Because we can’t be angry about both?
I hope ANET makes the ambients there into friendly critters that are unkillable, like they are in every other city map. That makes more sense.
The new trait system (from April, not the September NPE) gives veterans of the game a distinct advantage over new players, because veterans largely have most of the professions grandfathered in with the majority of traits (all but 5) unlocked. This is a clear imbalance, and people who wonder if traits are even necessary… man. They’re meant to be part of build customization. That should be appalling to anyone from ANET who might read this.
Also, anyone who thinks that doing map complete of Lornar’s Pass for one kitten adept trait is okay, I think is seriously impaired.
I’ll post here what I posted in the official thread:
But let me just point this out:
If I’d started playing in April of this year and I had all of the characters I do today with their current spread of traits unlocked, it would have cost me 473g and 3960 skillpoints. Or, even suggesting that I purchased only half of the unlocks, and I did the rest of them organically, that’s 236g50s and 1980 skillpoints. It boggles the mind.
Anyone here have 2000 skill points?
If I understand this correctly content to be completed for the daily will be more personalized.
We have no idea. For all we know everyone will have the same dailies to do, the same as it is today. There was nothing in the info that suggested departure from this approach.
But you’re wrong there, not everyone gets the same dailies now, as someone pointed out above, a person with a lower level character had a different set of dailies than a person with a higher level character.
I missed the post you’re referring to, but I’ve never once seen different dailies on my two accounts. They’ve always been identical, and I did dailies on both accounts regularly for months this year.
My wife has a new account that gets different dailies than her main account. If you have 80s on both accounts you’ll never notice it, because you’ll get the same dailies. But she showed me.
She got fractal daily on one account and veteran slayer for the account that didn’t have an 80. Also her monthlies were different.
My friend and I both have 80’s and we occasionally get a different daily or monthly.
Huh, interesting. Today I learned, etc. Thanks for the information, both.

I guess they won’t do anything until their profits take a hit. Just stop buying gems with cash until they fix what they have broken. Just like the gem-exchange fiasco. You think they made the “custom” option because they realized they made a mistake? No, they made it because people went berserk with anger and it reached various gaming websites. They got panicked about their profit and had a fix in about – what was it, two weeks?
This, on the other hand, doesn’t make enough noise to be really considered as a problem. This thread has been running for 8 months with players actually making great suggestions as to how to fix it. The only response we got was a Rep/Dev telling us “tl;dr plux summary k lolz” and doing nothing about it.
Oh, and apperantly they have been “looking into it” for 3 months now:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Game-Updates-Traits/page/38#post4318990
There are many of us who haven’t bought gems because of the changes to traits. The problem is that a lot of players are veterans who only did a single novelty run-through of the system and had enough gold and skill scrolls on hand that it didn’t seem terribly cumbersome. The forum would’ve exploded if they hadn’t grandfathered anyone in. It would’ve made the gem conversion thing seem like a friendly walk in the park. But because a lot of people weren’t inconvenienced by the changes immediately, it sort of dampened the outcry. I mean, I didn’t really get around to the changes until about a month after the feature patch even hit.
The laurel merchant doesn’t have the Tequatl wings. They (and the shattered holographic wings) were the only meta reward from S1 that didn’t come back.
when is the expansion that everyone is talking about coming out?
when can i turn in the “found belongings” from the fall of lion’s arch achievement….i got 150 of em.
and when will i be able to get the TEQ wing back piece!!??
i was absent throughout the fall of lion’s arch, was super busy T_T…..
You can’t turn in the belongings anymore. The expansion is speculation. No idea on the wings, though those happened months before the fall of Lion’s Arch.
And then I think of how duplicitous it was to emphasize the quote below in the blog post about traits, rather than relaying that the tiers being unlocked for free is utterly meaningless, and there’s no way to dive in when you don’t have any traits.
Once you reach the appropriate level, we want you to be able to dive right into the system and start playing around with it, so you’ll unlock each tier for free!
The hilarious thing about this is that it really calls attention to how bad the system actually is. At level 30 I get this message telling me that Adept traits are unlocked and then I look at my trait interface only to discover that I have two traits unlocked, neither of which are in the lines that I’ve invested in. That message just pours salt in the wound.
That message is why I’m not fully prepared to accept the blog post about the new daily and monthly changes at face value. I just really don’t trust them to implement good systems anymore.
Most likely what this change will do is make progression even slower and earning laurels even harder along with even less daily rewards. Every change ANET has made to gameplay has resulted in slowing progression to date without exception.
Wrong. leveling is now faster after the changes back in Sept..
With the exception of the trait system, I agree: leveling is much faster in a variety of ways. (The trait system makes things a lot slower, unfortunately.)
Actually the trait system change massively slowed down progression. It used to be you can purchase a single book for every single trait on a tier for cheap. Now it costs far more gold to purchase each trait individually along with the cost in skill points.
That’s literally what the post you’re quoting says.
I’d like a VIP area that’s server specific. You know, like the whole game used to be, but for gems.
Just log in and see for yourself. It’s free.
I got a new computer and I don’t want to download anything that I’m not going to play that’s why I made the post
But, ultimately, you’re the only one who’ll know if it’s fun for you to play. If you don’t play it, you can go ahead and remove it from your computer. That’s what “uninstall” is for.
Just log in and see for yourself. It’s free.
It sort of does work that way, just in a teamwork sort of sense. Your friend can’t go afk while you do the kills for the heart quest, but a group of five people will kill something 5 times as fast as a solo player.
I guess I just don’t agree that your contribution should directly influence their heart bar.
Someone already took the precious few minutes it must have taken them to exam the new ‘monthly’ rewards calendar and figured out what you get by day and totaled it up, it’s in the other thread where people are kittening about the new system. The only thing they couldn’t do was determine how many laurels you would get out of the end of month box. That’s what I meant by reading the blog post and looking at the screen shots, it shows you the daily log-in rewards, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to do the math based upon the screen shot. The only 2 things missing is how many laurels are in the daily log in bag(that you get on the day it is given) and the total in the end of month box. If you absolutely need to know how many laurels you’re getting a month, well then you’ll probably have to wait and see, bust since it’s every 28 days and not by calendar month you get 13 ‘monthly’ rewards per calendar year…might be a net gain, might be a net loss or it just might be a wash.
As pointed out previously, the end result is exactly what this poster is asking about. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to comprehend what Iason wrote.
I’m incredibly curious about if we’re losing out on rewards overall, and if the laurel vendor will be changed up at all, as well.
I don’t understand why you’re acting like this thread is utterly unnecessary and that all these questions are either unimportant or have already been answered. This is key information to know if this system is worth celebrating or if it’s an underhanded way to stunt progression even more than it already has been stunted.
Or maybe you could answer it yourself by going back and reading the entire article and examining each of the posted pictures…which give you and idea of how the rewards are distributed with the exception of the ‘month’ end reward box.
“an idea” of how rewards are distributed is not the same as reality. Maybe try reading the main post of this thread and then compare it with the article to see how many of the questions are actually answered transparently.
I mean, the blog posts for new features often conveniently leave out the downsides to the changes.
because I can’t share any of the kills with him
This quote is why people think that he’s saying that kills aren’t shared.
The new unlocks system doesn’t affect newbies because they are TOO NEW to know they should care. They’ve got plenty of other stuff to learn about the game.
This is not about newbies. It’s about veterans. Please keep the arguments about how the trait system affects veterans.
I’m doing my part to ensure that newbies know they should care, because they’re getting ripped off. “Too new to know any better” is not a valid argument. This system affects everyone, new and veterans, and I will not adjust my arguments simply because you find them to be inconvenient.
I know, I know, you need them to enter dungeons as a group. And coordinating groups in WvW, guild missions, etc.
But I’m talking about open world pve content.
If a friend makes a new toon, and I decide I want to help him, we make a party and go to the same map.Now because of the current system, all I can do is watch while he completes each heart on his own, because I can’t share any of the kills with him, or any of the loot I picked up. The only thing I could probably do is help him kill a mob that might be too dificult alone.
All that talk about being able to join my low level friends because of auto scaling seems like a waste. Actually, even if I decided to make a new toon to play together, we would still be each doing our own things.
So I repeat, what’s the point of parties?
Party chat. Also, nobody owns kills, unless you’re one-shotting things, you can both kill the same things and get experience and loot from them. In any game with parties, you’re both doing your own things, but coordinating things together, so how is this different?
Knowing this would allay a lot of fears, I feel. If they’re not answering, it’s probably because there will be price changes at the laurel vendor and/or we won’t have access to the same amount.
Not sure. But if it really is a problem, you can gift your friend the gold so they can get the gems required and obtain them that way. The conversion took me a little over 3g
I would do that but he probably wont log in for at least a couple months :/
The usual explanation is that unique, you can only have X of, items can’t be gifted because they don’t have a way to check if the recipient has it or the maximum number allowed.
But you can gift the santa hat, they are both unique head pieces
Yeah, skins haven’t previously been made not-giftable. It usually only applies to things that are account unlocks like finishers or bank tabs.
I was mapping tonight and heard someone in map chat being advised to buy a trait linked to a bugged event (devourer queen). As I always do, I pointed out that traits used to cost less than 3g to unlock all of them.
There also used to be a lot less gold in the market. You can make 1 gold quite quickly in this game now even if you’re a newbie. 1g isn’t that big of a deal anymore.
My newbie friend had about 10 gold in their first couple weeks of playing just from going around doing random stuff they came across. And she was around level 20 at that point so she has plenty of time to accumulate more gold as she gets into the higher level areas and starts getting better drops and doing more profitable activities.
If the game needs a gold sink to remove this “excess gold in the market”, perhaps it should be implemented at the expense of the veteran players, rather than the new ones.
You’re missing the point. The point is that the game gave access to all of the traits for under 3g for a year and a half, then when this new system was implemented (to make traits easier to understand, ostensibly), the sliver of information we were given about it crowed about the fact that trait tiers are now freely unlocked, so that you can “dive right in” to the system. It failed to mention that the new system would be linked to buggy, level-inappropriate, boring or time-intensive content. It failed to mention the increase in cost would also require an additional 360 skillpoints and 43g for the same thing that previously cost (and I really can’t overstate this) less than 3g.
So, yeah, newbies on their first characters and veterans on their last might enjoy running through this absurd list of unlocks once or twice, you let me know how your friend is enjoying it on her fourth or fifth character.
And it would be swell if the personal story could be in the proper order and without the missing chunks. Otherwise it seems hardly worth shelling out for.
Hey, Ms. Grey? Any chance you guys could merge the 700 topics about this “reorganization” as well as the ones about the new daily/monthly changes?
So there you go – archived forums are now read-only. Really Anet, what’s the point?!
Archived forums have always been read only. There wouldn’t be much point to archiving them if they were not.
The Race forums need to be unarchived, people were still actively posting in them.
There are a lot of sub-forums that were active but still got archived. Anet is basically throwing all the books into one shelf, rather than having them divided up by genre. This is such a tone-deaf move on Anet’s part, I really don’t understand how anyone can defend this mess.
At least it’s not in the game this time.
I was mapping tonight and heard someone in map chat being advised to buy a trait linked to a bugged event (devourer queen). As I always do, I pointed out that traits used to cost less than 3g to unlock all of them. The other person responded that since s/he had all the classes grandfathered in, s/he preferred the new system, since it allows for retraiting on the fly, for free. You know, if nobody was grandfathered in; if the veterans had been gated by this system, it would’ve been fixed within two weeks. Multiply the outcry against the commander tag prices by a thousand. This thread would have been 100 pages before the first week was out.
I really want to love the game again. I do.
Since the “Pumpkin Carver” title saw a return last Halloween, will we see be able to acquire the “Toymaker” titles as well this Wintersday? I’d really like to have those titles available for my characters.
I doubt it, since Emissary of the Mad King hasn’t reappeared. Sadly!
Uh, I’m showing a ranger CDI thread there, and have been for several hours.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/cdi/Collaborative-Development-Ranger-Profession
Is this a different one?
Well I did not think GW2 could get any more casual… legendary weapons just for logging into the game… wow…
The actual daily changes seem good, but the log in rewards are just sad…
I agree Zudet, being rewarded for working for an item feels more authentic than being given items for logging in.
I hate feeling like a sack of potatoes.
Don’t hand me a donut just for waking up in the morning. I want to earn that donut by completing my days work. But that’s just me.
I’ll have Antara’s free donut. Thanks!
If we are still getting daily laurels and monthly laurels in the same amount as before and this system is adding more on top of what we are already getting then I am all about it. IF this new way reduces random gem shop daily drops or monthly drops are altered, then I will be ticked.
Well said, and I totally agree.
ponders
I don’t do dailies / monthlies for AP personally. So the change to the cap doesn’t bother me one way or the other (I’m no where close)
My concern is the daily laurels and 10 laurel addition from the monthlies. That’s 40 laurels a month (potentially). My concern is seeing a decrease in that due to the new system. That’s all that would really bother me.
“So we’ve moved the original rewards from daily and monthly achievements, thrown in some new items for good measure, and combined it all into a new bonus system that rewards players just for logging in to the game. The first time you log in each day, you’ll receive a new bonus reward. The items on this new reward track are not only a combination of the previous daily and monthly achievement rewards but also some additional items we’ve added…”
To all those with concerns about the current rewards, this paragraph would seem to be very misleading if they do reduce the number of laurels. It says nothing about subtracting the original rewards, just moving them.
I hope this isn’t one of those changes that looks nice on paper, but is really terrible and cumbersome in practice. As long as the cap is at least 15k, though, and with the information we have right now, it seems to be positive. I should really trademark “cautiously optimistic” for my forum usage, at this point.
The exemplary and stickied thread, “I have a question about the economy” has now been archived with the unfortunate loss of the Black Lion Trading Company forum. Is there any chance of getting that thread fished out of the abyss?
Check the Wayback Machine – maybe it never went away, just resides on a different plane
Oh, it’s totally still readable on the archive, I was just hoping that maybe it could still be interactive. I know, it’s silly to even suggest it.

There are issues with mixing the meshes of different armor types.
Geez, guys calm down. The LS wasn’t that great that it’s worth the amount of whining in this thread.
Sorry, but in my opinion gw2 would be far worse if they would cut or skip the nice festival-events like Wintersday or Halloween just for the sake of the LS. I’m sure if they did this, the forum would be flooded with hate-threads…
Let’s just give the devs the benefit of the doubt, that they will make better decisions for the gameplay and content in the new year.Yeah, because they’ve made such excellent decisions this year. I totally agree that it’s terrible that they skip festival content in favor of living story, though. Like SAB and Dragon Bash.
they never have to skip festival event it can come a weak after LS or even along with LS considering the festival event is same as last year with minor changes, what they did was to use festival as excuse to take another break and end year with unfinished ls season, that is lazy kind of work.
Sorry, my sarcasm font must’ve been bugged there. We are in agreement, but I’m pointing out that there’s a flaw in the argument that it’s great that they’re not skipping over festival content, since they actually are skipping over festival content- Dragon Bash and SAB were both stated as being incompatible with the storyline of the living story.
My deadpan is too dead sometimes.
Blaeys, megaservers aren’t content.
I would like my Charr-muffs to cover all four ears, please.

I do not understand why ArenaNet are deliberately trying to kill this game!
Almost ZERO content has been added since release, and any content that is added is either finished within an hour or removed.I do not understand why you feel the need to deliberately post false statements!
If he’s going to argue that there’s no content, the least you could do is back up your response. Cause’ right now you’re going to lose this battle my friend.
Technically it’s up to the one stating there’s a lack of content to post their evidence as they’re the one who made the argument first.
My friend, you are not diving deep enough into this argument. Look forward not back.
Yeah… Still doesn’t change the fact that it’s not on him to provide the evidence. Arnath stated that almost zero content was added without provide any proof and mtpelion challenged it.
If you want, I can state that the state the Earth is flat, have you challenge this, and then say that you must prove me wrong.
You can’t prove that something doesn’t exist, how would you do that exactly? It is up to you to prove that there has been a substantial amount of content added.
Like this:
In the first 2 years of WoW Blizzard released:
8 new dungeons
5 new raids
10 new zones
1 new race
500+ quests
6 PvP maps
2 PvP modes
10 new levels
20+ new skills
50+ new talents
LFg system
Cross server system (first of its kind ever)
4 FestivalsWoW is considered the golden standard of MMO’s, your job would be to show that GW2 does indeed release a similar amount of content. (Hint: it doesn’t).
Ahh yes the old use a logical fallacy to end the argument when you lose….
Here I’ll start for you:
Number of zones added: 3*
New zones are 1/3 the size or smaller than original game zones
Number of new races: 0
Number of new classes: 0
Number of new legendary’s: 0
Number of new dungeons: 1
1 dungeon also removed
Number of new raids: 0
Number of new quests(DE’s): ~50
LFG Added
Fractals Added
New PvP modes: 1
Removed from rotation
New PvP maps: 3
One removed, one removed from rotation
Number of LS episodes: 29*
**22 removedNote: This was over 2.5 years as opposed to WoW’s Two years
Would you say that GW2 released a reasonable amount of content in those 2 years as compared to WoW?
Sorry but those items are not the definitive list of what counts as content. Those of us playing since release have experienced a wealth of content rather than the argued “almost zero”.
Wait.. hold up My friend. I’d like an explanation of what you define as “content”. I’ve been playing since release my friend, and I do not feel that there has been a wealth of content. Prove me wrong.
You know all of that which we did during season one? That was content. Content is more than just that list you posted. Whether permanent or temporary, content is still content. The Nightmare Tower, Scarlet’s Playhouse, Queen’s Pavillion, Assault on LA, and so on were all content. The story instances of season two were all content as well. The statement that there has been “almost zero” content is false.
I included all of those in the list under LS episodes.. Unless you are arguing that they weren’t removed… if so please point out where I can play them?
Woudl the contents of the feature packs be considered ‘content’? if so then they seem to be missing from your list.
They’re not content, they’re features. It’s different. Quality of life and bug fixes.
Unless they were prepared to make utterly transparent statements about what exactly this would be funding, I wouldn’t be interested.
This is kind of the opposite of yours, but my obscure names have mostly been available. I did manage to snag “Khaleesi Eirsdottir,” as a joke. I’m just happy I got my Charr named Pouncy Silverkit.
I want to love this game again. I think that’s why it’s so galling when people say that if I don’t like the changes, I should just leave, or that I am a troll, or that I’m just trying to spread hate, or that I’m whining because I’m a complainer, or that only disgruntled people come to the forum.
I have a lot of positive things to say. I’ve said positive things, many, many times. I’ve tried to be optimistic. I give credit where it’s due. I don’t hate the game or the team. I actually want to spend time in Tyria again. It is because of my previous enjoyment in the game that I am so disheartened by these changes.
I doubt this will make a difference to the next person to come in here and bash me for being an entitled little idiot or whatever other insults it’s apparently reasonable for people who aren’t me to throw around, but I still felt it needed to be said.
1. Fix the trait system by reducing the cost of traits to be the same as the tiers were prior to April.
2. Bring back SAB or offer refunds to people who bought the infinite continue coin from the gemstore. Or both.
3. Fix the TP sell interface so that I can match my own prices again.
I was flipping karka shells for a pretty steady profit prior to the April feature patch, and I had about 5 stacks on hand/for sale when the price dropped by 3s each. (I’m not much of a power trader, obvs.) It hasn’t recovered, because Karka Queen is on a schedule and drops quite a lot.
I frenzy-bought up sigils prior to the April patch when the changes were announced.
Used two super axe skins before the wardrobe was mentioned… I wish I’d been more frugal, now. In my defense, the super skins weren’t terribly popular and were quite common at the time.
You mentioned my name! Although I’ve seen about 3 or 4 of us around here, so no idea which one in particular you mean. if by some serious error of judgement you meant me, I’d be happy for the vote, but am not eligible.
My own vote of confidence would go with Vayne, despite his ineligibility. While he has the overwhelming reputation of White Knight, he isn’t blind with it, and i’ve seen some fantastic posts from him both praising and criticising Anet, and it certainly nice to see someone who tries to see the bright side.
Nike, Ashen, Mystic and Lyshtenbird also immediately strike me as people who would be very good at the role. Even after that, there have been many great posters around who I think would be really good at he role. For the most part I see no shortage of worthy candidates, and provided Anet tailor this system to be truly meaningful,a nd it works like that, there are a lo of people who would really do this initiative, and both Anet and the community, justice.
Very well stated, and exactly why you’re on my list- you are indeed the one I intended. I’m sorry to hear you’re not eligible.
How come my name isn’t on there? :P
I know this was in jest, but the answer is genuine oversight. Updating my post to add you.
I’m flabbergasted to see my name on there; I certainly have no special expertise to offer.
Mostly, though, you wouldn’t know this: I suck at paperwork deadlines. Let me post what I feel like when I feel like it and I might be prolific or I might go off and do my own thing for a few days. Make it a regular reporting requirement and I’ll just flake out or get resentful and stressed
I looked at what was involved and realized it just wouldn’t suit my low energy, even though I now have lots of free time, have no intention of moving 3000 miles to try to work for ANet, believe I could be objective, and know I could handle the confidentiality requirements. I am amazed I can manage my low-end guild officer duties as it is; our GM had to sort of trick me into accepting an officer position when we founded the guild.
As to infractions, I don’t know if it counts but I have gotten one warning (made me sick to my stomach when it came) when trying to be helpful to warn someone she might have been hacked, because I named her character as doing shady things in game. I might be disqualified right there!
So thanks for the encouragement, but I won’t be applying. I hope some of those on your list do step up for it, though.
I totally get this. I had to keep checking to see if you were me with your explanation, except you’re so much more diplomatic and well-spoken overall. I hope you don’t take my recommendation as pressure. I mean it as a compliment.
I also want to note to everyone that if I haven’t included your name, it doesn’t mean I don’t like you. Lots of people I like and agree with are people that I don’t feel would do well in this position, and I might very well be wrong. It happens frequently. And there are quite a few people I’ve overlooked by mistake (my original list has nearly doubled), and by no means do I know everyone on the forum extensively. I’m not out to make anyone feel badly.
Thanks for helping to keep this positive, folks! I really appreciate it.
What a silly way to go about things.
I’ve been an admin and mod on a lot of sites and you never…EVER….let the posters pick or influence your choice of mods (specialists). That just ends in disaster, usually based on little more than forum favoritism, and really all it says to me is the mods and admins here must be to lazy to be bothered.
They should have already taken notice of who posts/trolls/contributes/argues/etc/etc and promote such people given their demeanor and/or knowledge. That’s part of being an admin/ mod or PR. This should have been done already without our knowledge.
The community knows who to go for when it comes to lore, or the market, or improving my terribad Guardian build. Why don’t the mods?
“Clearer path of communication…”…kitten. That’s their job…they get PAID to sort that yet the community is being played to do that job for free with the smokescreen of having some sort of “specialist” nomination or “shinie!!!!” title on the forum.
Lazy.
I have my votes but I’d never ask such people to do Anets job for free.
You misunderstand. I’m not asking anyone to do anything. Nor am I trying to start a vote. But there are people who must be wondering if they should even consider applying, and I’d like to encourage them.
I know there is the potential for toxicity, but I’m hopeful that with the help of the moderators, we can keep this largely positive. I’ve already reported one post that clearly violates the intention of this thread.
What’s wrong with the information?
I’m all for Behellagh,Wanze, Mystic, and Grimm.
(BTW: idk if this counts as naming and shaming or not since it’s positive, at least for the time being).
I will report for moderation ANY post that’s attempting to shame anyone. I will also edit my list to remove the names of anyone who doesn’t want to be mentioned. I strongly hope that this thread can be moderated effectively, rather than locked, if need be.
1. I would make a terrible forum specialist, and I think even people who often agree with my sentiments would agree with that. I’m not applying.
2. This is not the place for sarcasm or insincerity. Only genuine commentary, please.
3. If you want to rant about flaws you see with the concept, have at it- in your own thread, kindly.
4. Please list people you feel would be solid choices for the Forum Specialist program.
Thanks!
My list, just off the top of my head (and I have no idea who is or is not in the US):

I know I’m missing a few people, and- with the exception of Nike- this list is in no particular order. If any of you are considering applying to this program, consider this my vote of confidence!

But you can control who is in your group, so… It’s pretty much less random. I’m plenty disgruntled, but this just seems petty.
To derail this completely: If you create a portal you know what will happen. If you accept a random groupinvite, you don’t.
If I create a portal, my nemesis could run up on the path and use it and there’s nothing at all to stop that. This is not derailing, this is a serious flaw with your reasoning. But, whatevs. I’ve got my own issues with ANET. If this one gets under your skin, have at it. I’m just not going to agree that it’s really a big deal either way. And I certainly don’t feel like it’s any sort of grand statement about money.
Honestly, the RNG nodes implemented after the discussion about RNG initiated by John Smith is more of a statement, in my mind. Anyway, I’ll leave you to it. I’ve said my bit, here, and we’re not going to change each other’s minds.

im wondering why it doesnt show a comparison from what you are wearing with the once you have in your wardrobe. i have 2 coats in my wardrobe and it just tells me what it is but no other status for what level it is, the pros and cons, etc.
also, why the hell cant i sell them on the lion trading shop? i can sell them to just a normal NPC seller.Okay, you’re not reading what I’m saying.
The wardrobe doesn’t have equipment in it.
It has cosmetic appearance items in it.
There are no stats on the items, because they’re not real items. They’re just a paintbrush to change what your armor looks like. If you click on the top panel where it says “Hero: Wardrobe” you’ll get to a menu that has an option for equipment, and that’s where you can see what you have in your inventory to equip.
The two coats you see in your wardrobe are just to change the appearance of what you’re wearing.
I really don’t know how to make this more clear.
You can’t sell some items on the trading post after you’ve used them. It will say “Soulbound” or “Account Bound” near the bottom when you hover over the item. Some of these items can’t be sold to vendors, either.
ok, now i understand it. sorry that i didnt clearly understood you before. i just started to play this game after a very long break and then i have to see these changes.
