I’m about to hit level 80 for my warrior for the first time and was wondering what Karma Armor I should go for ? Up to this point I’ve been using Clerics armor which has healing stats that keep me alive.
What is the best Karma Armor for taking abuse and survivability ? Something with healing stats like the Cleric Armor would be nice,I just don’t know where to look if such Armor even exist in A Karma set.
Buy gear every 5 levels (or even more frequently) from the trading post. If you do it right, it costs you just a few copper.

Thanks for that link Solandri.9640.
Seems the best way to go when leveling up is to buy and sell at the trading post and save karma for level 80 like you and others advised.
Again thanks for the information.
Appreciate the information and thank you.
I’m just now discovering the trading post and man is it helpful.I figured out how to buy and sell items using the trading post but I’m having a little trouble figuring out how to purchase full sets of different types of armor.
So far all I’ve been able to pull up,as far as full armor sets go,is the chainmail armor,so I’m probably wording the different armor classes wrong.
What is the best wording for pulling up different armor sets using the trading post ?
For example,if I’m able to buy scale mail armor from the trading post, would I type “Scale mail armor” in the search box ? and if I did this would it show an entire scale mail set for sale ?
Also,is Karma bought armor available at the trading post ? I did a search for the pit fighter armor but didn’t come up with anything. If Karma bought armor is available, once again,I’m probably wording it wrong or simply to low of a level at the present moment.
Thanks in advance for those who decide to answer my complete noob question and apologies for those who find this thread a waste of time lol.
I agree with the above. On my first character, I didn’t realize what the level 80 karma gear would cost in karma, and I had blown most of my karma leveling on gear from the hearts and crafting mats, haha. The next time around I saved all my karma and it made getting the exotic gear at 80 much easier. You can survive just fine with the drops and the occasional trading post buy.
Edit: however, if you simply like the looks of some of the heart sets, go ahead and buy it. I mean you can’t give up looking cool, lol.
Yeah,I only play one character so I’m thinking about spending the karma on armor sets that look cool and have decent stats.
Grinding for level 80 gear will keep me active.
Thanks for your input.
Appreciate the feedback.
I’m currently around the 16 level area and noticed that some armor with perks is available using karma points.I’ve also noticed every 5 levels up chainmail armor is available with better stats as you advance.Should I go with the Karma bought armor starting at level 16 or should I go with the chainmail armor every 5 levels up ?
Just noticed light brown particles coming from my character when he runs. Not sure what it is since I still consider myself a noob at level 34.
Are these strange lightbrown particles that come from my character as he runs some type of disease or curse ? If so how do I go by fixing this affliction ?
Thanks for the reply. It’s good that the option to solo and join guilds is available.
I’m only level 19 at the moment and made it that far soloing.I was wondering how far can you level soloing in the world of Guild Wars 2 ?
Is it possible to make it to 80 without a guild ?
This was posted in one of many threads concerning the issue at hand.
Hey guys we’re looking into this issue at the moment. In the meantime could you guys provide some Network Diags for us to check out?
To do this please follow the steps below:

Not sure if I’m posting this thread in the right section,I’m still quite the noob.
I’m getting disconnected all of a sudden and when I reconnect I get disconnected shortly after.
My Home World is Darkhaven, population very high. Can I connect to another world ? and if so should I pick a world where the population isn’t high or does it make a difference ?
The disconnects started after the recent update so I’m thinking this could be the reason for the sudden disconnects.
The same type of problem occurs on dc universe after updates so I’m thinking this could be a typical mmo problem.
Thanks for the feedback.
I pretty much set my mouse up for movement.I have a the mouse with the buttons on
the side so I assigned jump and dodge to those. As far as the keyboard
goes,I use the number keys to attack.Any Veterans out there care to share their mouse
and keyboard layout ? If there’s a better mouse and keyboard layout available for
better gameplay I would appreciate the info….thanks and yes I’m a noob lol.
Ahhh Okay.Thanks.
Thanks for the replies.I see where you can assign moves to buttons on the mouse so I will do that.Thanks.
For some reason when I step inside the Bandithaunt Caverns I lag to the point I can’t
do anything but die.I’m fairly new to Guild Wars so I haven’t gotten far but so far this
is the only area I lag to the point I can’t do anything.Has anyone else experienced this ?
I’m new to mmo’s and was wondering do people mainly use the keyboard and mouse
when playing guild wars or is there a controller used ? if a controller is used what type
of controller is it ?
