“I wish juvenile wolves were bigger”
I would love that. I love WvW and I love my server (Tarnished Coast). That would be awesome.
+1
I was expecting something different, not just “oh yeah, I found her”.
But I’m glad that Eir is trying to get closer to Braham. I hope to see more of them someday.
Well sure if you can only play a couple of hours a week what would a house matter to you then? But for the people who really love Guild Wars 2 and play it even as a sport.
Also you could always buy gems or something… But sure new players would have to get to level 80 first and get into the game and then think about getting a house, that’s the whole point.
A house matters to me because I am a roleplayer. Just because a player has to study or to work (or both, like me) it doesn’t mean that he or she doesn’t love Guild Wars 2 as much as you do. Frankly, I can’t understand how you could get to this kind of conclusion.
And I’m talking about the limitation of the number of the houses, not about the character’s level. There should be no limit, or new players wouldn’t be able to buy a house simply because there would be none available anymore after just a few months.
I don’t like that idea much. It should be available for everybody, not only for the people that have time to farm or that can buy a lot of gems to trade for gold.
Keep in mind that GW2 is for everyone. It is not only for people that can play for over six hours a day, but also for the ones that can only play a couple of hours a week.
How about an instance that we can customize and that everybody would have as default?
Also, in a couple of months after the release of the system you are suggesting, all the houses would be occupied already. So what about new players?
Southsun Cove wouldn’t be safe for Quaggans. I mean, that poor balls of cuteness already have to deal with krait, risen and pirates, and I love them too much to feed them to the karka too.
But if anet could put them behind some kind of barrier to keep the monsters outside, it would be perfect. Coo!
I used my mesmer (also has no speed signet) but I didn’t seem to be at a disadvantage. Are you guys sure about that?
I wouldn’t like that much, no. I don’t think it is fair at all.
I am not saying that because I am someone that can’t pay for Premium content. If there was a Premium Option I would probably use it because I always want to get all that I can from a game. However, I understand how unfair it would be for people that can’t pay for it, so I don’t think it is a good idea.
Ugh, it is so annoying! I stopped using my Crab Toss Champion title because people were whining so much. “If you won it already, why are you stealing the crab from me?”, Oh, I don’t know, maybe it is because I still need the achievements for grabbing and carrying crabs? Or maybe it is because I LIKE playing Crab Toss?
I swear that I will never play it again after getting the achievements. It is fun, but the people whining all the time ends up hindering the fun. Can’t we get some kind of block while in the game? Like, competitors not being able to whispers to one another or using the /say chat while in the arena? Or both?
I believe Lady Kasmeer is just another one of Faren’s romantic interests. I really like him and I’m glad he is back, I think he is hilarious.
They both are at the beach, south of Pearl Islet Waypoint.
I laughed so hard when I talked to Faren…
Sadly, he doesn’t seem to remember that I am his best friend. Doesn’t matter, had Faren on speedos and Chauncey von Snuffles III. It was a good day.
For example, I link some armors that I think give the feeling that the character is a very skilled person and good at their job (IMO), that they got armor that relates to their work and looks impressive (and sexy too, though not sexist!)
(There are Light armor examples, though I could/should have linked others too. Also, each link shows the particular gender or genders I’m talking about)
-snip-Long list-snip-
I think these look pretty sexy, impressive for their professions, but not degrading, even the most revealing ones.
Great list. I see your point and I agree with you wholeheartedly.
When choosing the armor that my girls will wear, I usually take into account the personality I made up for them and the lore behind her race (yes, I’m a roleplayer), but more than anything I like them to look powerful.
Granted, the only one that would ever use a skimpy outfit would be my Sylvari, and that’s because I love her bio-luminescence and I hate that most foliage armor does’t gleam with her. I still need a better looking long skirt for my Mesmer, who doesn’t wear skimpy armor.
He does. Also, he is rich, you know?
I really want this.

Suggestion: Write “Here there be monsters” on the map, all around Southsun Cove.
Yes! +1
And while at it, it would be nice if they could make multiple endless quaggan tonics. Killer Whale Quaggan, Blue Baby Quaggan, Pink Baby Quaggan, Green Quaggan, this kind of stuff, so not everyone of your guild will look the same.
(…)And I’m pretty sure we never see her again after Claw Island even though she lived.
She goes to your home instance after Claw Island.
Edit: BTW her name is Mira.
So,guessing you never took a look at Norn male hair… ? Most are down right ugly.
Guilty. All my characters are female and I never bothered trying to make any male character =/

Even though I would love to be able to swap between my Staff and Scepter/Dagger, I understand that people would flip out because “Elementalists already have 20 weapon skills while everybody else got only 10”. We would end up getting nerfed to the ground so it would be worse for us in the long run.
Adorable!
We need more hair styles for every race, that’s true, but Asuras are the ones that need them the most (IMO).
Yeah, that poor cub… I hope her legionnaire and the other cubs are alright, though I know chances are that they are not. I am glad we could help her feel a little better by giving back her wooden soldier.
I want to tear our new “personal nemesis” apart once I get to know her identity.
I would like to see cosmetic mounts.
I don’t need a speed boon (though my Mesmer could definitely use it), I just need it for roleplay purposes.
Actually, the Riding Broom is a cosmetic mount, now that I think about it…
YES. My Norn wants her own Dolyak Ranch, and my Sylvari wants more violets and less violence.
Vulpis, don’t you want to group up and run the dungeon? Really, I could go with you if you want to. I really liked it and I wouldn’t mind running it again
We would have to find three more people tough, since my guildies are offline right now, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to find more people that still want to run the dungeon.
I don’t know the reason why you don’t like to do this kind of content, but it is really worth it if you give it a try. Really fun ^^
Unless they do the dungeon as well, they’re still going to miss the final chapter. And grinding the rest is pointless, since the only way to get the reward from that is to do the dungeon on top of everything else.
Well, yeah, but the dungeon is pretty cool and the OP never mentioned that he didn’t like dungeons. But I guess it is pretty much like you said, yes, though I think the dungeon was the best part and is really fun to do, even with random people that you might find in front of the entrance (which is a weird thing for me to say, since I usually avoid contact with random people in game because English is not my first language, so I am afraid of messing up and making people think that I am some kind of illiterate moron).
And I am just sitting here, waiting for a long, noble skirt for my Mesmer that is not made of foliage, doesn’t show a lot of skin and doesn’t clips with my favourite light boots (AC) and my favourite light top (Magician).
We really need more armor skins (of all kinds and for all tastes).
Well yeah what they did to the prisoners was evil, but I’m hating on them more for pulling me in and attacking while I’m doing dailies. lol
Alright, that’s a good reason xD
I will also remember Frostbite. I never thought a devourer could be so cute.
I’m pretty sure you can pick up from where you left off
But just because this is the first part of the Living Story (Flame & Frost). When the next part starts (The Secret of Southsun), the previous will become inaccessible. You are pretty lucky, considering that you would have missed the final chapter of this story if you had decided to come back next week instead lol
The content is going to be removed next Sunday (12th), if I remember the announcement correctly.
-snip-
I’ll also remember that I hate the Molten and will gladly curbstomp any members of them I see in the future.
This. Oh so much this!
I can’t kill enough members of the Molten Alliance. I hate them so much for what they dared to do to these prisoners… Braham’s reaction to the weapon testing inside the Molten Facility really broke my heart.
It is awesome that this story could make me feel so much hate towards the enemy. That’s pretty good storytelling, really.
Yes, we need more feminine town clothes. The new blouses are cute, but they only look cute on my human characters. The shorts show too much skin, and though I understand that there are a lot of people that like that, it simply doesn’t fit any of my characters (and it looks like a diaper on my Asura). If we could have some dresses and long skirts, something regal, that would be great. I would also appreciate more race-themed town clothes, since everything right now seems to be designed for humans. I know they are popular, alright, but the other races need love too! ^^
I want to know that too! I hope that we can still interact with them, they are great. There are a lot of good character that are gone forever from our personal story after their arc is complete, and I don’t want it to happen to Braham and Rox too.
Can we keep them? Pretty please?
This is one of the top two things I would love to see happening as part of the Living Story. The other would be rebuilding the Owl Lodge, though I’m pretty sure something like that would only be possible after killing Jormag and silencing the Sons of Svanir.
+1
If I could change the color scheme of the Toy Staff, I would totally use the skin. Same with the Norn cultural weapons and a lot of other skins. It would be nice to be able to change the color scheme of back pieces too.
About aqua breathers, there are already dye areas for them (their color changes if you preview a dye while underwater), so I think we can safely assume that they will soon be dyeable.
I couldn’t agree more. My Mesmer, who is a female human noble, really needs a proper dress (or 2, or 50).
+1
I must agree.
You guys made me hate so much the Molten Alliance for what they were doing in that Old Aperture-Like place that I wanted to tear them apart, and I mean it. I was really angry at them, and it is something really awesome to make a player want to beat the enemy not because of the title or the loot, but because the enemy is someone that really deserves to be severely beaten.
The dungeon was really fun and I loved everything about it. Rox reminds somehow reminds me of Tybalt, I don’t really know why, but I really miss him so that makes me like her too. I feel sorry for Braham, I wish he could solve his problems with Eir.
I am brainstorming with my friends right now, coming up with crazy theories about who is the person behind the Molten Alliance. I can’t wait to find out!
I would love that, but I don’t want to support The Consortium at the moment. I have a bad feeling about them.
1UP
The mini-game would be great even if it wasn’t for the nostalgia, simply because the mechanics are fun and because we can solo it (it is hard, but it is possible). Also, I love finding hidden places.
I’m not sure about the chests around the world, though. I like them, but I can see how they can annoy other people.
Also, there is nothing lore-breaking about an Asura using his “magic, crystal, rainbow” technology to make a video game. I can hardly think of anything more “asuran” than that, actually.
Congratulations!
I can’t spend too much time playing it right now, but I will surely go for the achievements next weekend.
I suppose they can’t please everybody.
Too bad you don’t like it. I find it quite amusing.
Moto is winning a Snaff Prize.
He is winning every Snaff Prize. Forever. They should rename it “Moto Prize”.
Zojja might get mad.
