You are correct. If you want to make other armor for your necromancer, it is better to have the tailor. Levelling leatherworker just for one backpack makes little sense.

We can only hope for such a change. It would be big improvement and make sense as the real commander is the player.

I would prefer a little different system. Instead of marriage, I would like to have the chance to have a bond with another character that might not have anything to do with romantic relations.

A bond of two who for some reason care very much about each other. To some this could be, of course, romantic marriage or other romantic relationship. But it could also be a very firm friendship or family members caring for each other.

Those people exist and will always exist. If it is not these things then it is something else. Not so long ago they were demanding to have the chance to check everyone’s gear.

I find them silly and annyoing, but I’d rather know beforehand. Do you really want to play with that type of people?

I do get where you are coming from. I am facing Arah Storymode tonight. Scares the living daylights out of me even though I have done that dungeon before.

Funny. Time gating is not the problem for me. I cannot get enough materials to get that time gated thing done every day or even every other day.

It is not like the boosters are replacing another item. If you don’t like them, just throw them away.

I rather enjoy a warrior with a bow or rifle. Staff ele does lots of damage from a distance. Not sure about bursting.

For PvP you do not have to level up at all.

Any profession you find interesting is easy to level up, any that you are bored with is grindy. Guardians are tough after the first bit, Necros and rangers have little helpers.

Hmm. I play a Berserker Warrior. I also play a non-berserker warrior. And I play two Necromancers, two Engineers, two Elementalists, two Guardians, two Mesmers, two Rangers and two Thieves.

I am having fun with all of them.

Have you done map completion? There are quite a few skillpoints available that way.

This is not an easy question. I think personally I don’t pay that much attention to what buttons I push or in which order. More important is what I am trying to do at the moment instead of how.

I look around and if I see something interesting I go investigate. I talk to and listen to the NPCs. Sometimes they make me laugh, sometimes I feel sorry for them. Sometimes I can help them out of a bad situation. I set out to do a task instead of gaining a level, the levels happen on their own. I don’t grind, I am in not that much of a hurry. (I have 13 characters at lvl 80 and some on the way.)

Switching weapons/attunements does bring variety to the fight although most fights don’t really take that long. You could even carry extra weapons to try out every once in a while. Also, try going to a bit different areas. See different environments and meet new adversries.

Also, you apparently can buy stuff with glory that gives level for PvE. Sorry, I don’t know more about that, nothing is getting me into PvP torture.

You cannot change orders. However, you can make another character, get him/her in Vigil and buy the armor. Then transmute it to a white armor piece making it account bound. Put it in the bank and have your guardian pick it up and transmute to his choice of stats.

I have to admit that that bit did strike me a bit funny as well. I don’t see Gendarran Fields being that much colder than Kessex Hill although they are up near snowcapped mountains.

Otherwise I love what they are saying. And I am a bit worried about their next destination…

They are account bound. You can use them on any character on your account.

None who got Digital Deluxe earlier than Heroic Edition came out have gotten that stuff. It is how things usually work.

Creating an add is easy, but starting a group to do something completely new to with strangers can be intimidating. Some people are not very nice to newbies or anyone who stumbles sometimes.

I would also like the LFG to have a bit more text. It would be easier to be able to say what you want. On the other hand, I really wish people would read the adds. When I look for a group specified ‘Relaxed run, all classes, lvl 75+, P1’ the group fill in a minute or two max. I’d like to put ‘no speedrun’ in the add, but there isn’t enough space and I also figure people would speedread past the ‘no’.

As it is I do often get mellow people, but I have also gotten a group of zerker-speedrunners. I grit my teeth and ran after them as fast as the little Asura could. As a zerker warrior she could hold her own, but I did not have fun.

I also have 13 lvl 80 characters.

Ten of them are on this account and represent every species and both genders equally. This account has no lower level characters at this time. Double representation in professions for guardian and elementalist, all other professions just one.

Three are on my NA account. A warrior asura female, a norn thief girl and a male human mesmer. Growing up a ranger, necromancer, engineer and by accident a second warrior.

Get something every 50-100 kills? Umh. How many creatures do you suppose we should be killing every day? Is the purpose of this game to massacre everything? I

If you can invite your friends over to your house, or visit theirs, play a bit together. But do not give your account information to anyone. It is forbidden.

I stopped even trying to get the goggle achievement after trying that jump quite a few times. It made the whole thing no longer fun.

It is good to have an option you can do alone too. Though no-one says you cannot take a friend along.

I remember similiar guild in one matchup.
It was easy to deal with them. I just called my guild and we killed them. We killed them 4 times and then they left.

I wish all servers would do this. It is not that they attack and kill, which is normal. It is that they have purposefully chosen the singlemost frustrating place to do it and flaunt it in their guild name.

I feel that the purpose of doing battle should be to win the war/matchup, not inflicting maximum pain on the individuals on the other side. These campers don’t do their servers, and they do exist on all or at least most servers, any favour. What they do does not help to win the game, they could be more effective playing everywhere intead of sitting there like spiders waiting for the next fly.

Also you will save room if you transform your silk daily into the thread needed to make Damask. One stack disappears in 2.5 days.

I’ll have to check that out! I recently did an event (if I recall correctly) also at Iron Marches that I loved. We were chasing down a very big devourerer with the NPC. Flame Legion kept interfering and we had to fight them all the way. I liked the ending very much, but I don’t want to spoil it for others.

OP, I know this does not help the whole issue, but please, add me to your contacts and feel free to ask those questions anytime I am online. I will try to answer as fast as possible. I don’t know everything, but there is the wiki and dulfy. They usually know the little details I’ve missed.

There are not enough people from Poland playing to justify the cost of translation. It is as simple as that.

I think you two could have a lot of fun just facing whatever you meet in your travels. The game is extremely beautiful, even most of those who have other gripes admit to that.

Take your time looking around and listening too. The NPCs may just have something to say. Sometimes it may lead to an adventure, sometimes you can get a laugh. Sometimes it reveals something about how the locals think about things.

As for the Endgame: It starts at lvl 2. Right after tutorial. Of course added levels expand your possibilities of places to see or gear you can get. But this is not a race to top level. It is a journey.

If you choose to transmute, get Crystals, not stones.

I like many of the Ascended skins, but I have also transmuted some. I love the staff very much and it is unlikely I’ll transmute those. It is not a waste if it makes you enjoy the game more.

Even if the king were buried there, I doubt there would be any blood left now. Bones maybe. (Of course blood may be just a more poetic way of say DNA, which could be found in the marrow.)

1. Pick a race you like. The racial skill are not really a deciding factor. You don’t even have to play in your race’s starter area if you prefer another.

2. The elementalist forums can really answer build questions better. At the lowest levels it is not very significant, but maybe somone can shed a light on that too. Elementalsit is squishy at the start. Be prepared to die many times. It is normal.

It is up to you whether you want to sell them for coin or keep them or a bit of both. Only you know which makes things more fun. For levelling your crafting you need a lot of materials and they prices are unlikely to come down.

I am so jealous. See, I need more than 12000 of them. I don’t think I will get that many though.

Keep then for a bit. Just in case a new use comes for them. Or they might become sellable to merchants at least. Better safe than sorry.

1. Piken Square is a pretty nice server. It is the unofficial EU RP server and as such mostly has pretty mature playerbase.

2. PvE anything that feels good to you. PvP…not my thing at all. I’ll let the experts answer that. You know you have 5 slots, right? And that for PvP characters are automatically lvl 80?

The bank and the wallet are shared between all your characters. You cannot mail yourself though.

Panda Sheppard is correct. The citizens need the protection too or they’ll just go down again. Thye need to get out of the city, just ressing/encouraging does not count.
