If we can use spearGUNS underwater, then why cant we use rifles on land? If my char is great on the trigger underwater, why would my char suddenly have no trigger skill on land?

Sure. I’ve been playing since a month after release and I’ve yet to have one drop. And I don’t expect to ever see one.

On the OP’s note; I’ll wait and see how much of a disaster it turns out to be before I decide whether or not to drop some cash on it.

Imagine these new specializations did not get tests…. and instead we just got the professions added to the game in their current broken state when HoT released.

That would mean that everyone playing would be abusing the broken aspects of the new specs…. rather than a few handfuls of people willing to beta test in real pvp.

If testing did not occur this way, the problem would simply be delayed and it would be 80x worse when the problem finally did surface.

Beta testing pvp is a necessary evil, and I can’t think of any other way to handle the situation.

Particle effects control would be nice and it’s been mentioned on these threads many times but has been totally ignored by Anet.

The Particle effects are so bad at events like the Frozen Maw that it’s very laggy and I cant even see the boss.

I’m sure that many are, myself included. My reason, and I’m sure others feel the same way, is that anymore MMOs are garbage spewed out by whoever churns the crapola to make a fast profit. There’s no quality anymore.

After I get bored watching Anet mutilate what was at the beginning a great game I’m out of MMOs for good.

With this patch my healing power dropped from 495 to 195. Thanks for kittening up a good Ele support build Anet.

No, direct damage should ALWAYS be the main way to inflict damage. Conditions should just be a little extra.

I could be wrong, but I havn’t seen a new armor SET in over a year. Why is that Anet, is it less of a effort to create a outfit instead of a set?

And outfits cost as many gems as a armor set but you cant mix and match.

If players would stop buying the outfits in protest to them maybe Anet will stop taking the lazy route.

I noticed on my Outfits page a outfit (locked) called “Exemplar’s Attire”. I don’t recall having seen this in the Gemstore, nor is it listed on GW2 Wiki. Is this outfit going to be introduced in a near future patch?

Those of us who’ve done the WvW maps should at least get a title for having done it.

My guess is that since Anet’s made no mention of it in the last 2 1/2 years that it aint going to happen.

Those folks working on repairs at LA must have been trained by CalTrans, the only people who can repave a road and leave the potholes intact. They aint made any progress that I can see.

For over a week I was unable to buy gems with a credit card. However, starting last Saturday I was finally able to do so. Now, after today’s patch I once again cannot buy gems with a credit card.

I just hope that whoever developed the expansion aint the same ones who came up with those so-called “improvements” to the game in 2014.

All that matters is that they’re GONE! Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

Yes it does. With a few exceptions, every one of their medium armor chests is a coat. Most with daggers hanging all over them. That’s very distinct.

I find both classes equally fun to play but if I had to keep only one it’d be the Elementalist. I think the Ele is more versatile than the Mesmer.

Remove having to run fracuals and crafting from the list. Many of us don’t craft or like fracuals.

Just give us picks from the list of dailies prior to the last patch, those were just fine.

I agree! I don’t know how to fight as a friggin’ Thief and have been getting my butt kicked trying to get the second door switch activated. I could do a helluva lot better with a char that I know!

The Tribal armor set and other armor sets that were sPvP-exclusive will be obtainable again at some point in the future. There is no ETA as to when this will happen.

That’ll happen at about the same time as Anet fixes the vanished Human Female animations.

I would like a option to lock the camera view to the direction that the char is facing. Older MMOs had this so why aint it here?

Howdy! I have a new Mesmer char and I aint seen much in the way of condition removal. Cleansing Conflagration is the only thing I’ve noticed that has any condition removal, and I don’t care for using the torch. Is there anything else I may have overlooked?

If you have a somewhat balanced build they do not one-shot you.

Then they only 2 shot you. On top of that, when getting swarmed by Mordrem Wolves, (I always seem to end up with 3 on me) who do massive damage, you cant get away from them due to the lame kitten arthritic slowdown that we’re saddled with when in combat and with their speed and leaps, you have NO CHANCE of survival with them.

Plus, the mobs chase you a helluva long ways. I had 4 mobs chase me all the way from Red Rock to Camp Resolve where the gun turret finally blew them away. That’s kittenin’ ridiculous.

There’s a “challenge”, and there’s bullkitten. This is bullkitten.

I can tolerate them a helluva lot more as they are now. Endless retaliation + massive damage as they originally were is horsepuckey. Anet actually learned something here.

Massive nerf + mobs don’t drop loot + boring, unchallenging faceroll content = empty map.

Not to mention a density of trash mobs that are a thick as Orr was in the bad old days. Endless roots and knockdowns from the Mordrem. Endlessly being poisoned. Mobs that pound you into the dust if there’s 2 or more on you that you cant escape from due to the lame kitten slowing down while in combat. And major lag spikes galore.

As soon as I have enough Bandit crests to buy the other 5 Carapace armor items I’m gone from that place.

Ok, How does one preview armor pieces in the wardrobe that you don’t have? I used to be able to do this with the PvP armor.

Where did you preview the Carapace armor? I’d like to see if it’s worthwhile getting the whole set.

The only problem I had with this fight was that 75% of the time the bubbles that make you fragile that you transfer to the Vortex Crystals spawned in the middle of those AoEs that one-shot you. As a result this fight took a helluva lot longer to do than it should have.

Other than that, it wasn’t too tough.

And again, the animations will be back in the future.

How about turning the animations back on while we wait for “the future” to get here?

IMHO, if Anet hasn’t fixed this by now, after all the patches they’ve had since this problem started, it’s because they have no intention of doing so and are hoping that we’ll forget about it.
