Interesting night on JQ BL tonight.

JQ makes some good pushes, definitely seems like some good scouting work.

FA seems to not want to push JQ at all, tries to bite at TC’s heels, and gets their natural tower taken away from them.

Is that the tower that TC donated 200 badges at? Then JQ followed them in and got wiped also?

Ah, we did lose a few badges but they were quickly regained a few minutes later. When we rolled back through and cleared the keep out. I made more money on FA last night then JQ. At least they new when to run. All FA did was drop on the floor and give me loot bags.

DIS wasnt looking too hot last night against an outmanned FA force. I guess when TC rolls around in 50 man blobs its pure skill and killing 20 players is a big deal.

Ah well it’s a simple explanation, here let me break it down for you.

Server time, 7:12 P.M and around that time is when our commanders/guilds start logging off. When we only have 1 commander (a good one) left, all the militia will follow him/her (yes girls can command too).
Was lots of fun earlier fighting TSL/NOPE when we had multiple groups on map. Props to trying to split your forces instead of just zergballin us, but it got boring after a while, and yes we had fun “zerging” after our other commanders logged.
Was more fun fighting JQ (PRO? I think), they pack a punch!

Thanks for the kind words. JQ has some of the finest and most veteran guilds. Even in GW1

I need more data on the Ice elemental: I cannot find any information on how many times it is able to cast its heal on average, and its script (does he always prioritize healing you, or nearby allies, or itself?). I will try to do some testing, but at the moment my TC time is more focused towards gathering cast times and aftercast times for the skill data thread.
If what I suspect is correct, the elemental heals you twice during its lifetime, so the healing output per second (180s cd) is equal to that of a water trident spammed on cd (with no healing power: skill EHP/s = 0.7%). The Ice elemental heal does not scale with your healing power, so it becomes less useful as you increase this stat.

If I can give you an advice it would be to reconsider your food (focus on power rather than precision) and your boon duration runes (major runes of the monk isn’t the best choice). But WvW build TC is not my area of expertise

Thanks mate. Why pre over pow stacks since pow increases more linearly while pre has better returns sincs its a bell curve.

Also go for boon duration since boon duration increases fury(crit) and heals.

Also i think the pet is too unbstable to calculoate. From exp. it heals for crap but applies freeze condition damage on the enemy very well and has around 2200 hp

It does not apply burning inside the ring. It applies burning if foes cross the ring at any point in its duration. It directly damages foes near you when you first cast it.

Also remember your ring of fire followed by casting earth 4 creates might aoe bonus.

Also you need to consider the additional 180 toughness from signet of earth

Add omnomberry bread

Add variable of signet of restoration

Add arcane shielding that reduces 5 blows every 30seconds to reduce burst damage death chance

Add evasive arcana dodge roll heal

Add elite elemental glyph pet from water that heals as well.

The fury by using both frost and shocking aura stack. That by itself is really great to get hybrid builds to 70% crit

I truly hope this is the case. I wish they fashioned their WvW zones more on the DAOC map system. Unfortunately they did not.

It is actually quite puzzling. We know some Mythic-EA employees left for Anet and we know Anet’s WvWvW system was meant to present a better play experience than RvRvR but somewhere, somehow in the middle of developing GW2 wvw system, things did not quite go that way.

Perhaps because they decided to design everything in-house, from scratch and were unfortunately banking on their “e-sports pvp” rather than their more profitable and now more successful WvWvW playmode.

I mean we are lookin for small mans vs small mans. Have literally zero or maybe even negative interest in ppt or Zerging or meta. So if those two servers have groups that don’t run 5/6…. Like i asked its basically pointless right? Cuz a few people have said coming to jq will present us with server matchups against good small man action (along with 60-80 mans which well just flat out avoid)… Trying to find a place to xfer our 5 man to see if any small man action exists before we quit the game entirely.

Tier 1 never runs Pure 5v5 groups. But there are many 2v5,3v1,4v8,3v25,4v5,5v2,1v1,2v4 formations out there. JQ has more small man groups because we are outnumbered by bg and sor by a great number, now even SEA timezone is crazy. What happened to tier 8 becoming the official 5v5 man battleground?

JQ is in the same position SBI and SoS found themselves in.

Trying to survive on one strong time zone and being smashed / limping along in the other 3. It indeed is not able to compete in T1 at the moment but also it would destroy the tier 2 servers (I believe) it is a weird vacuum to be in, which we won’t see the outcome of until the 3 get split up and JQ gets – JQ/TC/DB. The stigma of being #1 for so long takes it’s toll on a server, be wary T1.

Good luck to JQ to pull itself out of this, may I just ask, don’t pull a SBI and abandon your map every night, actually fight back.

Edit: @Kryyg – What point is there to spending all night upgrading a BL knowing noone is there to hold it when the SoR map zerg shows up? Waha is playing for the enjoyment of the game and seems to be enjoying himself a lot more.

If JQ played purely for PPT (including taking all our massive PvE and sPvP base and putting em in WvWvW) we would be no.1 every week, every second, every day.

Can i ask all sor and bg to help farm cof for the whole JQ server to transfer to TC? Right now jq is so dead third and its not even fun 3way fights for first anymore. Imnot trying to insult JQ or anything but the current T1 is not fun when 1 server cant do kitten and outmanned. First, JQ is far from dead. Second your assumptions are without merit. Thirdly, evidence speaks for itself. JQ may have 60% of the total numbers of BG in WvW and 40% the numbers of SoR in WvW but what we lack in quantity we make in quality. Lastly, nothing is stopping TC guilds from transferring to JQ to balance tier 1.
