1. The one thing that Anet tries to do, is make us mush together…work together…blah blah

But they go about it wrong. We don’t just want to be together we want to be together with out Real Life Friends, Guild Mates, Guys on your VoIP’s FIRST, then anybody else is welcome to come. This is why Teq. needs to be instanced. Teq. will need a weekly cool down. Teq. will also need to have the amount of participants reduced to a smaller number.

2. Tequatl’s rewards are not tied to a high enough reward to make people come back over and over.

First fix all the Activities (aka Sanctum Sprint, Keg Brawl, so on and so on)so that you can run them with Guild Mates and then have Tequatl’s failure tie into the ability for your guild to do these events all week long…yes that means if you don’t get it done the dailies can’t be done….The sooner after Teq. is downed by your Guild the sooner you can run Sanctum Sprint or whatever is up that day…and with only guild mates if you choose …maybe even having tourney’s in the guild …

Second Guarantee 1 ascended weapon so at least one person out of the group can get one. Maybe make it so if you have got one last week this week you can help get it done get all reg loot but not a chance on the ascended weapon. Also, everybody who comes gets 1 guaranteed Exotic. Then all other loot as it was.

Third Introduce a new arena called Guild Arena once a Raid like Tequatl is completed each week this arena will open up for you to play in, with a few of your closest hommies.

Got that right!….now whats wrong with Usurping them? Why can’t Anet 1up Wow and make something that has traditional value while introducing there own style and flare to it?

I agree with your point, that renumeration for outstanding efforts should be also outstanding. If you can craft end game gear in 10 days like I did, so no one will spend months in raids.

But what is more interesting to me is to use lfr system for a raid, its gonna be much fun for me.
No fun with Teq, when boss is scaled to 80, some 100 slacking nubs lying dead and waiting for rez or for the end of event to receive their silver and karma .

That’s not a very good reason to oppose the idea.

Here there is no point in half the stuff they add to the game, yet here it gets added and you say nothing to it on the contrary.
If there is no point in adding something, lets do away with Plush Moto Backpack Cover’s, Bunny Ear’s, and Fuzzy Quaggan Hat’s and everything else on the Style tab of the gem store.
While we are at it we can get rid of all the musical instruments and boom boxes.
Lets not forget the toys like Kites and Riding Broom(which is a cosmetic mount all unto itself and yet none of the naysayers disagreed with its introduction).
Hey those Mini Pets they have no useful purpose to game so lets nix them as well. There is no real reason in having 50 different sword Skins or armor skins, we all can use the same skin on all weapons and armor since they all do the same thing anyway, so get rid of all that clutter.
Achievements, why would you need those you have nothing to show that you done anything in the game now, so let get rid of those, and since they are gone lets get rid of the Title’s as well.
Your version of the game is very very boring. Thanks for taking away a need to even play the game.

In the Netherlands do they have Bank Cards, where its the same as writing a check? Or do they have Prepaid Debit Cards, that you go into a store and the cards are usually near the register and when you purchase the card you add exactly the amount you want to use on the card and they load that amount to that card and when its spent you can just trash the card or go back and have them reload more money onto the card?

If you’re stuck at 1 file left, 0.0kb/s downloading, and leaving the launcher running for hours does nothing, try this:

In the top-right corner, click one of the flags to change the language (I used German).

The launcher will re-start and (hopefully) begin downloading more. For me, it had some 10,000+ files yet to be downloaded, a few 100mb’s of stuff.

Once it’s done, switch back to English.

100% done, Play button is clickable.

How about you take notice to the fact, that they do not give a bonus amount when you buy gems themselves, cause they want the single items purchased to be of the same value.
At the same time notice that items on the gems store that you can buy in bulk quantities, do in fact have a discount for purchasing the bulk item. This is why they will not give you a bonus just for the purchase of gems.

Is giving buffs to all the players of your world who are not in Spvp.
Its funny when I see posts talking about “I was gathering and I got and extra node” and the person does not know the reason they got it.

Power of the Mists is there already doing this job.
I don’t think I would like to go to a major city every day for a combat buff that’s is only last one hour. Now if they added jumping puzzle’s and stuff to do as dailies that would make me go to the major cities more. Not to mention actually letting you do something personal inside the (Home Instance) like hanging trophies and adding useful Npc’s and stuff like that…maybe those npc’s could give a few dailies that give bonus achievement points and raises your reputation in that major city. Give the reputation ranks much the same as the gear with only being able to achieve Legendary Rank from your Home City and thus getting the best reputation rewards from raising the rank.

One thing I would have liked, would have been drop down menu’s that once you select which path in that menu more drop down options would display and you could click on them to add them into the description. That would be your Bold Print and any thing you need to add would just be under that.
With Limits once these items was selected. So if you Select Fractals Level 20 and in the drop down from that you select AR @ 20 and Level 80’s Only and you typed fast & furious in your description, individuals or groups not meeting the AR & Level 80 reqs. can not join you and they will see the listing as greyed out since they do not meet the reqs. Also If AC “PATH 2”(path 2 would be selected in AC’s drop down listings) is the listing, the formation of this can not be deviated from, so once inside this will prevent everyone except you clicking on Path 1 instead, all the optional paths will be greyed out and not selectable.

Communication between merging parties allowing each parties team leader to talk though the LFG tool and confirming the merger before it takes place. So you got three Warrior’s in your party and you are looking for two more any other class and a party of two more warriors wants to join you by a pm though the lfg tool and a confirmation to merge and you can tell the other party leader that it would be a party of all warriors and decline with a click and then once you do your party is greyed out to the other party so they can not try and troll you with merger requests.

Add a afk click box to the LFG tool, so if you post a party request up but need to go to the bathroom real quick, you can put the check in the box, your part will become greyed with Akitten a different color over top of your spot….people can join in and when you uncheck the box again you can be ready to go. However if you are gone more than 3 minutes with the afk box checked and people have joined your party someone else will become the leader and you will be displaced.

Also fix Leader Management of parties so Leadership can be passed by allowing the Leader to click their portrait and PASS Lead. So if you are playing for 1 1/2 hours in a dungeon and the leader suddenly has an “I got to go emergency” he can at least give another person lead so they all don’t get kicked when he leaves the party, this also means if no one is selected the game will auto select next person in the party to lead. This also Means you need a Leader Icon like a star and you need to display every persons portrait in the party area so everyone knows without a doubt who is leading the party. This also means if you have to vote kick the leader out cause he has Kitten-ritus the party automatically makes the person that initiated the kick the leader so parties don’t loose the progress they made up to that point.

Some think the Tool is being overlooked as its presence is not known. Give the LFG Tool its Own button with all the other buttons on the top menu so its more visible. I know that a lot of people are not using the tool cause they think when I look at the tool and there are no parties listed, whats the sense of using it. In fact the parties are filling up so fast that the tool is never showing results, but if you tap the refresh button over and over real fast you will see lots of parties all going grey as that’s how fast they get groups. With some of the other items I have added some party formations will slow down a bit and it will start to show more results. As it is right now its to easy to just slam any old group together willy silly nilly.

I would rather have the option to completely fill in all aoe circles with all red instead of lines around the empty circle, kinda like Wildstar is doing with there telgraph system.

Now I am not asking for anet to copy Wildstar, just allow me a checkbox to make mine fill in so I can see them better.
When multiple lines are on the ground I can’t tell where to avoid it as the overlap makes me first have to adjust the camera before I can tell which way to go.

On second thought I was a bit to harsh, maybe they should have a restore pill or something that cost 900 gems for each character….

So let me get this straight…..you are dead set against BUYING a transfer to another server but its ok to BUY a Restore feature….something is wrong with your reasoning.

the basic idea would be adding these type siege for use with smaller groups of 3 to 5 to attack Towers Only…Keeps and Stonemists would not have any effect on them if these are deployed. You will need a bare minimum of 3 players to operate the siege adding to the fact that these are designed for Roaming parties.

these would be more of a sneak attack where towers are left undefended and would take a bit of time to make the attack work and would not signal an attack until the party is inside….unless you are found out before you get inside.

Down side, if you are a class that can port…all porting abilities would go on cooldown as soon as a successful breakin occurs…no porting the waiting zerg.

Also some of the Towers have a natural defense against each of these siege’s… Since you have to be sneaky to make it work you have to go around to the side that is not viewed by many people to get it to work to begin with. So if the backside is on a rocky area digging will not work or if the side is on a cliff to high for the ladder it will not work and or a combination of the two.

I am not a all day WvW expert like many of the people who play exclusively in WvW, so I value your ideas to make the idea work correctly in the setting that I am suggesting it for. Please share your thoughts on how to make the idea work. If you can find a fault with the idea please share a way to fix the part as you see broken.

Arena Net wanted overflow servers to be like they are. The idea behind that is that you shouldn’t take care of where you are. You just TP to that area, there you are, being on the “main map” or an overflow server is not supposed to be of any concern. It’s the concept of “open world” vs “instanciated servers”.

(of course, any players that already have been put in an overflow server for Jormag or Tequatl knows that those assumptions are totaly wrong in game)

Yes, you “shouldn’t” take care of where you are. Which is why you would automatically put in the lowest-populated district. But let it be an option for large groups of players who actually want to organize.

I guess they are so mortally horrified of people turning this into a quasi “instanced raid” and creating WoW 2.0 that they’re deliberately crippling user experience.

What, they are doing this except it takes extra effort to get the system to create a new overflow and once they got one person in the new overflow they use the /join and get only the people they want in for the try. Once they leave the other overflow anyone else who comes in that is not part of the coordination will get stuck with all the AFK’s left in that Overflow.

As stated by a QA team member in https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/MF-items-NOT-account-bound-but-soulbound/first MF items were always meant to be soulbound if they already were prior the patch, and that the fact they wrote otherwise was “miscommunication” on their parts, one which they decided to clarify only after the patch even if they knew there were a lot of people which misunderstood the situation.
Since that last response we hadn’t anymore.

That thread got shut down with a statement that the answer had been given already. Even though people are not happy with that answer as it was kind of a slap to the face so to speak.
It reminds me of when I used to bank with a certain bank and they had been charging me for checking even though I met the requirements to have free checking. When I confronted them about it they said that they could not refund me all the money they had taken from my account, without my permission I might add.

I told that bank if they did not want a lawsuit, they would promptly refund all monies plus interest and the fee for an overdraft which was the reason I found out they had been taking my money to begin with. The lady then got the manager…..who had to get the district manager….who had to get with his boss which I don’t know what his title was but at that point I could care less.
He wanted to know why I thought that I should get interest back and I told him that if I had overdrawn my account, his bank as it did in this situation, would not see it a problem to charge me a fee. If it was not my fault that something like this happened, why does he think that the bank itself should be free from a fee when they have made a major mistake. I told him, you had possession of money that was rightfully mine and you make money by loaning money, where you charge interest. For six months you have made money off money you stole, the money that you made from that money belongs to me since you did not have my permission to use that part of my money towards loaning, and that part of my money was not secured in my account.

As it turns out, Yes they did refund the money and the fee for an overdraft and paid interest back to me for holding my money in position where I could not get to it, all without going to court. He apologized using words like “I and me” took full responsibility for the mistake and did everything in his power to make the situation right even if it meant they had a loss. Yeah its a good story of how a business made a mistake and fixed the problem and acknowledged the mistake, but it took me arguing with 4 or 5 different people to get the one who would take responsibility and fix the problem.

So who is next on the totem of managers at anet….You can shut down threads or change post covering up the mistake and send out bans all you want, but in our minds this problem won’t just go away as you think it will. And this is why I quit banking with that bank as even though I got back what was mine, the damage had already been done. Every time I made a deposit I would remember what they did and it angered me every time I had to do business with them.
Of course I do realize, that I own nothing in the case of the MF gear, and I might be addicted to playing the game so trying to issue a boycott of some course will probably not be successful, but I can assure you that I can withhold my urge to make purchases in the gem store with real money. That is of course you use the ban hammer to make a point of me and my insistence that a simple fix would resolve a lot of discontent.

Also you are not allowed to bump threads and good enough reason to shut down attempts to discuss something that Anet has made their mind up to not fix.

I can see some saying to someone hey get out of the turret so I can use it and the person who is there just ignores him as he really wants to do it. Then he gets his guildmates to report him using the proposed solution and it disconnects a player that was ready to play ,but was just not looking at the screen when the text was on there.

I do that while WAITING since this whole thing is waiting and waiting not playing mind you. I might watch a little television while the wait is on. Yes , I will have my headset on waiting to hear “Something is in the Water” line and I will snap back to my computers screen.

This is what happened to me while trying to get the chevio. I ran back near a jump pad and got ready to jump, since I seen that one of the batteries was taking to much damage and was not gonna make it over to help defend it in time. I guess about 10 other people had figured out that was what was gonna happen too, since we was all on the jump pad trying to hit F to make us jump.

I was the last person that it let hit the F button right as the wave crested on top of the pad. I did get launched by the pad but I did not make it over the wave it time. As my body hit the top of the wave it made me instead of careen over to next pad as when you see the Human Canon act done. No Instead, I was punted almost in a total vertically straight line, twice or maybe three times the normal height up into the air. I was not dead and I was not spinning in a ball as per the normal animation.

But unfortunately for me that was not gonna end well as the max height was reached and the games gravity set in pulling my now helpless self back to the ground. I realized very quickly that was gonna end in a death and looked at the mini map hoping that I could portal to a waypoint before the fall could do its deadly havoc. This was not going to be the case since well the only waypoint on the mini was you guessed it contested. I tried in vain to move the mini map a little over to get to the next waypoint and do some only possible in Star Trek mid air fall “Giving her all she’s got Captain” teleport to safety. That was not the case, as my fall had reached its max velocity and my poor little body met the ground with enough speed to crush every digital bone in my asurian body.

When she hit the ground there was a pause in time and its as if she had done the impossible and survived. She was standing upright as if nothing had happened. The game on the other hand, had ideas about what had happened and they just had not made up its mind what the consequences was gonna be at that second. When I went to walk away totally unscathed, for what felt like 5 seconds, the game decided that yes my character should die and did apply this aspect to my toon. In a flash, I went to the downed state and instantly died as if a zerg in WvW were hitting you with fifty different skills at the same time and no chance that hitting the self resurrecting skill could possibly do its intended function. She died as time resumed its normal flow in the continuum.

Without the award, the whole sequence of events was all for not. I was unable to secure the achievement and realized that anet must have wanted to take it out since it was counter productive, which as you might figure some of the other achievements just about are. You are not given points for helping, no, you are given them for wasting time. Sucked into the vortex you swim down to get a sunken treasure instead of swimming up out of the poisonous sea soup in the one named “I found It”.

If you ask me the Tidal Wave sent into the beach head should not have been what happens when you fail to protect the Mega Laser, but upon the fail for not meeting the time limit. Which I have never liked as a game mechanic for boss fights. But it would even seem more likely that the fish heads all around would have been the result of the wave as they were washed up on the beach at the same time.

Yeah what happens when you hit the magical magic find cap?…..does salvaging blues and greens stop dropping the consumables? Do they keep dropping but have no use to you anymore and now you are forced to have to delete them every time.

How about setting a cap limit for the other account bonuses.(gold find…karma…and exp gain. Let us vote to pick the next stat that gets the consumable. Or a npc that will let you change over to the next stat when you max out mf.

Do you find that if anything is suggested, if it resembles anything from another game you automatically shoot the idea down? Don’t want your gaming influenced by Mainstream? Were you attracted to GW by some of the unique features that were displayed in early manifestos?

So moving on from the sarcasm, what I’ve always disliked in other games is how people treat each other poorly because they’re faceless and easy to not think of as someone that matters. Whereas in GW2 it’s the opposite where people in the open world help each other and work together towards common goals and treat each other as if we were all real human beings on the other side of the game u/i. But this thread is a slap in the face to GW2 community and if people feel this strongly about it they should stop playing this game. There are some very valid complaints about the new Tequatl fight most of them involving people going AFK (worse Akitten a turret). I agree that if this content was instanced it would be easier for certain groups to complete it more regularly, but it would also mean that the we’d be less likely to get those issued resolved since most of the time they would be masked by people’s selective group building.

Oh really…..have you not seen people belittling others for the performance that they made in the most recent failure….I have in fact today was discussing things that could be done to make the fight work after the fight and someone started talking smack about my mother….yeah I felt like the warm and fuzzy picture of Human being you painted….not

Quite frankly….good….there should be fewer success stories than failures. The masses complain that the rewards suck so why do it at all? Regardless of your opinion deep down most people want to do it for achievements / prestige of completing content….and with that in mind its about kitten time there content in this game that has longevity not oh I did that thing once so now I don’t have to ever do it again.

This is a good change. If you are saying overflows are screwing you over then you just aren’t trying hard enough, overflows are beating him left right and center…theres guilds and commanders working specifically in overflows and downing tequatl time and time again.

And Mario would stop beating his head against bricks if those gold coins stopped dropping out of them. The current rewards are rather blah…sure there is a chance at ascended. Its not gonna drive people if the failure rate is higher than the drop rate, which right now I would say that is on par for the course.

After the Boss Week event is over bring an easier teq back to the open world with some updates like all the other world bosses got, but more doable for the casual player in mind. Take out any of the new loot from the open world version of Teq as that should be with the instanced version for its harder completion. Yes the easier Teq could still have fail mechanics without the need for 60+ players.

Then Have a Npc somewhere allow a squad or two under a commander start an instanced teq. fight that has all the new mechanics and a team that already knows their role and is more controlled. Upon Success the raid would go on a weekly cool down for all the players present at that time of success, that resets at the same time the WvW reset takes place. Also up the loot rewards for a win to include (chance at the ascended pieces – 1 exotic quality – 2 of the boxes – and 3 miscellaneous drops of blue to rare quality – a few of the ascended mats – and a big karma reward maybe 5000 not 310 and any bonus chest per percentage).

Add this raid type to the LFG tool so that these can be accessed by any who want to participate.

Which I believe has something to do with not wanting to have to pay for employee’s to do these kind of GM fixes that other games have employee’s that can do this. You know the GM’s that when you make a mistake and use that games feature to report it, within the next hour the GM pm’s you back and talks to you personally about what problem you are having and will usually fix it on the spot. Since Anet if free to play I don’t think they want to pay a staff of this kind of employee, but if they charged a sub maybe they could pay for this kind of expenditure.

This does not make for the best customer service and can make a game rated 10 seem like a game rated 6.

I made this thread back when the chest nerf was introduced to world bosses. Now since TEQ. and all the other world bosses have been buffed, I would like to reintroduce the suggestion for reconsideration and discussion.

how do you know for sure they are not gonna add mini pet battles later on or that when polymock comes that mini’s might be able to be used as game pieces.

I would not mind mini’s having a buff or something that makes you want to use them all the time as in other games…..
The problem in this game is that anet has set limits on how many of the mini’s can be out in any one instance at any given time. So, after this limit is hit then a lot of people would go into (*&^% mode and then the forums would fill up with hate since now only a few get to have the benefits of the mini’s in the way that you have posted.
