Actually, if you look at my build, it includes fern hound and traits for regen plus the blue moa for damage reduction

Here we go…with some tweaks with torch and scepter instead of GS
(edited by GussJr.1643)
You know, I forgot about torch O_o lol heads back to make tweaks
So, sitting at work, just toying around with this Chrono condi build…any input is welcome…for group or solo pve/wvw…pretty much camping staff and shatter…not a power build – but more of condi melt build with high health.

Me too. It was the weirdest thing… Thank you for the suggestions for finding the problem!
So it looks like I was able to fix it. For some reason I had a copy on my main drive as well as my ssd…not sure how that happened. Did a fresh install of everything, and some double checks, been working ok for the last hour or so.
Yea, everything was still being detected. I restarted after downloading the drivers yesterday. Haven’t tried a system restore or rolling back. The last error I got prior to uninstalling and reinstalling this last time was that it couldn’t find the .exe file. So now I am trying another clean install.
The first time it happened it was an I/O red gw2 error box, then it would just freeze and crash with the error box just saying GW2 has stopped responding. Then I couldn’t even get the launcher to load. No option to send crash report.
Have run the diag, and checked gpu and cpu, everything looks fine.
Having a hard time understanding what happened between when I logged off at 11pm last night, and when I logged in at 5am this morning.
I updated my Nvdia drivers yesterday afternoon, but I was able to play for a long while after that before I logged off.

I played last night just fine for about 4 hours and this morning it was totally unplayable uninstalled it and reinstalled it, did it again, and having to do it again.
Crashes after about 3 min in the game – about 30 seconds before the crash mobs disappear (can only see nameplate) and getting that weird armor texture on other people in the zone while my toon’s armor looks totally fine.
Did it about 5 times in a row this morning until I couldn’t even get the launcher to load.
Not sure if it matters…but I run everything on ultra…and use the 64 bit client
my specs:
i7 3770k
GTX 680 sc
Asus p8z77 pro mobo
8gb ddr3 1600mhz
Samsung Evo 840 ssd 120gb
Windows 7 service pack 1

It is slightly amusing that you’re frustrated not being able to kill a low lvl mob in less than two seconds…just wait until you get to HoT maps where the mobs have breakbars… Vinetooth anyone? Your level of rage-quit then might get quite high.
I use this build for all group content now…
I went from a fully ascended sinister set prior to HOT to a fully ascended cleric set after HOT…
This is what I run now… the almost constant bursting of the seeds when using a glyph means I very rarely have to go into Celestial Form…as long as my party members are in the radius of the burst. I constantly swap weapons and pets for their F2’s and try to stay away from camping one single weapon.
The fern hound adds extra regen…the blue moa provides a damage reduction…you cant buy the furious tuning crystals but I have an alt that makes them…just kind of expensive to make.
Its really a “Heal all the things” build… the downside is that alone you can hardly kill a fly – definitely for group play.
The superior sigil of life almost always is maxed at 25 stacks, and might is stacked the majority of the time just as an offshoot of group play. When the stacks are on, my healing power sits a little under 2100
I use it in the backline, mid, or right up on whatever we are fighting.

It spawns about every 3 hours… I got mine a few weeks ago at about 1pmish central time
lol It is not hard by any means… you either earn them by hard work inside the game… or earn them by hard work at your real life job…
Yeah. Forget about having fun and playing in a game. Let’s all just work.
Just all what people need from a game. More work.
lol See…I do have fun in the game…and I love my job….so its a win/win for me
10k drinks is fine lol finished mine last night

Yes, for me it does matter. I wanted to get the collection portion out of the way – which I finished last night – so that I can focus on the easy stuff left to do which is HoT map completion and HoT masteries…everything else I have.
(edited by GussJr.1643)
I’m in Tx…central time…I did Baridin and Siegemaster between about 1:30 and 2pm my time….Owl Spirit I did about 4:30 my time….if I remember correctly.
(edited by GussJr.1643)
Didn’t have a problem this weekend with Baridin or Siegemaster…pretty sure Owl Spirit was stealth patched late yesterday afternoon….the event did not fail and got my collection piece O_o
So I do not have Ley Line Gliding unlocked yet…and only lack 7 collection pieces for collection IV…
Does anyone know if Highest Gears completion will award the collection piece if you have a Mesmer porting you in the portions I would have to use Ley Line gliding?
Actually, go back and try it today at some point. I had been camping it for 3 days, got frustrated last night and then as I tried to WP back to DR, there was a mini patch…
Logged back in at the Owl WP and the event was happening…got the collection piece….and the event didn’t fail. O_o
Other’s standing with me at the time think maybe it was stealth patched…or maybe the RNG gods finally felt bad for us. (this was before standard server reset)

I didn’t sacrifice everything for healing…but darn near a lot, but really love playing this build.
How it feels outside of raids… Heal all the things!! (But honestly…very little damage when running all alone)
(edited by GussJr.1643)
Thank you Ghost and Asmodal, I appreciate the suggestions!
This is what I am running currently…
Thanks ya’ll, I’ll try that and see how it feels. As of right now I’ve stuck with Zojja’s gear…it works but it feels so vanilla…though I have to say I do enjoy the 15k+ crits with the LB skill 2…and the traps. Was hoping to find a build that would allow me to have that high of a crit more often – or constantly…I guess that’s why I was trying to push the crit chance and percentage. Just didn’t play out.
With that theory crafted build I was critting almost every hit but only for a measly 2k…and it felt awful.
Yikes, don’t do it…just tested it lol
So, have just been killing time at work theory crafting a Dragon Hunter build…It looks viable on paper but have no idea what the damage output looks like… any suggestions? Trying for as much power as I can get while maintaining as close to 100% crit chance and over 200% crit damage… I guess my thought is, is that even though I am sacrificing power, the crit chance and crit damage would make up for that.
Figured in with 25 stacks of precision and 25 stacks of might…
(edited by GussJr.1643)
lol yea, took me a few times to figure that out.
Actually really enjoying my Druid…with staff/axe/torch I may be slower to kill things solo…but the only times I’ve died so far in the new maps are when my gliding endurance ran out and there wasn’t an updraft to save me.
Human Female Druid
lol yes, pve, sorry for the confusion
This build has been overhauled. Please see new build in the “post your build” thread.

(edited by GussJr.1643)
With slight adjustments to fit my taste
Thanks OP for starting this. I have mained ranger since launch, and this is a very nice, fun, and welcome option. I loved the Druid this weekend and cannot wait to play it in HoT. Great job Irenio!
still theory crafting for high healing and high power…
(edited by GussJr.1643)
I hope the build editor gets updated soon, so we can really flesh it out with staff and the druid line, etc. pay no attention to the weapon choices or pets
