Please do not remove the normal burst skills, there is no problem with having the tactical option of when normal bursts are better and when one should go berserk and use the new types of burst…
The problem with the spec is that the specialization options are nearly all bad, not even close to the other warrior spec trees, the new utility abilities being very kitten poor and some new bursts needing a bit of rework.
I really hope they do not remove the normal bursts as a berserker, that would be insane <.<

The content has been pretty good as of late, but i wonder why Anet is so determined to make a’’living story’’ when their story telling is by far the weakest part of the game. I dont want to be mean but everytime you hear dialog in the game it is cringe worthy <.<

I do not understand the dislike of Teq, it is the single best encounter they have added to the game since release and it is still being done(just like karka queen is also being killed now all of a sudden, which is nice to see, very nice)
Another boss like Teq is highly welcome, sure Teq is not killed everyday on every server but it shouldnt be like that either way. A few fights in the game where a server bands up together and advertises the coming kill is just awesome
Actually, I think the better solution is that stability should clear and prevent immobilize. Also, stun breakers should be able to break any immobilize/root in the game.
THIS! It seems like common sense that this should be the counter to immobilizes, that they should be declared a type of stun.
No, I like the variety. Stability is already a free pass on many important things, it should have things it can’t answer.
I will second this one, making stability counter root would be silly.

From what they showed in the livestream the new heal will be pretty bad, 3 seconds is not long at all and in no way will you take enough dmg to heal you full within that time or even get as much hp back as healing surge.
In zergs it might work ok if you get lucky and a whole lot of people hit you(or you go complete suicide and put it on) but in any small scale type of fighting it will be completely useless.
Rifle is useless on warrior, killshot included.
Such a long cast time you have all the time in the world to dodge.
To kill decent/good thieves you must learn a skill that does not come from your class.
Predict where they are in stealth, otherwise they will always escape you when they need to. Learn to predict and you will hit them enough to finish the job even in stealth, and berserker stance is vital to this also so you will not get blinded when they do pop stealth.
Building my character is a motivation, not as much stat wise as it is look wise and getting new abilities( i am looking forward to new ones being added, and new weapons)
But the biggest drive for me is always pvp and improving in PvP. That is just an endless amount of fun content that never gets old.
I do also enjoy the occasional relaxing pve though
I guess im pretty varied.. but pvp is what keeps me going, if i am not interested in the pvp i am not interested in the game either.
If you wanted a condi warrior for fun you would have done it 10 to 6 months ago.You just don’t make a condi build for fun anymore .You make it for BOORING.S/s Bow is the most booring thing ever and no skill build ever.
Yeah man! Instead, you gotta use the most skillful builds a warrior can make. These take A LOT OF SKILL and are not boring at all. They involve super precise and fun attacks that take huge amounts of skill:
-Sword/warhorn + Hammer (Just spam hammer and use sword for escapes. Super tanky due to unsuspecting foe being so good)
-Mace/Shield + GS (Spam Mace F1 then Hundred blades all day, again unsuspecting foe)
True SKILL!
Well actually i would say hammer takes quite a bit of skill if you use it to it’s max potential (cancelling any missing attacks by sheathing weapon, sword also has a pretty high degree of skill if you want to learn to hit final thrust)

The useless trait in defence tree replacing mercless hammer is there so i am prepared for the incoming nerf.
I am extremely upset with the gas mask. I LOVED it and worked so hard to get it. But then I found it had only been modeled to MALE charr, NOT female charr. So while it looks great on male charr, it has horrible clipping issues with female charr.
That sucks, hopefully Anet fixes it. Charr are getting the short end of the stick way too often here.
How is this different than any other LS update?
Queen Jubilee, Mad King Maze, Scarlet invasion, and now the Tower. Throw a bunch of mobs in one area, have everyone zerg. That recipe is getting old.
Why, the difference is that this time if you fall behind the zerg you can’t catch up! Hope you never have to go to the bathroom.
Really sounds like you are upset you cannot be lazy or play without having your brain turned on xD
And you can fall behind a zerg, heck 2-3 manning bosses and going through the levels is the most fun

Well just have to agree to disagree on that one. I know that a well played Mesmer, Thief, Engi, are stronger than a well played warrior.
This isnt a discussion about what profession is the strongest. Its about the relative ease to get to the skillfloor & cap. Its a common known fact that its relatively easy to be succesfull as warrior. Even at the top of the ladder.
Or it could be that im absurdly talented since im able to be succesfull on a “super difficult” profession i only played for a few weeks (yup that is probably it).
And saying class X is stronger is quite silly unless you come up with specific situations where they stronger. Are you talking about 1v1’s? WvW roaming? WvW blob play? SPvP teamfights? Spvp far point pushing? etc etc.
Well there are many different types of difficulties too when playing a class, i did not comment about how hard it is to do well on a warrior but how it is to master it. Warrior is defiantely one of the easier classes to get into and do well with ;P
Warrior is mostly reflex based(although you really need to watch your opponent aswell or see your slow kitten animations miss) while a different class focuses more on using your own buffs and such at right time instead of focusing on watching the opponent.
But i know how this goes, before we became a bit OP most people were saying ‘’warrior hard to play’’ and now that we are too strong ‘’warrior easiest class evar’’ and i see a future where we will be weak for a while again and bask in the cries of how hard warrior is to play xD
And ofcourse how hard a class is depends more on what weaponsets a person decides to use if you ask me :P
Warrior is not easy when compared to other classes, especially if you play the class to its full potential(cancelling missing hammer attacks/cancelling sword f1) and so forth.
But i would not blame if someone rolls their eyes if the see a warrior with both a rifle and greatsword, two weapons that are impossible to dmg any decent opponent with and as weaponsets do not support one another ;p
Now in PvE warriors are faceroll, since mobs will not dodge your harder to hit abilities

How come Warhammer in its late state did not lagg in 200+ battles? It also had better combatlogs, more skills, more cooldowns, higher aoe caps and is from 2008.
I have no idea how you can compare Gw2 combat to Warhammer and think they can be put into the same basket like that.
In gw2 if you shoot a projectile directed at a target and another enemy just happens to get in between that one and not your original target will get hit.
The combat system here makes it so your hits land on enemies that projectiles/slashes come across in real time like it would really make sense for it to work.
Tab target combat where your hits hit only the one person you are aiming at (projectiles will go through other opponents and ingore them) and so forth is much more demanding that the simplistic bad combat of Warhammer(it’s combat was a wow clone, yet a thousand times less responce simple and required much less ability to play your class, warhammer combat was probably the worst i have seen in an MMO)
You cannot compare the most simple combat in an MMO to date to a MMO that has a very complex way of handling it.
You just cant.
But ofcourse there are things ANet can do to improve the current problem vastly, and they will do what they can(why wouldnt they XD)

whatever class is added in the future i just hope it has no ’’shadow’’ in it’s name.
Shadow is probably the most corny overused word in fantasy and i would not be able to play a class with that word in it xD
These effects are the only reason to craft legendaries. If their effects become toggleable, then they will look like just valueless exotic skins. I hope anet doesn’t add such a senseless feature. If they add this someday, they will have to refund all 1600-1700 gold cost to legendary weapon owners.
People who would turn off legendary effects don’t care that you have a legendary in the first place. So if they turn them off, you aren’t losing anything. You won’t be losing the awe factor if it would never have been there in the first place.
If your enjoyment of the game comes from flaunting a sparkly, expensive weapon in the faces of people who don’t care, then you may need to reevaluate your priorities.
Some people don’t want to have these weapons shown on their screen, sometimes it’s just a bit too much.
Then as i say, anet must refund legendary owners’ 1600+ gold at first before making such a mistake.
These are vanity items, you can be jealous of other players’ items and you may not want to see them because of jealousy, but that doesn’t mean you can prevent hardcore players’ effort to get better visual items. This game is only about visuals when it comes to items. If effects are lost, or toggleable there’s no point to craft a legendary.
It’s like wanting rich guys with ferraris&lambos disappear from the streets just because you don’t want to see them anymore. People don’t craft these to just see these in their own screen. So toggleable effects = death of legendaries. An ascended weapon would be more than enough then.
I don’t care if they make it toggleable but they have to add an option to refund crafting cost/materials of legendaries for existing owners before adding this, or they have to buff their stats much much more to compensate the loss of visual effects. Legendaries must have an advantage or prestige somehow. Legendary weapons are the game’s main objective, get over it. More than 50% of regular or hardcore players just play to craft a legendary(or many more). You guys cry about rainbows and unicorns then you have to cry about legendary shortbow and other ugly ones, not all legendaries. Ugly effects need to be replaced with better ones, mustn’t be removed completely.

I wouldnt use the current legendary weapons even if i were given gold to do it, people who want to toggle it off are not jealous, if you are jealous you work to get what you are jealous off, i want to turn the particles(not the skins of the weapons themselfs, that is too much) off, because they are ugly and ruin an otherwise amazingly well and beautifully crafted game!

Also no disrespect to you because I’ve seen your vids as well and they are great, but I really don’t like the skullcrack > 100 blades build. I find it kinda cheap and “boring” to play, I did try it and yes it works really well, but Earthshaker just has a sort of “feel” to it that gives extra satisfaction.
I occasionally run a GS / sword + warhorn build as well which is pretty nice, I just have to have the GS though.
I am not using the skullcrack build anymore as it got very repetitive. I am using hammer and double sword(shield would be better but i enjoy offhand sword more)
I am just not posting my videos on forums atm xD And sorry to wilson over here for ever mentioning it, but i kinda felt i needed to in order to answer you ;p
And you are Guts as soon as you can kill a thousand players on your own, Guts could go for a hundred back when he was not quite as strong yet.

If you are not forced to see the effects, how will you ever know that guy 200 yards away has a legendary??? I don’t agree or disagree with turning off effects, but I understand why they’re there in the first place. This is a game of “how I look”. People who grind out mats or gold for the legendary need others to know they have it maybe?
Personally, the effects don’t bother me because I don’t see that many people with those weapons. Maybe if every other person had one I’d be annoyed. For the record I don’t have one myself and I go back and forth on whether or not I want one. IMHO I don’t find any of them have the “look” I’m going for.
Every 5th or so person has a legendary these days wherever i look and the effects are everywhere. People with legendaries can be as proud of their look as they want but some of the legendary effects are really just very ugly and everytime you come across them the reaction is… why do they have to look so bad.
It is not about having to see someone has a legendary, it is about just how ugly as sin they are.(i am mostly talking about the effects on the ground, i dont expect us to be able to toggle off the weapon itself)
Stupid idea, people worked for their legendaries to show their work, if you can turn it off there goes half the point.
While you are at it, why not make it so you can hide titles? Map achievements? What about certain types of armor? I find alot of them ugly, or certain races? Big characters block my vision alot more than legendaries, can I choose only to see Asuras? Why not just hide everything altogether?
With all the hateful and disgusting imagery and comparisons in the OP I can only assume it’s less about appearance and more about you not being able to get a legendary, and would like an option to not see them so you are not constantly reminded of something you can not achieve.

EDIT: If i use your broken logic i could easily say that you want people to have to look at the ugly effects of the legendaries because you have a desperate need for people to aknowledge your hard work grinding for an ugly skin, you need people to look at it and go ‘’oooh amazing’’ because of some need to be admired. Even though they most likely have the exact opposite reaction.
Base logic like that is easy to throw around and usually false.

I agree fully with this, the game is simply stunning. But the legendaries are ugly as sin and often just ruin the environment with their appearance.
Many people like way over the top effects and weapons that make no sense whatsoever (like shooting unicorns, wat)
But please Anet give us a toggle option for the footprints at least, people are leaking all over Tyria ^^

I run the same weapons and traits as you in sPvP but in WvW I use hammer / GS because a GS is part of my character’s “image” unfortunately. Have you ever used GS with hammer?
GS is not that good with hammer, the stun is not long enough to support GS and wirlwind is not as good of a defence as shield or sword offhand block for that matter (you need defence to go with the hammer)
If you want GS i would really just suggest mace as that weapon just compliments GS much more :P
And dont try to be Gutts, no one can live to that character. No one : p it is pointless to try, even rude to!
Please do not nerf killshot, it is the easiest ability to spot and dodge. I want to make a video of nothing but reflecting kill shots back at their users one day.

1 Atmosphere changes.
More adult ones that is, i want to see blood, creepier music and zones, dead mutilated bodies and skeletons and the list goes on. Dragons threaten the whole land they say but all i see is unconscious npcs waiting to be ressed.
And i am sure they can do it while still keeping the 12+ plus rating as there are games for teens that are a whole lot more brutal than guild wars 2
2 hide legendary weapon footprints option, they are very very ugly. Sorry Anet ^^
3 new weapons for classes/abilities/classes
4 music tied to specific zones and less legendary music, sometimes less is more and with guild wars 2 music it always is attempting to make it feel epic to the point it never is epic.
5bigger loot table that is more about rare cosmetic drops tied to specific zones/mobs/dungeon bosses. To spread out the pop a bit more instead of everyone running to the best farm spot this week.
If there is a new heavy class introduced i would like it to be the opposite of the guardian in the sense instead of holy magic you got dark magic.
Undead curses and such.

If you want something like that what you are typing her,e then play a Necromancer and suggest towards ANet, that they should improve this class in future by givign them new skilsl through addign new weapons like swords & greatswords.
Thats everything needed to make out of the Necromancer the counterpart for the Guardian.Not every melee class must be always a sword swinging character in a heavy armor.
You can just also have that dark theme swordsman with a necromancer if Anet would just improve that aspect of the Necro by adding new skilsl to them that favor more the real melee combat for Necromancers.
Necro would still not be heavy armour class ;P But yeah if they managed to give them the armor and weapons then yeah i agree ^^
We got a melee class that uses no magic=warrrior
We got a knight type heavy class that uses holy magic = guardian
The only heavy armor class remaining is really the unholy type unless they go for something really bizzare

Is something i greatly appreciate in Guild Wars 2. Thank you devs for making a game with amazing animation quality (general animations, hair flowing quite realistically while fighting, character limps while snared intead of just slower animations like in every other MMO out there, grass waving while projectiles pass over them. The list goes on and on)

I fully support being unable to res dead players while in combat. Heck while fighting is going on around you all together(as being out of combat is quite easy)

I know which one it is for me, i want when i kill someone that it is because i played better not because of some stupid buffs you get by running around with zergs (roamer mastery yeah sure when you get it by zerging)There is already TOO MUCH power creep in WvW with the guard buffs and bloodlust why would you want more?!

While I think the OP’s mastery is over the top, specifically the movement speed. I think your reaction is equally over the top.
As a roamer, fair fights are rare in the first place. When I exclusively solo’d I was getting maybe 5 hard 1v1 fights in an entire week of gaming 3-6 hours a night, most of my fights I would have to take on multiple people for the challenge. I now play in a roaming group and it is the same thing. There is so few roamers, even fewer skilled roamers, so you end up spending 99% of your fights fighting against silly odds because that is where the challenge is. Power creep has no impact in those situations because 1) it wasn’t fair to start with and 2) the game coddles players so much in this game that no amount of power creep is going to help most of them anyways.
Are the WXP guard buffs too much, perhaps but I am willing to accept them as they are because there is nothing to spend your points on unless you want to use siege. More powerful siege is just as much power creep as extra stats.
In my opinion the wxp needs an overhaul to make it more tree like so you are forced into making choices. Then make siege bunker a 115 point ability with 30% siege damage reduction and immunity to its CC/conditions. Make it only available to those who do not use any of the siege masteries. Then I am fine with stat buffs being removed.
I will admit my reaction is over the top, i have a very low tolerance for things i find stupid haha.
And yes weather you find a good opponent or not is all on luck, but just because things are not fair to begin with and proper fights are not coming your way all the time it does not mean you should make them impossible. I do not understand the mentality of ‘’it is not perfect, so it is np to make it worse’’

There are tons of games out there that give stats and more stats and make stats the decisive point in PvP, Gw2 could be the first one to take a different step so yes, it would be progress and something to aim for instead of falling down the path of every other MMO pvp and why the PvP in those games sucks
If you want stats to carry you instead of your own ability to play pick up any MMO on the market right now and BAM you got it.
except the fact that stats are already influencing the game and imbalance between professions creates a greater gap.
masteries are ludicrous and encourage a stupid play style of ppl sitting on arrow carts, cannons and other siege weapons built in open field.
we don’t even have skins to fight for…
Then support more skins and the removal of all the bonus stat stuff instead of asking for more of it.
