Actually you can craft Ascended without Laurels.
The Inscription/insignia recipes for Nomad (Ventari) stats is available in Drytop for Geods and Sinister (Verata) in Silverwastes for Bandit Crests.

The recipies for individual weapons/armor pieces are rare drops in those areas, but they are availabe on the Trading Post.

To get any stats you want, visit Miyani at the Mystic Forge and buy ‘Anthology of Heroes’ for 10 Spirit Shards.

( I do think that anyone this dedicated would probably buy the game though.)

You won’t lose your normal rewards when helping. They just aren’t giving you anything extra for mentoring. This may not keep out those who really want to troll, but it will not encourage people to run around with the star without any intent of helping others.

Everyone has the chance for the stats. If you want to be a god, get very good at using what you got. There are some amazing people that solo content people like me muddle through with the help of four others.

And you can just ignore jumping puzzles. Though if you don’t, you will get better and they won’t be quite that awful anymore. Some people absolutely love them, they deserve something they like in the game too.

The choice is yours. The character slot for those who had registered the game before HoT was announced is only available until the end of this month. After that Standard Edition will not give a character slot.

This very much confuses me. I did not know people could play through Steam. Do they have their own servers too, for Cerberus is not a server I recognize.

One wonders if the OP has played the Sylvari personal story “Where Life Goes.” It is my favorite of the the three, though all of them are valuable when trying to understand Sylvari.

As for there being Sylvari on other Continents, I hope we will discover that some say. Not sure if they’d be all the same or if they adapt to the environment. Also not sure if they can live anywhere outside a jungle.

Theh are actually very close in price at the current exchange rate. A € is worth a litrle more than a $, true. But our euro prices have the sales tax included. The U.S. people get the tax added to the price shown. This morning I saw people saying they paid $109 for the Ultimate.
