyal sPvPers has stackS of them, I just can’t use em up as I simply cannot play 600+ hours of sPvP in the short amount of time given before they’re worthless.
P.S Stop making them drop from achievement boxes + BL chests.

Yep, I hate A-Net decision to dump TIME LIMITED achievements that requires the rest of the players around you to be competant when 9/10 joe do w/e they want and couldn’t careless, die and stay dead. You have zero control on what they do and they bring you down.
But srsly, A-net stop tying in “TIME LIMITED” achievements into groups zerg cooperation. No one has the time to sit around hours and hours a day until you filter out all the bottom of the barrel players out of the map and get some players who give a kitten .
They just need to NORMALIZE servers. Lump 3-4 servers into one and suddenly its no longer a blob server PvDooring and 100 blobbing the poor 1 players on the lower pop server on reset night. There is just seriously too much disparity among server populations for WvW that it makes no sense.
If A-Net every get the coding around, having NA+EU combined into 1 MMR would fix much of the issues, as the low pooling is very apparently. Also from the screenshot, you can see that your player ranking is all over the place, MMR isn’t really averaged out as it seems to take the highest MMR player into account more predominately.
who says thieves have no stability? Use dagger storm → esc or dodge roll, there 9s stability. Seriously, you get interrupted you should lose ini. Almost every thief play blind spam, guess you never been on the receiving end of it. Also aren’t thieves incredibly popular with w/e they do because they excel in both PvP, WvW and PvE. Nothing like the current stealth past everything while doing damage on par with warrior (if not higher).
So the complaining is that a thief should be able to spam nonstop Pistol Whip without a care in the world?
Or it could be just the LS they needed to announce an expansion and open up the new area.
“No more tricks, Scarlet” seems to be broken. Friends and I succeeded in completing the event and we were never hit by the hologram’s laser nor did we go near the marks but we never got the achievement.
“In Tune” seems to be working though. It took me 5 or 6 tries to understand how it really works. First of all, you need to know that the prime hologram counts. It means that you must not shoot him unless you have the white light boon. If you touch him once without the right boon, you’ll fail.
Also, you must never touch any of the small holograms without having the corresponding boon. If you want to kill one of the red holograms, make sure you have the red boon active. If you don’t and shoot him anyway, you’ll fail.
That’s my experience and I got the achievement once I took every hologram into account (including the big one) and once I managed to avoid shooting any hologram without having the right boon (understand that if you don’t have any boon, you must not shoot).
I also took this into account. As I never attacked the prime hologram without the ultraviolet attunement. I also kept looking at my buffs and never got the ghost debuff, it will show up if you attacked an invulnerable target I think so I avoided doing so on my 3rd attempt. I’m marking this as bugged.
“No more tricks, Scarlet” and “In Tune” achievements are definitively broken.
How do I know? Never got hit once, was in a 5 man party so tagging non-issue, turned off autoattack so I never attacked when attunement was not buffed. Even waited at least 5 seconds before attacking after before buff ran out. Also was the very first person to run into the portal in the first section of fighting the hologram scarlet so she wasn’t aggroed (can’t say the same for everyone else behind me as half of em got hit in loading screen.
Also I think same goes with spider coccoon as I’ve attempted this 4 times and never got it.
TL;DR. Hologram Scarlet achievement bugged, don’t bother attempting it until they get fixed.

This. I’ve spawned in the laser several times, this is like old issue with marionette but unlike the marionette where she attacks one group at a time this literally messes with everyone as they come in. Also to the fact that “In Tune” achievement is a pain because if you have the light buff, running into colored buffs won’t refresh your ultraviolet buff so you gotta constantly watch when the timer runs out and stop your attack.
Seriously, some testing on the QA side would be nice.
As much as A-Net been telling players to use up their glory boosters, I can tell you that 99% of the players just simply do not play sPvP enough to use up their boosters. I’ve been getting em on a daily basis after you removed tickets and still got 500 left over. No I do not have enough time or want to spend all day sPvP only, but I’m definitely disliking your approach to “tough love” on how you are going to deal with it (being they’re going to be worthless+unexchangeable".
Maybe if you stopped giving em out along with achievement chests, BL chests I wouldn’t have so many.
Did they forget the god-ele bunker best dps/bunker/escape d/d builds? You know the one where 2 d/d eles can fight off 30 players in WvW. Someone should link the video to remind what eles were before they were nerfed.
If you wait a moment 9/10 times the overflow they were in will have room. My party of 5 were put in random overflows and we eventually got in the same overflow easily by just waiting 5 minutes into the event.
Patience, I believe A-Net did it so that overflows will max out so people will have enough players to get to 1500~ refugees saves.
I’m almost positive you wouldn’t be able to sell any of the skins u get from sPvP. All the skins will be account bound. If anything it’ll be just be lower demand for the item that is all!
I don’t see the point, WvW just comes down to who has better coverage. Why not just simply look at the number of players attached to a server and award wins that way. Seriously I’m joking but this is literally how this will play out.
From the looks of it EoTM has something WvW doesn’t, people on it at all times. It’s not because its new but its because people from various servers get pooled into one. This makes time zones irrelevant. The best solution is to combine servers for WvW into alliances so smaller servers can compete against another and fill the borderland. For example JQ stacked? No problem put combine 2 lower tier servers into BG/SoR to help fill the gap, you not only solved the problem with one server simply 100 man map zerging down 10 players, u also fixed WvW staleness as you’ll see fresh faces and fight new players/guilds that play very different from one another.
Of course you inherently run into problems where one team can’t collaborate as well on teamspeak, but given time you’ll have dedicated small strong WvW hardcore guilds that can carry themselves.
Way to big map for only 2 WP’s. After several wipes you’re just tired to waste time on runnin.

Its boring spending 95% of the time running from A to B to C, only to miss the fight completely most of the time.
If they only wanted 2 WP’s, should have put 1 at spawn other near centre.
I hope to god A-net doesn’t take your “concerns” seriously but the point to EoTM isn’t to kamikaze and zombie back into the fray. If you’re dying that often you need to reflect on what your doing wrong.
The waypoints are there to first aid players reclaiming their keep and also distance it from the main parts of the map to encourage people to spread out. The map itself has various areas for large groups of players, the middle and lower areas for smaller teams to move about backcapping etc.
At the same time with the ability to blow up bridges let small man teams kill a group of mindless zergging or cc them off choke points.
My only complaint is the seigeraizer bug where he is invulnerable and sitting on the enemy capture circle.

It’s broken at the moment, apparently not only do you need to avoid getting downed at all, dodge the marionette attacks obviously but you have to succeed in killing it. The failure rate for this event is at least 90%. I have no issues failure reflects the loot you get, but do not tie this to TIME LIMITED achievement categories.
I am only specifically talking about the dodging attacks achievements as A-Net is completely at fault here for their lack of description on how to actually get them as to receive completion is well beyond just dodging them.
A-net needs to make it so if you’ve successfully dodged marionette’s attacks and destroyed the regulator you should receive it, otherwise I’m finding myself absolutely hating the players around me that just fail constantly.
This golem should be the tier above omega and should be implemented in WvW.
Also you got every seige piece mastery already, but you’re still missing golem mastery!

I’m really tired of seeing these types of threads from people with a l2p issue.As a warrior in spvp, I’m tired of such simplistic suggestions.
The fact that poison counters signet in a particular way is plain wrong.
The fact that PERMANENT poison might be a counter for warrior because it almost negates the regeneration the class bases its strength on is debatable.
And I’m also dead tired of what this forum has become.
We just debate whether some aspect of warrior is OP or not, without reasoning.
I haven’t seen a discussion about new spvp builds since mace/shield + GS and then hambow were introduced.
This forum has been the first victim of those builds.
The second has been our pride in making the class work. First it made me fall in love with the class, and now strips me away from all the pride playing it.
Tell me about it, I started playing warrior in spvp right after the quickness nerf which was when warrior was at the absolutely worst state, complete utter trash that ranger pets were 2x better than the class itself. I got good at warrior well before any buffs came and can win 1v1s against other classes.
I dun even run “meta” builds and people complain to me saying OP this OP that. I wish they just return warrior to the trash state and get others to kitten off when I outplay them.
Solution to this has always been to make some kind of underflow so pool in all players into instance to complete it.

Conditions are too weak? You clearly never seen an engineer/necro. Where the heck have you been? Ever since the quickness nerf its been nothing but condition meta.
Well, he was correct about the positioning…
Doesn’t matter when classes have pull or fear abilities. When fighting on A or C point (or skyhammer room) you can basically get pulled/feared into glass or off the edge no matter how careful you are about positioning.
I can be on my engineer, notice an enemy bunker doing fairly well to hold the point, and while he’s busy fighting I simply have to pull out toolkit and magnet him into broken glass. 9/10 times it results in a kill unless he gets lucky with a dodge/block.
Skyhammer favors some classes/builds FAR more than others and that is dumb, the map should never have such a huge impact on how well your class/build performs.
Borrowing someone else’s suggestion, there needs to be a second level under the map on which your character “falls” and has to spend time running around and getting back up.
Pulling/knocking people off the map should only mean temporarily removing them from the fight (making them run back), NOT outright killing them and getting instantly awarded for it with extra points.Until such a thing is implemented, Skyhammer needs to be removed from both Solo Queue and made hotjoin-only. I would be happy to play Skyhammer in hotjoin just to troll people with CC builds, but please not in TPvP where I actually care about winning.
^ This. If you ever done solo q. All I ever see are engineers doing toolkit pulls and instant win when you’re fighting. With the god awful camera and close walls that is point A+C if ur not looking in his direction you’re not going to see it coming. I’ve ran immolobizing venom+wire and its just an I win button. There is no skill in any of this, you either get a lucky dodge or hope the guy fks up.
Not as bad as this solo q. I think their 5th raged after we hit 300 and they only had 6. 500-6 was the result. Solo q isn’t as all over the place as team in terms of match making.
Please, this would be an great thing. They’ll have to remove glory boosters from TP as well, but let’s be honest who the heck buys em anyways.
Are the mystery coffers worth it? I opened a couple and got garbage, salvaging for useless crafting materials and negligible luck doesn’t seem worth it considering it still takes 4.8s per coffer… Anyone know what the “rare” items are you get from them?
If A-Net wants to break the condition spam meta, they shouldn’t of nerfed quickness to the ground. Now its just bunker this bunker that and keep dodging until people bleed to death. Nerfing quickness pretty much removed the condition power creep and we’re seeing it full bloom. Go tank and dump conditions, win every fight.
Is the bonus for win/loss or just wins? Also it may help players getting into tpvp if they were given 1 match chest for losses instead of nothing, but at the same time award nothing to players who quit mid-game.
Saw a necro rolling with frostfang + incerator. Looked bad as. Lackluster, to each and their own, I think it looks sweet. Best looking axe for sure by far.
So what do we do with these? I’m sure people have gotten easily 500+ of these sitting around and I highly doubt I’d be able to use them all.
All you have to do A-net is make it a new item type where you can let people transmute a T3 cultural human armor into the flamekissed version at a lower cost of 400gems. This will let everyone who wanted that skin to keep the skin yet have everyone who purchased the original still happy.
The cultural skins stay CULTURAL and exclusive. It also allows you to sell them in different colors for various races while having the gold skin to help the economy, not to mention you can be lazy since reskins are less work but not get anger people as buying the cultural set for 120 is still a prerequisite.
